sony is playing with consumers--habbituated to make undue money by charging to under warranty products.they insulted me by saying customer is not paying their salaries.
its employees not trained to deal with their customers.

again contacted your CC number [protected],on 1/3/2011 at 11.59AM,agent aked me to wait for another 48hours to get the response.
contacted hotline no-[protected] on 1/3/2011 at 4PM, asked to wait for 24 hours, updated with regional head no:[protected].
contacted hotline no-[protected] on 3/2/2011, requested to wait till the eod to receive a call back from the concerned department
& try to get in touch with ro.
today i contacted the ro around 12 PM, one mr.kartheek sv picked up the call & i explained him about all the facts as stated below.
he was talking to me in very rude manner & explaining me to learn how to talk with higher officials, i should be very polite & request him,
if i have purchased a lap top doesnt mean that i have purchased sony & customer is not paying his salary, adviced me to proceed legally
(stated do what you want to do).
can i request for the intervention of higher officials, as mr.kartheek sv has made it clear that he is the only authorised person & he is the final authority.

This is to bring to your kind notice that I have purchased a sony vaio lap top of model number VPCEB14EN, bearing serial number[protected]as written on bill), from Swetha computers, secunderabad. A.P., on 7/6/2010.

On 20th feb 2011, when I tried to “switch on” the lap top, have noticed that its power button LED glows but the screen is blank.

On 21st feb2011, I contacted your toll free number [protected] the agent guided me as mentioned in the instructions manual but failed to restore the lap top screen.

He advised me to contact the nearest Sony ASC with a complaint reference number 6984022 and has provided your ASC details of Srikara Marketing (Ph.[protected] & Mabood Electronics (Ph.[protected].

I visited Mabood Electronics on 21st feb 2011 itself at about 10.30AM, they kept me waiting for 40 minutes in front office, then I met ASC in charge, he tested the lap top for about 30 minutes in my presence, opened the RAMs connected, removed & handed over hard disc to me , he complimented me saying that I am using the lap top with full of care, by noticing the skin on top of the laptop to protect against scratches, cling film on the screen to protect against scratches and cover on the key pad to protect from dust.

Later he told that to rectify the lap top will consume time, he updated me with a job sheet bearing complaint number WS[protected] & will intimate the status.

On 24/2/2011 I got a call from Ph. No.23203131 at 12.10PM during which time I was attending a meeting in Chennai, informed me that the laptop will be repairable only under chargeable basis since some food item has gone inside, I was surprised to hear this from him, have spoken to him only for few seconds, I questioned him how come?, informed him that I am in a meeting & I will talk to you later.

On 24/2/2011 again I got a call from the above number at 5.38PM, he informed me that the lap top repair cost is involved around Rs.18000, then I informed him that I will approach sony company, he told that he will call me back again & cut the phone.

He called me at 5.48PM as per the promise he made, informed me that he has already escalated the VOC to company & he has got instructions to repair only under chargeable basis, if required can offer some discount.

What is all this? Why I am penalized for purchasing sony brand lap top, I never expected this kind of service from sony. This experience has forced me to write.

For your information currently I am working for Hindustan Unilever Limited as a customer service head, looking after AP and have been associated with customer service industry for over a decade. Having interface with the industry can estimate the situation by the reputation of the firms in the market.

I request you to inspect my laptop as I have handed over with all the accessories as specified in para number 5, how some food item will go in to the laptop? While inspecting the same in my presence on 21/11/2011, even the hard disc has been opened & handed over to me, why the same has not been informed to me?

I don’t want to pen anything more as I have explained everything clearly.

I request your intervention & kindly do the needful at the earliest.

    This is regarding the Sony Zylo handset (details are below):

    Which was bought by me from Star Mobitel Ltd. G-26, South Extension Part I, New Delhi – 110049, India on Sep 2nd 2010 (copy of bill enclosed), within 3 months of the purchase of the handset, it had ear speaker problem. I visited Sony Care centre located in Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi and to my surprise I was casually informed that zylo handsets have a manufacturing fault/defect related to the wire which connects the motherboard and ear piece. Right after few days the phone display refused to function. My phone by now was useless. On contacting the telephone customer care division to provide me with a new functional and no defect handset, I was asked to submit the Zylo handset to the care centre and provide them with the work order number and only then they would be able to replace the handset.

