I Mr. Ronald Roshan Sequeira having been purchased the world’s best phone Sony Xeperia Z series for Rupees 32990 ( inclusive of vat) on 30th January 2014 from a reputed authorised dealer “Cellphonica” at Mangalore invoice no : 10274. I was very much excited and having great expectations on its performance, as I believed that SONY is a market leader and always wanting to give great value to the money invested and delight the customers, But unfortunately I am disappointed to share being a loyal customer of SONY for years, the phone was performing badly I had to face frequent battery low problem, even if I didn’t use data or though my screen brightness was very low, hence with no option I had to use on stamina mode, apart from it whenever I used to talk, the other person couldn’t hear clearly, so I visited the authorised service centre, somehow I got the phone replaced, but even on the replaced phone the same problem occurred, further I reported to the same issues to the Authorised service centre executive at Mangalore but the executives refused to accept such issues and gave couple of excuses, Unfortunately off late my phone fell from my hands and there are couple of scratches on the screen of the phone and the touch sensor is not functioning, when I enquired the authorised service centre executives they said I would have to pay 50 percent of the cost of the phone to get it refurbished as there is no system of servicing the existing phone.     Sir, I purchased one Sony Xperia model E1 D 2105 on[protected] from Cell point Potluru mansions, Dabagaqrdens, Visakhapatnam 530020 at a cost of Rs.6, 600-00, It developed problem in the charging socket in the 1st week of February, . I consulted S.S.Technologies, Sony authorised centre Akkayyapalem, Visakhapatnam, the set was given back to me on[protected] charging Rs.1, 250-00 for which bill was not given even on demand, the same problem recurred again yesterday, I took the set to the above centre, the technician said that either I should pay Rs.5000-00 for replacement of mother board or Rs.1250--00 for repair. I fail to understand that the set was purchased hardly 2 months back, when it is under warranty, why the above centre demands money without doing service at free of cost. I request you to please arrange free service to my set or order for replacement without cost and refund the amount of Rs.1250-00 I paid on[protected] to save me from the avoidable tension.and reply.       Hi, I am using SONY XPERIA T2 Ulta from past 11 Months and the handset is in-warranty. Few weeks back i had issues with the mobile SIM(s) not getting detected and i took my handset to R-Logic Technology(P) Ltd in Rajajinagar. They logged a complaint and the folllowing happened:1. The system board was replaced2. The very next day my camera stopped working and i took the same to the service centre. 3. Here they said that the camera is not compatible with system board and they will replace the same4 They took almost a week and then when the part arrived they replaced it and then later they tell that the camera issue is not resolved as the NEW REPLACED SYSTEM BOARD IS ONCE AGAIN FAULTY5. Since then my phone is with them and they are making me run from pillar to post and they say that now they will replace some other part.WORST THING THEY ARE NOT BOTHERED TO KEEP ME UPDATED.. I HAVE TO TRAVEL EACH TIME TO SERVICE CENTRE AND FOLLLOW UP. MULTIPLE CALLS TO THE SERVICE CENTRE MANY ARE UNANSWERED AND REST FALSE ASSURANCES ARE GIVEN . I AM REALLY FED UP AND I WANT MY PHONE REPLACED / REPAIRED AND GIVEN ASAP . SONY needs to understand that customers are not jobless that they have time in the world to keep calling or visiting the service centre. Having brought smart phones which are expensive the service PROVIDED IS PATHETIC ..         I had bought a SONY LCD 32" tv from sony authorised dealer, adajan, surat, gujarat, india. The screen of the same shows wrinkles on the same.Spending 30, 000/- bucks on a tv and within a span of not more than 6 years the screen is deteriorating.Please advice me for further course of action as the dealer had demanded 11000/- bucks to repair the same.This is a manufacturing defect and they should replace the same free of cost.

