I had purchased the above two models LED television and Home Theater system from your authorised Sony Center at Ghatkopar (West) on 17.5.2011 vide Invoice No.789/11-12/R. Within a year, the television had problems and the picture board was replaced by your authorised dealer in Chembur - Vega Electronics. Since the same was under warranty, we didn't have to pay for it, but were mentally harassed by the malfunction of the television. Then, there were subsequent issues as regards the volume, and after consistently following up with Vega Electronics, the issue was under control. Now, once again on 4.4.14, there was a distorted picture on the screen, and it started getting worse with only negative images. A person from Vega Electronics came and said that there is some problem with the picture board and has taken it for repairs under chargeable basis quoting almost 2, 300/- estimated. This is not all. the Home Theater system has been giving us trouble time and again, every six months there is a malfunction problem and the same is being repaired by Vega Electronics on chargeable basis regularly. I am very depressed and upset with the products. When I buy a SONY product, u will fully agree that I pay much more. And after paying so much, if this is the product that is given to a customer, I am saddened. I have been a regular user of Sony products for almost 20 years, only because I trust that name. But now, somewhere my trust is being shaken. It could be possible that the products that I purchased in May 2011 were faulty or some export rejected consignment. For it is beyond me to believe that Sony products will give away so easily. My various complaints numbers over a span of less than three years are: complaint no.10538978 dt.2.7.12, 9851953 dt.12.4.12, 10349652 dt.10.6.12, and complaint no.[protected] dt.4.4.14. In between these official complaints lodged, had spoken on a number of occasions to Mr.Santosh, Mr.Sushant, Mr.Manish, Ms.Anshita, Mr.Sunil Singh. As far as home theater goes, complaint nos.13370418, 14789463, 17729012. each time the home theater system had the same malfunction problem and it has taken almost 15-20 days for the same to be rectified. I had to keep on following up the matter with the concerned people and get the SONY product repaired. After going thru the above details, you may allot me a complaint number and your representative will speak to me and tell me that they will get back to me soon. But nothing more. This is not acceptable to me. I don't need your apologies and sympathies. I want something more and I think I am not wrong in asking for more. May I request your goodselves to please find a solution for my grievances. I would like it if the television and the home theater system is replaced with a fresh piece. This is getting a bit too much for me to handle now. I would be happy if a suitable person who heads the grievance department of your organisation takes up this matter and tries to solve it by either calling me or meeting me and settling my grievances.     Dear sir/ madam I am Mayank Chhabra, resident of delhi, i purchased a handset about 7 months ago. Brand- SONY xperia-L worth Rs/-16000. and get it assured by paying 10 percent of the total cost by ROYAL GREEN SERVICES. 2 MONTHS ago my handset display was broken. i gave the handset to the insurance company for repair on the date 2 feb 2014 and they returned me the same on 3 march 2014 with the handset dead. It was working when it was sent for repair. Now they are saying that this handset is non repairable and they can only give me only 35 percent claim on the current value of handset. the device i purchased at rs/-16000 they will give me rs/- 5425. the device i got back was malfunctioned by them and i am bearing the problem. sir please help me at the earliest for the same.       Respected Authorities This is to put into your notice again (as i have dropped mail before complaint number of the same is 1-[protected] )against job sheet number W[protected] .Previously my complaint was regarding the delayed services by the service center people .Now i have taken this initiative to inform you one new concern that i have faced today.Actually i had called the service center, J.P.electronics (address-E1/10 Shop no 33 aggarwal e-mall, sector -7 rohini, Delhi-110085) people yesterday i.e on 4 april 2014 to check the status of my phone as because they are constantly disconnecting the phone.So i had called your customer care people on this number[protected], they later arranged a conference call with the service center people on the lady on the other end from the service center, confirmed that your phone is ready from our end and you can collect it tomorrow, i.e. 5 april 2014 .Today my father had visited the service center (as i am in gurgaon) to collect the same.And today they reported that it is still not ready as camera of my handset is not working properly.I had submitted my phone at the service center with the concern of frequent battery discharge and non -functionable data cable not with the concern with the camera .It was working perfectly alright before submitting in the service center on 31 st march, 2013(on this date i have submitted the phone in the service center) . This is to put into your concern that not just me, many customers were complaining the same issue, in the service center and i had noticed too, that they have submitted phone with different concern but is changing everone single customer camera.And now this same thing they have done with my handset.I Have a strong feeling that the service center people are making money by selling the original parts of sony original parts .Kindly, ask your concerned authorities to take necessary action on it.As service center people is not playing with the money of customer or sony but playing with the brand name of Sony as well. I Had a word with Ms Rajani, a senior manager at sony customer care she had ensured me that she will also escalate the same issue to concerned authorities i own my own wants you to take action in this or else replace my handset to its earliest Awaiting for a positive response!

