I had submit the SONY Z1 mobile to service center on 5th of May 2014 and after daily follow ups on 23 may one of the service guy called me[protected] and told me that company need one more week just to give me the estimate. Never expect for a company like SONY

    i bought sony mobile Experia C now i got the update as to update my mobile.While updating the mobile my mobile got switched off and when i switched on it came as sony and didnt on further. so i called customer care they asked me to press power button and volume up key still it didnt get switched on so they asked me to take to service center. So i took my mobile to Sony service center to address #65 ground fl 17d main opp kormamgala club 6th block kormangala.here i am not satisfied with the service they provide they are so arrogant.If i go with the compliant mentioned above the are telling it is water damage and it should be replaced eventhough there was no water damage. So i asked for standby phone as i dont have any other phone they are not ready to give standby phone also and people in service center is also very arrogant they dont know how to treat customer.so i am really unhappy with the service and this will insist me not to advice sony phone to any one so kindly do needful

      My LED TV is giving the interference every time I switch on the power supply for other home appliance like light switch in the other room. I have register the complain by e mail and ref number is 19099320. Your representative has called and he informed that some settings needs to be changed and if the same problem Is not solved then software need to be upgraded. I have called representative and changed the settings but the same problem is still exists. After changing the settings now representative is telling that this interference is due to high voltage line!!! If the same problem the why my old LED TV was not giving such kind of problem . Your team is not treating the customer properly and giving the baseless justification. I have purchased SONY make TV @ the price which is higher than the other branded make just because of the quality and service support of the product. But I am not really happy with this kind of problem. Your team has not even visited to us and till date I don’t have service report!!! This shows that your service is like local brand. Please give inform me where is my service report? I am not happy with such kind of treatment to customer from SONY I hope I will get the proper support to solve the issue.           Hello Sir, Let me introduce myself my name is Naincy Desai, residing at adajan-surat, I am youngster and impress with the item which shown in TV commercial, I have heard lots about SONY and having very good impression of world class company as well as product. With this impression I have bought Sony Xperia Z dated on 20th August, 2013 from SHREE SARGAM TRADERS (INDIA) PVT. LTD., SURAT. With description “C660Z/XperiaZ/PUR[protected] [protected]” It was working properly but after a couple of days it was having flickering problem. So I carried my phone to the service center named Rainbow Services Surat. They advised me to replace my phone. I shocked why there is a condition to replace the phone !!! So I did according to their advice. After 7 months of replacement suddenly my cell phone switched off by itself. After 4 hours I came to know that it’s not working and that was my replaced piece does this product is belong to world class company. Then I keep it for Charging as I thought maybe it was the problem with low battery. But there was no light indication for charging. Still I put it in charging so after 10 hours only red light was blinking for second. No other indication was there to make me realize that my phone was not dead. So I decided to go at Rainbow Services Surat to find proper solution. They answered me that my phone’s socket is not working so they have to replace with new socket which costs 17, 000/-. Another thing they told me that my phone has no warranty still it has 4 months remaining for complete 1 year. The reason behind this statement was that in my phone white strip at headphone socket & charging socket was pink coloured. I was not informed about this condition at the time of buying this phone. I think this is not proper. I was not satisfied with this answer so I decided to go Navsari Harsh telecommunication which is authorised dealer of Sony. They replied me that there was no more hope with this phone and for new phone you have to pay 22, 000/- DD so you will get new one. Again I was confused with this answer. After one week I again put my phone in charging and in 3 hours phone was charged and all indication light was blinked with red, orange and green colour. I was surprised if my sockets are not working then how that phone charged. If Sony center was right then something miracle happened. Again I went to Rainbow Services Surat. The answer was different than before. They replied me that there was no more hope with this phone and for new phone you have to pay 24, 995/- DD so you will get new one. Their previous answer and this answer were totally contradictory. From this I think In Sony center there is no skilled person attending customers. They are doing extortion of money. I think SHREE SARGAM TRADERS (INDIA) PVT. LTD., SURAT has cheated me. Do you feel that is proper answer to customer, if service centre guy is not sure regarding the problem in my cell phone then he should said that we will check it and reply you. And if you appointed Sargam Traders pvt. ltd as your service vendor then it is their responsibility to give satisfactory answer to sony’s customer. When service centre said to pay Rs. 24000 to a customer which is basically student and purchase a cell phone by collecting penny by penny. Do you calculate how much cost this phone to me if I use it for a year 33000/365 = 90* ==== Rs. 90+ is not pocket money of a student per day. Ok if it is affordable to me then its doubt against your product!, it might not reliable according to usage ??? or its component are not as per brand ??? or its QC may not be done ??? whatever the reason I don’t know but I am suffering from your policy or product that is true. Now please let me know what should be done in this case ? Will it be replaced again or I have to wait ? will its component will be changed or I have to through it to dustbin and take snapshot of it and share with friends “I am looted please take care with this company / brand” or to be share on WhatsApp with group by tagging “my life’s biggest mistake” Please let me know the ahead procedure.             I own the phone Sony Experia ZR. 8 months later the charging point closing breaks, and later a complete strip came out. I went at a service center for repair. The reply I get is " The phone is discontinued, we do not have repair policy for this phone. You need to submit this phone we shall provide a new phone once you pay 50 % of MRP. Why would i do that. I want my phone repaired. SONY a brand how can you do this. Do you not give notifications to customers if you have these things coming up ?? . I would appreciate if you can provide if you have provided any notices regarding service policy. My phone is under warranty, if it is physical damage I am ready to pay for it, but no service for a phone is not an answer. Please help !!!

