Dear Sir

I am an unfortunate and a poor user of Sony Ericsson Mobile phone who is
being harassed by your service center in Bangalore, India.

I will request you to please help me.

"I have purchased one SOny Ericsson W395 on 5th September 2010 from Univercell for a Rs 5500/-(Five Thousand Five Hundred only).

All my friends were insisting that I should go for a NOKIA if I am spending that much but still I trusted Sony and invested in that. But after the painful experience, I think they were right. Even they have
the right to teaseme and they do.

My handset started giving few problems like loosing network, Low Battery Backup, Memory Problem very often and display also used to go blank.

I deposited the handset in your service center several time from date of purchase i.e. every month I deposited for repairing and now I deposited in M/s Service Point, No. 652, 1st Floor, 11th Main, Jayanagar, Bangalore- on 18th March2011 vide work order no SP311ST111424

I want replace the same product with another one if its not possible to repairing because now I am in Warranty Period after the warranty will expired then I am not able to spend for repairing. I am left with no option and choice except to speak to higher authorities like you and update you regarding the FRADULENT PRACTICES being followed by your service centers.

I will request you to immediately look into the matter and I will like you to help me.

    Below are the mails send to sony regarding the part which my cell requires to operate,none of them actually replied or call back for confirmation,as my cell is in warranty period its almost 3 months i have not received my cell part,when called at service center /call center then just say part is not available and would take one more week.they are not even willing to replace the cell if they dont have the part.my cell warrant is been wasted lying in the service center.can any one get me a solution to get my cell back.its very bad to find that reputed company are not respecting the costumer but making fool of them.

    Its almost 49 days since i have given my cell for repair ,i haven't received any communication from Sony regarding whether my cell would be repaired on from your side ,its me who has to call up every time to service center and call center to ask whats the status .its so disappointing when people working at help desk talk rubbish just to avoid talking to customer,this again is very surprising that people working for you are not helping you gain customer but trying to help you lose them.One of you person working at help desk named meenakshi has got no sense to talk to people.first when contacted told that my cell phone part would take time to delivery as of my phone is in warranty they would give me additional 1 month warranty on that part ,when my cell part gets replaced.to my surprise when i called her after 15 days she not only denied the fact that she gave a commitment but also gave reason that the part would be available after 29 march 2011(i.e more 20 days) as they order it in bulk quantity.i don't get the reason that you people would keep phone complaints unattended , unresolved unless you have a bulk order to your assessment.so what do you expect from customer before buying Sony phone that he should ask the retailer or you that do you have parts available so in future if his phone gets damaged it can be repaired soon.you guys in customer service really don't give a to make it your priority to attend to customer need ,but wait for your comfort to come .
    your representative meenakshi not only hung up when asked to give any senior person number to talk , but disconnected it when called up again, such arrogant people are definitely helping you gain customer respect.

    If this mail is read by any responsible person and not by call center employee's i would request him/her to please sort out the issue and help me get my cell back ,
    i would be more than happy to sell the phone once i receive it as i won't like to face this situation again in my future relating to product of sony ericsson.

    To a very disappointing note i don't think trusting sony would help me to make it a trusted brand image in future.

    This i s regarding the vivaz phone which i had bought in october 2010.being in warranty i took it to the nearest sony Ericsson service center at kaizer telecom,wher in i was told that it had its touch pad problem and would be replaced in a span of a week time.to my suprize when i contacted them they said they have't received the part yet and would take more days.
    they even didn't have any policy to give a substitute phone for use till that period,they told told to contact service number and register a complaint on doing which the problem would be resolved as fast as possible said by the service agent.
    its very disappointing to find that such a reputed company can't even help its customer in its described time period .i had been using sony phones for over 5 years now but never expected to be handled this way.
    i have lodge a complaint in service center ,would you kindly sort out the situation ,as if you don't have that touch pad with you why should i suffer for it,kindly say you don't have it and replace my cell rather than making excuses.

