Snapdeal — Fraud - keeps rs 3, 250 returns + no refund

Do a google search and you see thousands of complaints against this fraud called snapdeal. Here is another.

Snapdeal is a totally customer unfriendly, shady company that engages in fraudulent unethical practices to rip off customers.

Buying there was a nightmare. They chose to disregard all the purchases i made from them and steal rs 3, 250 from me by keeping items that were returned and never refunding the money. Additionally i lost quite a few hundreds calling customer care.

Customer'care' is hopeless and blatantly rude and dishonest.

They refuse to give any written acknowledgement in email of any resolution they give on the phone and then they lie shamelessly with a holier than thou attitude.

This is not a transparent company. They kept my money but flatly refused to give me a reason verbally and of course in writing for the same.

Snapdeal corporate office numbers keep ringing. All the customer can do is speak to the dishonest customer care robot executives on [protected] who are trained to give utter to customers. The snapdeal grievance redressal phone and email helpdesk is a sham.

Snapdeal ships faulty products - defective / wrong / duplicate products and refuses refund for returned products that have safely reached them.

Here are the return ids for which i never got a refund / replacement as per snapdeal's 7 day trustpay policy. Nor were the returned items shipped back to me as promised by floor supervisor kishan singh after my many phone calls.

After spending hundreds calling them, all i got is a bunch of lies from their floor supervisors like kishan singh, anjali rai, darpan yadav and sandeep kumar.

These cheats hide behind anonymity so their names must be mentioned. A guy supervisor disconnected the call pretending to not be able to hear me.

I was told the return items would be shipped back to me as snapdeal wouldn't refund. Why the hell did they send me the return forms, tracking numbers, token numbers then?

Snapdeal never sent the items back. They kept the money and returned products and evaded me on the phone well knowing such practices are outright unethical.

Among the other annoying things this company does is bombard customers with unnecessary texts and calls the whole day when one places orders on their website. Do not disturb customers the whole day snapdeal.

They often insist on shipping items even when a customer cancels an order soon after placing it and receives a confirmation for the same. As if they are super desperate to thrust products on customers.

Snapdeal offers / deals are not as attractive as they seem at first glance. Snapdeal has a perpetual sale to lure customers unlike its competitors. But the latter often drop their prices lower than snapdeal when they have a sale. Whatever i bought on snapdeal became available for the same / lower price on other credible shopping websites. Buying from this third rate shopping website with dismally rotten service is only inviting trouble and losing your peace of mind.

Now the snapdeal website has improved but earlier when i placed orders, since many of their items weren't in stock, they cancelled orders without refund. For one prepaid order i never got the refund for the order snapdeal cancelled. Didn't have the time to puruse the nonsense after sending them my bank statement as they asked me to.

The fraud company has no reverse pick up service in many pincodes. I had to take the returns to the bluedart office myself after snapdeal sent me the return forms not knowing the thieves would keep the products and my money.

Beware of this fraud snapdeal and buy there at your own risk.

Buy more from them and they'll want to steal more from you.

A big zero star for this huge customer rip off scam.

One day this stupid company will lose to its efficient and ethical competitors.

Shame on you unscrupulous snapdeal cheats. Rob customers and you'll lose them all and sink ur dirty boat.

There is still the press, courts and law enforcing and regulatory bodies in this country to deal with myopic fraud companies like snapdeal.

Snapdeal head of customer experience dharmarajan k. Who left flipkart to join this fraud business should try and clean up some of the filth in snapdeal if he is far - sighted enough.

One automated apology sent as to all other customers who complain online.Then refund cases buried. Snapdeal is a shameless thief and a fraud company. Poor ratings online. Thousands of complaints.

Shame shame unscrupulous DHARMARAJAN K., snapdeal.

You steal customers to make your business grow.

Dharmarajan k needs to be taken to court for heading a bunch of thieves.

I had ordered for a mobile holder. I found the product to be not worth since it was made of cheap rubber. As per their return policy, I wrote to snapdeal to pick up the return product. They promptly wrote an email promising that the product would be picked up by their couriers within 48 hours as follows:

"Your item will be picked up within next 2 business days. If you require any further assistance, feel free to reply to this email. We’d be glad to help you".

There was also phone call promising to pick up the return product. Thereafter nothing happened. I kept emailing and calling them after every 48 hours. They would promptly email back and also call on phone saying there are sorry for the inconvenience and the product would be picked up within the next 48 hours. But even after 2 months no one has ever called at my residence to pick up the product. Its a shame that snapdeal treats the innocent customers so shabbily cheating them with promise of good support. Their phone calls and emails are all spam; since they don't mean what they promise.

Same thing happens with me also. I hv raised a return request for 2 products which i hv bought from snapdeal. After 15 days i got a mail stating thay my products failed in quality check. I called customer care and told them that products which i hv return was unused bt they didn't believe me so i hv given them many evidences that my products was unused n new as they were at the tym of delivery. when they hv no answer for my question they started giving me another reason that there is a discrepancy in my account.
I hv tried alot given thousand of reason, spend hundreds of rupees on calls on customer care wasted my tym bt at the end i hv got no resolution from there side.
Snapdeal is big fraud and they r cheating their customers.