        I am having the following issues with my sony xperia c :

        1) Very low space to install applications on phone memory : Apparently sony claims to provide us with 4GB worth of memory to install applications, but the actual available space comes down to approximately 300 MB .Here's how - out of 4GB, 2.20GB is aviable to user where 1.20GB as internal memory to store files, images, songs extra and rest 0.98 as Device Memory in which approx 700MB contains pre installed and i got only 300MB to install app.

        So, i feel i have been cheated by Sony and i have made a big mistake after buying this phone.

        2) Complacent service centres- My phone is in accidental warranty and i have been to the service centre a couple of times asking them to replace my phone's broken back cover.But every time they ask me to submit my phone for atleast ten days.They are also not providing any kind of stand on phone.Who submits their phone for ten days for just a back cover.They can easily order the part from the company and replace it then and there.
        Very irritated by their service.

          I am shantanu siddharth from ranchi jharkhand. ([protected], [protected]) I purchased a sony mobile xperia Z on 17 April 2013, several months back my mobile screen got cracked so i gave it to sony service center and they told me that they will xchange my cell within a month and they told me you have to pay certain amount approx 15, 000 and they told me that we will call you and let you know about the exert price in a week, but they didn't call me, i use to call them almost every day but they never reply me properly and always give me other date, after a month i visit to them and told them to return my cell phone and suddenly they give me amount of 27, 000rs to paid, but the actual amount of that cell phone is 23, 000 on ebay. so i asked them to return my cell phone and still they are not paying attention on it and always give me other day, I am really fed up now, m using my friend's mobile and our college is going to end and still they are not even call me for single time. Now my last hope is with you so please help me m really harsh by them. each visit to their service center cost me rs 200+ and they still don't care. i visited their more then 10 times .i have only 1 month left in this city so please help me My faculty told me about you because you helped them too so he told me to take your help. I know you will help me get out from this problem .

            Replacement of cell phone under warranty Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to inform my cell phone was brought on 12-OCt-2013 and started having problem with Powerbutton and camera, and after two months took it to to service centre Vigneshwar services (Sony Authorized service center) Bangalore with complaint for Powerbutton and camera not workingthe complaint solve . But after few days we created same problem and took to the same service centre and they replaced the motherboard for powerabutton and also camera (Job No:W[protected]. Again yestereday i started facing the same problem i am frustructed with the phone as well has the service centre people, i am not able to use the phone properly So, I request you all to please consider it as a high priority and request you to please replace my phone under warranty. please do the needful for replacing cell phone .               I have purchased Sony model(svf152A) on[protected] from Croma Chandigarh..The laptop sold to me is defective inasmuch as I have been facing several issues with it ever since the date of its purchase. In the very first day of its purchase, the laptop was constantly getting hung and not functioning properly. I was unable to give presentations on my laptop due to the constant malfunctioning of the laptop and even single game is not working which caused me much embarrassment and inconvenience.The main issue is now that its arrow keys are not working properly while only gaming.I sent the laptop for examination to Sony care Sankalp Sony authorised in Patiala (punjab) and had it checked and repaired by an official of Sony. However, thereafter the laptop stops to be hanged but its arrow keys still not working while gaming only.

