I had ordered a sony TV Adapter for my Sony LED TV, Model no -
KDL-42W650A. I had transferred half of the money(Rs 2400) as advance to TELECARE on 28th jan 2016. Its been more than 1 month but the adapter has not been delivered.Every time I make an enquiry they tell me that adapter is not in stock.


This is a serious breach of trust from a brand such as Sony.I am a huge Sony Fan but i feel really let down by your shoddy service.

    Hi,
    We had purchased the sony bravia 32 inch LCD approx-27k in March 2012 in vashi. Immediately withing one year we started to face problem on screen due to defective panel luckily as tv was in warranty period the panel was replaced without cost and we paid more and got an extended warranty.However the warranty expired on May 2015 and yesterday that is 6th march 2016 my i am again facing issues with my tv screen and now it looks like it will cost me approx 12000/-. Why should changed it and not buy a better led like LG. This is the most disappointing service and not expected from brands like sony. we consumers blindly buy products assuming big brands like sony will have only best quality products but such incidents (repetitive) are a slap to stupid consumers like us. Now i urge you to either look into this issue of repetitive faulty pieces or i will have to take matters to consumer court as well make sure me and anyone related to me will not buy any sony product hence forward.

      I purchased sony xperia zr around 17 dec 2014for rs 17500, few days back ie 29th feb 2016. I experienced that my phone's earpiece was not at all working .So i went to service center of sony in malad east mumbai on 1st march 2016.They said phone cant be repaired and you need to replace it .I called customer care to confirm the same .Later on they charged me rs 115 and said i need to submit the cellphone and they will provide me a re fabricated mobile and i will have to purchase that for 67% of mrp and the phone will have 90 days warranty .Now i want to know if mobile is not repaired how can they provide me re fabricated phone and also earpiece hardly cost rs 1000 for which i have to pay rs 10000 and it is simply sony trick to sell their faulty product and sustain in market .Since sony mobile is dying from market it is a unethical way they found out to loot from our Indian market and make fool o[censored]s Indian. I request all people not to purchase sony device they are all faulty product and their after sale service is worst .I want sony to repair the phone or refund atleast rs 10000 in lieu of phone

        I purchased a xperia z ultra online and it worked well for almost 10 months and then i got a charging problem for which i approached sony customer care centre and they got my cell replacedafter 3 days of replacement it got cracked in my pocket and then i went again to them.now they are refusing to replace my cell again though i''m ready to pay for it.they are saying that my handset's imei number is in misplace.

          I have purchased a Sony smart mobile 2 years back, it suddenly got charging complaints.Later after that my mobile back panel started bulging.As the battery was inbuilt, i have thought that there is problem with in the battery .So i took my mobile to all my nearest services center, every where I got a same answer that battery replacement may take minimum 10 days.So I took the main service center address and submitted my mobile there for repair.On the day when they took the mobile for repair they said we'll inform you what's the estimation cost of repair by next day .But they complaint regarding my mobile was created by them on the next day of my submission.They are very much irresponsible for the clients who kept at most trust in authorized services provided by the company.So please take some precautionary measures to get the services done in time for the time at least which they estimated.

            Phone is not functioning. Authrorized service center responsed as "repair is not possible, only can replace". This was not told to me while buying product. When contacted the helpline email/contact, their satisfactory response is still awaited which was supposed to be delivered within 48hrs. (72hrs already over)
            Sony India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
            Please rethink while buying Sony phones as the surprise facts after sales are quite annoying.