    I bought sony ericsson vivaz pro u8i in october end and after 2 months only it was not working fine.i gave it to service centre at pune on jan 22nd.till date i have called n number of times,everytime they are saying more days required.It has been month still they are not giving me exact time period when they will return.I asked for a replacement cell or refunding of money but they are providing nothing.Please help

    I was purchase Sony vivaz Mobil order no:-3745393 from Naaptol company I have many many times complaints registerd in Naaptol customer care no, but they was no response only said our vendor cal u back.
    when ever purchase mobil to till date every time is problem its , speaker problem and also company offer free Bluetooth but they not send me 2nd Time replacement peace is also touch screen problem
    hence also I was sent to company
    I think when company vendor packing any product that time never checking product, hence customer suffering.
    Hence I want Return my money Rs.10289 because the company customer care service is very worstey don’t any update customer when ever call me that time they only complet his peaching.
    Only customer suffefring no problem solve only says our vendor cal you.
    Then I Hope you sent problem company high authority.

      sir,
      i bought a VPCYB15AG laptop on 24th mar. On 5th of April it crashed, i did sent a mail to Sony and i just got a reply regarding the service centers location. nobody even bother to call me. the complaint no was 7228717. however that time i followed the recovery steps and it got OK. today again in the morning when i switch on the laptop i didn't start. i called up the customer care, they simple said we cant assit you, you have to visit the service center. i visited the service center in bhilai as per stated in your mail, amazingly they don't deal with laptop. so i have to all the way 60 kms to raipur. and when i gave my laptop to service center (Star Service) they simply said they have lot of work they will look into it on Monday.
      my problem is i have to leave for mumbai on 12th morning, and i have presentations to be given. all i want to know is firstly why Sony is making such kind of sub standard things, and secondly why customers are fooled around once they have problem in the system.

        i purchased a sony vaio netbook from tech terminal 2, sect 20, chandigarh on 16th feb 2011...wen i started using d laptop at home the same day, i realised that keyboard was not functional...i took it back to the dealer and he stated there must be some problem with the windows..he reinstalled the windows and gave me the laptop back next day..after 1week, i realised that everytime i used to switch it on , it would go the vaio rescue mode first..after 3-4 days, it stopped functioning, dint switch on either...i again went to the dealer, who assured me thaat it was a problem of windows getting corrupted with virus and again reinstalled the windows and returned me the set next day...
        third time again the laptop crashed in 1week, stating operating system not found on screen..this time i went to the service centre and was astonished to know that my laptop is not the same set as i purchased since the serial numbers dint match..the service centre dint accept the service coupon...problem in the hard disc was found...when the dealer was informed of this exchange in set during windows reinstallation with a defective piece, he refused to accept the responsibility...now i am left with a huge mental torture o[censored]sing a defective exchanged laptop, which might again crash anytime, with dealer not helping me out...

        Kindly look into the matter and help me out...

        Yes, I even got the vivo net book.Which is not good at all.The problem occurred very soon.I brought my netbook in March 2011.And so far my laptop got problem very often and now this is the 3rd time i am giving it for service center.Guys the colors looks beautiful but do not buy blindly like me.If you wish to buy.Just go for Apple laptop. which is very good and fast to use.
        I end up saying guys dun buy any sony product.That is not good at all.The dealer promise me of exchanging laptop in case if there is some problem with the netbook within 1 month. When took for servicing they were not ready to help out.I brought it form CROMA center in brigate.(Bangalore) Spending HUGE money is waste if you buy product which is worse.Think before you go ahead.

