Dear Sir I bought sony xperia M in November and a week back its LCD got some problem and half of it has got scratches while the touch pad is working fine.All softwares are also working fine.I visited the Tambaram located service Center where people were talking in a very pathetic way. Even the manager is refusing to submit the phone telling if you want to submit you have to pay.Kindly tell me the procedure to change the LCD as the phone is still under warranty.Please donot left the only choice to register a case in consumer court.

    Bought sony 42 ex 420 led tv got repaired within a month of purchase and they said a chip had gone and they replaced it now after 2 years the tv is having a lot of issus it does not show up image at all a complaint had been raised with Sony customer care and the ref no: 18803400.. Not even a single person from their service centre turned up even after 5 days. The service agent doest not even pick the calls. The after sales and service is the worst I had ever seen.

      Dear Sir: I purchased Sony TV KLV37S400A in Oct 2008. Exactly 5.5 years after purchase, the TV went dead. When I power ON the TV, its power light blinks 8 times and picture never comes. I filed complained (No:[protected] with Sony on 21 April 2014. The complaint was assigned to NRI Electronics, Ghaziabad. The technician visited my house and told that TV needs to be taken to service center for repair. I took TV to their service center on 26 April for repairs and left it there. For 3 days, they never reverted to me on its diagnosis. When I tried to call them - there is no response !! SONY's Greater Noida service center[protected] never picks up the phone. Their Ghaziabad service center[protected]/4296677) picks up the phone at their "will". I need to repeatedly call them to get the status on my TV job. When "someone" does pick up the phone, the standard answer from operator is that the job progress has not been updated online yet and they have to check with their technical team and revert to me within 15 min. However, those "15 min" never come. I need to keep calling them repeatedly to get the progress of my TV repair. After much repeated tireless calling, the service center reverted and told me that mother board has gone defective and it needs to be replaced. I was told that replacement cost is @INR 6.5K and it will take 2-3 days for repair- which I okayed. And then again there was complete silence from their side. Today, after multiple repeated calling attempts, my call was finally picked up by their service center staff. I was told that my TV is beyond repair and I need to purchase a new one. I was surprised to hear this!! Are SONY branded products supposed to last only 5 years !! And why I should be held liable to pay 100% amount for new TV without any compensation from Sony. I see this as a trick by SONY to fool customers by not repairing their TV but forcing them to buy new one. I am looking forward to get a favourable help/response from your side in getting my TV either repaired or fully compensated by Sony. I have lost trust and confidence in SONY brand.         I had purchased a Sony Xperia SP in August'13 & I am very unhappy with the handset. Some of my colleagues also purchased along with me. Infact, we were thinking of doing some tie up with Sony for our customers. We presently have such tie ups with Samsung & Nokia. I am Deputy General Manager with Idea Cellular and opted for Sony based on the product specifications, strong brand & service support. I am hugely dissatisfied with the handset and demand it to be replaced with a fresh one ASAP. It worked well for 1st couple of months and is giving the following trouble in recent time : 1. Gets hanged multiple times and needs to be reset after opening the back cover 2. Gets heated up 3. Takes time to retrieve contact 4. Camera gets activated on it own 5. Ringer volume changes on it own Have also contacted contact centre and visited one service centre which was over crowded. Both have not been of much help. I am totally fed up with this piece and wants it to be replaced ASAP. Kindly let me know, how to proceed on it. Thanks Vipin S.           Hi, I have purchased a sony xperia Z1 in the month of October[[protected]].Recently i have registered a complaint as my cap cover for memory card slot was missed. I was advised by the service center that i have to take care of the phone hereafter cautiously as they cannot provide that cap cover it seems. This is completely unreasonable. People should have advised about these un repairable problems while getting the phone. Instead i was only brainwashed by the Pro’s.It is very sad to know that such an awesome phone could be giving so much pain to me right now. i believe that i did not man handle it in such a hard way to get it broken. I have not been given a proper response from the authorized service centre.[S.S Electronics, Ameerpet, hyderabad] FYI, The phone has still not crossed the 1year warranty time as well as when the issue was brought noticed to the service centre and registered complaint with Sony it was under accidental damage cover protection also.I was informed from the Authorized service centre that this problem cant be solved by them and it ll not come under any warranty/coverage. Then what the purpose in spending such a huge amount and buying this phone. Practically speaking the main significance of the phone is it is water resistant, camera etc. If the cover is not provided how is that possible to take care of the phone which is currently in good condition now.It may damaged the mobile completely in near future. I cannot accept for paying 50% or 20% for a single small cap cover. .It is very much frustrating as i am not getting a proper response.Please do help me out as it is giving me alot of stress and mental torture .             Worst Product Sony Mobile... Not to purchase... Worst Service...


