It is absolutely a disgrace to write to a brand which has its presence worldwide. I am frustrated making calls to your service center for the last 45 days only to hear unsatisfactory responses. I wonder what sort of a service center is this? No one in charge has a complete understanding of where does my phone lie. I am without a handset since last 45 days, I hope you understand how important and an indispensable tool it is. This is my last resort to write to the authority to get a resolution within the next 48 hours before I am been compelled to take a legal action. I await to hear soon. Dharmesh Vaghela

      I had purchased a bravia lcd 32" tv (model no: KLV-32BX300IN5) on 16/02/2010. Just before the warranty period, this complaint (detachment of outer layer of tv) started and white horizontal lines started appearing. When contacted with service centre, it was informed that the repair charge will be about Rs 16000 which is almost half the MRP. Now about 75% of the screen is fully detached and is white in color. and this problem is found only with this model (BRAVIA BX300). It is understood that most of this model LCD is having the same problem. which is a MANUFACTURING DEFECT.

        We had given a Sony LCD TV for repair at Club Electronics, SonyAuthorised Service Center at South Extension-Part II, Main Market, New Delhion 15th November 2014 with a complaint of "multiple Vertical lines coming on screen". They verified infront of my husband (who took the TV to the centre) with the remote of my TVand told him they would inform the next day. Three days after I received acall saying the mother chip needs to be replaced and it would cost around Rs. 1700/- and they wanted a consent from me to go ahead. I also confirmedand I received a call and also a message from the centre on 21st Novemberthat the same is repaired and the same can be collected. Hence I reached thecentre to take delivery. They made me wait for half an hour and when I askedthem the engineer came and told me it will take time you please come after 20minutes. Hence I went back and came after an hour and they told me that theyneed to test again as the lines are still appearing. This time also, I had togo back.

        I went on 23rd November again and asked them and I was informed that thedisplay panel needs to be changed and was informed that it would cost Rs.12000/- and if I do not want to get this done, I can take it back. As Iwas really shocked to hear this and also had not taken my car, I told them Iwill be able to come next Sunday only to collect this and I need to consult myhusband (as he is out of station). Meanwhile, every day I got the message thatthe same is ready and can be collected. I went again on 30th November and askedthem I need to check the TV set. They asked me to go and check the same. I wentthere and asked them to check the TV. To my utter disbelief, when they pluggedin the TV to the connector, the TV did not even got switched on. On enquiry, Iwas told by the engineer that while the TV was kept on testing, it got shortcircuited and the display set (do not know the exact term) got damaged, as thesame cannot be externally fit, they need toreplace the whole display panel. On their insistence, I had to carry back my TVand they also refused that the TV remote control was not collected by them. Thoughwe had handed it over to them, they now refused that as the same was notmentioned in the job sheet, it was not handed over to them. But I confirm thatthe TV remote was kept with them.

        Now my TV is a waste box, of no use. I am not at all convinced by theresponse they gave me. It is highly illogical that the TV is of no use now. Ifany damage happened while the TV is kept for testing due to their internalfaulty infrastructure, should the consumer be held responsible? Why would Ispend Rs.12000/- for their mistake. Thecenter is not at all concerned about the customer dissatisfaction. I am convinced that this was a goo[censored]p made at their endand they try to hide the same.
        Please investigate further into this and get me an honest reply else Iwould have to approach consumer court for my grievance redressal.

          I have purchased sony xperia t2 ultra on 09/07/2014. Within one month it got curvature in screen and its back side is also get elevated. I gave it to mobile shop back to replace it. But they have not replaced full handset. Instead they replaced some of its part. But the problem is still persist. I want to change it as it is still under warranty. So kindly take a serious response over this issue.

            Sony India - Failure of TV display panel for TV model KDL32EX550 with in a span of two years TV Screen Got spoiled and white vertical lines are appearing. I would not understand A TV costing 40 K will carry genuinity only two years? I request Authorities to look into this matter and do needful to me urgently.

            I request Consumer Form authorities to help me in this regard, The repair costing around 16k said by Sony Service centre person.

