i bought a new mobile on 3 nov 2012 worth rs 30000 but within 10 days after purchasing its speaker is dead.i ask to costumer service for the replacement of phone they tell me phone could not be replaced and u have to submit it in service center . i submit it on 24 nov 2012 but till now my phone is not repaired and i have to purchase as it is from the service center due to some reasons.
now what can i do,i am in tension that my 30000 is wasted
please help me and replace my phone or give my cash back if possible

ive bougt sony xperia neo l 2 mnths back and the camera quality was very poor from the day one. since i have never compared so i didnt knew that it was faulty.but when i compared the phone with one of my friend who is having the same set i came to know thet only my camera images are blur. i submitted my set in service center laxmi nagar two weeks back and since then they have different explanations always. once they said there are no parts available. then next time sir parts are coming from sewden so it is taking time. and yesterday they said sir abhi to parts order kie hai sweden se ane me 1 month to lag hi jaega. i want to ask from sony company if you dont have parts available in india then why are you selling your phones here. sell only in sweden. and please your service center staff is very bad in customer handling. please do something about it and i need my my handset back as soon as possible with all the functions and applications working perfectly. my ticket no is [protected]
The phone Sony xperia GO ST27i which I had purchased in august 2012 is now showing some problem regarding the earphone plug in jack. When I had taken it to the service center here in Indore they reported that there is a problem with the motherboard and the earphones wont work properly because the jack connection with the motherboard is loose. They told me the phone will go under replacement because it cant be repaired manually. Now they have another issue stating that there is a small crack over the front panel down where xperia is written on the handset claiming it to be some hardware damage. They are making silly excuses and not responding properly. I am sending the picture of the phone wherein you can see there is no hardware damage as such. I want my phone to be replaced asap. This is really sad to see the people at the service center not giving proper response. Kindly look into the same.
Also I tried to upload the picture of the phone but there is some problem and it says the file could not be uploaded. Please provide me with another email address wherein I can send the picture.
Please revert back because unless i get a valid reply I wont be able to get my handset replaced.

      I purchased it on 31st Oct. & the touch was very bad after 10 days & now the motherboard also gets defected as per service center & now these people say that they will not give me new replacement , Infact they will repair complete mobile.(Motherboard, Touch & Speaker).

      What i want is complete replacement for my mobile.

      I'm also facing the same issue now. But, the service center people said, we wont replace your mobile & do what you want to do so..
      Its such a poor brand I have been used so far.

        I have given my phone to accel frontline services ltd on 31st october 2012,but till now I didn't get my phone back,their behaviour towards me is also not good,they only extends the date and making me fool,after 2 months of purchase my phone stopped working,please look into my matter and take suitable action..ticket id-[protected].

          Dear Sir i ordered a Sony laptop from timtara on 29/09/2012 and still I have not received the delivery. When I tracked that through the site of timtara, it says that “Awaiting Shipment” (order #[protected] I contacted timtara, they are saying everyday that it will reach today or tomorrow but still its about 63 days already and I have not received it yet. But on the site they had written the status that delivery time will be within 21 days. Why the hell they are writing that they will deliver in 21 days and making false excuses everyday that it will reach. At the time of payment they had taken it already and still not delivering. and even i had tried to cancel this product after 2 months , but they were not canceling and not giving my money back .                 I now feel like; Sony is the world's most cheated company! I have bought Sony Vaio laptop and got 3 coupons, but till now no response! If it is a fraud then India Govt should ban Sony and ask them to pay all the people who got the coupons!

                Hamne 11 Nov.12 ko sony LED Bhilai (CG) se purchase kiya tha aur hamar Draw me Nam bhi aaya hai. lekin aaj 8.4.13 tak hame Gift nahi mila phone karne pe phone bhi nahi uthay jata hai. Hame Congratulation latter bhi mila hai parntu abhi tak sony Xperia mobile nahi maila hai. Sony India hame Behkub to nahi bana rahi hai.

                  I bought a Sony LCD T.V. from a dealer in Lajpat Nagar in Aug - 2011. On 21st Nov'12 the T.V. stopped working, the display was hideous and jumbled though sound was clear. I called up the Sony customer care and an engineer came to my place who informed me that the T.V. Panel is faulty and it would cost approx. Rs. 12000 to get it fixed and there will be no warranty period.

                  I highly disatisfied with the kind of equipments and products Sony has been offering and apparently i am not the only one who has faced this issue.

                  Why would someone spend thousands of rupees on a product that does not even work for 16 Months.