            I had purchased Sony Xperia ZL, when it upgraded to Jelly Bean 4.2.2 in the Camera Option In the Manual Setting if you select 13 mega pixel there will be small hole in if you take the photo, so i had given for service on 5th, and then they returned back on 8th but, after taken back from the service center but noting has been repaired, and again on 9th i had returned back they told they will send for the main service center it will take 7 to 10 day's of time. So i had waited till 21st if i call to the service center they used to say still your states is pending, then i sent the mail to the sony and civil complain mail, then on the same day evening for the sony service center i go the call saying your mobile will be replaced, from the service center person he told that Xperia ZL no stock is available, so they told they replace with the Xperia Z, i told it is ok, for that replacement it will take 1 week time, so i waited till 25th morning, from the service center your mobile is been replace you can come and collect then, I went at `12PM at 12:30PM i received the replaced mobile, it was looking like some old second end mobile then i checked the settings in the camera there was the same issue which i had in the Xperia ZL, then and there i waited till 1:30PM and returned back, And they told you need to wait for another one more week, then i told its not possible i need it on Monday i told, they told let me try my best they told form the service center.

            Then on the same day night i sent angain to the sony and civil complain mail, till i am not satisfied on saturday 26th i called to the customer care i spoke to the persons Mr. Ashoke and MR. Utshav for 32min they told till the states is not received to us, you need to wait for another 1 more week, then i told i cant wait for 1 week and all i need my headset on monday he told its not possible, then i told them at least i need a confirmation from your side, he accepted for that.

            On monday 28th apr 2014 at after noon 3PM again i called to them i spoke with them for 45 min they are trying to convenience me only not to solve the issue...

            So please friends don't purchase the Sony product its my experience... please don't go for sony product...

              1. I ordered a W85 - 42 Sony TV with Choice Palace, Jayanti Market (Jaipur) on 25th April 2014 and made the advance payment of Rs 10'000 on 25th itself. 2. The person in charge (Mr Kamal - [protected]) made few calls in my presence and confirmed the availability of the model and that it will be delivered the next day. 3. On 26th April (morning), Mr. Kamal called back and informed the TV is no longer available and if required he can deliver either a different size 40 or 47 (illuminus). He also indicated he has spoken to everyone concerned including the regional manager for the availability. I however was insistent I only need size 42 and since it is no longer available (and can take 7 days), he suggested he will return the advance payment. 4. After a few hours, Kamal called back saying he has found a set available and it will be delivered in the evening. 5. The set was delivered and installed on 26th April (evening around 8pm) by the Sony Service Center (Mr. Tanuj [protected]). 6. It seems the set was not from Choice Palace but Mr. Kamal had found another shop to deliver the same. 7. Mr Tanuj indicated during the installation the Guarantee card is not in the box which is a surprise (on the box sides there is a green sticker indicating "S warranty card inserted". 8. Next day (during daytime), i found the TV itself seems used (there were marks on the TV, some cracks on the edges). Also, a new TV usually has some stickers (on the sides) which confirm it is new. This TV had no stickers etc. 9. I called Mr. Kamal and informed him of the above. Since the TV was not from his shop, he indicated he had not seen the set but ordered directly from another shop and he will call them to check the same. He called back after some time indicated the new shop confirmed the TV was new and not the demo version (which apparently is still in his shop). 10. As for the guarantee card, Mr. kamal indicated this can happen sometimes that the guarantee card is lost and that since I have the bill it should be ok. 11. I was not convinced of the above and persuaded him I do need the guarantee card with the details of this particular set. Kamal then suggested he will order a new guarantee card. As for the cracks etc, he informed he will send someone to have a look. My questions are; 1. If Mr. Kamal had checked everywhere including the regional manager and confirmed there is no availability, how did he find a new model in few hours? 2. Is it possible that the guarantee card be misplaced inside the box? Mr Tanuj from the service center will confirm this that the card was not there since he had come personally for the installation. 3. The TV has all indication of it been used earlier (corners etc) and there is no indication of a new tv. Can you inform on indicators which confirm it is a new model? 4. The packed box itself is old (the inside boxes are also torn and old). 5. How can I check if the bar code indicated on the box matches with the TV delivered? 6. Can you confirm if the bar code is of a new (not a demo TV) and that it was shipped recently to this new shop? Please note, a packed box is no confirmation, since I too can repack very easily.                 hi sir i had already complained about sony bravia led tv and my complaint number is 18602312 filed on 14 april, i have been calling your customer care people and sent mail also but still dint got any proper answer of settling for the solution and i am ready to pay extra bugs for big and better tv. but still you people are ready to service when i call caleecenter people they we are sorry how many tilmes do i need to call you people with out any solution due to viewing of your damaged tv my sight increased and very frustating situation which is making me to go for consumer complaint and no need your apologies at all i need solution, sony cheating indian consumers by providing defective products to consumers this is my second experience with sony dont go with sony brand really worst service than indian companies thanking you suman [protected]

