I purchased a mobile of Sony xperia tippo(st21i) single sim, in the year 30/08/2013.I have given my mobile for software update and touch problem in Sony service centre (j.S mobile care annapurna complex chaithanyapuri, dilsuknagar hyderabad) the service boy told me that your mobile waranty is over when I have waranty bill (invoice) in that warranty bill from 30/08/2013 to 30/08/2014 ...and he told that your mobile will give within 3 days after checking of this problems... But today (05/03/2013) I went to service centre he told me that your will be return after 7 days ...I asked why so long it takes minimum 7 days...to repair..

    I am an unsatisfied user of Sony Xperia J phone. I have purchased the phone on 5th March, 2013 from an authorised dealer, with IMIE No-[protected]. I have attached the scan copy of the bill. Since the date of purchase I have repair my phone online several times as instructed on Sony PC companion. Other then this I have a long history of spending my most of the weekends at Sony service centre. Please refer the below details for that. 1) After purchase of 2 months, my phone started showing red borders around the screen when I switch from one screen to the other. This problem was very severe hence to resolve the issue I updated my phone software as instructed on Sony PC companion, After that the issue got resolved. 2) After this on 8th August, 2013 I purchased a Sony Bluetooth device SBH-20 from the Sony centre itself. When I used to connect this device to my phone, the phone used to get switched off. Considering the severity of this problem I gave my phone to Sony service centre located at Tambaram, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. I received my phone back on the same day and I was told by the authority that the issue has been resolved. When I asked for the delivery sheet I was refused to provide the same by the centre authority. I doubt the authority of Sony service centres!! 3) After getting the phone back within the week it started showing the new issue. When I used to talk over the phone the phone used to restart automatically without doing anything and also in the call log it was not showing the detail of the caller to whom I was talking before it got restart. Facing this issue often, I was irritated a lot and again I gave the phone to same service centre located at Tambaram for repairing. Service Centre people changed the PCB OF the phone. With the new IMIE No-[protected]. I have attached the scan copy of the delivery sheet. 4) After getting the phone with changed PCB, within a week phone was not able to connect the calls itself, Meanwhile if anybody tried to call me, the caller used to get the message that the number was not reachable. (It is not my SIM card service provider issue because I am staying with 4 other people in the same house and all are using the same service provider SIM card and other then me, nobody is facing this issue). After waiting very long, turning on/off my phone several time, my phone used to show the normal operation. Since the phone was not doing the basic functionality for which it was meant, I gave it to the Sony service centre located at Greams road, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Since I was irritated of the poor service provided by Tambaram Sony service centre. I got my phone back after 2 weeks (Please find the attached copy of delivery sheet). 5) Just after a week of getting the phone back from service centre, this phone is not at all working. It is not connecting the calls maximum time and I am also not able to receive the calls. A phone is useless box if it is not able to connect or receive the calls itself!! Today I have left 3 hours earlier then my office timing and have travelled 34km, just to reach to the Sony service centre., Greams Road, Chennai. As per the bill I have got my phone warranty is expiring on 5th March, 2013. But as per cervice centre person my phone warranty has expired before 4th Mand by march, 2013, and I was also not provided with the other stand by phone. Since I am a working girl I have to struggle a lot to get the time to go to service centre. But most of the weekends I have spent in Sony service centre, Or repairing the phone online as per instructed on Sony PC companion!!! I seriously don’t have time to west for coming Sony service centre again and again. I am highly dissatisfied with the Sony brand and the Sony service centre. This is the first phone of my life which I have purchased with the money earned by myself hence I was very optimistic and emotionally attached with the phone. I searched a lot about all the brands before purchasing the phone and I chose Sony to go with, with the hope of having long lasting relationship with Sony and I spent about 16000 INR to buy the phone and have a happy bonding with the product and Sony corporation. I was feeling that the Sony was well reputed and trustworthy brand, but now I feel I am cheated by the brand and as a customer I will never suggest any body to buy Sony products as the Sony service is also very poor. Today you are losing the trust of one customer, tomorrow may be of thousands. I want the money back which I have spent for the phone as throughout the year I have never used this phone satisfactorily and most of the time it has been in service centre only. Or I want the model replacement. I am completely irritated and annoyed with the product. This mail is my last effort to get rid of this problem. I am going to file a case in consumer court against the Sony corporation since the product and the response of the service centre team is completely disappointing

      Hi, I had purchased a Sony Vaio laptop on 8th October 2013 from Ahmedabad.

