I bought sony bravia led hd tv 40r562c and it turned out to be a completely a defective piece. The details are:

Model name: klv-40r562c ; proudct 8d no: 18729401; and serial no: 4548025.

I lodged srs with service req id: 30974625. The service personnel from sony pranank electronics, hyderabad[protected] by name varun ( [protected]) visited and confirmed that it is a defective piece and it will not work. Im told that sony qc failed and delivered to the customer. I donot want replacement or repair and i demand total refund of my hard earned money rs. 53900/- per the invoice without further delay.

I am trying to follow up on this case with service contacts, through toll free numbers; through online chats; but my attempts to reach out for your concrete responses are failing.

I approached bajaj electronics, nizampet, hyderabad[protected] where i bought ( invoice no: nzp/15/2655 dated[protected], to my utter disappointment they are non responsive and not allowing any further communications.

Neither the seller bajaj electronics nor the service center / sony helpline are owning up for further steps on refunds. In fact bajaj electronics branch manager, ( mr. Murali : [protected]) is too rude and unprofessional attitude. They dont have even a website or forum to register complaints.

I am complaining to sony every day over emails and calls to toll free numbers. But none of them responding.. I am in a fix if i am in democratic country where some laws are governed or the govt / business colluding, making citizens to suffer like feudal countries ??

I am tired and sick of sony service.. I have bought sony 42 inch full hd led tv on jan 13th 2016 and it died by feb'16. I demanded my money back and the regional sony managers(??) in india are too rude and horrible. Their voice and responses are threatening.. Is there any leadeship in sony company who is looking into the complaints and and how they are being addressed ? Sony company has become the worst service than any other company in the world...

What should i do now?

    Hi there,

    I have complained regarding my sony ex500 32 inch model.

    Serial no. : 2347735

    Sony authorized service center, sunrise electronics, s g highway, ahmadabad, gujarat

    I had problem one year ago, i had contacted sunrise sony center, ahmadabad. After checking they gave me estimate cost of 7900 to change motherboard (Circuit board). They had changed board and i paid 7900 one year ago.

    Now i have same problem so i contacted sunrise sony center, again they have asked me to change board. The estimated cost is 8100.

    I had purchased sony products because i had believed that sony has excellent build quality and goodwill in tv products.

    But now i have absolutely different and terrified experience with sony product. I don't have words to describe how much i am shocked by sony lower grade product and parts.

    Many of friends and family members have other companies tvs, like lg, samsung, videocon etc. They haven't got any issues since years and i had to invest in parts 7900 even after paying serious premium for sony compared to other brands.

    This completely unacceptable quality for product and parts. For your information sony products quality is very lover then cheap brands like lloyd, onida etc

    I want you guys consider this issue real fast and slove in satisfactory manner. Because right now im completely unhappy with sony.

      Dear Sir,

      I purchased a Mobile, model- Sony Xperia M5 dual on 10.02.2016 from Star Teleshop against invoice No. 30861 with IMEI No.- [protected]. It was faulty piece and faced many problem like heating even within 10 minutes o[censored]sage, signaling problem & take 7-8 seconds to appear calling screen after press calling number or very hang during calling operations and another problem was that the mobile was going to off after every fifteen minutes. They suggest me to use my phone for 2-3 hours in safe mode. I also repair software from PC companion. But all in vain, problems were same as before. That day I went to retailer. He denied for replacement. I mailed to sony Xperia support as well as called and request to replace the mobile, but they refused and take in trust to say that is was only software problem not hardware issue. So I went to service center and update the mobile after updating i receive the positive feedback from mobile.

      But after one month it was not detecting network in both sim trays when I was on company visit to lucknow. After calling Xperia Support, I took that faulty piece to sony service center at Aditya Info-solutions in DaliBagh Lucknow. They told me this is hardware issue, But I permit them to sotfware update but problem was not resolved.

      I request you that I want for the same for replacement because of due to this faulty piece I miss my business meeting in Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation and loss of Rs. 4 Crore to my Firm.

      I am very upset with this phone after spend 35000/- for this junk. After reading user opinions on net, This model having great issues I request you please replace my phone. if this is faulty brand/ batch kindly upgrade it with other Model. Also recovery for loss to my firm.

