​I purchased ​​Sony Bravia ​LCD ​TV (Model number: KLV-40W450A IN5) on 14-June-2009 for 1, 04, 000.00 INR (Bill attached).
There was a problem with the TV & a complaint was done for the same on 13-Dec-2015 (ID No:[protected]. For repair, Sony gave an estimate of 15930.00 INR on 18-Dec-2015. This was on a very high side but with no choice, we agreed to pay that amount. But the problem doesn't end here. Person who came to repair the TV took the TV along with him & since then we have received two revised estimates:
- 2nd estimate on 54202.00 on 02-Jan-2016
- 3rd estimate on 54888.00 on 20-Jan-2016 (with demand of 35937.00 INR - 33% of the initial MRP of TV)

Current cost of new TV is less than the repair cost estimated by Sony. In a few year's time, cost of TV is depreciated to less than 30% & moreover we are unable to get the justifiable estimate for TV repair. Now, i am without a TV for last 2 months Sony customer care is least bothered.

This has been a very disappointing experience. I was hoping for much better services from such a respectable and trusted brand.

I request you to either provide a justifiable estimate for TV repair or provide a substantial discount (on behalf of my old TV) for purchase of a new Sony LED TV.

Being a loyal Sony customer, i request you to take immediate action to re-establish my faith in Sony brand.

    I purchased a TV Model No KDL-40EX710IN5 from Dubai in the year 2011, last week this TV started giving some problem (e.i – Picture was going off in HDMI and AV mode) i called in your toll free No and registered the complain and from your call centre it was forwarded to your authorised service centre C.P.Enterprise and was informed that they will visit in 24hrs and I have to pay a servicing charge of RS 750 after knowing my TV model no. I received a call next day and the person asked me about the problem and asked me to bring the TV to their service centre. Next day I took it to their centre and explained them all about my problem and from were I have purchased it. They asked me for the cash memo which I told I will give them latter and as I knew that my TV was not covered under any warranty so I told them I will pay the charges. After 3 days they called me and said that some part is damaged and I have to pay 12500 approx for the parts and to order that part they require a advance of 5000 which I deposited and they also told me that the parts will come in 10 to 15 days as they don’t have ready stock and if the company is not able to give the parts then the company might replace the TV with a new one. But after some days I receive a call that the parts is not available and the company will give 25% discount on any set which I chose to purchase. I asked them to give me these things in writing but they refused and I also told them that as per my knowledge if the company is not able to give the damage part for the product purchased within 5 years then they have to replace it.
    I just want to know from you how you can help me and what I should do.

      Hi i purchase a mobile in July-2015. when i start using the phone then i checked that my phone memory is going to full because i load some apps . but when i moved the apps in memory card then i checked that memory card apps is hide its not showing in the mobile. i think that might be memory card not supporting . then i purchased new memory card again same issue i found . after 2 days i went to the mobile shop pooja world from where i bought the mobile phone. he said that pls contact Sony customer care. but unfotunetly i got transfer to kolkota then i went to Sony service center. they said this is software issue pls submit ur mobile we will update the mobile. after 2 hours i received my mobile. but when i checked my mobile again its same issue then i show the engineer who is seating their . they are submitted again my phone and after 2 days i again received my mobile but issue is not resolve. what kind of engineer Sony care they dont know how to repair the mobile or sole the complaint. i already used the Samsung mobile 1st time i have tried the Sony mobile very bad experience . pls change my mobile or refund my money. my mobile model no-E-2115, IMEI no- 1:[protected], IMEI-2:[protected],

          Dear sir,
          i have purchase one LCD t.v model no. KDL-42W700B. serial no. 3280533.dt. warranty valid up to jul-2015 from gala & sons electronics.malad (west). mumbai-64.
          a compliant was the Sony co. and come to engineer and told me display problem . the display charge are 32000/- Rs. so charges are costly
          LCD t.v purchases are 61000/- Rs.the display charge 32000/- Rs. than second t.v comes to price .
          as Sony is the leading well known reputed brand name in electronics market. we buy Sony product because Sony is the name of trust quality services. and in same the way .i have trusted the Sony for its high quality product customers satisfactions oriented approach .
          kindly guide and provide the inappropriate insulation so i waiting for the appropriate action.
          plz request the minimum charges there .

