I had purchased Sony MT25i, IMEI NO-[protected] from The Mobile Store dated 15th August,2012.

I had submitted mobile in Accel Frontline Ltd. (Sony Service Center), Kolkata, Job No.-W[protected] dated:-15th Nov,2012.

I have complaint regarding same, still (dtd.27.11.12) I have not received my mobile from the service center, As per service center complaint that Sony Company not able to send Mobile Parts on time & thats the reason my mobile still not repaired.

I want to inform that the service centre is not informing that how long would it take to get it done,whenever i am calling them they are saying either few days or 3 days,when would it actually come to an end. Why is service so poor that parts are not reaching or provided to the service centre. I had spoken to service centre several times but i am not satisfied with their solution.

I am not able to understand Mobile purchased not more than two month, then why these problem happened, Second thing Customer service center also not taken Priority for New purchased mobile. My work is getting hampered now you tell me how do i manage my work without mobile or who pay me for all the losses that am going through.Its big harassment or did i make any mistake by buying a costlier Sony Moblie(paid 19K)

Please help me getting it mend at its earliest and take necessary steps to improve the service facility to the customer.

    Please suggest what to do with this faulty Sony mobile.


    I have just purchased Sony mobile (Sony Xperia tipo dual) in october 2012, I was happy to use it till today, but suddenly found that my mobile is not working properly, The mobile has "out going voice noise" problem and I have submitted my handset in Sony authorized servicing center ameerpet for 15 days. But the problem is still exist. Faulty product like this was not expected from renowned company like SONY.

    The main part of the phone is speaker and mic if it is not repairable atleast they should provide alternate mobiles.

    Faults in your product by in Oct’2012.
    1)OUT GOING VOICE NOISE problem.
    2) Not able to hear anything person speaking from other side.

      it is very bad to inform you that the responce provided by sony service centre is is not apropriate as on the name of a highly branded company SONY .actually i am having sony vaio vpceh28fn laptp.I purchased it from computer solutions @ hardhoshani road.during the purchase the touch pad hangs frm 1st day...i'm going to customer care chandigarh modern electronics 7-8 times...sir this service centre is 250 km away from our home..

      maine unse 50 baar kha hai k maine recovery ki hai pr hir bhi vo recovery hi karte hain...main 78 baar iski recovery kr chukka hun pr koi bhi respionce nhi hai...maine ek do dffa amsritsar main bhi isko care centre mein dikhya hai....unhone bhi sirf koi touch pad softwrare hi change kiya tha pr koi bhi asar nhi hua....sir main baar baar customer care nhi ja sakta kyoki mujhe 5 ghante lgte hain wha pe jaane k liye...main bahut dukhi huin is cheez se...please koi solution batao sir yeh problem 1st day se hai...
      nhi to mujhe kissi bhi halat main yeh laptop replace chahiye kyonki baar baar main pehle din se hi customer care pe phone lga rha hun...k isse ache to dell k saste waale laptops hain...
      this is the last time koi [censored]ion bta do nhi to main saare lggon ko is brand ka kush bhi lene k kahoonga kynki main sony ka bda fan tha merre to car mein aur ghr pe bhi sony ka hi saara system pda hota hai..

        Sony LED TV model KDL 40NX650IN5 and Home theater BDV-E290 serial number 3322458 has purchased on 29th OCT 2012. The Combined sound out put is very very low. A complainant is given on 20th Nov 2012 to the service center (Ph No [protected]) no prpper response till[protected] none of them were responded. After paying 89,900 the quality of audio i am not getting. Really this is a ridiculous situation. Sony being a good company the desired services are not given, it is shame on their part.

        I purchased a Sony Vaio laptop VGN-CS25GN/B a month ago by spending huge amount, expecting Sony as a brand. But I am really disappointed the way Sony provides service. Its really pathetic.

        A week ago suddenly my Mike Jack stops working. I am not able plugin my mike into Mike Jack.
        I went to Sony Service center(Indiranagar Bangalore) on Saturday to check what went wrong with it. They told me that on Saturday no Engineers is available. We cannot tell it now, you have to leave it and report can be told on Tuesday only or you come on Monday.