              Hi,

              I bought SONY LED TV ( KD-55x9004A) in 12/10/2013.
              The warranty support of the TV is finished, so the complain is about the standard support provided by SONY Support in India.
              Sometimes around end of Oct 2015, the TV screens started showing vertical colored lines, instead of picture. Tried to switch off TV, power cycle TV but nothing worked. Kept TV switched off for 2-3 days. After I switched TV on again, it started working for 2 weeks. Although sometimes I would also get lines, but then switch off and switch on would fix the problem.
              Unfortunately on 1st Jan 2016, it showed the similar issue and unable to show picture. And since then the issue was persistent, till I kept the TV switched off again for nearly 10 days. Again I switched on the TV and it started working for a while but then again started showing colored lines and no pictures.
              For getting the issue fixed, I first raised complain with SONY India, with Ref. J53254147 and Tech Ref[protected]. I had requested the service support to send a person who can at least do some initial level of diagnosis to let me know what's going wrong and the solution to fix.
              Its sad to mention, the support engineer, without even opening the TV and diagnosing the issue mentioned to me that the issue can only be fixed by replacing the screen. I asked him as to what made him getting to this conclusion, he had no clear response rather just said SONY India, doesn't not allow to fix, rather replace. He opened the TV only to take pictures of the internal parts. One fine day I got a call from SONY Support mentioning it might cost around 1.25L to fix the screen. Again there was no written such communication as to what has been diagnosed and what's the issue was, but have a solution to replace TV screen. In the meanwhile, as mentioned before, TV started working again and when I called up the SONY Support, they said they will look into it if the problem comes again.
              After getting no resolution to the issue, I raised again complain, and this time in a written mail to sonyindia.[protected]@ap.sony.com. This time I send all the photos of issues before, after, middle and even small video as to how TV started working again after keeping it off for sometime. I was given a complained no[protected], I was called back by SONY support, and iterating the same story, but again no answers to what exactly is the problem and why should I replace the entire screen, if the screen is working fine. After this I raised the complain twice through their email, but no written email response to my concerns.
              Now this is the complain I need to raise, as the issue has so far been taken for granted.
              1. First of all, noone has done any diagnostics on the TV to exactly know what is the issue.
              2. TV has not even been taken to site for the diagnosis, just by looking at the screen the answer was given the replace the entire screen, easy job for SONY support but a huge investment for me, for which I had already paid 3.10 L to purchase. Is there any value for such huge investment if it doesn't even work for 3 years itself?
              3. I do not understand the logic of LED screen issue (Panel), as if this is the problem then how TV screen is working fine after keeping it powered off for few days. Even today when I am writing this mail, again it has started working after keeping it off for a week. I am sure after few hours or days of run it will show the similar verticle lines.
              4. HAD the LED screen been the problem, TV would never had worked ( even if for few hours). So as such no real problem with the screen ( unless confirmed to me), but appears some register/capacitor/transistor failure in the attached circuit to the screen, rather than whole LED screen. All is in all, what I am not able to get convinced how can SONY Support give me such a costly solution of replacement of entire LED panel, where the problem lies somewhere else? Also without even getting into some level of diagnosis and letting customer know what has gone wrong.
              5. Screen has neither broken, not exposed to water or any other cause. So if the reason said to be replacement of screen, then I should as a consumer know what has caused this? And if its really a screen issue.

              I request you to help me getting this to some resolution, which is more justified and acceptable. So far with multiple case reported with Sony, I am getting only one response from them to replace the LED panel which is expected to cost me around 1.2-1.5 Lakh, which certainly doesn't justify the fixing the issue.

              No response from the complaint yet. This is what had been their support, a pathetic support services and moreover no response to the concerns raised.
              Hi I wanted to know if you have received any resloution to your problem.
              we have the exact same tv and are facing the exact problem. I personally belive this is a manufacturing defect on sony's part.
              No response. They have fooling customers by selling out products without providing any professional support/repair services, once you go out of warranty. Their support services are pathetic. I had been fan of SONY products, that compelled me to buy this product. But now I regret on my decision. For others, please don't just go with SONY brand name, make sure you are covered, and can enjoy services from SONY only if you keep paying them for extended warranty or covered under insurance. Once warranty is gone, and if some problem arise, either pay almost the same price of the TV you bought or through it away and imagine if you are asked to take this decision for a TV costing you 3.15L.

