I had purchased a wallet from snapdeal worth Rs. 1025 (Order ID: [protected]) on 15 Jan, 2015. The product was delivered to me on 19 Jan, 2015. I did not like the product, so placed a return request for the same on 20 Jan, 2015. Return pickup was done on 21 Jan 2015. But I have not received the refund for the same till date.
I have contacted customer care many times, had hours of conversations but every time I just get to listen that they regret for such long delay and I would receive the refund by end of the day. But no response. Even after mailing at customer care many times : Reference No. 18796079, 18571961, 19017679, 19109004. I have not received a single response from Snapdeal.

    I pramod lende ordered I ball 2.Speaker on snapdeal.com on 1I january 2016.I got delivery on 19 January.Bt products was defective.so I requested to compani for replacement.so I got email tht pick up for products has been sent on 24January by snapdeal.Bt till 8February nobody has com to pickup product.so kindly help

      I’ve bought a TomTom Smart watch from Snapdeal on 24thJan’16 by Cash on Delivery option, this is my first purchase from Snapdeal, this Smartwatch was not having a feature which I was actually looking for, the feature is “Optical Heart Rate Monitor”, the product description says this feature is optional, but nothing has been mentioned about this as what is the option. I thought that this product will have this feature as it’s a high end watch and the optional word here is for low end watches, as generally the same description is used across same class of watched with minute differences.
      The product arrived on 31stJan’15 and I paid the money in cash, after opening the delivery I have found that the feature “Optical Heart Rate Monitor” is not there and so this watch is not the one I want to have, so immediately the same day I ordered for return and cancellation and refund, next day I got a call from Snapdeal executive asking for the reason and I explained the same, that I actually was under the impression that this watch will have “Optical Heart Rate Monitor” feature but it doesn’t have, he said they will initiate the return and refund .I was very happy and happy that SnapDeal is what I have dreamt of while seeing all the adds of Amir khan, and the flashy website advertisements :
      7 days easy returns, 100% money protection and Easy Cancellations

      I think next day, another executive called me and told in a very strenuous voice that they cannot take back the product as its mentioned in the product that this feature will not be there, so full and final they will not take back the product .
      I shattered here, as I can see how my INR21999.00 is never going to come back .

      I though I will explain them again, but the guy was not listening .

      I called the customer case executive again and he took note of my issue and told me all good things, I later release why he did that, as he needs a good customer satisfaction survey by me.

      Again after few days I called the support executive, and she told that it’s still pending for approval .

      Now today I called the support executive and she told that the product will definitely be taken back and money will be returned, and I was happy, even though I was thinking that this also can be for the sake of good customer feedback, but I followed the good part hoping its true.

      After that another executive called me and said they cannot take back the product and they cannot do anything about it and started telling me all the policies they have there .

      I have the audio recording for all this telephonic conversations .

      I as a first time customer to Snapdeal feel cheated in the name of easy returns, 100% payment protection, easy cancellations.

      I wish if you would have flashed all the policies to the customer while purchasing and not while he/she wants to return.

      What ever I am going through is because of your so called Easy Returns, 100% Payment Protection, Easy Cancellation ..


      Sorry to say, but I will never use snapdeal gain for anything in my life.

        I bought Panasonic eluga from snapdeal around 7 months back. This mobile started giving problem after 15 days o[censored]sage. There was problem with charging port, headset jack and the mobile used to heat up after using continuously for just 15-20 mins.
        After waiting for 3 months, i could not cope with this problems from this hand set and visited one service center and got it checked by the center people, to my surprise the handset was already opened and there was something written(SV) inside the mobile(attaching the snap) and the center guy told me that this handset is a used one(refurbished one), called up snapdeal customer care center.They told me to visit another Panasonic customer care centre and get the handset checked .I visited this center(sree sakthi telcom service center rajajinagar) these people are very rude and un professional. They made me visit many times and they took one month to get it repaired. Even after there claim of repair being done, the device has the same problem which were there at the beginning.
        I suggest people not to buy any products from snapdeal. even i got similar complaints about snapdeal from many people. This is a bogus online marketplace. After many months of failed communication with snapdeal, i am now going to social media and planning to sue them in consumer court for all this ordeal.

              Snapdeal delivered me wrong product, Instead of 64GB iphone they delivered me 16GB. After so many phone call and emails they finally got the wrong product picked up on 28th of January and I was informed on 29th that my refund will be credited to my account on 4th Feb. Today it is 8th Feb and I have still not received amount from Snapdeal. When I call them they are saying that the amount has already been paid.

                            Folks I can see lot of positive review about snapdeal.com from buyers. But I like to caution them before they make such benign opinion and comment about Snapdeal.

                            Today I will expose the Biggest Scam of Snap Deal. Perhaps most of the buyers who are buying product from snapdeal are oblivious that they been Duped. I will expose layer by layer how Snap Deal is deceiving buyers. My ordeal goes like this.

                            Did you remember that most of this e-commerce site come with Festival offer and promise cash back after few month?

                            Last year Snapdeal have come with similar offer during Independence Day. The offer was enticing which promise buyer of cash back of 10 to 15% on the purchase amount. Now there is a catch when you make such purchase please read the term and condition carefully. It says that cash back will be refunded to the account from where the payment is been made after 2 Month.

                            I made a purchase of HP Notebook of a purchase value 21490 under Independence Day offer where I can entitle for 10% cash back. According to TERMS the 10% cash back will automatically get credited to by account by 15 Oct 2015.