          respected sir/madam
          my name is satish chandran ([protected]) working in kaya limited. recently purchased a sony ericsson x10i phone from the mobile store in frazer town in bangalore. within the 2 days of purchase i faced a quite issues with phone like ear volume was less, got hanged everytime, homescreen get jamed and most importently the battery hardly remains for 4 hrs, even if you dont use the phone the battery was going down. i was really dissapointed and went to the store and asked for a new set but they refused it and put me in phone with there sales officer mr. shiv , i spoke to him and made him understand that there lots of issue with phone but he spoke to me very badly, insulted me and also told you do what ever you want to ...

          then i went all the way from my home which is k.r.puram to cunnigham road where they have the srvice centre which was really hopeless....

          they told me this just an s/w issue we will rectify and give you, they did something with phone and promised it will not happen again but just after 3 days it started agian then again i went to them told them its the same then they took the set and told me we will check and give it to you in 2 days but no one turned up after 2 days i myself called but noone responed ...

          after a week i called them and told that when are you going to give my phone they said its still getting rectified i shouted at them saying you guys told me it will take 2 days now wats the problem then they just asked me to come and pick up the set i went again but the give me the phone saying they need the receipt i told i have already spoken to your person and told him i have submitted the reciept some where and he just asked me to get the ref no which i have but they dint give me..... again i went home and got the reciept got my phone but beleive me its the same .... i feel totally cheated by sony ericsson ... spent 24600 rs for no reason and spent almost 3000 rs for just givng it service centre ,,, IS ANY ONE THERE TO HELP .. I HAVE ALREADY SENT A LEGAL NOTICE TO THE MOBILE STORE ..BUT NO RESPONSE YET ...PLEASE SOME ONE HELP .....CONTACT ME AT [protected]

          On 7th of march 2011 I came to your outlet to buy the product NOKIA N8 but store person asked me to buy sony ericsson x10 as the store person told that it is better then nokia n8, it has got 12hr battery back up and never hangs as it’s a android phone etc and the nokia n8 is having some hanging problem and even the store manager mr. syed said the same and after the conversation I made my mind to buy sony ericsson x10.I paid the total amount of Rs.23700/- by debit card on the same day.

          But after 2 days i.e on 09th march 2011, I faced some problem with the cell like
          - touch screen was not working
          - phone got hanged
          - battery consumptions was very poor (hardly remains for 4hrs )

          Therefore I went to the store saying that there is some issue with phone and I need a new peace as this phone is not as per the standard as you claimed, and also it has been just 2 days from the date of purchase. Mr syed and his team refused and said it got some software problem and I need to go to the service centre as we cant do anything. And they put me in phone with mr shiv (sales officer) and I told him again that there is some problem with the phone I need to replace but he spoke to me very rudely, insulted me and said, you do what ever you want to but I will not replace. Which made me feel very insulted?
          Finally came to know that they were just trying to push the sony ericsson x10 to me as they have to achieve there store target. Felt they were more into selling than customer satisfaction.

          I was really disappointed, cheated by them finally I need to go by my own to service centre in cunnighum road and I told them the problem but they said it’s a software problem we will install and give it to you then you will not face the same problem but I told him that software is nothing to do with the poor battery so please check the battery but he said these phones battery is less only, but the Sony Ericsson claim its 12hrs and my phone hardly stay for 4 hrs and even if I don’t use the charge goes down but he was not ready to listen and he did something with phone and assured there wont be any problem .

          I totally lost the faith on phone and every time I use I feel it’s a defected peace which they have rectified and given me.

          The phone was fine for 3 days but after that again it started giving me the same problem but I was not in a position to take off from my office then finally some how on 23rd march 2011, I took off, went to the service centre saying I am facing the same problem so please do something, they collected the phone and said some issue is with phone will rectify and give you after 2 days I told them I stay very far I cant come every time you call me, but no one helped me I deposited my phone to them and they promise me that within 2 days the will be rectified.

          I was waiting for there call but no one called I have to call my self but no one responded, I was still calling for 3 days but still no one answered, at last on Monday 28 march I called them, said that my phone is with you and still I dint get reply the person told me there is some problem we have to check, I told them its already a week and you said 2 days it will be fine but still you say you dint work on it, after he spoke to someone he told me to come and collect the phone but I asked him that just now you told me you need to check again then how come you are asking me to come but he said it is fine sir you can come and collect.