              My phone's IMEI no [protected] and my mobile no is [protected] kindly please contact me and also u can check the status of my phone how many times I had gone to the service centre for repairing my phone all these time at Maddona Electronics40/7135, F4, AVS Building's, M.G.Road Cochin Kerala 2368185 the main complaint of my phone are described below touch has been replaced 2 times pixel complaint power button complaint, again power button complaint still there At present my phone is dead for about 6 hrs and came back to normal and after that the sound was not there but after one hr the sound also came back In all of these one year I have been in service centre repairing this phone I am also ready give this phone second hand but the problem is that through this servicing the service person had made scratches inside the phone so that I am not getting the market price too what should I do.The only thing I am demanding now is that please give me an extended warranty for another one year or give me another phone.

I had purchase on august 2012 there is green light indicator fluctuation problem .for this problem I lodged in Sony customer care many time technicians come & setting TV But still I have been facing same problem again and again. Even after multiple technicians visited the place the issues has not been resolved For two or three days my TV was under their custody at service center Surat. But matter not resolved, my problem persist. Now –a-days in my TV no power comes my Sony TV is under extended warranty. Please sort out my problem early to earliest as possible. I have no option to solve my problem, unless to go to consumer court to file my problem.                   Pathetic SERVICE by Sony...I am an unfortunate customer of SONY for last 10+years this time I had purchased Z1 (my biggest mistake), which from day one has started giving problem of speaker/ECO of voice to other caller but it works perfectly fine if you use earphone ...have visited the center 4 times and they just upgraded the software and returned the phone...but problem never got rectified...L...ater 4 months they have asked me to submit the phone after follow up for 7-8 days...they had given me a phone with scratches and marks of dent...I had given they my phone with is hardly used and in best of condition with scratch free and no marks...my phone is just 7-8months old and am shocked to question my self why the hell I spent 45-48K for such a pathetic service...for you problem you are making me to go through the sequence of trauma and then you guys sprinkle salt to add flavour...I have also registered a complaint with help line that too is seems like a Govt organisation its 3+ days but NO HEED to it and NOT even a call... Am going to take the matter to consumer court now.                   So far no one has communicated with me...now I need someone to share top managements number as there is new problem of phone getting heated up has arrived.
                  I am Sajit Nair from Powai, Mumbai.
                  U have a Sony Bravia 32" LCD. The monitor has simply melted. This is a major manufacturing blunder.
                  I complained about it in the first week of August. My complaint number is[protected]. Two weeks after i was told that the TV will have to be replaced and i would have to pay Rs.1000/- for the same. On August 21st we send the money to the service center by wire transfer. I was told the replacement would be delivered within a maximum of 10 days. I have been trying to follow up with both the service center and the support with no one knowing what is happening. Call backs are organised that never come or come days after with no information. As early as yesterday evening after blasting the support i was promised a call back by 12 today with accurate status. It is 2pm and no phone as yet.
                  The support and the service are pathetic. The service center is an absolute joke. No one wants to take responsibility for anything,
                  I am amazed that such organisations invest in systems for data tracking, but are so stupid that they cannot build in a mechanism to see if issues are resolved within some logical time. There are elaborate systems and numerous reference numbers to just build a smoke screen for themselves. There is no intention to resolve issues all these are mere gimmicks.
                  Really regret that we pay a premium to procure a so called premium brand lie SONY. The premium ends at the high cost and media spends. The customer is the who has already spend the money and now can go to hell.