                COMPLAINT STILL NOT RESOLVED AS ON 2ND MARCH 2016 DESPITE REMINDERS

                This is to place on record the following:
                1. The captioned product developed "Colour Intermixing" for which service request was logged in on your Tollfree
                No.
                2. Technician from Sri Sai Electronics, Navi Mumbai visited, inspected and found a problem in the mother board
                and took the same for repairs.
                3. The Technician came back with the repaired mother board and an invoice for around Rs.2600/towards
                replacement of choke coils on the mother board.
                4. The technician installed the repaired mother board back in place and when the TV was turned on, the problem
                of "Colour Intermixing" was found to be corrected, but now the picture quality was found to be bad with prominent
                horizontal lines/bands across the entire screen which were not there before removal of the mother board. The
                Technician also agreed that during his previous inspection the lines were not there and only colour intermixing
                was there, therefore he had mentioned only colour intermixing on his Sevices Job Sheet, and that had the lines
                on the screen been there earlier, he would have mentioned that also on the Job Sheet.
                5. Therefore, it was very clear that something has gone wrong either because of the "repaired" mother board or
                because of the improper handling of my TV set by the Technician during removal and reinstallation
                of the
                mother board. His method of handling the TV was not careful enough and despite telling him, he was working on
                the TV holding it upsidedown.
                6. The Technician immediately said that this is a new problem for which the "Display" has to be changed at a
                cost of around Rs.26000/.
                He then spoke to his "Service Centre Head" who also was prompt in saying the same
                thing. We realized that their attitude was to try and put the entire blame on us saying that the problem was there
                before and therefore they are not responsible and that we have to pay Rs.26000/.
                We found the entire thing very
                very suspicious and the attitude of the Service Centre Head very arrogant and suspicious in saying "it is not our
                fault, and we don't need to check anything further we
                know it is a fault in your display which was there before
                removal of the mother board and therefore pay us Rs.26000/and
                we will replace the display". We found the
                behaviour 'full of a cheating attitude' which is unlike Sony, which we never expected from anybody associated
                with Sony. It appeared very deliberate. The Technician agreed that the lines/bands were not there earlier and
                appeared only after the repaired mother board was installed.
                6. I immediately spoke to your Tollfree
                No. and the call was transferred to one Mr. Amar in the Status Dept. who
                spoke for about 30 minutes with me and then with the Technician and asked the Technician to remove the
                mother board and take it back and confirmed to me that he has documented this development and my complaint
                against the Service Centre, and within 48 hours someone senior from your setup will speak to me, and looking at
                the doubtful intentions of Sri Sai Electronics, some other senior technical person will be asked to investigate.
                7. However, yesterday I was surprised to get a call from a back office staff of Sri Sai Electronics saying that the
                estimate for around Rs.28000/is
                ready. I called back your Tollfree
                number again and spoke to the Status dept.
                when Mr. Jai told me that nothing has been documented by Mr. Amar and therefore no further action has been
                taken. This was the second surprise of the day. I therefore requested him to document the development and
                escalate the matter to a responsible person in your Setup.
                He said I will get a call back from a responsible
                person, but I have not received any call back yet.
                8. I am therefore placing the entire episode on record, and placing on record that the intention of the Service
                Centre is to cheat and your personnel handling the Tollfree
                set up are hand in gloves trying
                to help them.

                  Hi Team,

                  I had bought a Sony Bravia 43 inch android TV (43W800C) on the 30th October, 2015 after a lot of soul searching. I invested in Sony believing in its brand value and product durability.

                  It is with great pain I report to you that I have been hoodwinked into buying a faulty LED panel. After only 3.5 months of service, the TV started showing lines on the screen. Having raised a complaint on Sunday (28th February, 2016), a service engineer came and suggested us to get the LED panel replaced (job sheet attached).

                  Going by the pathetic condition of the LED panel, I have no faith in the replacement panel and its process.

                  Being an ardent customer of Sony and having bought so many products, this situation has created a bitter taste for Sony. I would request you to provide a completely new TV unit instead of any replacement part.

                    This is in regards to Sony Handset which i gave it for repairing to C com telecommunications Thane Mumbai. The mobile handset was submitted on 6th Feb'16 for Microphone & camera issue. I deposited the repair charges in the Account provided well in time. on 19th Feb'16 i got a call from service center, the phone is ready & i can collect the same, after some time again they called me and said the mobile has not passed the quality test, so they are sending it again for repair. From 22nd Feb'16 iam following up with the service center & call center, but iam not getting any proper feedback. Mr. Sagar Bhilare (Area Manager) promised me to deliver the handset by Friday, But he didn't kept his promise. Again he promised to deliver that i will get my handset on Saturday & service center will call me. But again the same response no call from service center neither from Sagar. This is the Pathetic service which i have seen in my life. On Saturday evening when i called Sony customer care, they told me to get the handset my Monday(29th Feb). Few minutes back i got a call from C com telecommunication, and now they are saying that parts has been received by us & handset will be repaired and delivered to you after 3 days.
                    WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON !!!. Is this type of service you Sony provides?????
                    The C Com telecommunication staff is very irresponsible, they never attend the call nor provided the correct information. This is the last time iam using any Sony product, will make sure that no one in my circle use the Sony product.