      The details about the model are as follows:
      Model: SVF14212SNB
      Serial No:[protected]
      Service tag no: C10H04WF

      This laptop is highly defective with the hardware. Below mentioned is the repair history of my laptop:

      1.) First problem in Mid January: Internal speakers started to heat up and within 10 minutes the speakers shut down. in next 3 days the laptop shut down completely and did not start at all.
      I gave the laptop to your service center in Ahmedabad and they took 15 days to repair the laptop. I was provided with pathetic service. The engineer told me after 15 days that he has "TAKEN SPEAKERS FROM ANOTHER LAPTOP AND INSTALLED IT IN MY LAPTOP". I had very specifically asked him whether this will cause a problem in future and he said there will be no problem.

      2.) Mid February: Internal speakers again heated up and stopped working completely. Battery life of my laptop has deteriorated completely. Stand by time is only 2 hours on normal usage and low brightness.
      This is not the kind of product I expected after paying such a high amount for a Sony product. Every month there is a new problem with the laptop. I have a traveling job and I cannot afford to keep going to a service center every month and give laptop for 10 days. My entire work schedule is disturbed because of your defective product.
      If I have to use a defective laptop even after paying 35000 rupees then what is the point of buying a branded Sony laptop. The quality of your product is third grade. Just because there is a warranty on your product doesn't mean that Sony can provided such defective and low quality products. I had to undergo huge financial loss
      due to this laptop. I am requesting you to replace this defective laptop. I cannot afford to go to a service center every now and then. Sony needs to take responsibility for their defective products. This is my sincere request to you to replace this defective laptop, otherwise I will have to register a complain with the Consumer Protection Forum (NCDRC). I have already sent a copy of this email and entire case details to my lawyer. But I expect Sony to take care of this matter without any further problems.

      I have submitted my complaint to Sony Customer Care email address more than 2 weeks back and i received an email from Mr. Rahul Semwal asking for further details. I submitted the required details to him. And since then i have not received any correspondence from him on my complaint. This is highly unprofessional on part of Sony.

      I have emailed your "sonyindia.[protected]@ap.sony.com" exactly 6 times stating my complain about your low quality product, Every time I have either not been replied back or there is a standard reply which contains a complain request no.

      Once my email was replied by one of your customer care executive (Mr. Rahul Semwal) and he asked for some details in that email. I provided him with the details and he did not even have the courtesy of replying to my email. What is going on at Sony ? Don't you take your customers seriously ?

        I purchased Sony Xperia ZR on February last week 2014. am facing a problem that my phone cover opening repeatedly from charging point. How your company manufacturing this water proof mobiles i don't know. Why you are wasting our money?. You are the best branded company, you are not maintaining standards. Now this phone water proof or not?. Now what can I do?. Please suggest me what should i do. how can you solve my problem?.

          Sir, I purchased a Sony LED TV (Model Name KLV-40EX430 IN5, Serial No.3305502) from CROMA Ground Floor, KENCES Towers, No.1, Ramakrishnan Street, North Usman Rd, T.Nagar Chennai-600017 vide Invoice No.SLF02A[protected] dated 30.5.2013 and as given in the Product Information, the TV's warranty is valid upto July 2014. Suddenly on 12th Feb. 2014, the said TV went out of order, the screen was black & blank and nothing was functioning. We lodged a complaint to the customer care (Toll Free No.[protected]and the complaint no. is 17827. One Mr. Santosh from the nearest Service Centre attended the complaint and informed that the Board was not functioning and had to be replaced. On persistent chasing, we were told that the defaulted part (board) had to come from Delhi and hence the delay. Later, on gentleman came with the fresh Board to replace the old faulty board, but to our dismay that Board was also not working. When contacted the customer care again, they informed that the board needs to be imported from Singapore, with the result that the complaint is still pending even after a period of 20 days. Since it is already over 20 days, if the complaint is not successfully settled and set the TV in proper working condition within one week (after replacing the mother board with a fresh new one), I will approach the Consumer Forum to settle the issue seeking a replacement warranty.               Dear Team, I bought a Sony Xperia Z1 on 18th January 2014, after few days o[censored]sing the mobile phone there were color dots (broken pixel) appeared on the phone;I went to a Sony Center they replaced in one weeks time, now again after using it for hardly 12 days i find that this new handset is BEND (no physical damage & i don't keep the phone in my pockets to carry ), your company says that Sony Xperia Z1 has uni-body design which i don't find on my new handset. Now i have some questions in my mind:- 1. Do you have a Proper Quality Check Team ????(everytime a mobile cant have a Manufacturing Defect) 2. What kind of expectations should I have from a company like Sony(because i am not buying a Micromax or Karbonn handset, as per my perception which i now believe might be wrong that Sony makes world's most finest mobiles) ? 3. Every time when i get a new product from your end with high expectations i spend Rs 1500 for the front & rear scratch guards, also i pay for the new softwares which i have to buy worth Rs 1000, do i have to pay every time for going through this Mental Trauma ? Please answer my questions in the above order. If I don't get a proper explanations i would be very sad to take you to Consumer Forum. Thanks & Regards. [protected]