                  While closing the charging port with the cover of my mobile Xperia ZR, for few minutes it remains closed and it gets opened automatically. I had given my phone to service center in Panvel, ie dg mobile service. One month is going to complete, till now the service of my mobile is not yet completed, they are delaying the service of my mobile. Since I had purchased this mobile Sony Xperia ZR at rs 25000, just 3 months before, and also they are not assuring the condition of phone to maintain in service. And also they are not providing me a replacement or refund for my mobile. This is the worst service, i've faced from Sony mobile company. I am totally dissatisfied with it. Sufiyan [protected]

After 4 months of its purchase, I am facing problem.My handset Mic is not working.For this I gave my phone to Sony service center at cannought place(ticket ID [protected] ).When I got the handset on 26/04/2014, I am facing the same problem.When I call the customer care they say I have to revisit the service center.                       I purchased a Sony TV model KDL40ex520 in January 2012 at a cost of Rs.65000/- . Around 10/4/2014, I noticed a problem of peculiar discolouring of screen. The screen had a horizontal line running roughly at half the height the screen. Below the line ( bottom half), picture appears to be OK, but above the line, picture is highly discoloured. ( images attached). I tried different inputs and various screen settings including factory reset, but the problem persisted. I then lodged a complaint with Sony Customer Care who gave an Complaint Id: 18608020. Sony India sent an engineer to inspect the TV who told me that the lcd panel of the set has failed and will have to be replaced. He told that the cost of panel replacement will be Rs. 22000/-. Since the TV had just completed two years, I decided to take up the matter with Sony India. I requested Sony TV India, through their Customer Care Service, to arrange replacement of the panel, free of cost or at concessional rates as the TV has just completed two years of service. After about a week of persuasion, I was informed that the panel will be replaced ONLY on payment of about Rs. 22000/-. Since Sony is a trusted brand all over the world and Sony products, particularly, high value items, are expected to give service for a reasonable period. More over, I have checked with different forums, a lot of customers are facing the same/similar issues with this model only. As such it, appears that this particular model has some manufacturing defects from the very beginning. I therefore request Sony India management to arrange replacement of lcd panel of my TV, free of cost, as a special case. Regards, Sanjeev Prasad 91-[protected]

                        I had purchased Sony Xperia SP mobile. It had been giving me constant trouble within a few months of its purchase. It was given to the SONY Service Centre at kamla nagar for rectifying the problem of frequent display fliker and over heat up problem. Thereafter I had sent this mobile for similar problems and replacement of defective screen and heating. Unfortunately, within few days of the last servicing, it again had similar problems and also getting switched off on its own. Having gone through a long period of harassment after purchasing an expensive mobile, I had lost complete confidence on this handset and it would not be possible for me to accept this set even if it get repaired by the service center. I also called Sony Ericsson Customer Care, but that was also of no use. .

                          Hello Sir/Madam, I purchased one XPERIA ZR phone on 09/03/2014 and it has a problem with mice and over heating in normal mode after 3 days, and given it into the Benchmark InfoTech (Authorized service center) in Bangalore . they told me that issue with the software. at the same day I had the same problem, again took in to the same service center they updated the software and gave to me. but still am facing the issue, again i took the phone to the same service center and ask for the replacement 19/apr/2014. last time receptionist also feeling the heat issue. but yesterday i got a call from service center and they told me that your phone has no issue its not possible for replacement. last week when am try to contact to the sony customer care they feel my mice problem. from 9/mar/2014 to till date 7 days my phone is in service center. so i request all of you that look this issue with high priority and replace my mobile

                                my name is jeffin vargheese .i have sony xperia ion buy from doha i year back now its not working so go to sony service centre in thrissur i tell my problem to ur excutive they told me we not service my product bcoz of its brout from outside then i go to other sony service centre they recive and my complait now the problem they saying is they order the battry of ion didnt get the battery from company plz solve my issue 2 mionths iam waiting for my phone