                  Why would the consumers agree to your logo - make.beleive, when the products are not reliable.

                  I can't afford to buy a new T.V. and hence i request you to help me here.

                  Please assist me or i'll have to liase with Media.

                    I bought Sony Digital Camera with 3 years warranty and its expiring on 22/12/2012. It worked well only for 1 year, after that it never worked properly. I got it repaired 2 times with the Sony service center but in vain. It worked again hardly for 1 week after the repair. The service centers are of no use, no one there knows anything about the device. I've got it repaired at the Hazratganj and Indiranagar Sony service center at Lucknow. Only few days of warranty are left. It was my first Sony camera and i had such a bad experience with it. I also filed an online complain with the Sony website and got no satisfactory response from their side also.

                      Sir, due to harrased by the Service Centre of Sony, I had given a complain on 24.11.12. But till now I am not get any reply 4m the complany. Now I came to know that the service centre mentioned in the online that my handset was repaired and disposed off on 22.11.12. But actually the Service Centre had neither repair nor returned me till now. For which I several times I contact with the customer care, and assured me to wait. I also requested to reply the status report to me in the mobile No. [protected] or my Email I.D. [protected]@yahoo.com. But i have not got any communication from the customer. I purchased the handset on 18.02.2012, but the as per the job seet it is mentioned that set was purchased on 18.02.2011 & now it has no warenty.
                      I therefore request you to please look into the matter personally and give the service as per the norm of the company, other-wise I am bound to knok the door the Court as per the law.

                          My name is Nilesh and I purchased a sony cybershot camera DSC-W520/SC E32 dated 15th Dec. 2011, I purchased it from Nagpur, through a dealer ( Roopam Exclusive, UGF 1-2, Shri Ganesh Chamber, Dhantoli, Nagpur - 440012)
                          Below are few detail of the purchase and products;

                          During purchasing, I was said that the battery has 1 years warranty and will get replaced through authorized services center of sony if anything happens.
                          After using it for 8 months, the battery started giving the problem. The issue was “after inserting a battery, camera use to work for 5 seconds and then automatically used to switch off. You could take a picture within this time. If you want to take apicture again, you have to switch it on, take a picture in 5 seconds and again it used to switch off”

                          I put a complain for this issue to Sony’s Nagpur service center ( detail are below)

                          They attained the complaint and reviewed the issues in detail. After their detailed review they told me that the battery is not working correctly and has some problem. They created a job sheet and promised me that they will replace the battery within 7 to 10 days.
                          Job sheet details are –

                          Date – 30th Oct. 2012
                          Battery List – BATTERY-NP-BN[protected]WGJ

                          Now, I was waiting to hear back from them for a replacement but they never responded back. After waiting for 6 days I called them and asked the status, they said that it will take some time. After 12 days I again called them and at this time they said that “the battery which I am using it not compatible with the camera model. So it needs to be replaced.” When I asked for the replacement status they said that they can’t replace it for this reason. I will have to purchase a new battery worth Rs. 2,500 for Rs. 7000 camera which is under warranty.

                          I was shocked, as this is the same battery which I used for last 9 months without any problem. And now, I was told that this is not compatible. I was the single user for this camera and I never allowed anybody to use it. SO I am sure that the battery is the same one which I got with the camera.

                          I got very depressed as;
                          If this was the case then why they( Sony Authorized Service Center Nagpur) did not told me before accepting the claim.
                          Why I had to follow up with my warranty status if issue was with sony’s service center.
                          If I would have not contacted them after 12 days, they would have never bothered to call me back and update with the status.
                          As the product is under warranty, SONY should replace my battery before 5th dec. 2012, as the warranty will not be valid after this date.
                          My camera is still with Nagpur’s Sony service center and I am waiting to here back from them with some good news.

                            I got a mobile 6 months back, it was a Sony ericsson WT19i. After few months, the left button on the phone stopped working (Back button). It is a touch phone. The first complaint register for with Accel Frontline was on 25th Oct 2012, because they are the authorised service provider for sony ericisson mobile at chennai.

                            I received the phone on 29th Oct 2012, it took 4 days for them for doing a software update on the mobile. They ensured that the problem is solved. But on the same day, the problem started and the phone was sent to service on 2nd Nov 2012, The service center engineer informed that the touch need to be replaced and it will take only 2 weeks for the replacement.