                            Now as time pass I forgot about the cash back. Suddenly I remember in the Jan 2016 that I was supposed to get cash back. I went to my bank account to find out whether I have received cash back. lo and behold I came to know that its not be credited.

                            I immediately called the call center on 24 Jan 2016. They told me that they will resolve the concern in 48 hours. I waited for their response however to my surprise there was no response. I made the call again on 29 Jan 2016 to my surprise they told me that complain as not been register properly and they will take my complain again and will revert in 48 hours with proper resolution.

                            Guess what I wait for that 48 hour again and there was no call. So on 5 Feb 2016 call them again . I was peeved on Call center executive and told her that I been cheated and duped by snap deal. Rather attending to my concern the executive was busy defending the company. She assured me that I will receive the call in next 48 hour from concern team. It’s been 52 hours since then and I have not received any call.

                            I want to highlight larger point. Isn’t this a corporate scam? They were supposed to return the money but they are not doing it. Perhaps there would be so many o[censored]s who will not even remember that they have brought product under such offer and eligible for refund. I would like other buyer to come forward and share their stories on how they feel victim of such corporate scam. In the age of technology let’s debunk the company who want to deceive us

                              Hello Consumer Forum Team,
                              Me and some of my friends placed book orders under the "100% cashback books" offer on 20th and 21st december. I have been trying to claim my cashback from the last 15 days, but the support team has been saying that offer was not live on 20th and 21st.

                              They kept asking me for proofs, which i provided one by one :

                              Proof 1 :
                              I provided them the screenshot of snapdeal's Own Affiliate Panel which shows that the cashback books offer was live on 21st.
                              You guys are familiar with snapdeal's affiliate panel? There we can get reports of visited urls and also the dates.
                              So i have screenshot of that, which snapdeal can't deny, right?

                              Proof 2 :
                              Webarchive.org is a popular website which keeps track of popular websites and takes screenshot of their pages at time.
                              Please visit below urls, and you will see that they have taken screenshot of snapdeal's offer page on 21st december, which means offer was live on snapdeal website on 21st december :

                              This is a valid proof, which how can they even not look at?

                              These are the call details made on that day, which they can cross verify with their records.

                              This is everything i am able to provide, and they simply state that offer was not live on 21st.

                              What i am providing here is not sufficient enough for them to accept that offer was live at the time?
                              I have been active on their twitter and facebook help page, but they always say that this offer is not showing in their panel for 20th and 21st, so they won't be able to help any further.
                              Their team is not even that technical to understand the proofs i have provided to them, how idiotic.:

                              Me and my friends have placed on snapdeal's trust, which is i guess what we are paying for right now.

                              I am hoping to get a proper solution for the problem i am facing.

                              No resolution whatsoever.
                              The customer support team is useless, as they always verify offers from their back-end team.
                              And their stupid back-end team is denying this offer being live on 21st december, even when i am showing the offer page tracking in Snapdeal's own affiliate panel.

                              Height o[censored]nprofessionalism.
                              They say that their core values inclue "Ownership" and "Honesty".
                              So how is denying an offer when in fact it was live on that day, could be called "Honesty"?
                              And they don't even want to take so called "Ownership" for this.

                              If anyone could help me with a legal process, and could verify if my provided proofs are valid enough, and how could they be used to get snapdeal to provide my cashback.
                              I would be greatful.

                              As for Snapdeal support team,
                              If you people really want to solve this case, then first understand what proofs i have provided, i always receive calls from agents who don't have even slightest idea of what i have given as proofs.

                                  Dear Team Snapdeal,

                                  I am very sorry to say that the customer grievance redressal system is not good of your company.

                                  The issue was not that important, but by lingering from your end has made it so now.

                                  I'll like to bring to your knowledge a recent similar issue faced by me while dealing with AMAZON. Due to some reason, shipping charge of Rs. 40/- was realised from me while placing the order while the shipping was free for orders above 499. I simply wrote two lines and within 10 minutes, cashback was credit to my account. NO EVIDENCES REQUIRED.

                                  It is therefore not the scale of issue but it is what you all make it. As in my case:

                                  FIRSTLY, you did not know what items are being offered cashback.

                                  SECONDLY, instead to believe the customer, you ask for evidences.

                                  THIRDLY, after receiving the evidence, instead of resolving the issue, you refer it to concern team.

                                  FOURTHLY, it is communicated that the back-end team has decided that the item purchased be me is NOT eligible for cash-back. HENCEFORTH, the cashback offered on the product page was just to allure the customer to buy BUT the intention behind is to misguide the customer and later-on deny any cashback. If this malpractice is applied on one product then must be prevalent on many other products offered on the site and many customers are fooled by alluring them to buy and lateron deny any benefit. SUCH TYPE OF ACT COUNT TO FRAUD PUNISHABLE UNDER CRIMINAL PROCEDURE CODE(CRPC). IF THE ISSUE IS NOT RESOLVED, I MAY BE COMPELLED TO LODGE A CRIMINAL CASE OF FRAUD AGAINST SNAPDEAL FOR FOOLING AND COMMITTING FRAUD WITH THE CUSTOMERS as nowadays filing an FIR has been made very easy through email.

                                  I am sorry to say that by lingering-on the issue and not resolving may result in customer dis-satisfaction. It is not the amount that matters but the policy and approach of a company, which is being followed by the staff.

                                  PLEASE learn from your competitors or else you might loose customers.

                                  You all don't even care to revert back to your customer complaints. Posting of complaints in your Facebook page is also not allowed/deleted. I suggest that this way you are not saving yourselves but creating a problem for yourselves.