                  I intend to take this fight to its logical conclusion and please be aware that there are many means for us to escalate the issue to force a resolution. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CUSTOMER FOR A FOOL.
                  I was facing some dead pixels issues with the phone. I went to the
                  kutchery road service center (Meerut )on 25 sep 14 to get it checked and
                  i was told that there are some dead pixels in the handset and it needs
                  to be replaced. Now it has been 26 days already and i have not got my
                  phone back. Few days ago i was shown a refurbished phone which was to be
                  given to me but as the same was not in working condition same had to be
                  replaced again. I do not understand why am I being offered
                  a refurbished phone. Either you guys should repair my own phone or if
                  you cant repair my phone then give me a new one. Why would i use a
                  disfunctional phone which was used by someone else. I did not spend
                  36000 INR just for using a second hand phone. After 26 days i am still
                  waiting for my z1 in these 26 days more than 20 times i contacted to
                  customer support team through emails or phone calls.

                  I am getting tired of making follow ups if you guys cannot repair my
                  handset then please provide me a new one, if you can not give me a new
                  handset than give me my money
                  back. I might as well buy an apple iphone atleast they are committed to
                  their customers and provide them the best service possible. They are
                  not like sony
                  who would go on handing over refurbished phones to their customers. .
                  If you cannot provide services to your loyal customers like me I am
                  sorry to say but I would have to end my loyalties towards sony.

                  I have been a Sony customer for years with innumerable sony products in my house. I bought a phone last year with stopped working within 3-4 months.
                  As I was abroad I tried contacting local Sony who refused to look into it citing local warranty.
                  I came to India on a 2.5 week vacation and gave it to fix immediately. They made me wait 1 hour even to give me 5 minutes to take the instrument.
                  I need to leave but these people are still playing around and not fixing my instrument.

                  Please tell me if I can go to the consumer court ?

                  I had submitt my sony ultra T2 on (19th Sep '2014) and the problem was ( Display Crack ) and the Job sheet which i had got in that Ticket id no is [protected] . I had been informed that charges is Rs-11800/- but due to circumstances i had not collect phone in that month . I agreed i had been informed that phone is repaired please collect the same but i had not been informed that if it is not collected than it would get delivered to chennai head office. In my job sheet there is nowhere return that if phone is not collected within 90 days than it will get delivered to head department . This is pathetic.On 13th March'15 i had visited to service centre where i had given my phone to repaired and address is (F-12, 1St Floor, Eternity Mall, Teen Haath Naka- Maharastra - Thane-400602) contact - [protected]/[protected] i had called to service centre they were no picking up the call so i had visited and provide my job sheet which i had given at the time of submitting. After 2 hours they informed me that phone had delivered to chennai and asking for advance payment . I disagreed and informed that lady once i get the phone after that only i will pay. I that also they informed me that it takes 7 to 8 working days and the for online tracking status they had provided the number([protected]) that number is unavailable. Is this crime to buy sony mobile from such reputed company .
                  I want my phone on Urgent basis. Please do the needful.

                  I dont want to give as company is very pathetic they dont deserve any star
                  I called sony service centre, Annanagar, Chennai in the month of May 2015, as my Bravia LCD TV was not working, after checking they said it is due to mother board failure. And after 2 weeks time they said that spares for LCD unavailable with them, so buy a new TV with 25% discount from MRP (we need to hand over old TV also). I agreed for the proposal and submitted DD for the said amount to buy a new LED TV. But i didn't get new TV even after repeated followup for 4 weeks. They replied very casually that if you want you can go to the court and complain.
                  Then i really fed up and asked them to return my DD, they simply agreed and handed over DD after 10 days.
                  Two things i don't understand (i) for any of the product they are selling should have spares (ii) Even whole sale dealers are giving 10% discount from MRP and they have exchange offer with old TV. And TVs are delivered on the spot, why Sony is taking such a long time to deliver?