            I had issue with my 46 inch sony bravia tv bought in US in 2011. Obviously I did not had my warranty on. But my complaint for repair was taken by Sony customer service 14 jan and was routed to metal tech andheri mumbai service center. Initially when they analysed issue, they conveyed, motherboard need to be replaced and had to be ordered with expense around RS11246. Now they coming back and giving me an offer of new tv with 25 % off as they are not getting board now. This is not acceptable solutions for me and I am completely disappointed that sony could not get hold of 4 year old brand tv parts. This tv is not physically damaged for any reason but as electronic part which can understand its failure over the time but how come motherboard can be down so early which raises question on quality products of sony. On top of that sony repair service seems to be very casual on customers and their money. Very disappointing..

              Hai,

              I have bought a SONY LCD Model no KDL-32W670A on 04.06.2015.During the recent floods in Chennai on 2nd Dec 2015 my TV got affected after the water receded I noticed water droplet inside the TV. I immediately placed a complaint with the customer care on 08.12.2015 which complaint no[protected].The call was forwarded to Chennai region. I informed them that the TV was affected during Flood Mr.Vijayan visited my premises on 12.12.2015 as soon as he visited he told that I cannot avail any warranty on this TV as it was purchased in Qatar. Then I showed the warranty card & other details he said that the warranty can be availed. It was shocking for me as your service person had no idea about international warranty offered by SONY .Mr.Vijayan Without proper inspection & justification at 1st site when a person from a reputed service center he expressed his opinion like this. Then he inspected properly and he told that everything is ok where I can switch on the TV immediately as there is no problem. In my presence he switched on the TV that day itself and added he said that the water seepage automatically will get dry if I place it in the sun light for some time. He never told me to change the panel board, nowhere it was recorded in Complaint log sheet or complaint receipt during his visit. The same thing can be verified by you with your internal records.
              Though I shocked by this irresponsible answer but due to his hurry I paid the service charge Rs 225 /-(bill enclosed) sent him & as my remote was also affected I asked for a replacement from him and he told me to call on next day. But there was no response for the same & I didn’t get any proper response even for the remote replacement and the request was placed on 08.12.2015. While asking about the remote I enquired the same person about my TV as it whether I can switch it on as I have dried it in the sun for the past 4 days. But to my surprise he told that bring TV to the service center & get the board changed which cost Rs15, 000/-. If the TV board needs to be changed he should have told me the same day instead of telling everything is OK in person of telling the board should be changed after 2 days. Is this the type of customer service expected from SONY? I really wonder whether the person who came to service was a proper technical person or Some NON Technical person. I am really disappointing by this callous attitude from your service person.

              Due to my ill health for about 3 weeks I was not able to follow up on that work for some time. So I again registered a Complaint with your Customer care on the date 11.01.2016 for the same issue of the complaint no is 30128089 .The next day your ( local Chennai region service center – Chennai services ) person called me & told that will send the concerned person to my premises but no one turned up. So I personally visited the service center on 19.01.2016 for getting a new remote & follow up on the previous complaint .They advised me to bring my TV to service center & get to inspected. As advised I took the TV to the service center in WEST TAMBARAM CHENNAI SERVICES on 21.01.2016. After inspecting the TV Service people were asking me to change the panel which will be costing around Rs13, 500/-.when I said that my TV got affected on DEC 2nd. Then immediately they asked me that why you did not bring the TV to service center immediately that day itself as the problem have been solved at a low cost of Rs 500/-. I am really worried & hurt by this poor customer service as due to your service person’s knowledge of irresponsible attitude now you have made me to spend around Rs13, 500/- for a thing which could have been rectified at a Lowest cost of Rs 500 /-. As told by your service center this is extra cost cannot be bared by me & it is totally not acceptable as it is due to your poor service. I seriously look forward to getting this complaint resolved at the earliest as you would have understood by now that for no fault of mine I am made to spend such a huge amount as the same could have rectified way cheaper if a proper person would have attended the complaint .Looking for a favorable response at the earliest.