    I submitted my Zylo handset at the Care centre, Careon Dwarka, Plot No.7, Shop No.203, 2nd Floor, Vikas Surya Tower, Sec-12, Dwarka, New Delhi – 110075, India on Dec 20th 2010 (copy of the work order sheet enclosed), they said that it would take 10 days.

    I have contacted the customer care no.[protected] 10-15 times now, have spoken to many customer care representatives and supervisors, I have also emailed at questions.[protected]@support.sonyericsson.com but have got no confirmation till date about anything, all I get as replies are the automated and or standard responses. They say that the part is not available and once they get the handset part (which is undefined time period) they will repair my handset. I have been promised a call back a couple of times from the supervisor (Mr.Harish) but I have not received any call till date.On Feb 11th 2011 when I called up at your customer complaint division your rep Ankur spoke rudely as if I am bothering them by calling up again and again and says that I would have to collect the handset from Dwarka service centre and submit it at any other service centre. Call to sony senior helpline no.today ie Mar 3rd is again of no help as they claim they would have to wait for the parts. This is certainly not expected from a reputed company like Sony to harass their customers like this. This is huge disappointment for me as this is not what I had expected from a brand like Sony Ericsson.

    I donot want the faulty Zylo handset anymore as I have waited enough and I am not ready to wait for an indefinite period any longer. Obviously I am not getting any help from India Sony centre. I had also couriered written complaint to Pawan Chadha (regional head of Sony) at Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications (India) Pvt Ltd

      I bought a Sony laptop in August 2010 from Sony showroom, Vashi. Barely after three months, the hard disk of the laptop collapsed. I lodged a complaint at their authorised service centre at Vashi – Sai Service. When, I did not receive the laptop back duly repaired in stipulated time, I lodged a complaint in their India website and received a complaint number 6660955 with a promise that Sony will look into the matter quickly and shall revert back to me. Though it was an automated mail, I was expecting some real response from Sony representative explaining why the hard disk had collapsed just in 3 months! However I did not receive any call.

      After a few follow-up with the Sai service centre in Vashi, I received my laptop back, but again after2 months, the charger failed. It has been given back to Sai Service for replacement again and I hope to receive a new one in some day though Sai Service has promised to give the replacement in 3/4 days.

      Earlier to this, I bought a Sony music system, which did not work even for 12 months. I gave complaints, repaired in Sai Service, replaced the CD reader, but still it did not work. After the repairing, it works for a month or so and then stops working.

      I strongly believe that Sony quality has deteriorated drastically and now it sells mostly low quality craps in the market. Be careful about SONY.

        Sir,

        I purchased a sony ericisson (Spiro w100i ) phone on 20th December, 2010. It has many problem from starting just automatic swithch off and start, hagging, audio prob etc. I went service center sector - 18, noida. They just upgraded it with latest software but problem became same. I went next time( 5 feb 2011.) they kept my phone and said "we are sending it to head office and u can take your phone next week." but I didn't receive yet (1 March 2011). Just they are saying next week , next week when I contacted with my Workorder Number SE[protected]. They also gave me a case ID 89706178 from customer care.

        Sir please see the matter.

          I purchased Sony Ericsson T517 model slidding cell phone. Its slidding data strip between circuit and screen broke. I gave the phone for repairing to Authorised service center (S G infotech, Vasai) on 4th January, 2011 but still i get answer from service center that this perticular part is not available.I have been continueously doing the followups with concerns but since last two months it is not been returned by repairing. We purchase branded material to get proper service other wise there are china made phones available on footpath, they also give nice service.

            Sony was advertising about the new 3D LED Bravia TV in newspapers and other media and about the free gifts tthat one would get on purchase of this TV. They included the price of each free gift. They have not sent me the Sound bar which was promised in the advertisement.. which they claim costs Rs 19,900. Its been 4 months and they are not paying any heed to my numerous calls. No company would dare to cheat their customers like this in any other country. Why this horrible customer service in India. Do these complaints get adressed by any authorities ever?

            I purchased a Sony Led Television from Khosla Electronic vide Bill No.BTC/1480 Dated 3rd September, 2012. Within the period of 10 months the T.V. screen started showing error. I made a compaint and the said error was rectified free of cost as it was falling under warranty. But later on within the 2 months from the period of rectification again the said problem started. I made a compaint on October 12th to Sony Centre. The representative came on 15th and charged me for the inspection charges. They told me that they will charge Rs.1200/- towards repairs and spare parts will be charged separately. But till date no one has come for rectification. I am unable to understand why I have to be charged for a faulty product which is repeating continuously. I am suffering for a faulty product by not being rectified at a 1st instances. If the said error would have been rectified at the 1st instance properly the said error will not occur in a short interval till date no respond

              “CARDS NOT ACCEPTED” Information not displayed or no mentioned in "Conditions to repair” that Credit/Debit card are not accepted while taking product for repaid


              Hi,

              I want attention from Customer Service Manager of SONY on the issue of mislead customers with incorrect responses by Sony Authorized Service Center - Advanced Electronics, Gurgaon.

