i am a seller on snapdeal. i sold many products on snapdeal. but, did not get any payment from snapdeal. no response from them. snapdeal did not only fooling the buyers, also they are fooling the sellers as well. i get a so much loss of money and my hard work to deliver products to buyers. snapdeal gets a wonderful profit from it. but, i did not get anything else i get a huge loss. please take a severe action against them. my seller id - s713df company name - opticare. please don't buy and sell anything on snapdeal.

SNAPDEAL boldly declares, "Please share your seller ID at "[email protected]" but this is just an eye-washing or brain-washing or an utterly cunning/shrewd technique of Snapdeal. Why such strong vehemence? I challenge you : You try writing something to "[email protected]". The next moment, you will receive an automated reply, "We are no longer handling queries sent to this email address - '[email protected]' " !!! This is happening several years !!!

We too faced a similar fraud by Snapdeal. I believe its some sort of Scandal being done by SNAPDEAL to cover up their losses, wherein they just hold the payment of New/small sellers for some or the other reason.
we register with snapdeal ( Seller ID S6c3cc ) to sell Dress material ( VAT Exempted). At the time of registration we double checked VAT/TIN requirment as it was confirmed by snapdeal that Dress material category is VAT exempted and we can go ahead and start selling on SNAPDEAL. We started well and within a span of week or so processed & successfully delivered 4-5 order & our rating was 5/5. When we send reminder mail for release of payment, snapdeal updated us since there is some change in Snapdeal policies & now they would require VAT registration to release our payment. Now our payment of approx 5-6 K is stuck with SNAPDEAL. we send Numerous mails to sellers help as well as our account manager and the only reply we got to submit VAT/TIN no. We also got different replies to our mail, once they said your payment will be released on such and such date, once they said your DVAT no is blocked while we are based out of punjab e.tc. We check with our CA if there is any change in govt norms in terms of exemption but there had been no change in govt policy. So its a clear case of fraud by snapdeal to goble up our money.
So after numerous mails to snapdeal we finally decided to close our ac and donate the amount to snapdeal as charity. We would like to warn all seller esp startup/small seller to stay away from snapdeal due to their fraudulent sellers policies.

I am a new seller of snapdeal, i listed some products on snapdeal. After few days I got 4 orders one by one. We dispatched 4 orders. After few days they returned 2 products with reasons packing is not proper. Its was not big deal but after few days I got bill of amount double that I delivered. I read the bill, they said as per our policy we charge for returned product and also they charge for out of stock. The problem is not with they charge me, but problem is they charge this much( they charged 3 times i delivered/got orders.

Snapdeal cheat me, now final condition is they accepted order for amount 3600, and I my due payment to snapdeal is 6200!!! Which is very big shock for all sellers.

Dear business men, don't sell on snapdeal, it will give you only loss.

I had partnered with Snap-deal as an e-commerce seller which is going to be needed by all potential Buyers .But It was my biggest Mistake and worst move to associate my self with Snap Deal which completely lacks ethics.

This revenue generation cannot be only for Snap-deal. We never made money out of it and bearing enough loss by frequent returns and late shipments, In fact, we had borne losses to bear the operational costs. But under such circumstances any pending payment from you over the months then it becomes despairingly frustrating.

Its a platform to dupe sellers and customers. Lacks ethics and integrity. Pick up never happens on time you guys cancelled the orders spoiled ratings and frequent returns and we received Rs 100 saree where original item was shipped worth Rs 4000/- and many more issues.

I am sure its a syndicate of organised fraud by SNAPDEAL to cover up their losses, wherein they just hold the payment of New/small sellers for some or the other reason.
I registered with snapdeal to sell dress material in women's Clothing which is VAT Exempted. At the time of registration we double checked VAT/TIN requirement as it was confirmed by snapdeal that Dress material category is VAT exempted and we can go ahead and start selling on SNAP DEAL in individual capacity . We started well and within a span of week or so processed & successfully delivered 11-13 orders & rating is 4.2/5.

When payment was not released after 3 cycles, we mailed them and snapdeal updated us since there is some change in Snap-deal policies & now they would require VAT registration to release our payment. Now my payment of approx 15-20k is stuck with SNAPDEAL. I have written and called sellers help as well as our account manager and the only reply we got to submit VAT/TIN no.

We also got different replies to our mail,


I was informed by my manger under a promotional scheme no marketing fees will be levied up to 25 orders now they had deducted all marketing fees and refuse to pay reversal.

Let’s acknowledge nobody appreciates pursuing or getting pursued for money. I am writing this email after following up with your team about my pending payment status

We check with our CA if there is any change in govt norms in terms of exemption but there had been no change in govt policy. So its a clear case of fraud by snapdeal to take my money and many more sellers.