                                  Hi This is Naveen Kumar. I am a Sony customer since last 5 years From Walkman series to Xperia 4 different models I used, The problem is with the latest Xperia C2305, I bought it in 22nd Oct 2013. 4 Problems with in 6 months. Please read below for the details of the issues. 1st problem: The first problem was in the first week after purchasing it, Issue: Screen gets enlarges when double Tap anywhere on screen, I took it to the Store where I bought it (Sangeetha mobile store- Opp to ATC Ameerpet) they did some Indian type of mechanism and it worked fine, I was Happy. 2nd Issue: I was out of town (Tirupathi) Screen went blank (phone was in the pocket) cant sense anything when tapped, I was out of phone for 1 day when not in the home city (Horible feeling) I kept it for charging for 8Hrs, fortunately screen turned On by its own. 3rd Issue: same with the screen. I was going to office listening songs in the Car thru AUX cable, I unplugged the phone, to my surprise I screen OFF again I was afraid, took it to the service centre next day in ameerpet X roads Elephant house. Pathetic experience with the Manager Ms.Kavitha (S S Electronics) she was very rude and very least bothered about the phone and about my concern, she was not at all ready to at least to listen to my issues, she bluntly said submit mobile and we'll update once it is repaired, I asked to give some letter or something to replace it with some other mode (Sony) only, she was not ready, she wanted me to talk to Customer care I did so, on[protected]. Complaint No. 52706. No proper response. 4th Issue: same with the SCREEN. Last week Phone was in my pocket again went blank, I again took it to same service centre (S S Electronics) they changed the screen. I am not at all happy with THIS mobile. I here request you to look into the issue, as I don't trust this mobile as this seems to be the defect product, I might get same problem again in few days, I'm ready to exchange it with other Model of Sony like Z or other I'll bare the difference amount or I demand a replacement. If I don't get a satisfactory solution for my concerns, I'm also ready to file complain in Consumer forum. Hope there must be someone to help me. If not, this WILL be our LAST Sony product in our family, and I will spread this word to all and you know what will be the impact. Details about the phone. Mathura Road, -New Delhi-110044 (India) Sub:- My Job No. 40625729/Camera DSC-HX300/Black Respected Sir, My old Camera Model No DSC-H1/E-32 which Picture was defocus, for which I complaint in Service Center, at the very time I was directed that at discount of Rs. 9036.00 and to pay Rs. 17501.00 for Replacement new Camera Model No. DSC-HX300 / Black. So I submitted D.D. No. 967875 of Amt. Rs. 17501.00 of SBI Branch Behata Saboli, Aliganj, Lucknow dt.[protected] at Services Centre. Against my Job No. 40625729 I received the same model Camera but 4GB Memory Card & HDMI Cable are not in the packing. Since it is clearly mention on the packing that the 4 GB memory card & HDMI Cable are not in the Packing. It is for your kind information & Necessary action. So I can receive the same.                                       I am a practicing advocate in Madras High Court. I purchased Sony Z Ultra on 19th November 2013 for Rs45000(prevailing price then). I purchased online through Flipkart. However on 26th of this month June, 2014 suddenly the phone went blank and frozen.Immediately I approached their service dealer in Chennai, Repair and Return Technology Pvt Ltd, Pantheon Road, Egmore on the same day. I explained the issues. They took my phone and gave a job ticket no:W[protected] and after examining my phone they promised to deliver on the same day. I waited nearly for 4 hours on 26/06/2014. However in the evening they asked me to come there on the next day to get back my phone. Hence on 27th morning I called them but they asked to call in the evening. But for one reason or the other every time they used to ask me to call now and then. Even after 5 days the mobile is not delivered to me. They are avoiding and simple dodging this issue. I never thought sony will cheat people like this. I am really worried. If this is happening even to an advocate, I shudder to think what is the plight of the common man.
                                      Sony must have replaced my mobile with a new one or atleast refund my money.

                                        Hello Sir, I have purchased Sony Xperia "c" mobile on 6 Feb. 2014. My phone is not detecting the memory card. Whenever i am inserting a memory card into my phone, my all phone data is deleted automatically and phone is also not detecting the memory card. If i am connecting my phone with laptop without inserting any memory card then my laptop is also not detecting the phone memory. I purchased this phone from SS PHONES, SHOP NO.1 KAMAL COMPLEX, MI ROAD, PANCH BATTI, JAIPUR, M.NO [protected] Yesterday when i went to the shop from which i have purchased the phone, a person at that shop was giving me excuses like virus and all. After they have formatted my phone. But still they my phone is not detecting the memory card. Now they are saying that i have to visit their service center and all. This was my first time that i have chosen Sony and see the response this phone has not worked well more than 2 months. It’s my request to Sony please my resolve my problem as soon as possible.