        I said ok I visted again on Monday in the Morning taking half day out from my work. They inspected and told that Mike Jack Pin is broken and they will send to Factory for repair. Question is whats the purpose of Service center when you cannot repair the things there?

        They told me at this service center they only collect the devices and send to some other place for checking.

        I ask them for estimation while giving me a Job sheet. They said that they cannot tell only after 2 days when enginereer inspects he will call me and tell whats wrong and estimation value. Man should wait for 2 days to know just whats wrong and how much to pay and then to decide whether to get it repaired or not. Is this a service?

        OK I gave them, after 2 days I called the factory several times and then after 2 hours they tell me it not Mike Jack Pin, it stone inside it and they cannot repair, complete mother board is to be replaced for which I have to pay aroud 20K Rs.


        Then When I went to get my laptop back, i asked them a report of diagonistic they had done. They said they cant give.

        I have to say people say correct always buy sony form grey market at half price. I used to be fan of brand Sony but now I will discourage others not to buy Sony, because of such a poor after service.

        Second Thing I want to ask person buy thing to use it, if he will use there will some wear and tear, then whats the purpose of warrranty if wear tear is not covered, man should buy it and keep it seal box at home.
        I have had another problem of poor service with Sony of whom i also thought were a good brand.

        I bought a PS3 about 2 and a half years ago so therefore it was out of warranty when the problems started to occur, it had been fine for the full 2 years working perfectly but after that i entered a game eg. fifa 09 and loading sign in the top right corner would search the game for about 10 seconds and then would just dissapear.

        What I then did was tested all of my games to see which games worked and which didn't I discovered that about half of the games worked and half didn't (out of about 40.)

        There was though a pattern in which games would: fifa 09 never worked since the probelm started (apart from once when i transferred the saved data from the PS3 but when i removed the disk to play a different game that solution no longer worked), the majority of the on some days worked and others didn't, and finally the one loyal game which never failed to work was oblivion.

        This was a very strange not like one i had ever come across before and I tried various methods in which i found of the internet to attempt to fix the problem eg. disk cleners. Some of which temporarily worked generally failed after a day or so.

        I eventually came to the conclusion that had to seek some advice from Sony. So i rang them up and suggested methods in which i'd mainly already tried. finally we decided that it was probably best to get a RE-CONDITIONED PS3 for £150!!! i was going on holiday soon though so we arranged to have it delivered on the next Tuesday 1st (I got back on Saturday .)

        When I returned from holiday raring for my re-conditioned PS3. I did my usual ritual and checked the answer machine for any messages. There was one message from Sony saying that they now could no longer deliver on the Tuesday due to low stock and that I must ring back to re-arrange a date.I rang Sony later that day and discovered to much of my disapointment and shock that the next possible date was the coming Friday 4th.

        I patiently waited for the Friday to come and when it did a man in a van arrived at my house and i thought "this is it!" I got the PS3 traded with my orignal one and set it up to the TV I turned it on, got it started up, choose the settings and put in Fifa09 delightfully it worked, But as started it up i realised there was something wrong... There was no sound.

        I tried basically everything: Audio settings, turning the sound up, different TV. None worked. I again rang Sony up and they agreed to have a second one delivered on Wednesday 10th.

        Fortunately there were no complications this time and the very same man delivered my 3rd PS3 i less than 2 weeks. I was disapointed previously i was almost expecting this one to work; i again set it up and placed in Little Big Planet. I awaited the loading cursor in the top right corner to go away, but it never did and the game didn't work. i tried a lot games after this all of which had the exact same problem.

        I rang Sony up AGAIN explaining the problem and arranged to have one delivered for Monday 13th. But on Saturday 11th i received a voice message explaining that they were again out of stock and the delivery was impossible for Monday and must be re-arranged. I rang later that evening but the line was closed.