The service centre is not giving me any response regarding it and getting it delayed time and again. Its been now 13 days that i have not received any positive response from them . I am really very disappointed from your services. I want you to look into the matter concerned and get it repaired asap. Hope to get positive response from you. Thanks

                        Hi Sir/Madam, I purchased SONY Television. (Model: KDL 40EX520) Serial No: 2482196 on 14.01.2012 from Vasanth & Co company (Sony dealer), saidapet. I have registered a compliant for problem (video invisible equipped with audio) to customer care on 17.05.2014 (CCCID:[protected]. . Service is so disappointing that Service executive came on 20.05.2014 at 11:00PM after 3 days investigated and said that problem is with Front Panel due to current fluctuation and value of front panel is 25000/- approximately. It is ensured While purchasing that this model doesn't require stabilizer as it has inbuilt stabilizer. Please note I am residing amidst of residential area and not in industrial area. We don't have frequent fluctuations and there is no question of sudden surge or spikes or any other high power pollutions being a residential area. Though it is costing high, trusting "Sony brand" I have bought with no question and started using it. it is highly disappointing to see a product of Sony is not even durable to have life of 2.6 years. I request you to take this case as special consideration and do favorably against this complaint that could avoid me for proceeding with any other legal action. Regards M.Babu

                          Mobile number : [protected] model number :Sony Xperia ion LT28h Build number :6.2.B.0.211 Location: Jalandhar, Punjab Address of Service centre : Sony Service centre, 233/1 S.U.S. Nagar near lovely sweet shop., Mahavir Marg, Shaheed Udham Singh Nagar, Jalandhar, Punjab 144001 [protected] There was the problem in the battery back up of my phone, it use to get switched off even at 70 % charging so i had given the handset for fixing the problem to the above mentioned Sony service centre on 25 April 2014.I got my handset back after one week, although the problem of battery was solved as the phone was upgraded to the latest available updates.But my handset is not working properly after that, internet is not working on my handset.i Repeatedly visited the sony service centre, but my problem is not being solved rather i have been befooled by them .I am feeling so much dis-satisfied with your company services.I will never ever buy any Sony product from now onwards.my phone didn't worked properly even for one day since i have bought it.Kindly do the needful to fix my problem as soon as possible.

                            Ps4 went out of stock by February in every retailer shop in Calcutta. Sony centres took advance bookings for the console and promised us that we would get the machine in a week or two. Weeks and months passed by while they are still lying on our faces that the console will come any day now. They told me for sure that it would come by the end of March, when a friend and I ordered Fifa 14 and an extra controller(both of which cost us nearly 9grands) from an online shopping site because they said the game was not going to come with the new stock. The console obviously didnt arrive and here we are moving closer to the probable release of Fifa 15, with no console.. I have used playstation 1, 2 and 3, which tells you how much I trusted Sony. Now I request you to get back to me explaining why we've been lied to for 4months and why we should not expect any degree of price cut or any benefit for this.

                              dear sir/ma'am, i bought a sony sound systemD10 last year but unfortunatly after completing warrenty it has some sound problem.when i went to service center they said that it can not be repaired.it can only be replaced when i say ok, i am agree to replace it they said that you have to pay rs 7000for that.but i bought it only rs 6700.then how can it possible that i pay more than i bought it. i buy sony only because of it quality and service.and i am facing this problem so please help me.