          Now I got my phone but still not satisfied, I feel that as if it’s a second hand phone as they have repaired and given that also not sure whether they have done it or not . I can’t keep going to centre asking to repair again and again. I stay really far and got office too and no one respond to it properly


          I have all the documents which has been given by your respective service centre saying that the phone has got some problems


          On the above mentioned matter I am filling a case in the consumer court against Sony Ericsson for manufacturing defected mobile, The mobile store for not helping and selling defected products even after telling the phone has problem by the customer, The service centre for not responding and asking me to come again and again but still the phone had problem and most important MR.SHIV {sales officer} for taking to me very badly and insulting me


          Therefore expecting a good response from your side

            I have given my cell phone:u10i(Aino) to HarKrishan services, District Centre, Janak Puri for display and slide problem on 10 March,2011. They have such a poor after sale service that they are not able to arrange some parts to rectify the problem. Today, its more than 25 days since my cell phone is with them but the status of the handset is same: "waiting for the part". I had even registered my complaint: 89935654ri on Sony Ericsson's complaint deptt on phone, but they also speaks the same language.

            I think Sony Ericsson has lost all the good image they had initially. My 2 friends are also facing similar issues with service centres of Sony Ericsson.

            I strongly discourage purchase of Sony Ericsson's handsets because they have very very poor after sale services.

            Oh God!! Why the hell I bought Sony Ericsson phone. Last year, In December, I faced the similar problem wherein I gave my phone to HarKrishan service center as this center is the only center close to my residence. These illiterate guys told me that they will fix the problem within 15 days.Undesirably, I ought to give my phone to these people as I had no other option. I repeatedly requested them for a standby phone, but they denied stating that their policy doesn't allow for the same. Still I was content with the thing. I was indignant only when they started saying the same rubbish answer that (After 15 Days) that "Sorry! It will take another 15 days as we are waiting for the parts". What a company... They didn't fixed the problem even after 2 and a half month.

            Guys... Never go for Sony Ericsson handsets. Undoubtedly, they look good, but you will definitely gonna suffer afterwards..

              Sony Ericsson Mobile — MANY PROBLEMS

              Sir,
              I am R.Dhamodaran from trichy.I have bought SONY ERICSSON F305 model on 22/08/09 from UNIVERCELL mobiles in trichy and started to banglore for my exams.From the day when I got my mobile its getting hang off and it gets white display.I am unable to use my mobile continuously for more than five minutes.After completing my exams I returned back to UNIVERCELL mobile shop and reported the problem but they told it was due to software problem and gave it for service on 9/9/09.After a week I got back my mobile.Even though the same problem continued so I reported this to sony ericsson customer care but I couldn’t get proper response.
              Within two days I got the same problem and I gave it for service for second time even after that I cant get it in proper working condition so I went to chennai and gave the moblie for service on 22/09/09 and they have replaced some of the parts and also my problem was not solved and I complained in the univercell shop to claim for the replacement and handed over my mobile,after a month they gave back mobile stating that motherboard has been changed and they didn’t provide me the jobsheet of it,and also I cant get solution for my problem and gave the handset again on december and they replaced some of the parts on 28/12/09 and I got the mobile today from the shop.while checking the mobile in the shop itself I got the same problem and reported it to the incharge person in univercell but they are not providing proper solution.
              I got new mobile on 22/08/09 from the date of purchase till today my mobile was sent for service for six times.I want to know whats the purpose of getting new mobile and I am highly disappointed for getting this new mobile.I couldn’t use this mobile from the day when I purchased it.
              I cannot use this mobile anymore after making service for six times and the problem still continues .So I request you to replace me the handset or allow me to get the some other model in sony ericsson.I believe sony ericsson will do customer satisfaction and I am sure if the mobile shop responds same to all the people then u will loose many customers.Hope to receive positive reply from you soon.Here with I have attached my bill copy and the job sheets so far done,two more job sheets were with the univercell shop itself.