                            Based on this commitment, i have given the phone to the service center engineer. Today 29th Nov 2012, this is the third time i will calling after the second week, and now he is giving the answer that the part is not available and may take another 15 to 20 days for the spare to be received.

                            So right now from 25th oct 2012 till now I dont have my Sony ericisson WT19i phone. Kindly advise.

                              My sony hifi stopped playing dvds and music through usb so i went to service centre .They checked system and told me estimate of about rs 1700 . I agreed for repair . Then they called me after two days and told me another chip has to be replaced and it will cost me whooping rs 6000 . i denied service . I collected system unrepared from service centre . After i came home i plugged in system and it was not getting on .as before tape and radio was working .on close inspection i find out that half of screws was missing . I opened the system and inside all the wires were loose and one circuit plate was missing it means if you ever deny repair at sony service centre they crap your product so you can never actually get it repaired . Sometimes i feel like putting a case upon them.now i swear to never buy a sony product again .

                                3-years ago I bought a SONY Micro 3-in one (CD,Tuner,tape) Model.No-CMT-EH10 in SONY world.Even now the set is functioning well.But suddenly the remote (RM-SC 30R) now started malfunctioning.I had approached your service station at Ashok nagar,but they did not try sincerely for the new unit (nor could service) and said it was not possible to get a new one.It is obligatory for the manufacturer to give service support to their products at least for a decade.Now it is very disappointing that I couldn't get service support from you.Now I and my friends and relatives also hesitating to buy SONY products fearing service support in future.This not only affects your products sale and also creates a bad impression about ur service dealers unfriendly attitude towards customers.Now I request you to do the needful regarding the service or replacement (new unit which I am ready to purchase) of the Remote.

                                  I had purchased Sony MT25i, IMEI NO-[protected] from The Mobile Store dated 15th August,2012.

                                  I had submitted mobile in Accel Frontline Ltd. (Sony Service Center), Kolkata, Job No.-W[protected] dated:-15th Nov,2012.

                                  I have complaint regarding same, still (dtd.27.11.12) I have not received my mobile from the service center, As per service center complaint that Sony Company not able to send Mobile Parts on time & thats the reason my mobile still not repaired.

                                  I want to inform that the service centre is not informing that how long would it take to get it done,whenever i am calling them they are saying either few days or 3 days,when would it actually come to an end. Why is service so poor that parts are not reaching or provided to the service centre. I had spoken to service centre several times but i am not satisfied with their solution.

                                  I am not able to understand Mobile purchased not more than two month, then why these problem happened, Second thing Customer service center also not taken Priority for New purchased mobile. My work is getting hampered now you tell me how do i manage my work without mobile or who pay me for all the losses that am going through.Its big harassment or did i make any mistake by buying a costlier Sony Moblie(paid 19K)

                                  Please help me getting it mend at its earliest and take necessary steps to improve the service facility to the customer.

                                    Please suggest what to do with this faulty Sony mobile.


                                    I have just purchased Sony mobile (Sony Xperia tipo dual) in october 2012, I was happy to use it till today, but suddenly found that my mobile is not working properly, The mobile has "out going voice noise" problem and I have submitted my handset in Sony authorized servicing center ameerpet for 15 days. But the problem is still exist. Faulty product like this was not expected from renowned company like SONY.

                                    The main part of the phone is speaker and mic if it is not repairable atleast they should provide alternate mobiles.

                                    Faults in your product by in Oct’2012.
                                    1)OUT GOING VOICE NOISE problem.
                                    2) Not able to hear anything person speaking from other side.

                                      it is very bad to inform you that the responce provided by sony service centre is is not apropriate as on the name of a highly branded company SONY .actually i am having sony vaio vpceh28fn laptp.I purchased it from computer solutions @ hardhoshani road.during the purchase the touch pad hangs frm 1st day...i'm going to customer care chandigarh modern electronics 7-8 times...sir this service centre is 250 km away from our home..

                                        Sony LED TV model KDL 40NX650IN5 and Home theater BDV-E290 serial number 3322458 has purchased on 29th OCT 2012. The Combined sound out put is very very low. A complainant is given on 20th Nov 2012 to the service center (Ph No [protected]) no prpper response till[protected] none of them were responded. After paying 89,900 the quality of audio i am not getting. Really this is a ridiculous situation. Sony being a good company the desired services are not given, it is shame on their part.

                                        I purchased a Sony Vaio laptop VGN-CS25GN/B a month ago by spending huge amount, expecting Sony as a brand. But I am really disappointed the way Sony provides service. Its really pathetic.