Particulars relating to goods/services complained of: (a) Details of goods/service: Sony Xperia L Mobile Phone (IMEINo. [protected]) Item of goods with quantum/nature of service: Mobile phone (b) Whether the complaint relates to: One or more defects in goods: Mobile sold with defect resulting in malfunctioning of the phone at a later date Deficiency in services: Faulty parts not replaced under warranty by service centre sighting wrong reasons. 4. Details of attempts made to get the matter complained of settled and result thereof: Personal negotiations: I raised a complaint at Sony customer care and personally went to service centre located at Sector 14, Gurgaon. Service centre head Mr. [censored]ij Sharma refused to accept the set for repair for some unknown reasons. Then after much argument, he checked the handset and informed me that it is damaged (mother board is damaged) and doesn’t come under warranty. I explained to him that it is not possible as the handset outer shell is completely ok with no sign of physical or liquid damage but he didn’t agree. I complained about this to Sony care and got a reply back that I need to pay the repair cost sighting reasons which were not told to me at the Service Centre. Reasons 1. Opened by unauthorized service centre- I explained that this set is never opened before by any person. I don’t know how to prove this but this is true. 2. Liquid damage- New point. Not raised by service centre when I personally visited service centre. I am sure that on the basis of lab check there will be no traces of liquid entering the phone. 3. Camera module damage- New point not raised by Service Centre earlier.

                  To whomsoever it may concern. I am highly disappointed and dejected with the behavior I came across with SONY ENTER FOTOBEST Pvt. Ltd., Mantri Sqaure, Malleswaram, Bangalore - 560003 If there is no action taken in the next 24 hours, I am going to lodge a complain in the consumer forum. Having said that I wish to describe the series of incidents as follows: 1. On 31st March, 2014, I visit Reliance Digital and come to know that the are selling the product DPF-HD1000 for Rs. 8, 499. 2. To inquire from Sony authorized dealer, I visit the above mentioned Sony showroom where the piece on display is a 10.2 inches photo frame. The sales man tells me that the "10.2" is the advanced and the latest version of the product which comes for Rs 9.990. 3. Considering the advantage and trusting the retailer, I make an immediate payment and purchase the product. 4. At home I realize that I have been given the same DPF-HD100 model which is "10.1" inches in size. 5. Even if the "10.1" is the latest model, I was told and made to believe something else to drive me to buy the product at a higher price. 6. Had I known that they are going to give me the "10.1" model, I would have bought it at Reliance Digital for a comparatively much lower price. Phone calls: (31st march, 2014) 9:22 PM: call to Praveen and explain the situation. He tells me that he will get back to me in 5 mins. 9:37 PM: I give another call which gets rejected. 9:44 PM: I make the 3rd call. Some one by the name Sudhakar picks it up and tells me that Mr. Praveen is busy and will give me a call. 10:02 PM: I make another call which goes unattended. This is a rude and a shocking behavior from the concerned people and makes me lose the trust on the SONY brand! Regards, Suyash

                    I wanted to replace my damaged TV screen (model - EX520). The authorised service center people came and took Rs 5000 advance on 23rd March 2014. After multiple reminders, they came and picked my TV after 4 days.. ever since I am following up with them as to when I will get my TV repaired but till date no confirmation... It takes numerous calls for me to even get some one pick up the phone.. today again I have called up and they are not able to let me know when I can get my TV back... When they took advance, they promised a delivery in 3 days but it's a week now...No response... Is it the way an authorised dealer will behave??? Please let me know what should I do now???                       respected sir/madam, with due respect i "Deepak Jairath" residencee in Jalandhar city, I am using yours company (sony) LCD BRAVIO 19" whose serial no is 12144888 which had borrowed since 2009 and in this month March 1st i got some complaint regarding supply in this set and I had gave this complaint to yours Authorised Service Centre in Jalandhar at "SIGMA MARKETING (SERVICE ) on 4th march whose JOB NO IS J[protected] and the service person name RAJU came and without opening or checking the LCD visually said, "this set got power supply problem and for this purpose its power supply card or PCB is needed to change whose cost is 4000/= and took Rs 500/- cash for ordering this PCB" I regularly call him after every week but I have not get any positive feed back from him and their service branch manager/inchrage. Sir/madam, If this reputed company make the service centres in various cities why the materials are provided their? so that consumers or customers may face such type of problems? kindly sort this problem as sson as possible.                         I, C P Choudhary resident of Chutia Amar Chowk, PO-Chutia Dist-Ranchi,
                        Jharkhand have purchased a Syper Shot(Camra) in the month of Mar 2013. After some
                        time it becomes defective, as lens was not functioning. Hence I sent the
                        syber shot to costumer service center, Ranchi . The sony service center has
                        charged Rs 1858/- only towards replacement of lens block assy. It is for
                        your information that my syber shot (Camera) is under warranty period. Copy
                        of Cash memo of item and copy of cash receipt by service centre, Ranchi are
                        enclosed herewith for your reference and early reply with justification.