              Relying on the brand value of Sony and my previous experiences in television, audio systems, cameras I had bought sony Xperia z1 mobile phone for the first time on[protected] with IMEI no [protected]. The phone got little wet in rain it was working after the rains in the night but the next day it was completely dead . The service centre I visited informed me that water has gone inside so that is the reason it is not working. I put forward the argument that is supposed to be water resistant and pat came the reply that the cap must be open and then they showed me something inside the slot which was red in colour. Even on insisting that the cap was closed for sure also it had a cover on it they did not agree on the same( I think they should have a surveillance on the person buying this phone as he or she may not prove his case otherwise). I was told that this is the litmus test that proves that the water has gone inside. I have to know how you are so sure by this method that the cap was open at that time or due to your manufacturing defect the water has gone inside. In my other pocket there was this basic phone of NOKIA (which was not supposed to be water resistant)OF Rs. 2000/- which is perfectly working . The ads features the phone used in water But I think this a perfect example for trick photography as my experiences says that it does not withstand a little trickle of rain
              This is a classic example that The consumer trusts a brand such as sony and pays a sum of more than Rs. 40000/- for a phone and in return they are not trusted by the company when the time comes for some consumer complaints I would like the other consumers to be aware of such false claims by brands . Once you have paid your hard earned money for brands at the time of standing of their commitments we have to prove everything and the companies are always right. I have learned one thing never to trust this company blindl and any body buying z1 or z2 beware. Please sony reply to my concern
              Hi, I was using Sony Xperia SL which i purchased through online from EBAY, I was using that handset for the past 2 yrs and the experience was wonderful, thinking the same i found Sony Xperia Z1 very attractive and bought it through the local dealer POORVIKA mobiles on 02/11/2014 evening 8Oclock, and the on Monday i kept it for charging the whole day and started using the mobile on Tuesday and i found out the mobile was not picking up proper signal and getting disconnected while speaking, and on Wednesday i called the local dealer where i purchased from and explained the fault and they said they will suggest the nearest branch for me to visit but i was not convinced because when i called them for purchasing they did not refer the nearest branch so i told them that i will go to the same branch after that they said they cannot do anything and asked to contact the Sony service center and on the mean time the lower part of the screen was turning blue on Friday and when i restarted it became normal and it happened two times and Saturday i went to the Sony service center which is in pantheon road, egmore, Chennai, they checked and said the handset does not have any problem and returned it and i went to the local dealer i purchased and explained and one sales person came with me and gave the handset to check again and again they returned stating there is no problem, but still i am having the same problem. i wanted you to understand that i am not ready to spend 32000NR for a faulty device. and i wanted you to take it serious and rectify by changing the handset.IME # [protected]
              i bought a new sony xperia z1 compact but after 4 months when i plugged in to chage my phone it didnt respond then i went to sony service station srinagar they repaired my phon but after that i found my phone not responding well, , , , , sometimes its lock key gets jam ..and sometimes its settings gets change automatically, , , i am very much disappointed ...since my phone is under warranty so i request to sony company to replace my handling phone and give me a new one...
              i brought sony xperia z1 on 13:05:2014, in recently i have some problem in my mobile, my mobile are water proof but i can't check it after buying mobile, yesterday my mobile are wet in rain water and water are entered in mobile lens and camera button are on in automatically, i will complaint in sony service center in pondycherry they will not do any response, and low knowledge person in sony service center, they will not have knowledge about mobile then they are take my mobile pictures without any reason, and in pondicherry service center have not more facilities to service mobile, within two days my mobile warrenty are finished in this time the sony service center person are say you can service your mobile in chennai, its manufacturing defect, i can't have time to go chennai pls notice my complaint my mobile number is [protected] and my IMEI number [protected],