                                        A week ago suddenly my Mike Jack stops working. I am not able plugin my mike into Mike Jack.
                                        I went to Sony Service center(Indiranagar Bangalore) on Saturday to check what went wrong with it. They told me that on Saturday no Engineers is available. We cannot tell it now, you have to leave it and report can be told on Tuesday only or you come on Monday.

                                        I said ok I visted again on Monday in the Morning taking half day out from my work. They inspected and told that Mike Jack Pin is broken and they will send to Factory for repair. Question is whats the purpose of Service center when you cannot repair the things there?

                                        They told me at this service center they only collect the devices and send to some other place for checking.

                                        I ask them for estimation while giving me a Job sheet. They said that they cannot tell only after 2 days when enginereer inspects he will call me and tell whats wrong and estimation value. Man should wait for 2 days to know just whats wrong and how much to pay and then to decide whether to get it repaired or not. Is this a service?

                                        OK I gave them, after 2 days I called the factory several times and then after 2 hours they tell me it not Mike Jack Pin, it stone inside it and they cannot repair, complete mother board is to be replaced for which I have to pay aroud 20K Rs.


                                        Then When I went to get my laptop back, i asked them a report of diagonistic they had done. They said they cant give.

                                        I have to say people say correct always buy sony form grey market at half price. I used to be fan of brand Sony but now I will discourage others not to buy Sony, because of such a poor after service.

                                        Second Thing I want to ask person buy thing to use it, if he will use there will some wear and tear, then whats the purpose of warrranty if wear tear is not covered, man should buy it and keep it seal box at home.
                                        I have had another problem of poor service with Sony of whom i also thought were a good brand.

                                        I bought a PS3 about 2 and a half years ago so therefore it was out of warranty when the problems started to occur, it had been fine for the full 2 years working perfectly but after that i entered a game eg. fifa 09 and loading sign in the top right corner would search the game for about 10 seconds and then would just dissapear.

                                        What I then did was tested all of my games to see which games worked and which didn't I discovered that about half of the games worked and half didn't (out of about 40.)

                                        There was though a pattern in which games would: fifa 09 never worked since the probelm started (apart from once when i transferred the saved data from the PS3 but when i removed the disk to play a different game that solution no longer worked), the majority of the on some days worked and others didn't, and finally the one loyal game which never failed to work was oblivion.

                                        This was a very strange not like one i had ever come across before and I tried various methods in which i found of the internet to attempt to fix the problem eg. disk cleners. Some of which temporarily worked generally failed after a day or so.

                                        I eventually came to the conclusion that had to seek some advice from Sony. So i rang them up and suggested methods in which i'd mainly already tried. finally we decided that it was probably best to get a RE-CONDITIONED PS3 for £150!!! i was going on holiday soon though so we arranged to have it delivered on the next Tuesday 1st (I got back on Saturday .)

                                        When I returned from holiday raring for my re-conditioned PS3. I did my usual ritual and checked the answer machine for any messages. There was one message from Sony saying that they now could no longer deliver on the Tuesday due to low stock and that I must ring back to re-arrange a date.I rang Sony later that day and discovered to much of my disapointment and shock that the next possible date was the coming Friday 4th.

                                        I patiently waited for the Friday to come and when it did a man in a van arrived at my house and i thought "this is it!" I got the PS3 traded with my orignal one and set it up to the TV I turned it on, got it started up, choose the settings and put in Fifa09 delightfully it worked, But as started it up i realised there was something wrong... There was no sound.

                                        I tried basically everything: Audio settings, turning the sound up, different TV. None worked. I again rang Sony up and they agreed to have a second one delivered on Wednesday 10th.

                                        Fortunately there were no complications this time and the very same man delivered my 3rd PS3 i less than 2 weeks. I was disapointed previously i was almost expecting this one to work; i again set it up and placed in Little Big Planet. I awaited the loading cursor in the top right corner to go away, but it never did and the game didn't work. i tried a lot games after this all of which had the exact same problem.

                                        I rang Sony up AGAIN explaining the problem and arranged to have one delivered for Monday 13th. But on Saturday 11th i received a voice message explaining that they were again out of stock and the delivery was impossible for Monday and must be re-arranged. I rang later that evening but the line was closed.