              I gave my audio system for repair, cost of repair of which was approx 3000/-. I went for delivery of my audio system. After inspecting product, I was made to sign receipt note. Once i gave my credit card for payment, i got response that " We don’t accept Card'. I asked them to swipe my Debit card. I mentioned that usually I don’t carry much cash in pocket and i am ok to give my debit or credit card.

              When i debated on why card is not accepted, i got following inconsistent & misleading responses:

              1.Our Credit Card machine is out of order and has gone for repair with HDFC. I informed that I will come tomorrow or day after and swipe the card, if machine is not working today. I got following response ( point no. 2)
              2.Our credit card machine is not working from last 4-5 months and we have raised the issue with HDFC & SONY India Pvt Ltd
              3.On further debating, I was informed that we have “CASH PAYMENT ONLY” service agreement with SONY.
              4.Another person at reception informed that I should go to nearest ATM and withdraw cash and pay to them, since they don’t accept card at all

              I mentioned that such information should either be displayed at counter or printed in "Conditions to repair” clause while accepting product for repair .To which customer care representative rudely replied that he is ready to write that in “Conditions to repair” clause with pen & sign and give it to me.

              I would appreciate if SONY India Pvt Ltd, provide response to following queries of mine:

              1. Why such big authorized service centers have only payment by cash option?
              2. Why such information are not clearly displayed on Center that “CARDS NOT ACCEPTED” or not mentioned in "Conditions to repair” clause while accepting product for repair?
              3. Why customer service representatives provides misleading information to customers and take them for granted?
              4. What is SONY India accountability in such issues? ( since Advance Electronics easily passed the buck to SONY while responding to my query)

              While most of merchants (even a small grocery shop owner) keeps credit card/ debit card machine, to ensure that he don’t loose the customers who are now a days more plastic money savvy rather the keeping cash in pocket, I am nothing less but surprised with dated practice of accepting only cash (whether it is a practice established by service center or by SONY India Pvt Ltd)

              At the least Sony India Pvt Ltd should clearly put display board at all its Service Centers across India that “CARDS NOT ACCEPTED” amd mentioned in "Conditions to repair” that Credit/Debit card are not accepted while taking product for repaid.

              I wrote e-mail to SONY India Pvt Ltd 7 days back and have yet not heard from them as yet, which is yet another example of taking customers for granted.

                I have a Sony Bravia LCD TV. The display was not clear. The Sony person came for inspection and I had to send it to the service centre at santacruz for the change of the display panel. While taking the tv on the 9th of feb, 2011, the Sony representative told me that the TV would be done in 4 days. I called back after 4 days, they still hadn't got the part from their manufacturer. He told me it would take another 4 days. I stayed back for 4 more days when I got a call from them on a Friday that they have received the part and the tV would be done 2 days. I called back after 2 days and was very disappointed to hear that the part has still not come. This is the way these people at santacruz service centre work. It has been 20 days now and there is no hope for me to get the tv.
                The tv costs 3 lakhs and this is the service I get from them.

                The most annoying part is that when I call them to enquire about the tV, they pick up the call and put it on hold for half an hour. This has happened to me 3 times.
                The same thing happened with me- but in a different way

                  My name is Hemanth Kumar Reddy([protected]) from Madanapalli. I am 120kms from Tirupati..I purchased Sony Zylo WITH IMEI NO-[protected]-4SVN 52 in Tirupathi.... First i got strip cable problem and i lost display i went to care center..They replaced the cable but camera lost clarity and not saving captured images. Iinstalled new version software .But problem is not solve..Again i went Customer care center at Tirupathi..They took my problem for 2 days.but they didn't solve the problem..Finally they said motherboard is damaged so they have to send to company for replacement under warranty..it will take 2 months of time for replacement.. I don't have any alternate mobile..What can i do..I don't know why Sony Ericsson became worst then China mobiles..? I need replacement with new mobile..and payback my Bus fares..

