I had placed order for 2 white shirts online. This was
supposed to be delivered on 3-Mar-2016 but after
complaining, the same was delivered on 12-Mar-2016.
The delivery status was updated on 13-Mar-2016. I
found that they had sent me 2 used, old, dirty, torn
shirt instead of new fresh product. I had immediately
called the customer care on 11-Mar-2016 for the
return of the product. They had sent me a link by
email and also by sms. Later every time the customer
care over phone could not find any return request and
had sent me the same email and sms. Later I learnt
that the return button was not activated. Finally the
return request could be filed on 16-Mar-2016. Every
time I updated my query on the portal I received
standard reply : "This is to inform you that your
concern is being taken care of in another ticket
number. Hence, to avoid further confusion and miss-
communication, we are closing this duplicate ticket.
You will soon be contacted regarding further
proceedings". I had to communicate many times (may
be over 50 times) over mail but all in vain, every time I
received the aforesaid standard reply.
Today, 21-Mar-2016 I again called the customer care
and a lady said that since I have selected "quality" as
my reason for the return and since the refund request
was raised beyond 2 days the refund will not be
possible. I have communicated or expressed my
dissatisfaction since 11-Mar-2016, the day I received
the product, but now they have come up with a new
clause. They do not have an appropriate return reason
in the drop down where I could select the next best
option when they are selling used old dirty torn
products. I have kept the bill, packing as sent to me.
Sony India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