                      It is just irritating. I purchased don't w80c Sony TV on 21 Feb.they they have given offer for Airtel DTH HD.i chosen that option.but it was just frustrating and irritating, it took 4 days for your service personal to install airtel DTH.but instead of HD they installed SD.many times I called your representative...but it is just useless.in fact they have taken 350 rupees extra. I am waiting still

                        I am from panjim Goa state. I have visited u r dealer showroom today to buy a 24" TV. I think u r dealer forgot about customer service, u know the way the speak...!! It was like why did u come to my showroom...??? When I said let me finalise, and get back, dealer staff said, before finalise why did u come..?? So I felt really bad, abt Sony service. ( may be from dealer). Simply I walk out N bought Samsung 24" J4100. Which is similar N given best service. Though They are delivering N installing product, post 48hrs, but still m happy with the way they present.

                            Repair of sony xperia z5 dual
                            My xperia z5 dual fell down on road on 5th day from date of purchase and it back panel(Glass) got broken. I submitted my handset to the sony service center at gurgoan, my phone was working totally fine, no issue with display, speakers, etc. But from starting i observed little heating when camera application is running. I reported this also to them. They told me that they will do diagnosis and will inform me about the estimated cost of repair.
                            On second day, they called me with estimation i.E., of rs 16000(Approx). I was shocked with this amount, as only the back panel was broken, but they told me that display is also damaged. Later they agreed display is not damaged but the chrome(Side body) was having dent so they are changing the display.
                            Later i managed to convince them not to change my display and give me estimation for back panel only. Next they told me camera also needs to be changed and total cost would be rs 5000(Approx.) then i asked why are they charging me for camera, they replied heating issue is caused by falling of my phone, which is impossible and i knew it from start that's why reported to them promptly.

                            They almost took 20 days and still my phone is with them and they are asking me to wait for 1-2 weeks more.

                            This is really poor service and they try to pull more and more from you, if phone is not under warranty.

                              I purchased Experia Z1 handset on 4th may 2015. within around 4 months handset started creating
                              problem(hanging Problem). handset was given to SONY service center, Jaipur and same was repaired and given back
                              to me.
                              then again due to hanging issue, touch issue etc etc(list is endless) Refer job no W[protected] dated
                              1 Feb 2016. i got my handset back after 15 days i.e. on 16th Feb.
                              after i received my handset i again observe same issue and i handed over my handset to SONY repair centre, Jaipur.
                              refer job no W[protected] dated 18th feb. till date i have not received my handset again. During this period i have suffered a lot of.

                                20days before I have complained about my tv screen as it shows only white screen, on 15/02/2016 screen panel got changed... and from last two days it creating problem like half screen working n half not working...
                                Pls take strict action on it...