                        During warranty period my syber shot became faulty and for which repair charged have been taken by the customer centre of sony service. Necessary documents are attached again for ready reference.

                          Hello, i am using sony xperia z, celphone is just 8 months old and i am facing the major problems as xperia z is a waterproof cellphone both my nobs are comming out so no use to say it a waterproof phone.

                          In the mean while i visited nearby service center first the told me you cell phone will get replace and suddenly now the denied it. I am using sony celphones from last 10 years this is the firts time i am getting this feedback, hence not acceptable.

                          I request to the team to proof there point n solve my problem.

                            Hi Respected Sir. I am vegad vimal from jamnagar. I was recently buy sony mobile from jamnagar. i having problem on my xperia z phone's ear speakers so i was recently visited to sony service center in jamnagar. I was give my phone to them and told about my problem and they checked and agreed my problem and told me that i will get new handset bcoz this model is not repairable. After that i was called from sony service center and they was told that your phone has not covered on warranty and you will pay for it beacuase it has a water damage problem and our IP rating indicate that your phone is rejected for changing. I am telling you sir that my phone is water resistance features and i read all the contidition about water resistance that company give to covered warranty, So, i never ignored the condition of water resistance and my phone has not physical damages but still they refuses my phone problem and rejected and told that your phone has not covered on warranty. They also showed this features on advertisement and sites. i attached my job sheet reports which get from sony and also some of the phone water resistance features photos with this mail. I hope that i will give some satificaion reply and hopefully for your help. i need help sir. Thanks.

                              I purchased a Sony Xperia ZR last year(23/6/2013) and on 23/3/2014 its screen cracked. I went to the Sony Service Center in Bangalore and reported the issue. People there told me that this phone is not under accidental warranty and I told them that I am ready to pay the charges for the screen replacement. Then they tell me that this phone cant be repaired and they will replace it with a new phone and asked me to submit a draft of 16000.00/- along with the damaged phone for the replacement. I reported the issue in Sony Complaint website (Service Request: 1-[protected]) and they replied back stating that they cant repair the screen because repairing a single phone at a time would cost them more and insisted on phone replacement (which cost way higher than that would cost me for screen repair). Why are they manufacturing a phone that cant be repaired. If someone purchases it, he is like trapped to pay them 16, 000/- to get the phone repaired. They are more concerned about the cost that they will have to bear for the repair, and so are trying to lure the customer to go for the replacement phone with paying extra charges. If they cant repair the screen, they should provide the new phone at the same cost as that of the screen repair. They should have clearly mentioned this at the time of purchase that this particular phone cant be repaired. They are trying to make a fool out of their customers. Kindly look into this matter. I m attaching the email conversation between me and the company customer support on this matter. I will give you a clear idea of what they are doing.