                Sir, with due concern i m writting this letter to infrm u that i brought the set on 4th jan, 2014. The phone started to hang on the same day itslf. i visited to the shop from where i brought it, they told me to visit the sony service center. i visited there, they updated it. but the poblm arisd from the next day itslf. i have visited to service center many times and now i m fedup of visiting there. it is now just the burden. My 7k is just a loss. sony has really upset me. i cant use the set every time. i do have to carry another set alone with it. kindly look into this matter. and i request you to change the damaged product and supply me with a problem free product.                   Sir, I had purchased sony xperia J mobile and there was a problem in the set from the starting date went to the centre next day of purchase they just formatted it an updated then till now i have given my set 3 times for the same speaker problem and they too at least 2 weeks each time for repairing it now again my set 4th time got the same problem and i ask them please take some serious action against it but they said gain they will repair it. Having the same problem again and again i want company to replace the set but they are not considering my request and i am tired of visiting the service centre again and again.                     sir i bought smartphone from sony in augast 2013 after some days i updated phone to 4.1.2 version from 4.0.4 for somedays phone worked good but then started working bad i negleted due to i have no such time then now phone is working dead slow so decided to update again and baqcking up data in laptop it took 3 hrs but data didnt backed up i went to auth. service center and told databackup problem they answerd very childish...that you go to each folder and select ..copy and paste..whats this??? man this is smartphone???? a RS2000 phone do bettter than this list of problems heats very much after using 3G (my friends do mot dare to use my phone due to its heating) application errors while downloading on 3G hangs and stops responding and need to HARDRESET automatically turn on bluetooth or wifi at any time battery is irregular (if battery is 20% at sleeping time it will bve totally drained but on next time it only drains 5% or anything but phonw will not shutdown) camera...company claims its 12MP but after seen quality friends LAUGHS games pauses autometically ( a playstation certified device) COMPANY CLAIMS 1GB RAM BUT ITS ONLY 680MB i am getting shame on sony after using this phone i am fed up with this phone give me best solution thanks waiting for your reply

                      Dear sir/madam i am using Sony experia L in which from last two weeks i have went to sony service care due to above problems in which i have mentioned.The most frustating thing is they are not providing complete solution and they are not taking the complaint seriously and i don't know why do u appoint such technicians .So i am requesting either to replace my phone or provide solution plz send me immediate reply. thank u

                        Hi My name is Sunny Mehdiratta i purchased Sony mobile Model: Experia Z. The phone suddenly stopped working and when showed this to the Service Center they say they are unable to repair it. My phone is still under warranty as i purchased this on 03/18/2013. They are giving irrelevant reasons that water entered the phone and the Add they show that the phone is water proof. Please take this complaint as your top priority and help me get my phone replaced.                           I brought xperia sp on 27 sep, 2013 after 5 months it went bad. so I gave my cell for repairs to tech shop, rajgarh road on 07 jan, 2014(job id:w[protected]and went to take back my cell on 28 jan, 2014 but my cell was still not repaired so I gave the cell for repair again on 29jan, 2014(job id:w[protected] still they were unable to repair my cell phone again i gave the cell for repairs on 06 feb, 2014(job id:w[protected] but again they didnt repair my cell phone. so I call sony india and asked for their help on which they instructed me to hand ovr my cell phone to the service center again so that my cell phone can be transfer the higher authorities. so I again submittted my cell on 12 feb, 2014 but still they have not repaired or repalced my cell phone I have requested them countless time.they has harrassed me..please help me

                            i have purchased a sony xperia l handset on 15 jan 2014, of 16000 rs and after that it work properly for 3- 4 day and hanging problem arise, i was out station so i submitted my handset on 24 jan 2014 they updated its software n given to me but prob still persist so i again submitted it on 25 jan 14 they again repaired and handed my handset on 27jan2014 but problem persist so i again submitted it on 28 and ask for replacement of my handset n they submitted my handset and told me that a new handset will be provided to me in 3 to 4 days and from that day till now 26 feb2014 i haven't received my handset, around 15 times i have gone through there service centre which is 30+km one side from my house they give me silly excuses about approval and say we wil let you know in 3 working day and now its been a month and there is no news abut my handset. if i ask them to conference me with your authorized or head so tell him about my problem as he can takle, but they say they don't have authority to give no and oll. please help me out m totally frustrate, what should i do ... please please please please

                              my laptop is not detecting wifi ..and also the charge is not remaining for 2 hours..i have complained many times in the custumer care, kottayam ..but they are just servicing the laptop..and giving me back..All these is happening in the warranty period .. So please do any thing so that i can have my laptop to detect wifi..