                                        This is as far as i am in my search for a working PS3 I will send another comment if anything changes but so far my rating for Sony is 2/10. Also if anyone has any suggestions they would be much appreciated.
                                        I HAVE A HOME THEATRE SYSTEM SR. 6109006 (DATE OF PURCHASE 17 TH JUNE 2010). THE CD SYSTEM IS NOT WORKING & SERVICE REQUEST WAS LAUNCHED ON[protected] NUMBER 7227854. THE REPRESENTATIVE HAVE VISITED ON NEXT DAY. HOWEVER, TILL DATE THE
                                        PROBLEM IS NOT SOLVED, I WAS TOLD SPARE PART IS YET TO BE RECEIVED.

                                        I montu chawla purhased a sony vaio laptop serial is 7000727 on 25-8-11 after purchasing i m facing the problem in keyboard. i m caaling to customercare sony executive giving me some instruction and its working after 15 days i m facing same problem then i caal customercare he says its hardware problem and you are going to service centre. i m going to Lajpat nagar service centre on 10-9-11 saturday he say your laptop repair in 2-3 day i say ok and you have received a caal beetween 24 hour from sone end till i m not received the caal from sony .then i m caaling on 13-9-11 he say your laptop keyboard is defective and note in a stock and keyboard is coming from singapore and you are waiting 10 days more for repairing in your laptop.all my buissness is dependin on laptop and i m having big loss in 15 days so who can pay my loss.i m very dissapointed right now.

                                        I am Nitaie bondia from Orissa. I had registered a complaint regarding my Sony LCD tv on 15th of May. The call center ppl said tht they will provide me service wjthin 48 hrs. But all in vein, again I called them up after 2 days, they said me tht i am been set on priority basis and again withing 2 days i will be provided the service. Still then no one visited my place. So i called once again, n this time they crossed all limits by saying tht within 2 hrs the technician will be reaching my place. but tht was all fake. on talking to status department i came to knew tht my complaint had not been launched yet. n yesterday they launched my complaint (i.e on 21.05.12) n i was assured tht on 22.05.12 i will be provied the service. still i am waiting for the service n no body came till yet.

                                        "SONY SERVICE SCREW". the ppl at call center r all bogus, they provided me the number of nearest service center which is a wrong number, n they will always keep u on priority basis but noi service will be provided to you.

                                        1 week back i have bought Sony Bravia 40HX750 and on the first day itself it started giving me trouble

                                        the problem is a thin voilet color Vertival line abnout 8" lencgh is appearing on the TV
                                        i have logged complaint with the sony and the service person who came to check told us that the Panel has to be replaced.
                                        he has not even checked the problem and just by looking at the TV he told that panels is faulty and has to be replaced.

                                        it is only one day used TV and this problem has come, now i get the doubt on SONY reliability and Service also as the service person seems does not have much knowledge and suggesting to replace the full panel without going into the depth of the problem.

                                        TV is under warranty but still the service person is telling that they will charge us 2000 rupees for service charges and transport of spare parts.

                                        is it true that they will charge service and transport charges even for under warranty TV's.

                                        they should replace the TV instead of only changing the panel as it is one day used TV.


                                        please someone help me, i think the service people are just cheating us..

                                        You are not. I think many more to come and I'm the next. My problem is with the mother board. It had a coil issue within 2 years of purchase (46" LCD Bravia) and they serviced it for around 1500 rupees and it is worked for only one year and now it is stopped working completely. After a long chase up for a month with a service guy and sony india, there is no mercy from them and they're asking me to pay Rs.7100/- to get the mother board replaced. Don't know what to say. How come the quality is so poor from the well known company in the world. It is really disgusting and customer voice is not heard at all. My friend suggested to go for Samsung, somehow I trusted Sony. Now my wish and pray are these kind of companies need to shut down their operation and go out of business soon.
                                        I purchased my sony xperia ION in April, 2013. It has recently got a camera quality issue and I lost my sim tray. So, I went to Authorised Sony Service Center FORTUNE, SEEMA COMPLEX NAYA BAZAR MAIN ROAD DHANBAD-826001, JHARKHAND on 29th January, 2014. When I told him that I had lost my sim tray so I want a new one. They started asking for service charges Rs.350 including the charge of sim tray of Rs.100. Since my phone is in warranty, I asked that why you are asking for service charges. They replied that go to Kolkata service center, they will not charge service charges. I think they are fooling people and asking for unnecessary money. So, I want it to be resolved as soon as possible.
                                        Also, I want to inform that they took finally my phone for the camera quality issue and given me a job registration no. as 1030. But when I checked the repair status on sony site, it shows invalid job number. I think that there is a flaw in this issue also. So, I request you to cross check this issue also. Thanks.