          I would like to grab your kind attention towards a highly unfortunate situation. List of events in chronological order : 1. 3rd March ‘ 15: All of a sudden my phone, Sony Xperia ZL, got dead. I tried a number of troubleshoots to wake phone but all in vain. 2. 4th March’ 15: I went to authorized Sony mobile service center named Nitesh Enterprises, Kota Rajasthan. I lodged complaint for “Dead phone” (Job no. W[protected]. I submitted my phone with service center and was told that I will be informed about the repair or software issue with phone by tomorrow after testing. 3. 5th March’ 15: Service center people called me up and told that my phone can not be repaired as they have been told by their head office. Unfortunately, my phone has got out of warranty (only by 2 months). They said that they can give me same model handset at 50% discount or Xperia Z1 at 20% discount in exchange of my phone, close to Rs 14, 000. I felt highly disappointed and came back home without a phone. 4. 7th March’ 15: I called up sony customer care to lodge complaint against my “Phone Dead” issue and to share my disappointments with them. Mr. Mohammed Sohail lodged the complaint and after hours of wait, they responded to my surprise that Service center people couldn’t repair since the phone is water proof it can’t be opened for repairs, and also told that the phone is no more under manufacturing. This piece of information that phone is irreparable and it is no more under manufacturing was neither available at the Sony website nor it was shared with me at the time of buying (User manual also doesn’t contain this information). I am unemployed and still looking for a job after my MBA, I couldn’t spend such hefty amount. I never expected such irresponsible behavior from a reputed MNC Sony mobile. Infact, I never faced any such issue ever in my life with any of the other reputed mobile companies, like HTC, Samsung etc. I want to raise this question in consumer court that how can Sony propose me such option (I have already lost faith in Sony mobiles) if they couldn’t open the phone for repair because of their hidden internal policy that too when this information is not shared with customer at the time of purchase. Why should I pay for their lapses and intransparent policies.

            With great disappointment I am writing this mail to you. We have purchased a Sony Bravia Television (Model No.KLV-32R412B, Serial No.3548287) on 22nd February, 2015 from Khosla Electronics, Behala. On 24th February, 2015 one of your technician came for installation and installed the television. Then from that very day, the television is having problem. There is a defect as it is showing line on display. We have complained that on Wednesday i.e. on 25th February, 2015 on your toll free number, then someone named Ms. Sakshi called me from the Sony head office and told me to reset the setting of the television then the line will go. But this thing didn’t help us because it was manufacturing defect but till date nobody turned up. Since it is my new television, I want it to be replaced with a new one as soon as possible. I really expect a prompt action from your end at the earliest because we are really getting no reply from your end. I don’t know whether I have taken a wrong decision by purchasing Sony Bravia. This type of casual behavior is not expected from a prestigious company like yours. So kindly replace this defective television with a new one immediately as it has manufacturing defect.               Dear sir, I had purchased a Sony mobile in Dec 2014 from your dealer "Paragon Telelinks pvt ltd" . The phone started behaving erratic and problem aggravated in first month. However after losing patience i submitted the handset to dealer who in turn handed it to "CCOM Telecommunications" your service centre.                 Camera quality of this phone is very bad, pixels are not clear as per the 8 mega pixels camera, video sound recording is not good, auto focus problem while shooting a video, and company is not doing any thing to overcome from this problem & it is a expensive phone.

                  Hi This is the worst laptop that i have ever laid my hands on. Not only is this pathetically slow, even slower than a 7 yr old laptop of mine, but also very erratic in functioning. This is the last machine/equipment that i have ever bought from Sony and would prefer to stay away from it henceforth.                     Dear sir, My Sony TV ( model No KLV-40S550A size 40") service complaint registered on 22Feb 2015 at authorised sony call centre was picked on 25 Feb 2015 by star electronics( job no J[protected] community centre, Naraina Vihar, Near C block Gurdwara, New Delhi. Yesterday i.e. on 05 march after 11 days I have been informed it cannot be repaired and needs the screen to be replaced at a cost of 18, 000/- plus . I am totally disappointed at the slow service provided absolutely no update or follow up and now the exorbitant cost being quoted which was exactly what I was fearing and i had mentioned in my mail to the customer care cell. Kindly let me know if service costs are so high what is the rational of services being provided by sony ??? This has been the standard response whenever I have had any Sony appliance repaired at any of your service Centre. Kindly let me know if I can be provided a reasonable cost for the repairs to be carried out so that my TV can be finally repaired as the current repair cost does not make it viable to carry out the repairs .                       My son, Nadeem, purchased a VAIO laptop (Model No. SVF1521KSNBIN[protected], Serial No. 0000813) in the month of September 2013 from HOT, Delhi. Within warranty period the authorised service center changed the defective mother board, After expiry of the warranty period, again the laptop went unserviceable and charged Rs. 6000/- (approx) for repair. Again after 4-5 months, the laptop gone unserviceable. The Club Electronics, a Sony authorised service centre at E-25, South Extension, Part II, Main Market, Delhi - 110049 has given an estimate of Rs. 18779/- for its repair vide Job No. J50524440 dated 28/02/2015 saying that the defective mother board needs to changed. It is quite disappointed and disheartening that the costly laptop of such a branded company gone frequently unserviceable within one and half year of purchase. If it is repaired with an expenditure of Rs 18779/- then the total expenditure incurred on repair of this laptop would be amounting to Rs. 25000/- (approx) and almost 50% of the initial cost of the laptop with two times change of defective mother board. With this scenario it appears that a defective piece of laptop was sold to my son. Also this defective laptop created frequent unwarranted mental, physical and financial harassment to my son in his study who is doing his B. Arch in Jamia Millia Islamia New Delhi. I, on behalf of son, request to repair the laptop without any charge or else guide me to go to National Consumer Forum for redressal of my grievances against your company. The laptop is presently with the service centre mentioned above. Request accord priority in response.