      Dear Sir,

      I have mailed you all situation as per trailing mail, in respond to that, I got a call from Xperia support on 07-04-16 and said that they would change/Replace the handset after submitting this set in Xperia service center.
      I have submit the same in Xperia service center, sonipat against attached service Job Sheet.
      Xperia support promised to replace the same but today they are saying they will only repair the same and till now I cannot get my handset.

      This handset was faulty from 3rd day of purchase. I do not want to repair the same want only replacement.

      I request you, I want to file the case, please tell me detailed procedure and address of complaint center.

        I bought a sony bravia led tv in

        oct 2012.A couple of days

        back, the tv has become

        dis-colored.A complaint was

        registered.A person came from

        the service center after

        repeated calls, seen nothing, took a video and said will give

        call back for the estimation of

        the expenses. Call back was not

        made, so i have make the call and

        was told that it will take

        around rs.12000.00. When asked

        about the guarantee after the

        repair, the person said that the

        guarantee period after the
        repair is 3 months. Plz look into

        this matter when selling the

        product, the company is keeping

        the customer in darkness and

        not transparent about the

        dis-advantage. The company is

        actually deceiving the

        customer.I chose to buy the sony

        product only for the quality

        and name that it is carrying for

        so many years. I doubt, while

        repairing they are going to put a

        chinese part, if not why only a

        guarantee of 3 months be given.

          Dear sir,
          On 2014, i purchased a brand new sony xperia m dual (Imei/serial no: [protected]/32) model c2004 @ 15500 rs from bangalore. Suddenly on 01 apr 2016, while putting sim in my mobile phone i found its "sim slot 1" not working. Immediately i rush to sony service center (Indranagar), bangalore for repairing, there customer care executive told me that sim slot 1 is damaged so will repair the full assembly and will take around 07 days and approx rs 2500 for repairing work.
          There are few question of mine to sony:
          (1) once a sim slot is damage then why your engineer told me to change the whole body. Why don't you change this parts independently.
          (2) sony demands me 2500 rs for repairing 1 part only, i don't understand why sony spare parts is so costly.

            Hi sir,
            I have purchased sony m4 aqua mobile on nov 15-11-15 from snapdeal. After 3 days mobile got too much heat, automatically switch off/restarted in every 2-3 days, hanging, not able to hear voice in between calls, camera quality is too bad... And many more...

            So i called and mailed customer care and they told to do reset the phone, repair the software... So i did but again i faced same issue again i called and mailed saying still i am facing same issue.. They told u can visit service center they will fix it. I visited 6 times service center and they are not able to fix the issue. This is defect mobile piece...

            I don't want any repaired mobile since i am facing the issue from the day 3 when i bought.. So i asked new piece but they are replying saying that our concern department is working on this... Till how many days concern department is working??? This all are fake reply..

            I want money refund. I dont want any more sony product... Very bad customer service... Will it take 3 months to solve the issue??? From last 3 months i am visiting service center but no result... Dont i have any other work??? Always i will visit to service center...

            After paying 20k i am getting defect mobile piece what is the use of buying brand sony... I can get same features in 7-8k.

            I want money refund.. Now i cant believe sony..

              Phone power key creating trouble & screen is not getting on when needed.

              Took phone to service station, they informed this handset is non repairable & despite i am ready pay for repairs same cant be done.

                Bought this LED TV 4yrs back, 2 time the Display is dead. 1st time happened they asked me to pay 14000/- to get this replaced. After getting the right Bill and they made it in warranty. Now again its gone and i wanted to pay 15000/- to get it replaced.

                I bought Sony for 1 reason, QUALITY. 2 time in 4yrs Display gone. now see the quality of their product.

                      Your authorized dealers Sai Electronic at Faridabad, Haryana have some highly unprofessional staff and call people in very rude manner to the desk, also the machine which generates receipts is functional but they don't call you as per that, random customers come and straight away go to their desks and they entertain them, when asked why is it happening the reply is that the screen showing receipt numbers isn't working, the most amazing thing is that another girl on another desk is asking customers to take receipts from that machine only, height of coordination, when confronted the executive told me to come after another guy who had come some 30 mts after me. Sony dealers are pathetic in working style and highly unprofessional, I will never ever buy a Sony product again.