                  Sony Ericsson — camera defect not solved

                  This is to tell you that I have given my W350i for repairing at sevice station 'New Delhi Balaji Tele Services-B4 Avtar Enclave Paschim Vihar, New delhi' at 24 July,09 for camera problem and it's more than a month and I have not got my phone back. Service centre executive do not pay attention to my problem and say that they can't do anything even when i call them they smash my phone. They say that talk to customer care and customer care says talk to service station. My phone is in warranty period and this is the service they are proving to a customer.

                  I am in great need of my phone, my work has been stopped just because of this. I request you to look in this concern and give me my phone repaired with 1 month warrenty extended or provide me with a new handset.

                  Sony Ericsson Zylo — Delay in repairing the handset

                  I bought the Sony Ericsson Zylo handset From AIROLI, THE MOBILE STORE a month earlier..and one day while trying to read a message, it went blank and then started hanging display was white there was no other problem with the phone only the display was a mess and it hung for minutes while trying to operate...submitted it to a service center in VASHI and it has been around 20 days now. If i call them they tell that they dont know how much time it will take to repair that handset. Parts are unavailable, they say!!

                  Sony Ericsson Zylo Mobile — Complaint no. 89814276 : Replacement of Sony Ericsson Zylo Mobile

                  Dear Sir / Ma'am,

                  This is to inform you that despite having multiple reminder and followups with nearly 4 to 5 Cusomer Care Representatives and Help Desk Representatives plus two and a half months of patience we have neither got our Sony Ericsson Mobile - Zylo (Owned by Ms. Aparna Juvekar) repaired nor have we got a replacement for it even after waiting for such a long time. The phone is still at the service center and its been too long for it to get repaired.

                  This is simply not acceptable any more and has to be looked into on priority by Sony Ericsson. We need our mobile replaced 'now'.

                  Getting it repaired after such a long span of time is not at all acceptable.

                  I hereby strongly demand to the concerned department and get the mobile phone replaced immediately.

                  Sony Ericsson Zylo — Display problem

                  I am getting display problems with the phone and I bought it in Jan 2011 n getting problem from last 20 days.
                  The screen gets blank n nothing is visible.
                  What should I do?
                  My sony ericsson zylo display went off for the second time which is a rdidiculous thing from such a rocking brand in the industry now.. I need my money back for sure..

                      My sister bought a cell phone last year and within a year, it is starting giving problem. So she went to service center to replace it. Service center guy took the cell phone and said they will check and replace it. But after 3 months now, they are just ignoring it. My sister called them lots of time but no one is giving any proper explanation. Now they are not giving old cell phone also .Every time they say call after some time. She tried to call higher authorities of Sony company in Chennai and Delhi also but they are also just ignoring it.

                      Please help me in this.

                        As I am a Brand fascination of SONY only so I had given this Sony digital camera model no DSC-W310 as a Puja gift to wife (Pratima Sewa) on 22/09/2010 so I made the invoice on her name. The payment was made by my Credit Card. When we got the intimation letter on winning the prize we were happy.As per the conversation on 03/01/2011 to mobile no:-[protected].I had spoke to their Representative and he had advised me to provide my documents of Passport where my spouse name is written(Pratima Sewa),Pan card,original Lucky Draw Coupon and copy of Sale Invoice to claim my Gift so i have send all the Documents of mine with the original lucky Draw Coupon and the invoice copy.I have also courier the Documents through Blue Dart on 3/01/2011.Ref no#[protected].
                        But till date i have not received any calls or any gift from them.Please look into the matter and do the necessary as soon as possible.

                            Dear Sir,
                            I purchased sony ericsson Elm on Oct 2010. My mobile got some problem of netwok reception and I had submitted my phone to "Accel Frontline, Bhubaneswar" on Feb 01. They have reported me that the RF board is to be replaced. Then they took 14 days to repaire the mobile by replacing the RF board. In the time of receiving the phone, I've noticed that the volume keys were not working. Immediately I've submitted again to rectify the problem. Then they took another 3 days to repair that one. After using the mobile for some hours, I came to know that the bluetooth is not working. Other lots of features like noise shield, clear voice, megabass etc. are not coming in the "options" which were present previously. The battery consumption is drastically increased. It was taking only six hrs to get switch off in stand by without attending calls or using multimedia. Now the mobile is no longer useful.
                            Kindly look into the matter seriously because I am really disturbed with the service your people are rendering. This is really ridiculous and harrasing. Now I want a new handset or my money back. Should I go to the consumer court to finalise the issue?