I have made my inventory zero and want my money back . I have even decided to take this matter to legal help and social platforms.

We would like to warn all seller esp startup/small seller to stay away from snapdeal due to their fraudulent sellers policies.

this comment can be shown in court if snapdeal does not reply for the same, here,

i declared that i did not received approximate 3 lack rupees from snapdeal for my sold item, and snapdeal is keeping money received from buyers against sold item by me.

issue is that snapdeal commit that they have complaint for fake products whose percentage is 0.56% that means 1 out of 200 orders, We called the concerned and we demanded proof that describe fake product but did not received on email upto now

as a seller every body understand this, this is commonly fault a buyer end.

Yes True they are big cheeters ..I am one of the sellers of snapdeal. They cheated me holded my payments stating recoveryof 2 yrs. back l. since last 2 years i amcontinously working with SD but now i think their business is not happening so by fraud intentions theyare holding the vendors payments and claiming that they are going to increase the sellers upto 10 L. In rajastan nobody is ready to work with them as toeach and everyone they have done the same thing and they can hold any payments at any time.

I think giving 1 star is too high for them we must give them negative rating and beware sellers selling on snapdeal

By looking complaint over this websites "consumercomplaints", it`s look like that snapdeal is one of the biggest Fraud Company.

Same thing happened with me, they stopped my payment approx 8.5 Lakh., even if they are not ready to talk . Also they are not ready to show any evidence.

Yes Snapdeal is doing the cheating,

same as with me also, i send 12 Boxes to buyers of my Product, its Returned after Used.

i told to snap deal seller support, they suggest me to open disputes regarding all returns .
i opened disputes for those all 12 boxes,

1 box price is 2000 Rs, they approved my dispute amount for only 2 boxes and other Disputes not proceeded and closed the Queries.

so in that case they approved 4k out of 24k so here i loss 20k,

And snap deal Calculate commissions, shipping, Advertisements and other their Regular charges on all 12 Box and they calculate 19k as Charges which i have to pay to snap deal.

After all this Calculation i didn't Received any amount.

But in the panel show -19k when i asked to seller support the executive said its RTO Charges & penalty,

already i loss 20k by used product and other 19k as RTO penalty. total 39k loss without Selling anything from snapdeal.

So please Beware of this kind of Marketplace where i think Buyers may be can Get benefit by discounts. but sellers are always Cheated. like me many sellers are already Cheated.

snapdeal is worst and i am seller and i find lot of penalty is added with customer fake rating or reason for return and after i prove customer is wrong that time i have to wait for payment to reimbursement of penalty and raise queries for that..

worst online site i ever seen...

also customer damage the packaging of product and resend it back in easy return policy and when i complain to the sanpdeal it say we will pay 5% or 10% reimbursement for damage of packing but they dont know no one is ready to by with damage packing...

i get every day 2 to 10 orders and 2 to 5 return and i was surprised all returns made by courier not much by buyers...

also they do lot of fraud by charging penalty and high payment for logistic and commission for small product..

also they charge penalty for wrong reasons... customer raised complaint as wrong product and there is no penalty applicable but they put in wrong and faulty to take penalty...

I filed complain and immediate pickup was initiated. 2 days later I called to ask about my money which was not refunded. I was told that my account has been suspended since I have done some suspicious stuff and so my money will not be refunded and they could no longer help me.

I'm dissapointed with snapdeal. Snapdeal courier returns are more than delivered products. they are charging for courier returns. i understand you are charging shipping but Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm they are not charging courier returnds. Becuase they think about sellers. We are in loss due to courier returns. Why are you not changing policies. You are giving us Ad campaign in 5000 rs for single category. You should start from 1000 rs and categories with our choice. If this will continue then i and every seller will stop selling on snapdeal. Everybody is already saying that snapdeal is in loss and not worth for sellers. They also said that snapdeal is fake company. Please improve your policies and make a new image in market so we can do better.

With so many stories of CHEATING OF SORTS BY THE COMPANY SNAPDEAL, like the way I have suffered hugely on many counts due to the wicked ways of functioning of Team Snapdeal, I wonder what happened to all such reported complaints at Consumer Complaints.

The pickup services Snapdeal provides are totally baseless and irresponsible as I have created dispute for not pick up the parcel and it had been 2 days passed still I have not received any email or response from their team and afterwards they will charge penalty. What a poor and pathetic service and management by snapdeal. The worst platform ever to do any king of business with this scammers.