        This is as far as i am in my search for a working PS3 I will send another comment if anything changes but so far my rating for Sony is 2/10. Also if anyone has any suggestions they would be much appreciated.
        I HAVE A HOME THEATRE SYSTEM SR. 6109006 (DATE OF PURCHASE 17 TH JUNE 2010). THE CD SYSTEM IS NOT WORKING & SERVICE REQUEST WAS LAUNCHED ON[protected] NUMBER 7227854. THE REPRESENTATIVE HAVE VISITED ON NEXT DAY. HOWEVER, TILL DATE THE
        PROBLEM IS NOT SOLVED, I WAS TOLD SPARE PART IS YET TO BE RECEIVED.
        THIS IS THE SECOND TIME IN ONE YEAR THE SET IS GIVING PROBLEM.
        I AM VERY UPSET TO SEE THE SERVICE OF REPUTED BRAND LIKE SONY.

        i had purchased a sony ericsson w100i- spiro. and within 3 weeks there is a lot of problems in set like hang, battery back....I took my set to Sony Service Centre (B 39,IInd flr Near V3S mall,, laxmi nagar district centre, New Delhi[protected] , I don't know what is the name of madam ,she said there is a software problem, i have updated software, your phone working fine, but same day i have faced same problem,Please tell me what i am doing.
        I montu chawla purhased a sony vaio laptop serial is 7000727 on 25-8-11 after purchasing i m facing the problem in keyboard. i m caaling to customercare sony executive giving me some instruction and its working after 15 days i m facing same problem then i caal customercare he says its hardware problem and you are going to service centre. i m going to Lajpat nagar service centre on 10-9-11 saturday he say your laptop repair in 2-3 day i say ok and you have received a caal beetween 24 hour from sone end till i m not received the caal from sony .then i m caaling on 13-9-11 he say your laptop keyboard is defective and note in a stock and keyboard is coming from singapore and you are waiting 10 days more for repairing in your laptop.all my buissness is dependin on laptop and i m having big loss in 15 days so who can pay my loss.i m very dissapointed right now.
        pls help me.and positive response from your side.

        I am Nitaie bondia from Orissa. I had registered a complaint regarding my Sony LCD tv on 15th of May. The call center ppl said tht they will provide me service wjthin 48 hrs. But all in vein, again I called them up after 2 days, they said me tht i am been set on priority basis and again withing 2 days i will be provided the service. Still then no one visited my place. So i called once again, n this time they crossed all limits by saying tht within 2 hrs the technician will be reaching my place. but tht was all fake. on talking to status department i came to knew tht my complaint had not been launched yet. n yesterday they launched my complaint (i.e on 21.05.12) n i was assured tht on 22.05.12 i will be provied the service. still i am waiting for the service n no body came till yet.

        "SONY SERVICE SCREW". the ppl at call center r all bogus, they provided me the number of nearest service center which is a wrong number, n they will always keep u on priority basis but noi service will be provided to you.

        1 week back i have bought Sony Bravia 40HX750 and on the first day itself it started giving me trouble

        the problem is a thin voilet color Vertival line abnout 8" lencgh is appearing on the TV
        i have logged complaint with the sony and the service person who came to check told us that the Panel has to be replaced.
        he has not even checked the problem and just by looking at the TV he told that panels is faulty and has to be replaced.

        it is only one day used TV and this problem has come, now i get the doubt on SONY reliability and Service also as the service person seems does not have much knowledge and suggesting to replace the full panel without going into the depth of the problem.

        TV is under warranty but still the service person is telling that they will charge us 2000 rupees for service charges and transport of spare parts.

        is it true that they will charge service and transport charges even for under warranty TV's.

        they should replace the TV instead of only changing the panel as it is one day used TV.


        please someone help me, i think the service people are just cheating us..

