I want to register a complaint against online shopping site Snapdeal.com.
I placed an order for Curtains in that site (order no. [protected]) on
14.10.14. This order was placed for Diwali shopping. There were total 4
items ordered in that Purchase order. After few days snapdeal intimated
me that only 1 items among the 4 will be delivered to me on 21.10.14.
While enquired, they couldnt assure me for rest of 3 items. Surprisingly
no product has been delivered to me on 21.10.14. And next day, i, e
22.10.14, while i called them, I came to know that the item will be
delivered on 27.10.14 i.e after one more week. As earlier, they were not
sure of rest of 3 items ordered in the same P.O.
My Diwali was a complete mess because of this careless attitude of
snapdeal and they spoiled my festive mood too.
Not only that, they again broke their commitment and no product has been
delivered to me on 27.10.14. Now, when I am calling snapdeal, they
bluntly refusing saying that they cannot tell me when the ordered items
will reach to me. Please note that I have made a full payment for the
complete order.
Whenever, I call snapdeal, I lose lot of balance in my phone, as they
keep me in waiting, and they donot have any toll-free number. So,
ultimately I have wasted a lot of money in calling this online shopping
site and received no result.
My sincere request to you is to register the complaint and take a
serious note regarding this careless and irresponsible attitude of
snapdeal.com. They are simply not interested to solve my problem, only
sending me a routine mail asking for apology.
My request is to take legal action against snapdeal.com for this
cheating case. My order value was Rs.2196/- and I need the payment back
along with all my telephone expenditure and also all penalties for
non-stop mental harassment by this company.
Please advice me to move forward in this case and to take necessary
steps against this company.