              Dear Sir / Madam, I have purchase a Sony Xperia -L-C2104 model from Mysore Sony Centre at Devraj Urs Road on April 2014, 9months old, Whenever I call and disconnect the phone is to hang for 2 to 3 minutes everytime. I take to Sony Service Center. They format the set twice in two and a half months, but the problem is same and not solved yet. So please change my handset or refund the amount.                 I have an xperia c3 and the camera is horrible producing blurred or grainy images. The camera has trouble focusing. There is nothing wrong with my hardware, even camera reviews on other sites complained about this. This is one of the worst 8 megapixel phones in the market, even my old 5 megapixel phone produces sharper imsges. Very disappointed with Sony. The picture quality on my c3 is slightly better with manual mode, but is terrible under auto mode, especially indoors. Is there a software fix for c3 camera. Pls solve my problem ASAP.                   Dear Sir / Madam, I must say that Xperia Z1 is best phone I have used so far but not the Sony customer service. My phone is in just 6 months old and is showing some glitches like screen flickering, camera not working O.K. and radio signal issues. I went to Sony authorized centre at Faridabad. Leave apart the courtesy extension to customers, persons don't know how to deal with customers, may be they get used to the customer irritant behaviors. Anyhow, I went there with all original papers, bill, box and other accessories. I shared with the lady at reception for all the glitches, my z1 was showing. She acknowledged the same & checked bill & box. Then she asked for some sticker, that as per her, had been beneath the SIM card tray. Even I didn't know something like that exists, neither dealer told me at the time of buy. I asked her to check all my credentials and even the IMEI no. confirmation thru' phone (*#06#) and bill & box. Moreover for such things, design should not be so fragile that whenever you take out SIM tray, this info' may fall. She clearly refused for servicing my handset and asked me to go back. It was so letting down with the brand like Sony, I mean, with so much trust, one buys the product like Sony Z series & when you go for service, it is like, we made a wrong mistake, by buying the product. As you know, mobile is necessity in today's time & all communication depends on it. Accordingly, to avoid more suffering because of the phone in my communication, I asked her to tell the charges, though my phone is still in warranty. I don't know whether it is Sony guideline or service centre decision, I was asked to pay 50% of the bill amount. As, I purchased the set for Rs. 38, 500/-, that meant, I had to pay Rs. 20000/- to get my Z1 phone back to work. Are you serious? I asked, and the answer was Yes, from, service centre. This seems to be clear cheat from service centre. The phone is not working, just within 6 months and moreover, I feel so embarrassed, when, people say, that, in same price range, I could have bought a much reliable, service friendly global product. I am a regular user of Sony products, starting from K300i till date and on the same trust, I bought Xperia Z1. Request Sony India, to please intervene in the subject matter and arrange me the warranty service for my Z1. Hope to hear from Sony soon!! Regards, YASH PAL GRAMNI, [protected].

                    I am using sony xperia L. Its the third time in last 1 n half year my flashlight has stopped working. The last tine it happened, the service centre changed the whole motherboard. And now after that my phone has not taken much damage and still flashlight has stopped working.

                      We had given sony bravia lcd tv for repair to hubsun service centre srinagar kashmir the television was going in standby mode the tv was put for repair on 25 august now after 3 months the tv is still lying there and the hubsun service station says that the parts are not available and cannot be repaired and the company is just offering 20% of the mrp. Tv serial number is 410351-7 purchased on 01_10-2007 model no klv32u300 . Kindly look into the matter the job card dated 18-8-14 job card no 7074 is been given to us and they say that the tv had initial manufacturing defects and the parts are not availbale .

                        I had purchased experia Z2 15/10/2014 which had a manufacturing defect (loose back panel) which got replaced from the service centre, and again on 24/11/2014 I had to resubmit my phone due to water proofing issue even with all the flabs closed. Now the sony service centre is telling warranty is vioded due to water damage. Below is my concern. I had got a manufacturing defect phone with loose back panal, and due to that loose panal water went inside even after closing all the flabs. Now they have estimated around Rs.12200/- for repiar. Why should I pay them when the total fault is of the repair centre.

                          I had purchased a xperia z1 compact in march 2014. It had six months damage warranty, however it fell and broke on 7 the month. Like an honest customer I decided to get it repaired by sony under warranty and pay for the damages. I submitted it in Delhi to Accel Front line ltd. Nehru place new Delhi after getting a number from Sony customer care. However I was lead to an unpleasant experience as I submitted on 4 the October expecting it to be ready in one week with no. W[protected]. But the set was sent to chennai RUN SERVICE INFOCARE. There was no communication between these places and how and what amount should I submit. I had to go to the service centre thrice and meet the manager and finally they told me to on 30 the Oct to pay rs 7888 by rtgs. Which I did on 30th October. It was almost one month and I expected to get my mobile soon. On 4 th November SMS came to pick up the phone. When I went and took the phone its back was open and handed it back, manager said that this need to be escalated and took the phone back. I called up [protected] and spoke to senior person on 17 th Nov and they said the service centre should have generated a new work order. After one hour of calling SMS came of new work order W[protected] However nothing happened even despite contacting the service center many times telephonically. Finally SMS came to receive the phone and I went there yesterday and the phone still had open back panel, dirty on all boundaries, looks old. So it was again sent back for repair! Tell me what to do? I kept the phone in covers and it looked brand new except for the broken screen, now it is open not water proof, dirty all over. Why has Sony service centre destroyed my phone? They also told me it is swapped but I could recognize a familiar mark so it was a lie and then the representative agreed. If they can't repair it then they should pt it rather than keeping it for 2 months. Please