              I am A. Sophia from Chennai. I have bought SONY ERICSSON W595 model on 14/05/09 from THE MOBILE STORE in Chennai From the day when I got my mobile it’s getting hang off and it gets running display. I am unable to use my mobile continuously for more than five minutes, no clarity, unstable volume Difficult in charging (Within 5 minutes charge will get down)more reasons. After a long Difficulty again I am back to THE MOBILE STORE and reported the problem but they told it was due to software problem and ask to give in service center. So last Month (January 2010) Visited Sony Ericson Service Center (Venus Perembur Chennai) .After 10 Minutes Itself I got back my mobile get it done. Within a day I got the same problem Even though the same problem continued I reported this to Sony erricson Customer care but I Couldn’t get proper response. Within a day I got the same problem and I gave it for service for second time they didn’t respond me properly they informed they need to change my Mother board Parts & asking amount of Rs 1600 to Replace. Why should I pay for where there is a warranty period? I am sure if they respond same to all the people then u will lose many customers. Hope to receive positive reply from you soon.

                I purchased a sony ericson phone j20i during 10/2010 , but after a month my phone started displaying a massege don't charge and contact to the service centre , i follow the instructions and got the problem resloved through jony electronics at shimla (authorise service centre of sony), the phone started to hang on within a periond of fortnight , the phone was again sent to jony electronics at shimla (authorise service centre of sony), for repair /servicing and the problem was rectified again, the same problem again encountered after twenty days. and was again repaired from above said service centre , but now for the forth time in a period of five months the similar problem is being faced. as such it seems there is a manufecturing defects in the phone. As my phone is in warranty period the same may be replaced please .

                  sony is merely making profits and making fool of the customers who trust on them blindly i wann to complaint that i purchased my sony bravia LCD last year same month march and after year completion which was 10 days back suddenly the screen went black and when i called sony customer care they asked me to give 770 Rs as a labour charge and visiting .
                  I'm really v v surprised and annoyed that a brand sony on which we trust blindly is also not trustworthy within a year how can this thing happen
                  plz anyone suggest me what to do should i go to customer court or sit quietly n tolleret their nonsense

                      I gave my 14 inches videocon television PCB to take away to the company on 31 st march 2011 for repair (just to change the transistor) to SONY ELECTRONICS, New maruthi nagar, Chaitanyapuri, Hyderabad whose technician who reported me at home in response to the enquiry put on Sulekha.com. At that time, he promised me that being a simple problem, he will deliver it on 1st march or in the morning of 2nd march. On 2nd march, on calling the office, the executives told that they have given a holiday to all technician in view of world cup final and though it is ready they wont deliver the television PCB before monday 4th march.
                      Called the technician and he is telling that he is busy with the office work and will come soon.
                      Clear lies.

                      What shall i do??????

                      i took the holiday from my hospital to enjoy the cricket match at home, but the response on the part of the company is pathetic. if they do this with professionals like me, what about the lay man???
                      and also did not receive the calls afterwards.

                      PLEASE NEVER EVER TRUST THIS COMPANY for anything. Just a advice to avoid frustration.

                      I posted my requirement clearly on sulekha.com site as "NETLON Screen Mesh for Mosquitoes" for my rooms. But unfortunately Sulekha has misinformed the agents as "Pest Control" and since morning I have been bothered to take phone calls which are unnecessary for both the parties.