                              I S.Rakesh bought Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 mobile on 12 July 2010 its EMI no is [protected] and i had given for repair in SS Electronics, Ameerpet, Hyderabad. Work order no is SE310SL124480. Problem is head set not charging as well as it is hanging and not connecting to computer. Till 23 febraruary 2011 i did not receive my hand set and i have also given complaint to the customer care department of the company and my service request number is 89579612 but they are not responding to my call as well as talking rashly. The Service center people told that mother board of the hand set was not working properly and the hand set will be replaced after 2 weeks after giving the phone. Till now there was no response from them and their behavior was highly dissatisfying. Please Please do some thing such that i can get my hand set as soon as possible

I am very angry and harrassed customer of Sony Ericcsion Xperia X2: This product I have bought in July 2010 and till then there isnt a day went when I havent regretted for opting for this product. The Sony Ericcsion Xperia X2 I bought was approx 18k and have proven to be total wastage of money. To name a few problem this phone get heated up in 15mins of continuous usage (and this is matter for both if you are using it as a phone or as a internet device) secondly my data keep erroding from its memory card every second month without any warning or anything. after painful 9 months o[censored]sing Sony Ericcsion Xperia X2 loosing my precious data I complaint it at service center on 12.03.11 and they submitted this phone there and then saying that this can only be repaired in Sony Erriccsion company only. They send the phone to the Sony Ericcsion on very next day and after my vigrous follow-up with the customer care of Sony Ericcion they gave back Sony Ericcsion Xperia X2 on 12.04.11 EXACTLY ONE MONTH LATTER that too in different colour. I still accepted the phone but as soon as I get home with this phone it started showing same system of getting heated up and hangging. I showed that handset to that Service station again and they re-submitted my phone on 14.04.11 send it to the Sony Ericcsion again. And now when I want to know the status of my phone the people at customer care are unable to give any answer and telling me to wait for another 10 days. And also when i said that I will complaint of them if they wont give me any concrete answer the guy there simply said to me that you can do that". This is simply ridiculous. Have I bought a phone for 18k to get harrensed. Moreover when I offered to them that if this is not repairable I am agreed to buy Sony Ericcsion Xperia X10 and pay the difference amount but there are also not willing to do that. Now I dont want to deal with them any more and want all my money back. Please let me know the way.

                                I am Saratha from Coimbatore, Brought Sony W100i on December'2010. with in last week i gave service for 3 times & the problem is not yet solved.

                                I'm getting problem like "out of memory" when i want to send msg even if all the msg is empty. This occur very often, after answering or making a call i cant able to send msg... only when i switch off & on i can msg further. I'm presently doing this switching on & off for 12-15 times a day.

                                While switching on its taking minimum of 3.5 minutes to start the normal process. its a big head ache for me which is taking away all ma patience.

                                Another problem is when i work fast it'll get automatically restarted. this also happen when i on camera, some time while seeing photos, hearing walk man and the worst part is the unlock also sometime make the mobile to get restart.

                                The customer care center people is also not friendly, i need to spend lot of time to submit the mobile for service. i hate this things. i have been facing problems since the day of purchase of this mobile.so kindly check on to this problem and see to the replacement of my mobile.

                                sony ericsson spiro — Malfunctioning of the purchased product

                                I am Milky Agarwal at present residing at hydearbad city for emplyoment purpose.I had purchased a cell phone from the CROMA electronics,located at jubliee hills ,hyderabad. The product purchased is SONY ERICSSON SPIRO.The reason for this application is to lodge a complaint against the seller as the product is found to be faulty,which was duly recognized in a span of 5 days from the date of purchase.The said condition was reported to the seller within 10 days as i get a free day just on sunday.I was asked to report it to the customer care service centre of the said company but it remaining close on sundays I wasnt able to do the needful.

                                Still the following saturday being a non-working day for me,i managed to report to the customer care service centre ,wherein they formatted my cell thus updating the software of the same.But even after that i face the same problem,the problem being such as the cell gets hanged up ,n restarts itself just in a transaction of 3 to 4 messages etc.,resulting in the inconvenience in the purpose of communication.The kind of response i get from the authorities here is duly unsatisfactory.As they say that even if the motherboard of the cell is changed,keeping the body same,the problem cannot be cured.I also have the information that the product is being sold even after the company has already ceased the manufacturing of the same some months back,due to the faulty condition of the said model.