                                  Panel Issue
                                  We have purchased the Sony Bravia in Apr 2015.Suddenly the TV started giving problems where the TV doesn't switch.
                                  The engineer confirmed that the issue is with Panel on the 29th January 2016. He confirmed that the TV will be repaired and sent back with 7 days. When that did not happen there was no update from Sony informing us about the delay.
                                  I called up the customer service team and spoke to Himanshu on 6th Feb 2016. He said that the SLA for repair is 7-10 working days. I asked if I can get my TV replaced, as this is within the warranty period. He promised me a call back on following Monday that is 8th Feb 2016, which was lie.
                                  I called up again on Monday asking for him, where I received a bunch of lies. I had Mr. Jay telling me Himanshu is in meeting, Mr. Tyagi telling me that Himanshu was on a 2 day leave. A team leader of Sony customer service center lies to the customer promising a call back even though he knew he was on leave.
                                  I spoke to another team leader and again promised a call back which did not happen.
                                  Meanwhile a person from the service center comes home and deliver a spare TV and promised that our TV will be repaired the following Monday - 15/02/2016.
                                  There was no update from any of the representatives of Sony. I called to check the status of my TV on the[protected], that is when I was informed that the part will only be available at the Service center on 22nd. After which the TV will be repaired. I refused to wait ay longer as the SLA for repair and gone past many days. I insisted on a replacement of TV. I had spoken to Ketan from the Service center. He told me that for the replacement TV, he would need the invoice of the purchase. Once he receives the same it will take 7-10 for the replaced TV to be delivered. Immediately the next day there was replaced panel that had arrived without any knowledge. As I was promised a replaced TV, I rejected the Panel. I also spoke to Sayed who is the manager of the service center. Even he assured me that he will look into the matter which was again a false promise never fulfilled.
                                  Now the Service Center claims that the head office has rejected the request. They refuse to give me the telephone contact number for head office. All they say is that Sony company has mailed me twice.
                                  Today that is[protected], I am still without a TV, I don have any update about the status of the same. I called up the customer center to get the head office number, they refused saying 'we cant give you the number'. I called up the service center, they only say that head office has sent me a mail twice, but ironically I have never received even a single mail from Sony. I requested them the head office number. They said the customer service will provide the same.
                                  I was a loyal customer to Samsung and it appears I made big mistake shifting to Sony I was promised a replacement TV but that was never delivered.
                                  Today, after paying thousands for the product, I don't have a TV, I don't have a representative who give me any update. I am not allowed to contact the head office. All that is told is I have been sent mails from the head office but I never see the mails in my inbox.
                                  Sony as company is a 'Thug'. They only know how to con people by luring them with features and provoking people to buy their products. Products that don't work for even a year. and icing on the cake is, there is no after sales service. Sony hires bunch of liars who keep giving false promises and help the company to continue their fraud activities.

                                    I am writing to you in good faith. I have been a loyal Sony customer for last 25 years Over the years I have purchased SO MANY products from Sony, Professional, prosumer and consumer, Broadcast cameras and tape decks, Beta and SP and digital. Computers, TV's analog and digital, telephones, Stereos and mp3 players. The costs have been astounding for the products themselves but more so for support and upkeep. Sony WAS the brand to buy for professional equipment there was no other choice in the past. I used beta when it first came out. I also had products shipped directly to me from Japan because it was the most efficient way to get newer products. I learned that Sony was usually a BIT more expensive than other brands but it is because the quality was better even and have always been perfectly satisfied and happy with my purchase. This is the first time something like this has happened with one of your products and I intended to let you know

                                    I have purchased a Sony Alpha mount lens 50mm with serial number 2004509 model number SAL50F18//C AE from India in the month of September 2015

                                    Unfortunately, the item does not function at all in Auto focus mode, I have read through all the details within the accompanying instruction manual as well as worked through the various trouble shooting methods but it seems that the lens simply is a faulty product.

                                    I have reached out to your Sony India Team for a replacement of the product with a new one but Unfortunately Team Sony (India) has not yet resolved the problem satisfactorily all I got as a response is some phone calls assuring
                                    me that my claim would be looked upon by competent authority.

                                    I have Sony Camera accessories worth 600000 INR most of them being purchased from United kingdom I am satisfied with each of them other than the this particular lens purchased from India. I do understand failure may happen in some rare case but what hurts me more is the reluctant nature of Sony India Customer Service to resolve costumer's problem.

                                    I am writing to you to intervene and help me to get a replacement of the faulty product (not repaired). This is not for I have spent 7999 INR in the faulty product but to keep my faith in one of the world best Brand.

                                    Looking forward to hear from you in this regard.

                                      I need to address my issue I purchased Sony mobile Aqua A4 on 15th August 2015 from Faridabad. After few days phone showing problem "Hanging, Overheating & Camera error issue" & submitted mobile 3 time for repair in Faridabad service center. Every time they have changed the mother board & some other parts but after 2-3 days same problem, so raised a request to customer care that to refund my money but they denied to refund. Ur intervene required to resolve issue.
                                      Also I have not taken back my mobile from the service center from November & no one is contacting me.

                                        I have bought your sony walkman on 2nd feb 2016. In your this new walkman series you have given one new socket for charging & uploading songs in the walkman. On my first use only after uploading songs in it when i tried to take out walkman from that socket it broked one of its headphone as its very tiight locks in it. now ur company is not repalcing it nor repairing it. i m totally sony brand user my phone television & MANY OTHER things are of sony brand but really felt bad with ur response to my problem.