                        I had purchased DSC-RX 100 Camera 2 yrs back, as per guarantee it was till Feb and camera got corrupted in March, I had given if for servicing last week and they said there was problem with CCD connector, they have cleaned and given, but after 3 days same issue is there.

                        Today I had gone for servicing again, they dais that they need to change CCD and new one will cost 7000.00, which is 25% of the camera cost. Also the guarantee on that is only 3 months. I have had the bitter experience earlier also with servicing with sony. Although the products are good, if it comes to servicing its not worth to get it serviced. Slowly the reputation of Sony will be down with these kind of issues. When it comes to customer care, many brands are offering better cost with high standard of service.

                        Why would any one spend 7000 again for servicing when there is no guarantee of how much time it comes. I am regular buyer of sony product and with continuous bad experience when it comes to service and with such high cost of servicing, I am doubt full whether I will ever buy sony products.
                        And would never recommend any one to buy.

                        And being in retail Industry with large chain of stores, I know better how the industry works. If you want real experience you visit our brands showrooms.

                          I bought Sony LED TV on April 2015, I complained to customer care regarding black dot in my screen at October 2015. After many followups, finally Technician visited after two months and found one mosquito inside and he said it went in during Manufacturing. So he took pictures and he said he will replace with new panel. After 10 days, he came with panel and replaced. When he left, i saw some black shades in different region of screen. Again I called customer care, the same story technician visited - picture - new panel replacement - after replacement again black shades.

                          Now again technician is saying he will bring new panel, I am not at all satisfied with their service, every time i have waste my one hr time with them to hear the same story. I lost my confidence in Sony service and their commitment of new panel. How in the world all three new replacement panel are faulty. I assume they are not new, probably refurbished one.

                            I have purchased sony bravia tv from dubai, model: klv-32cx320. Job:j60562188. I have been following up with sony since a month now and for my surprise i have been told that the display panel is not available with the company. The quality of the product what sony is manufacturing is very poor and being such a huge company they don't have their spare parts available. It is difficult for a common man to buy such expensive tv frequently.
                            I have received a revert from the company that they will give me 25% discount on fresh purchase of new bravia series on mrp. Everyone is aware that bravia series is one of the most expensive series of sony. The company will take my tv and give 25% discount. This is a bad offer as any other vendor, seller or online companies provide similar discounts and have better offers then this.
                            1. Why should i buy sony tv again.
                            2. The quality of the product is poor
                            3. The company doesn't have spare parts of its own manufactured product.

                            I need 50% discount or a refund of the product. Sony is just cheating the customers by selling poor quality products.
                            I have written several emails to the customer care of the company, but they haven't reverted. I shall wait for some time or else i will file a case against the company and approach consumer forum as its cheating from their end.

                                    I contacted Sony Customer care centre on 27.3.2016 at 9.30AM and requested for sending the tecnical perosn and told that the TV is in Warranty and I have Warranty Service Coupon. He was not willing to send the service person and he simply disconnected.

                                    It is very hurting to get this type of response from the Sony personnel.

                                      I own Sony Xperia z5 premium dual. USB Cable of my charger was not working since a while and that's why when I came to chennai for a trip I gave my USB cable to Sony service center placed at prince plaza, pantheon road. I gave them my USB cable yesterday and also reminded them that I would be leaving chennai by Saturday night so that they can return me my belonging within the scheduled time. They even accepted to do so. And today morning when I called they told me to come by 5.00 pm and certainly I went there but when I went there they said my USB didn't arrive and thus I had to cancel my order. This is the most ridiculous and unexpected service I have received from any company. I expect a strict action to be taken against it or a new USB cable to be sent to my address.

                                        I purchased sony led tv from ezone, mani sqaure, kolkata in january 2014 which was delivered to me on 01/02/2014 but it was installed after 4 months. Around 15 days before the tv screen started showing only 50% of the screen and the rest of the screen blank. We were shocked to see that a product of sony's stable has a manufacturing defect and withing two yrs only the product had problems. We showed it to a sony personnel and he told that led defect is there and it would cost around rs.15000/- to get it repaired. Does it make any sense to pay this much for just repairing it. What is the guarantee that it would not happen again. It would be better if we buy a new tv from some other company whose product doesnt have problems in 2 yrs.