                                I on personal behalf would request you to kindly take heed of this complaint,and do the needful as soon as possible.Your quick and positive response would be highly obliged.

                                  hard disk complaint and less speaker clarity
                                  I am owning VPCEA23EN laptop and i am facing the hard disk problem. It was working fine. All of a sudden the blue screen of death came and after that its not booting at all. I have all my data lost. I m too frustated. Very worst laptop ever had. Who will bare for my loss?I had used Lenovo, HP and found it much better. I got that on June 2010. I have Sony TV, Home theater. Even my car stereo is Sony. I had lot of trust on Sony. But now
                                  I am fooled easily by Sony Corporation.The lifetime of the laptop is just 2 years, and for that i had to pay 42k. It makes me to think about all the other investments in Sony and my future plans to buy Sony Products.

                                    I have bought sony ericsson XPERIA X mini pro on jan 4th 2011, the prob i got is not able to receive anything through bluetooth so showed mobile to authorized sony ericsson certified service center they told its software problem and you need to upgrade the software, i told them i got this mobile like this only and its under the warrenty period only.but they told company asked to charge 200rs for software upgradation even it is in warrenty period also.i used almost all company's products like nokia and all, they ll frrely upgrade the software for 1yr.And this is not my mistake also because i got this mobile like this only.And the worst part is the service center people didntt write in bill as well as in job sheet that its under warrenty period they just written no warrenty.

                                      I have bought a Sony Bravia - SONY-LCD KLV-32BX300 in the month of October 2010. They have given me 3 gift coupons (Scratch Card). As per instruction I have sent the coupon no. to the specified no. vis SMS.
                                      Later I came to know as they confirmed that I have won the 3rd prize of a Digital Camera. As per their instruction I have sent all the relevent documents except the original Coupans which were lost by me.
                                      Now they are saying that as I have not sent the original gift coupans my gift has been cancelled.
                                      Is it fair as I have the bill of purchase and have sufficient evidence of my identity ?? My name was also displayed in their official website. I am planning to go to consumer forum.

                                        I purchased Sony Bravia KDl-32EX710 on[protected] which includes free Airtel HD DTH offer with a 3-month subscription to airtel’s Economy Sports Pack OR 4-months of South Economy Sports pack. In addition, HD customers also get a 3-month free subscription to NGC HD. Details of the offer is mentioned in Airtel Media Center website:

                                        But after purchasing the TV, the Airtel person told that the offer has changed and they are offering me 2 months of mega pack which includes no HD channels (which I came to know after installation and activation). Then why the offer was given with a HD TV if I did not receive any HD channel?

                                        I bought SONY BRAVIA 22'' EX3 with which the company lucratively give the three month free Airtel Digital TV connection @ Rs.725. But when you call the customer care of Airtel (stupid of all) for generating customer ID (it takes time) and then your phone number takes 1 day to register in theri database (big problem) the worst is - before hearing your grievance they will try to upsale the other products such as HD TV connection, etc etc packages. that a new client is calling you for assistance and you are up selling other products.

                                        Managed to get some executives number from the store where I first inquired about the TV, he took all my serial number, SPS number o the card I got with the TV and promised me to send people for the installation the next day. Even worst, the installer called and promised 1 hour which has till not happened (its already 24 hrs). Interestingly everyone's mobile is switched off.

                                        They are all looters. WHo suck the blood of the people. Airtel would give such a shame-full picture was not expected. These are the days when people promise hours and delivers it while taking one/two is itself a crime.

                                        Hope I am being heard.
                                        Dear Sir,
                                        I purchased a SONY LCD TV 32 inch (NX500) from Sony World, Habsiguda,
                                        Hyderabad (Phone:[protected]/57). I was supposed to get an Airtel
                                        Digital TV ((HD) free with this purchase. The date of purchase is 9th
                                        May, 2011 and INVOICE NO. is 1100743. Till today I did not receive any
                                        settop box. I had been calling customer care of both airtel and sony
                                        once in every 4 daysfrom the date of purchase. Every time they gave
                                        the same response that there is a shortage of HD settop boxes. Now,
                                        when I called them about 4 days ago, they told me that the offer
                                        period has expired on 31st May and that I wont get the connection EVEN
                                        THOUGH THE PURCHASE DATE (9th May, 2011) IS WELL WITHIN OFFER PERIOD.
                                        I AM COMPLETELY CHEATED BY AIRTEL. I hope this mail wil atleast be responded to.