                            I have purchased this Sony Xperia z1 Compact for your high-quality, affordable products, based on the recommendations by one of my friends. Unfortunately I met with an accident on 12th Oct, 2014 and my phone screen got damaged. I met with accident around 9:00 PM and as it was Sunday, I visited the Sony service center(Nehru Place, New Delhi) on Monday 13 Oct 2014 at 6:20 PM. The store was closed and finally I lodged complaint on Tuesday 14 Oct 2014 in Lajpat Nagar Delhi with Ticket ID : [protected] on the name of Kamlesh Tiwari. My 6 month accidental warranty expired on 12 Oct 2014 and I explained the situation to your representative present there to consider this repair under accidental warranty. However I am sorry to state that they have not accepted this under accidental warranty and registered this as normal/charged service request. I informed the same through mail to the Sony customer care but no action was taken till date and i am very much disappointed with the service of Sony India. Today on 01 Dec 2014 (approx 46 days later), I am writing this complaint to you as I have not received my phone yet. I have visited personally your service center and also had various follow ups on call. Every time I go there I see some problem in repaired hand set. The thing I am getting is only future dates, nothing else. I sincerely request you to please look into the following matter. 1) My handset should be replaced with new handset as a compensation as I am not sure that this handset will work after service. 2) My accidental warranty should be considered.                               I had purchased a sony xepria in May 2013 fr om Croma at Thakur Mall. After some days the display was not seen. We met the service agent at Borivali and the mobile was surrender the phone on 18th October 2014 Job sheets no. WL[protected]. After several visit to the service centre answer was work in progress. Now it is more than 45 days and no proper answer is given to what has happened to the phone. 45 days without a mobile phone is just not possible. After buying such costly cell phone from such a branded company. And no proper service is given to customer. The cell is under warranty period. How are we to recomened any friends relatives regarding sony products, if after sales the service is so bad. Just not possible.

                                Dear Sir/Madam, This is to inform you that I brought a Sony VAIO Laptop on 22nd March, 2012, but the warranty which I have to be given was mistaken. The warranty card for this product was extended on wrong serial product that is *[protected]* but actually the serial code of my laptop is *[protected]* . I have complained for this issue so many times at service centre in RDC, Ghaziabad and Service Centre in KOTA(Rajasthan) but they are not resolving my problem and not even assuring me to correct this problem. I hope the appropriate posts will hear and resolve my problem. I am attatching some important snaps and Bill anlongwith Warranty Card letter for your consideration.                                   i had brought a sony vaio t series laptop at USA, on[protected] after one month a os related problem occured .then ihad contact coustmer care with their suggestions recovery option but it does not work then i submit it in my nearer servicing center but they had said it a foreign purchase we don, t do any thing then i send it to banglore then they had repaired it after two months .them my pc working properly . but now the same problem occurs two weeks back now my warrenty also expires when i had taken my laptop to my nearer coustmer care in nellore they had said that we dont have any recovery cd please give this system outside and take piracy operating system . but i had given the pc in sony servicing center on tuesday of this week today when i called them they had said that ther is aproblem in hard disk and in board is not taking the command please brought a new one . in that way they are responding. now we are feweling bad why we had brought this type of proudct every one had said dont buy sony but we had brought this from abroad please take action on my complaint the service center name in rayalaseema enterprises, ramalingapuram nellore

                                    I have had my laptop in Sony authorized service center for more than a month now. They said the part is not avaiIable so an alternate solution will be provided. I tried to reach them, through different channels. Nobody is giving a proper response as to when a resolution will be provided. I am so fed up of the follow ups. In spite of taking the advance for repair, they have not been able to repair the laptop

Since about three weeks the top half of the TV is blurr and visibility is very poor. On complaining the technician visited and advised that the panel (Screen has to be changed). This was too shocking for me, because I can not accept that the panel of a reputed Sony TV can give trouble in such a short time. He also said that the panel will have to be changed at a cost of Rs.28, 000/- which was a bigger shock for me. Kindly advise me in this regard and help me change the panel at a minimum cost. I suppose this is a very rare phenomenon for a SONY TV.

                                        Hello. I have a sony vaio SVF15212SNBIN5 and its been 6 months since i have bought it. At first the laptop performed quite fine but now 10 days ago my laptop crashed. I immediately contacted the "Costumer Care" and lodged a complaint. Personally i hated their way of talking and handling costumers. Also i never got the service at the right time. Ever since then, the costumer care is ignoring my issue and finally i have decided that i want a replacement. I am fed up of your services and this laptop. I recently got a minor electric shock when i touched the HDMI port. I want my complaint to be treated very seriously. I hope there are still some sensible employees in Sony.
