I have received the same fraudulent call on saturday 29th july 2017 from two different numbers [protected] the lady she spoke to me her name was anjali she said she is working in snapdeal sales department and very clearly she said that every year snapdeal conduct such promotion offers where the user from each state will be selected and they will gift some expensive items for free but the user will have to make some purchase from the site.
When i spoke to her she was already having all my snapdeal account details that means these people are employees in snapdeal, i had never expected this online shopping site will go to this level.
This to be taken in action by snapdeal as they are calling on behalf of snapdeal.
They are giving offer on purchase of their combo products. On minimum purchase of rs.4000, there is a assured gift (Gift like iphone, led tv etc... Such other expensive gifts). Cod is not available... There is only online payment option. They will ask for the 16 digit card number and cvv number behind the card.
And all the payments they make from paytm
Their numbers [protected] – anjali from uttar pradesh, [protected]- prashant shukla from kolkata working in snapdeal delivery department from www.snapdeal.com
Not only assured gift they also says, if i make the payment through online they will give 50% cashback (Ex. If i transfer 4000, i will get discount of 2000) and once we make the payments they will send a fake message with some random order id’s and dispatch id’s, which if we search on snapdeal then they ask us to pay the gst tax on for the products otherwise the order will be cancelled none of the things will be delivered unless we make payment.
Payments will be done through paytm details as below
Pos paytmwal1210203 at one97 communications, pos [protected] at paytm mobile solutions.