                                It is really astonishing to see that from past one month same job no:- [protected] which was generated on third week of January 2014 to rectify the problem (unable to do any conversation as the mobile is getting disconnected and switched off) is still not been rectified after three consecutive attempts were made by your Sony Service Centre at Eternity Mall in Thane. The same Job No;-[protected] is being used every time the mobile is given to rectify the problem to the service centre. 1. I have been using your different products like LED T.V. Home Theater etc but didn't face any problem uptill now. 2. Looking into the problem what i can read down the line is improper monitoring of the complain/ job No. 3. Improper training and not updating/ refreshing training being conducted periodically by the manufacturer. 4. The service technicians are circling round the bushes and not hitting the problem(nail) by its head. It is a positive criticism for improving and better managing yielding extra ordinary results. Appreciate for your better understanding in resolving the issue of inefficient working of Sony -Xperia Sola.

                                    Within three months the housing broken(monitor left
                                    corner three inch opened nearly).The Sony service
                                    centre at Coimbatore attended free of cost.Now again
                                    the housing was broken in the right side. please
                                    guide me to replace the full monitor part without any charge

                                      Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to you with a hope to get some solace for the issue that I have been facing for the past one month with Sony Mobile India PVT LTD and their technical support ‘Aaradhya Enterprises Pune’. I purchased a my Sony Xperia L C2104 on the 11th of January 2014 to help me with my work. It was a huge financial step for me as it cost me approx. Rs 15000. To my disappointment the phone was not up to expectations and the standards promised by SONY. It started giving issues of freezing and restarting from day 1. I hoped that it would be an exception occurrence and hoped the performance would improve, however as the issue persisted I took the phone to my ‘Aaradhya Enterprises Pune’ on the 19th of January 2014. I was told to submit the handset, which I did as requested, however to add to my grief the issue was not resolved and they told me that they cannot exchange the phone to a 7day exchange policy. I have since then submitted the phone three times to the service center with no resolution. They also chose to downgrade my OS version without intimating me and told me that now they cannot upgrade as there is currently an issue with the OS version. I have not been able to use my phone for past one month, despite of several attempts to contact SONY customer service and technical support. This has also taken a toll on my work as I currently do not have any other phone (handset) to work with. I sincerely urge you to look into this and help me get a resolution at the earliest. Mentioned below are details of the complaints made and communication sent. First visit @ service center i.e. Aaradhya Enterprize on 19th Jan, 2014. I ask them to replace the handset, & give me the new one, but i was told the replacement policy is only for first 7 days. Service center executive has asked me to submit the handset, but as the handset was new i has not submitted the same. On 20 Jan 2014 I had called to Sony Customer care[protected], they had provided me the complaint number which is [protected] and have ask me to submit the hanset at sony service center. On the same day i had written a mail to sony xperia care website(www.sonymobile.com/in/support/contact-us/contact-form/Phones/phone/en_IN... )describing the issue, i have not yet received any revert on the same. On 22nd Jan, 2014 i have submitted the handset at sony service center with the token number [protected], i have received the handset after 2 day, service center has given me the assurance that all the issue are fixed, and i will not face any problem. After 7 days i was facing the same issue, so i visited the service center on 1st Feb, 2014 @ 10.00 A.M. I had a word with Mr.Shinde (Senior authority) at service center. Mr. Shinde had checked the handset & he informed me that the issue is recurring because of the software, & he asked to handover the handset to him, so that he can upgrade the software to fix the problem. On 13th Feb 2014, ( After 12 days) I was facing the same issue with the handset, so i visited the service center on 13th Feb, 2014. I meet Mr. shinde there, he asked me to submit the handset, so that they can keep the handset under observation for next 24 hours. So on 15th Feb 2014 I went to Service centre to recollect handset, Just to be on the safer side i checked the handset But I found out that the Operating system has been downgraded from Android 4.2.2 to andriod 4.1.2. Ticket No. [protected] Today i.e on 20th Feb i visited the service center, they had given me the complaint number [protected], and had stated that the sony server is down, because of which they can't upgrade the software right now, & have asked me to wait for next 25 days.                                         I had purchased Sony Xperia M dual Mobile on 1/1/14. I had downloaded some games and apps in my mobile on internal memory. As the internal storage for use is only around 1.6 GB, the speed of my mobile got slowed down. So I was trying to move the apps from SD card, but there is no option on my mobile for transferring the apps to SD card. I saw many videos online for how to transfer the apps to SD card in Xperia M. The showed the option which is used to transfer the apps to SD Card. Refer the attached image of my mobile and do the needful to resolve the issue. Regards, Kiran [protected]