                  I am Shailendra Chauhan, I Recently Purchased Sony xperia z3 from Flipkart .
                  The Item does not function properly . In a last 9-10 Months I have surrendered it in Sony service center 3 Times .

                  First Time speaker was not working properly and second time Wi-Fi single was not getting so they just changed PCB .
                  Now this is 3rd time and I am getting the network problem and the same part Changed again.

                  I am chasing the Sony support for the resolution From Jan. 11 to till date every time they told me that we will solve your problem with in 48 Hours. At the end after repeated followup on mail and verbal communication they told me that they will not replace my phone.

                  I told him that it is under warranty and the cost of the part is more than half of total cost of Mobile . I already him that phone warranty expired within 2-3 Months so I am not able to replace this part from my pocket if the same problem occur again.

                  When I asked to concern service center regarding replacement they told me that it is not our work and you should ask to customer care. When I am asking to your customer care they told me that we only handle the software part so you should ask to service center and they will raise the issue of replacement.

                  Now at the end i am coming here . Kindly help me regarding this . All necessary document attached for the reference

                    At the time of tv booking on pongal offer the executive has committed sony power bank they me book the order on 14/01/2016

                    After verification they have come and delivered the TV @ my home but the offer sony power bank not given .

                    But we check outside still the offer available for the sony TV

                      I purchased this full HD LED smart tv in Oct.2013, but when I try to view any movie from my pen drive, tv gets hanged and do not support and play the movie, whereas at the time of purchase I was assured that this model supports all formats of videos / movies. Even the manual provided with my tv also enlist almost all formats of videos. I made several complaints to customer care but my problem could not be resolved. The customer care officials are now saying that this model supports only few particular formats of videos only. But in spite of all efforts I am unable to enjoy videos through my pen drive on my tv, which is giving me the feeling of being cheated after investing a good price on such a reputed brand.

                            I purchased Xperia C3 mobile. I am facing camera problem and called to customer care they told me to go service center, I went their simply they are telling that software was not supporting for camera their was no alternative they r telling. Please don't purchase any Sony mobile. I[censored] guys purchase Sony mobiles it just like China sets. Basically I am fan of Sony movies then also I decide to tell this. Please lesson my words.

                              I had procured Sony Vaio lap top, model name:SVF14212SNW IN5 & ST. No:0011252 dated on 25/11/2015 along with 2 years extended warranty. But sir, when i was step down at your authorized service center at Indiranagar, Bengaluru, they told me that the extended warranty is not update so they can't service the lap top. After that i immidate come to my retailer & inform that the retailer had already taken Rs 999/- & have me the cash memo. Retailer told mePl wait they soon uploaded. But till data I have not get the result.                                 1) I purchased Xperia Z2 from Anjul Impex, 523-A, Ambedkar Road, Opp-Axis Bank, Ghaziabad (U.P).

                                2) I got warranty of one year on the same but after using it for less than a week its battery got puffed. So Sony service centre Ghaziabad replaced my handset with Xperia Z3 (IMEI No. [protected]) 20.02.2015 dated (Copy enclosed of Bill) on dated 20.02.2015, but after using it only 3 months, its ringer got burst & not gave proper sound, when i contacted Sony service centre at R.N-Goel & Sons Pvt. Ltd. "523A, Ambedkar Road, Opp. Axis Bank, Ghaziabad-201001, Uttar Pradesh" +91-[protected] they told me that it will be send to Sony centre and will be open forcefully by tools like knife & some other tools like that and company doesn't have a policy to give new phone to customer in exchange of that. But after requesting them several times they replaced my Xperia z3 with a brand new Xperia z3 handset. New phone which i got again start creating same problem (Ringer Problem, Speaker Problem, Network Issue, Hanging Problem). So i again put my device into service twice in the month of September, 2015.