        You are not. I think many more to come and I'm the next. My problem is with the mother board. It had a coil issue within 2 years of purchase (46" LCD Bravia) and they serviced it for around 1500 rupees and it is worked for only one year and now it is stopped working completely. After a long chase up for a month with a service guy and sony india, there is no mercy from them and they're asking me to pay Rs.7100/- to get the mother board replaced. Don't know what to say. How come the quality is so poor from the well known company in the world. It is really disgusting and customer voice is not heard at all. My friend suggested to go for Samsung, somehow I trusted Sony. Now my wish and pray are these kind of companies need to shut down their operation and go out of business soon.
        I purchased my sony xperia ION in April, 2013. It has recently got a camera quality issue and I lost my sim tray. So, I went to Authorised Sony Service Center FORTUNE, SEEMA COMPLEX NAYA BAZAR MAIN ROAD DHANBAD-826001, JHARKHAND on 29th January, 2014. When I told him that I had lost my sim tray so I want a new one. They started asking for service charges Rs.350 including the charge of sim tray of Rs.100. Since my phone is in warranty, I asked that why you are asking for service charges. They replied that go to Kolkata service center, they will not charge service charges. I think they are fooling people and asking for unnecessary money. So, I want it to be resolved as soon as possible.
        Also, I want to inform that they took finally my phone for the camera quality issue and given me a job registration no. as 1030. But when I checked the repair status on sony site, it shows invalid job number. I think that there is a flaw in this issue also. So, I request you to cross check this issue also. Thanks.

              Very regret to say about non attandance to complaint.

              I have bought an Sony Ericsson Mobile six months ago and during the warranty period suddenly mobile phone display not appearing and i have complained vide above complaint no in the local office but very regret to know about non friendly behaviour from your local office. The executives said that i have to pay certain charges to repair of the phone but 4 days already past and they are unable to tell the amount of repair so that i can take a decision..Condition of set is good.

              Requested to look into the matter seriously and arrange to repair the mobile without charges.

              I brought a sonyerricson F305 2 years back but within 1 year display of the handset was gone.i took it to the sonyerricson service centre but they didn't paid too much attention. theycharged me Rs.600 for repairing of the display although it falls in warranty period by claiming that water has lodged inside the handset.after 2 months of repairinng again display has gone.what should i do now??? iam not sattisfied with this sonyerricson company.

                  i got some problems in my smart phone like.camera is not working .light sensor is not working, phone is heating very much from back ...so i submitted my Sony xperia s at Sony service center in Chandigarh on 17 Nov 2012 in morning at the address ACCEL FRONTLINE LTD. sco.644 sector.45/c Chandigarh. they told me to call on 20 Nov to check the status ...so i called them and they pick and told me to call after 2 hours ,so i called after 2 hours and they pick call and told me that to call tomorrow ....i frustrated that time from their services....so i call next day they told me to pick up my phone from them ..i go their and first they told me to wait ...and wait their for 1 hour...but m single person who is their ...then they gave me my handset and i checked it fully and i got 1 dent on the top of the set and some scratches on back also and i also got that my all problems are not solved and there r same problems on my handset....i told them that no problem were solved then the lady on the counter told me that every Sony handsets are having this problem and this is not a big issue...i told them i will complaint ...so then they receive a complaint and take it back .....and told me to call after 3 days to confirm that my camera lens should be replaced or not......whats that they have engineers to check whether the camera is to be replaced or not.....then why they r taking too much time to confirm..i also called their service centers manager mr.sumit saini and tell about my problem but they didnt reply anything and not taking my calls after my first call to them..i got pissed by their service...and now want them to replaced my handset or refund all money ......i got this as a gift from my sister on my birthday and i am very emotionally touched with it....they damage my phone also.rs.27,200 is a very big amount for a middle class person.....so i need full refund or replaced phone with a new one....regards.ankur malhotra

                    I am requesting Sony India since 3rd November 2012 by Complaint ref no. 11879254 to re install my Sony Home theater, despite repeated request and reminders and escaltion at call center "No" engineer has come to my residence for re installation of a expensive home theater sold to me by Sony. I have been following up repeatedly and every time go through a montonous and repteted routine details checks of confirming my adress my name my tele number etc and assurance that with 24 hrs engineer will be at my door but no one turn up. This shows pathetic customer care management and attitude of Sony towards there clients to whom Sony has sold expensive home thetares and I feel Sony India is only interested in making sales of goods but they care a "Damn" about there customers once sale has been made. I have bought lot of Sony products from a W series 32" LCD to Handycam to Cameras other than this Home Theater but now I feel sad why I gave so much of sale to Sony, If they cannot even respect needs of there customers. I hope someone will listen in Sony and get my Home theater re-installed and allow me and my family to enjoy product on which I have spent thousands from my hard earned money.