                          Hi, Few days back my Xperia Z mobile phone charging port damaged, i went to authorized service center and they said they cannot repair but replacement would be done on payment of 20000 Rs ( i.e half the amount of new Xperia Z ) which was not acceptable. I have even made a call to Sony Support Center and there also response was same. At that time i felt it was bad decision to busy Sony product as their support service is very poor. If this is way sony would continue their support services on products i would surely not recommend to buy sony products. Now i am at lose, this is un-professionalism on branded company like Sony.

                            The Sony mobile set was purchased from bhubaneswar, odisha on 20th April 2014.The set was having problem in the touch screen for operations.The problem was identified that liquid ingress red, I requested to service centre at bhubaneswar for servicce but they refused to extend the service and top of that they offer me please purchase another set with 20 % discount, even they had given me letter writting.They returned the set as it is beyond the capacity of repair.

                              Good Evening, Sony Experia Z IMEI[protected] I write in distress about the experience owning a Sony Experia Z phone. I bought the phone from a Poorvika Vendor last year in the month of April'14. I initially had two problems one phone getting heated and secondly red eye, however i carried on because of some sentiment. Last week my phone fell on the floor from my hand and the screen had broken lines but the display was fine, however am not able to use the phone anymore. I checked with Sony Service center and was informed that it will cost around 15K and since the phone is within warranty i can replace my phone with a new phone due to the ongoing problems by paying 13K. My Father also dropped his Micromax phone on the floor and had same amount of damage but it is working fine. After i had bought the phone i had recommended Sony to all the employees who work under me and above me and used to argue with my brother that Sony is the best, however his MOTO G phone bought for 12K has Gorilla glass and nothing happens when his son by mistake drops the phone on the floor and he has no heating issue or red eye.                                 A year ago, i have purchased Sony led from Vijay Sales Mira rd with warranty of 1 year, On Feb 2015 1 week my TV came up with a black screen no display when i called Sony engineer for repair it come to know that display need to change that will cost 15000/- this is like not expected from Sony product just in 1 year performance is down, there are many more product in market more cheaper than Sony product but i suggested to go for Sony just because it will run for long term, compare to Sony our last experience with Onida TV was much more better than Sony it worked for 13 year without any issue, So there is no worth to purchase costly product if it starts giving issue in 1 year, it seems like Sony is not up to there quality which it was in earlier Thanks, name : Moiz Sadriwala cotact no.                                   I had bought Experia Z1 C6902 on 31 March 2014 but after a few days it started getting hanged so went to the customer care for the 1st time within a month of purchasing the phone. They updated the software and gave me the phone I did'nt understand how a newly bought phone could have an old software which needed updation.Thenagain on 7 June 2014 I gave my phone to the customer care for not getting charged even then they did the formatting and gave me the phone the next day without even checking whether it is getting charged or not. When I checked the phone it still had the same issue and told them so.Then they came to know that its a hardware problem and told me it will go to the compnay for a check and will get replaced if there's a problem so I got my phone replaced on 25 th june after much arguing with them. Now again on 3rd march my phone facing same isssue of not getting charged so what should I assume that was my phone really repalced? or they sent me the same piece again.

                                    Purchased XPERIA T2 Ultra Item No 50667469 on 16.11.2014.Battery charging stopped on 18.01.2014, contacted Mobile Technology for service.At service centre they denied the free service by telling the hand set is Guarantee void and given the estimate for 7523.99 for servicing for which I denied. The hand set is brand New Instrument neither I given to any second person for use nor I opened it.Sony customer care centre also not given satisfactory justification and demanding to approve the estimate for service.One week back I contacted sales manger but no response from him.The Instrument is not working properly.