                                3) After requesting to Sony service centre at Ambedkar road, Ghaziabad. Firstly the way they talk was very rude and they told me that my handset will be upgraded to Sony Xperia Z3+ (Box price 53000/- but available at Sony centre at Rs 40000/- only) by paying 1000 Rs more. As the price printed on the box was 1000 Rs more than the bill amount of my Xperia Z3 ( Billed amt Rs 45000/-). As I didn’t have any other option left with me so I paid them 1000 Rs and I was provide Xperia Z3+ (IMEI No. [protected]) dated 28.11.15 (Copy enclosed of Bill).

                                4) Unfortunately after using it for 15-20 days its back panel got a crack & when I contacted service centre at Ambedkar Road Ghaziabad, they told me that it will be repair but no warranty will be given to you. By contacting some other service centre of Sony I come to know that my warranty will last upto 19.02.2016. But I want to know that I was provide the handset in the month of October 2015 so why the warranty is provided only upto 19.02.2016.

                                5) I have submitted my new Xperia Z3+ to sony service centre on 26 Dec 2015 (Copy enclosed of Job sheet) and have paid 2800 Rs for changing of back panel.Now service centre officials are not in the position to repair my phone as back panel is not sticking to the phone. I have always been a loyal customer of your products. But since i purchased Sony's handset i was facing problem with the handset. As you know already three handset is already being replaced by sony but problem still persist. So I just fed-up with your service.

                                6) Your service centre official are not in the position to sort it out, thus I want full refund of my money

                                  I bought a sony xperia c4 black 2hrs back frm CROMA store at lower parel phoenix mall..cant believe it when i call someone or recieve call the screen disappears
                                  Cant dc the call as well..even if i press the lock button & try to unlock it..nothing happns..finally whn i plug it for charging the screen appears & when i unplug it the screen appears & phone is normal...need help in urgency

                                    I brought sony xperia Z ultra in month of FEB 2015. Since i bought it was having some hanging issue, but thinking it might me normal android bug i ignored. similar happened in month of october while i was on leave watching TV, so i kept my phone aside for a while and when i again took my phone back it was not responding to touch. to my surprise when i thoroughly inspected my phone it has got some cracks. i searched it on google and found world wide users have experienced it.

                                    so i contacted customer support in pune. they took my phone and told me below different explanation of it

                                    1. this phone is out of warranty and hence cannot be serviced(i bought my phone in moth of feb 2015)

                                    2. this model is stopped by company in in 2013 hence no part available(my question if it was stooped in 2013 how it was available in shop in feb2015, when i bought it)

                                    3. this is external damage and hence can not be repaired only can be replaced(by replace they offered me to buy another phone, which is available in market at 8500INR, for rupees 7500)

                                    4. they told me its company policy that tis brand is not repaired only replaced(i can see users on net who have got phone repaired earlier)


                                    i escalated issue to SONY company but they also not giving any satisfactory resolution.

                                    i told them i am ready to pay the repairing cost but not going to buy new phone from them still they not giving solution. its very frustrating to follow up with them.


                                    PS i have some phone recording with sony company and mail chains for the same issue.

                                      Dear respective,
                                      I bought sonny xperia m4 aqua last 20' oct 2015. last few day I m facing network frequency problem in my mobile.so I show it in sonny care in Ahmedabad 13 jan 2016 but still problem not rectified and 14 jan 2016 my sim slot no.1 not visible so I give mobile in sonny care at mehsana 16 jan 2016...its request please change it and provide me new mobile m4 aqua.

                                        I have purchase the mobile sony xperia e2043, two months before after purchase with in two days i have trouble with my mobile, continuous hanging trouble to open message, contacts, call register, and all apps, its was repeated says apps not responding, i give the mobile to authorised service centre at vadapalani joshi garden still it not work properly please give the solution to solve otherwise please keep your product with you, because it was soo waste to use, it is not user friendly please keep your product with your side, i am soo honour to say your product was sooooo waste.