                      Exactly 3 years back we purchased a SONY Bravia TV (KLV 32S550A IN5), Serial number 6169433 from Dawar's Open World Gurgaon Haryana. Bill number 15767, Dated on 15 October.2009.
                      For the last one Month onwards, display of TV becomes Greenish and shows negative picture intermittentivly. some times it runs upto 30-40 minutes w/o problem also.
                      We have contacted the Dealer. They redirected our request to the local SONY Authorized Service Centre (I connect M-4 old DLF colony Gurgaon), Lator opened Service Job Sheet no. J21354459.
                      Initially estimate was Tr. 3500 and now they are asking Rs. 12000 for repair.
                      My question is, I agree that the Warranty is over. But what is the 'Life ' span of SONY Bravia TV in India.
                      Only 3 years !!! I purchased it in Rs. 35500 and after 3 yrs again Rs. 12000 Is it the Quality Sony is Proud of?? If this is the Quality then why should I buy Sony products ? Rather why should not I discourage my big corporate circle for buying Sony products.
                      I am expecting an official reply from SONY India on this issue immediately. I also request to discount the repair cost to original quote of Rs. 3500, Spending Rs. 12000 in three years is something not suiting to Sony's faith.

                      We have purchased a sony lcd cx32d on 17th september 2012 from Gargh sales agra . The bill no.is 1552
                      The remote we have received is most probably not complete.
                      In the booklet its written that there is pre channel button in the remote but actually there is no pre channel button.
                      We qant a replacement of remote with the pre channel button in it as soon as possible.

                        I have purchased Sony Bravia 32 led and home theatre system on 12.11.2012 from Dayal Infotainment Shipra. I was assured by the dealer that tHe products will be delivered on 13.11.2012 and will be installed on 14.11.2012.
                        The product reached me on 13.11.2012 as scheduled with assurance that it will be installed next day. I waited endlessly next day and beyond. The phone nos mentioned in the bill of authorised dealer of sony were out of service. On 16.11.2012 I called Sony helpline and I was informed that dealer has not stequested for demo and installation.
                        I did the same and was assured installation within 48 hours. After expiry of time line I again contacted helpline and even sent an online complaint to sonycare but with no result.
                        How can a brand like Sony take customers for a ride. Why do sony sell products for which they can not provide support.please help

                        sony/ bravia — not providing demo/services

                        Pharma co.lupin gave me KLV-19T400GinAug 09 and told that sony person will come to fix LCD on wall and give demo. Months passed no one came Then repeated requests were [protected]@ ultimately one person from sony Bhilai made his appearance on 31st oct. He was in so hurry that hehad no time & refused to wait for carpenter to make a hole in window frame so that cablecan reach Lcd. His was totaly non cooperative and had no interest in doing his job.LCD was not mounted and demo was not given ,it is still lying unoperational.Will you take any action after knowing this all or feel happy that your product is sold & now it is all the botheration of customer and you have nothing to do with this.
                        I expect courtesy of a promt reply regarding what should i do.

                        Sony — Installation

                        I have purcahsed a Sony LED 42' . Product code : 42EX410 on 30th Oct,2011. Inspite of repeated follow up Sony is not sending Engineer to install the same even after 11 days of purchase. when i called up customer of sony i came to know service centre is not gettig me over telephone and so not sending for installation . This is totally baseless. It is regretted that a company like sony fails to install the LED even after 10 days of purchase .
                        I stay at Kharghar at Navi Mumbai when i call up Sony Panvel they tell me it is the responsibility of Sony Vashi and Sony Vashi service centre tells installation is the responsibility of Sony Panvel.
                        Now I have no other option but to return the LED to Sony and go for other brand.