    We booked one designer chickoo color saree worth Rs.999, order number-[protected] but the cloth wasn't the same as shown in the picture so we replaced it.On the replacement we had ordered a blue designer saree, order number-[protected], worth- Rs 930 hasn't came yet to me.I have the replacement bill.It is my kind request to do the above needy.       I m vengatesh. I have order Nikon D5100 on 17/3/2015 at 9:21. But i didnt get any sms or email. I got order number also. I called your customer care. Your order will be cancelled due to some technical issue. And the money will be refund to after 5 to 7 days. I have purchased this item through EMI. The bank billed the interest. Why i need to pay interest Rs.836 without buying anything. I didnt cancel the order. You peoples are only responsible for this. I asked your customer care. You dont need to pay interest. That will be adjustable by snapdeal itself. And again i called asked another one lady told your interest money will be refundable by snapdeal. which statement is true ? i need solution to my problem. i m getting different different info. Why i need to pay interest without buying anything ? will you pay to someone without buying anything ? But still my order didnt cancelled. i have attached snapshot of order summary. Instead of refund. If i get my order. That would be better.

          I purchased DSA Set of 3 DSA 12 W LED High Power Bulbs vide Order No. [protected] from www.snapdeal.com a renowned online shopping portal on Jan 10, 2015 by making a payment of Rs.435.00 through netbanking option. The product was delivered on Jan 16, 2015 through courier. Immediately on noticing that I have received defective items, I have requested for return of the same and placed a request for reverse pick up on Jan 17, 2015 which was accepted and the product was collected back on Jan 18, 2015 with an assurance that my amount paid (Rs.435.00) will be credited back to my bank account within 5-7 working days. So I started waiting anxiously for the confirmation on my refund. Days passed and there was no sign of confirmation and I started sending mails to the Customer Care and made several phone calls to them. Every time I have sent a mail or spoke to the Customer Care Executives, I have received the reply that my refund is under process and it will be credited to my bank account within next 24 hours. Even I have sent soft copy of my bank statement after being asked by the Customer Care Executive as a proof for not receiving the refund amount of Rs.435.00. Even after making series of thorough follow ups for last 40 days or so with www.snapdeal.com, I have not received my refund amount till now This is nothing short of cheating which should be dealt with very seriously. I need my amount of Rs.435.00 along with compensation for cheating me in this manner.

            i had bought SAMSUNG GALAXY S DUOS 2 GT-S7582(white) last year and now it's battery is causing me problem. I cannot use the phone continuously for even a minute as it automatically gets switched off even with 100% battery.                           I'm requesting to all my friends who are purchasing product from Snapdeal.com that do not buy anything from snapdeal.com because they are doing promise but not fulfill it. Last sunday at 12PM, I bought a "Karbonn Android Sparkle V Grey" cell phone from Snapdeal.com with using Next-day Delivery from Snapdeal.com. I paid (+) Rs. 99 extra for it so that i can get it by Monday. In order track page I found delivery time was "[protected]:44:32", so I was waiting and when i call to customer care of Snapdeal.com they told me that they will not counting Sunday in "Next-day Delivery" service. When I talked with courier boy he told me he'll deliver product by Tuesday and he was still not sure. When I was asking for time he putted down the phone. Really such a great way to cheat consumers, If they are not counting sunday in "Next-day Delivery" service then why not they mentioned it in their service page. I really disappointed with their service and now i'm feeling like cheated by someone :( This is very disappointed and disgusting service by Snapdeal.com. I'm sure I'll not buy anything from Snapdeal.com in future. This was my first experience to buy anything from Snapdeal.com and it was last. I'm waiting for Tuesday to get my phone. :( I'd attached proof with this complaint and spread, share or send this hash tag #‪DontBuyFromSnapdeal‬ with all your friends & relatives who are shopping online like this kind of website.

No customer stratification is taken under consideration, cancelling order without any prior information to the customers. Only our phone balance is being wasted by call center representatives, no body ever from snapdeal site is contacting back even after giving them unsatisfactory feedback. Same thing happened with me repeatedly twice for my two of the ordered products.

                                      The product was returned on 10.1.15. I am requesting for the refund, Till date 15.3.15, I am calling to their customer care twice a week and get a regularly get the message that the refund will take 5-7 working days. The product that I had rejected was Surya Gas stove, reason was that it was received with damaged in transit, the photos were sent to the Snapdeal immediately, as this is had safety concerns I had rejected this product. I have shared my account no and other details and through their snapdeal system and I have shared the snapshot to them. I am really frustrated to follow up with them, as they are giving false information stating that the refund team will revert back and the customer care is not giving any commitment. As a customer I cannot go into the each and every department and process of snapdeal company for collecting my money. Please help me to collect the money, from snapdeal.

The product that I had rejected was BSNL champion standard mobile, reason was that it was received is not like mention in photos of taht product, I had rejected this product. I have shared my account no and other details and through their snapdeal system and I have shared the snapshot to them. I am really frustrated to follow up with them, as they are giving false information stating that the refund team will revert back and the customer care is not giving any commitment.