                                  Dear Sir/Madam, I had purchased the LCD KLV 32B/350 LCD in March, 13 from BIG BAZAR, However a few days ago we found there is problem in power board, after my complaint Sony Service engineer is asking us to pay Rs. 7500 for replacing the LCD Panel. Though I understand the warranty period is over, it is highly unfortunate that SONY’s LCD Panel has failed with in such a short life span and asking us to pay this huge amount for repairing the same. I regret to inform you that this is shattering our confidence on SONY product quality. Hope an appropriate action taken by SONY India to replace the LCD PANEL FREE OF COST.                                     Dear Sir/ Madam, This is to bring to your notice and request communication regarding the after sales service I am experiencing with SONY which is completely unexpected and extremely regretful from a reputed brand as yours. This being my first contact with Sony Service after I bought my laptop, of whose details can be found as follows: Product Name: SVE15117FNB Serial No. :[protected], I am extremely unhappy and am forced to now regret associating with your brand, when I am very well aware through mine and many others' first hand experience of the fast and a very satisfactory service that your competitor provides. My computer not even out of its warranty period, purchase date 12th Sept '13, with this being its approximately 9th month, has stopped working and its been 20 days since I first approached SONY with my problem, yet it remains unattended to, where I don't even know the status of whether ill receive the problematic part or not. Please find the Job No as follows: JOB NO. : J40911584, (I am not given any JOBSHEET yet) There has been absolutely no communication either from the assigned service centre (Mehta's Electrotech, Thane) or SONY itself, in spite of my repeatedly asking for a written formal communication. All i have been receiving is vague misleading answers creating confusion and unsureity if I would ever get the laptop repaired. The series of bad experiences started right from the time when my laptop stopped working and I had to call the Toll free Care No. I registered a complaint on 28th of May, followed all the oncall instructions and was told that a visit by the technician is necessary. Since then I had to wait for 8 days during which I had to call the hotline multiple times to finally be assigned a service centre, King's El.ectronics, Thane. Once the service centre was assigned I received no communication from them and when I called I was told to call back again and again. Following another call to the care hotline, I was assigned a new service centre Mehta's Electrotech, Thane. The technician then visited my place and confirmed the laptop had to be taken back for repair, it has been another 10 days since then and yet I see Zero progress. I was informed after the technician took the laptop back that there was some issue regarding warranty verification (verbally over phone) to which i promptly shared the details and contact of the Authorized Sony Dealer from where the laptop was purchased with Mehta's Electrotech and then duely waited for them to check back with the Sony authorities. I was then informed (verbally again) by my contact person at the centre Mr. Kalpesh Kadav that my warranty status has been cleared by SONY and I would receive the faulty part fixed and delivered in the next three days. Following this, I received another call the next day in which I was told that the part request has been cancelled and I would have to pay for the services. (again verbally). On my repeatedly asking what the issue is, whether with the warranty or anything else, I was only left with a vague answer that they would have to bear the cost themselves which is not possible and directions to call the Toll Free number again to lodge complaint if I wanted and that they cannot give me any answer as to how it got rejected and why I would have to pay for it. To this I again requested them to send me a written mail for me to take further action which was of no avail. Now My laptop is still with Mehta's Electrotech and I am in extreme need for my machine which forms my important mode of business, and I am not even aware if ill receive let alone when. This has resulted in loss of your Brand Stature and Trust in me and my circle and hence, I now request your views on my following concerns: 1) Is this how a customer is treated by SONY ? 2) How shall one claim their rights as a customer when they are refused to be serviced, shown a complete disregard to information and communication (I have as of now not received a single mail from your end, not even received a jobsheet against my laptop yet), and misled with false or incomplete status reports, denied basic consumer rights as promised when at the time of sales. 3) Who shall compensate for the losses that i have incurred; monetarily, time and energy, let alone from my business point of view? Whom shall i hold responsible for a completely unproductive 20 days that has gone by and many more which I am sure is awaiting me? 4) I fail to understand your reluctance to follow basic industry communication etiquette, which inadvertently leads me to the conclusion that I am somehow being cheated out of my consumer rights. (No written mails or even a Jobsheet has been furnished yet) A prompt response would be appreciated. Please find attached a copy of the invoice, and the warranty card attached. And after that it started problem with mike since than I m continuously visiting Sony service center Accel Frontline Nehru Place.                                         Bought a Sony Xperia Z1 couple of days back and realized what a mistake. Customer support sucks - specially Sony Center at Phoenix Mall, Nagar Road, Pune. There is a so-called store manager Mahesh who is not sure if he is the manager. When I asked to speak to the manager he said "he is not here", then changed to "he has gone out", then "I am the store manager". There is another Sony employee Imtiaz with a big mouth who is rude and insulting for some simple questions I had. His words has been "its my mouth and I can say what I want. So what if you are speaking to the manager?" and this is only the start of the bad attitude he had. And all I had gone to the store was to ask a little doubt about the new phone. So this is what I propose to do. I have fellow workers in the tech media space, consumer media space and am start bad mouthing Sony. From Digit to Times to online media space will see an anti-Sony campaign backed with STRONG social media campaign against sony. I am publicly (at the same mall) going to break the sony xperia that I bought. It will be videographed by me and all the audience and posted on social channels for lack of customer service. Cheers Sony! Dont under-estimate consumer power in India!