                          This is M.Jithendar from Hyderabad i bought an SONY BRAVIA LED 24" on 18/11/2012 in deeksha "n" LL Enterprises A.S. RAO NAGAR Hyderabad Andhra Pradesh. Till now no one came to give a demo and installiation regarding LED. aAter i am calling to them the registered my product. How reckless people .just i want say that this type of problem should not happen to any customer and sort out my problem as soon as possible

                            Compliant in the sony web site.

                            First compliant sent to u on 14.11.12 [X-Ticket:94123021,2]. There is no response form ur side. I contacted the service centre (Alappuzha ) many time but no information from them. My IMEI No is -[protected], Sony Tipo ,phone received date of service centre -13/10/12. It is a minor compliant ( ear speaker disturbance).The phone got damaged 3 weeks form the date of purchase.

                                i bought my sony led TV ex-520 , still under warranty , registered a complaint at local sony service centre , but no body cares about my problem.
                                I purchased amaron invertor tribal usb and battery on[protected]which has 18 months warranty) at Hyderabad and it was shifted to kavali when my sister was transferred to another place. Now it failed to work. I made a complaint to the customercare. They sent a machanic and he gave me a report that the battery broke down and advised me to replace the battery at the nearest dealer in nellore. As it has guaranty up 18 months, I phoned to the dealer where I have to take the battery. There is no response from the dealer. Again I contacted the customercare to inform my difficulty to take the battery to nellore and requested them to send the battery from the dealer. They agreed but did not send and give any reply.
                                May I kindly know Whether it is the responsibility of a customer to take the batttery to the distributer or the company takes responsibility to replace the battery on their own. I requested them i would bear the charges of transport. But there was no reply. can you please help me in this regard

                                  I have purchased a new Sony Bravia KLV32EX330 LED TV on 16TH OCT 2012. I came to KNOW that one pixel on tv not working so on 27th oct 212 I marked a compliant #11782979.
                                  I want to replace the product and i don't want it to be repaired because I just bought it and this fault from the stating so it's company manufacturing and quality auditor mistake they are not doing their job properly and selling deflated tv to new customer.
                                  I have registered a complaint and they are not clear on this issue. Please help me on this.

                                    I HAVE PURCHASES A SONY BRAVIA 32" COLOUR TV FROM GEETA APPLIANCES RAIPUR ON 17/11/2012 WITH THE CONDITION THAT THEY WILL INSTALL IT WITHIN ONE HOUR OF MY PURCHASES BUT TILL 18/11/2012 THE TV WAS NOT INSTALLED IT ALTHOUGH I HAVE REPEATDLY REQUESTED AT GEETA APPLIANCES FOR SEVERAL TIMES BY PHONE .                                       i have purchased sony xperia s worth rs 31000 on end of the june 2012 then afta 20-25 days i got problems with the handsets n my phone's speakers were not working they took a month to fix the problem and handled me the set back on august end and again i got the same problem within few weeks..
                                      i requested to replace my product at the first issue only but now m facing problems now and then and i feel that i have been cheated by the company and they are also many complains from other consumers against this company regarding service issues and poor quality products..

                                        Re:- Replacement of Sony Ericsson WT19i

                                        I had purchased the above mentioned phone on April'12 and due to hardware issue,I had to give it to one of the service center to fix the same. They took correct 2 months to return it back and the issue was not fixed at all. The very same day when I received i found the same issue again. Clearly, no work was done on it. Moreover, the condition of the phone when it was given and that on return was totally a real turn down. The phone was handled in very good care and was almost scratch less. But when it came back from the service center, there were few damages and scratches on the phone. I had purchased the phone at a very dear price. As a customer I don't deserve such kind of behavior and ask you to replace the set at the earliest. Also ensure that such problems do not creep up in future and that my faith in Sony remains undaunted.