                                Complaint was registered with Customer Care on 19th February 2014, and complaint number was given as 17890428 which was assigned to M/s. Aar vee info Services. (AVS) More than one month is over, no action has been taken so far.                                   I had purchased Sony Xperia Z with proper bill and is still under warranty. I was clicking pictures on a hot and humid day in sunlight using the phone in India, when suddenly I noticed a hair line crack appeared on the screen and half my touch screen went dead. Now I just want to make it very clear there was no physical impact and I did not drop the phone, It was in my hands when suddenly this hairline crack appeared. There appears to be an issue with the Glass display as it was not even durable enough to stand temperature changes. I have taken it to the authorized service center in Pune and they have refused to take it under warranty saying that the crack is because of a physical damage. On further argument they have taken the phone outside warranty and said they will send it to sony for inspection and will come up with an amount that would take sony to replace the phone. They said it could go as high as 17500. I see that the internet is full of similar complaints and there are numerous forums and petitions for this faulty Glass issue with Xperia Z. This clearly suggests that I am not the only one with this issue and there are thousand others. Sony service centers in India still denies it. Its high time they acknowledge this issue and recall faulty handsets.                                     Hello, I had given my mobile charger for service with cable on 11th feb 2014 and I was said that sony will give call once its done and till date I never got a call from sony. On 24 th March I realised that I have forgot to collect my charger and I went there and gave my receipt and they gave me my charger without cable. When I asked for cable they replied that I have not given and its not mentioned in Receipt, I said that I am 100% sure that I have given to you guys. As its my mistake that without seeing the receipt I signed it and left the place on 11th as I was in rush. I had almost 15 min conversation with engineer and at last when I loosed my temper and raised my voice and asked for Manager in charge Mr. Ravi came yes with attitude saying its not mentioned in receipt and I replied at least to me first before saying anything. I said that I am very sure that I have given my charger with cable if you have doubt check your CCTV Camera you will come to know and he said to some other guys check it out and let him know as if I am beggar. receptionist said give your mobile no in evening we wll call you and let you know that your cable is there or not and till now there is call from sony. Its been ridiculous from Mr. Ravi with Lethargic approach showing to guest . I had purchased the sony mobile thinking that its best brand in market with superb service but service provided by you guys is seriously disaster. I think sony should stop operating service centre at least local vendor have courtesy to listen to guest. but you guys are useless.                                       Hi Team, I purchased Sony Xperia Z1 on 21st March and subsequently upgraded to 4.4 Kit Kat. Since then, I am facing series of issues with the handset : 1. Battery is getting drained very fast. 2. Phone is not getting charged when the phone is on. It displays message "The connected power source is not sufficient. The battery is draining faster than it is charging. Minimize your device usage while charging". Hence, I have to switch off the handset and then keep it for charging. 3. The handset is getting heated up very quickly even with moderate use. I was using Sony Xperia Z before this but never faced this level of heating issue 4. The camera application shuts down suddenly after 2-3 minutes o[censored]sage displaying that the handset is heated up and wait for it to cool down to use this application. I went to Sony Service centre yesterday i.e 24th March and raised this issue. I gave the handset to them under ticket ID [protected]. Today I collected the handset. They said that there was software issue which has been resolved. Its very unfortunate to notice that I am still facing the same issue and have seen no improvement at all. This is something which I didnt expect from such a big company like Sony. I am a loyal customer of Sony and this is my fourth handset I am using (Xperia Z1, Xperia Z, Xperia Pro, Sony Ericsson K750i). Please let me know if this issue is across all Xperia Z1 handsets after 4.4 Kit Kat update or it is handset specific issue. If it is former issue then please update when the new firmware is expected to arrive to rectify these bugs. If it is handset specific issue then kindly take necessary action to resolve my problem.

                                        I purchased a Sony Xperia P and it has been one year since you are not responding to me. And I will make sure I don't purchase any Sony product from now and also make sure others also do the same. My phone always hangs and I am not able to receive any calls. You suggested to perform a factory reset and also to repair the software. I did all u said still the phone doesn't works. I didn't expected such thing from SONY and that to with a new phone. I think i wastes my 21k on it. And I also don't want a reply that"sir you may visit the service center." Get the phone replaced or else I will have to purchase Other phones from Good brands Like SAMGSUNG wch unlike Sony don't have any problems.