                      I strongly recommend Sulekha .com to take note of this and make sure to refine their info. sent to the agents. Please arrange to take action immediately otherwise as a senior citizen with such annoying and disturbing calls for no reason/result might lead to sought 'consumer court's help'. Thank you

                          Please refer to my numerous complaints registered with the customer care helpline (Comp No. 7158772 , 23.03.2011) and several mails (ref no. 7183021 and 7158774) in respect of the malfunctions (Hazy/ Blurred picture and non uniform distribution of the backlight over the surface area of the panel) exhibited by the TV set (40EX720) I purchased from Sabharwal Electronics Dwarka Delhi.
                          An engineer Mr. Tikkoo visited my premises on 27/03/2011 to examine the TV set and explicitly agreed to my complaints that the back light intensity on the panel is highly heterogeneous owing to which the picture quality is very poor, smoky and hazy in patches. He asked me to request the company to provide refund as this particular model of TV is newly launched with new circuitry and all TV sets of this model are governed by these facts, hence replacing the TV would not solve the problem. He asked me to provide the photocopy of the invoice and the warrantee card which I did with alacrity.
                          May I mention here that in no case I am interested to get the refund as I needed a good TV for entertainment? However, the pathetic picture quality of the TV I bought for Rs. 83000/- frustrates me and my family members and I repent on my decision of buying a Sony TV. Furthermore the boorish attitude of the service department of Sony India has aggravated my miseries.
                          I therefore request you to intervene into the matter and arrange to pave the way to end the miseries I am suffering at the hands of Sony India.

                          I would like to bring to your kind notice that we have purchased a LCD 32" Bravio T.V. from Dubai and brought it to Secunderbad, Andhra Pradesh. It was working fine for 1 year and suddenly one day it stopped working. When we contacted sony service centre they said as you are under warranty period and you have purchased the T.V. from Dubai you have to get it to Dubai and in India we cannot do anythiang as in India it is only 1 year warranty and in Dubai it is 2 years.

                          I don't understand, a reputed big company like Sony how can they do this to the customer and that to a middle class family who buy LCD paying 50, 000/- and above.

                          I request, the Managing Director of this company to take a positive action by doing justice to us and to Keep up your Brand Name, otherwise Sony T.V.'s are like use and throw.

                            This is with regards to the Sony Ericsson X10i phone purchased from sony ericsson enterprise (details of phone and purchase as in this email below.)
                            With deep regrets I wish to inform that the phone was purchased on companies good reviews however, I have been experiencing problems with the phone since a week of my purchase. Currently the phone is lying with the authorised service centre at Patna.
                            Description of the problem: I was handed over the phone to Aditya enterprises (Patna) on march 11 ,2011. The major problems are (but not limited to): poor battery backup and screen tapping problem. And after checking the problem I was informed that the phone will be swiped in a week but, when I visited to them after the promised date they told me to come after 2 or 3 days .Again I went to them and they told me that your phone has not come yet so kindly visit us after 2 or 3 more days. Well, so on March 24th I went to the service centre and it was really very disappointing moment for me. They did not swipe the phone and still the problem of the phone persists. I am informed that the phone will be swiped on same work order number.
                            Now you tell me what should I do. I m feeling really very disappointed. I hope you very well understand the kind of mental tension i am going through due to the lack of phone and continuous non-cooperative attitude of the service center.

                                DIWALI...i got a problem with this handset on jan 30 and submitted in
                                the nearby sony service center (BRIGHT SOLUTIONS) on jan 31st...You
                                just imagine yourself what kind of service center u r maintaining in
                                INDIA , that i have'nt got my mobile till now which is almost 2 months
                                over....within two months three mother boards are placed IMEI

                                mother boards are scrap boards which you people are replacing in the
                                mobiles and giving back to customers...hatsoff for your deception..and
                                the maintenance of your service center..

                                i came to know that i have done a great mistake in buying
                                a sony ericsson mobile with poor servicing center, i dont want to
                                waste my time anymore...the way your representatives speaking with us
                                , clearly states that whatever the customer executive says is the
                                great deception VEDA for the customers..the ridiculous answers given
                                by your executives represents how well u people have trained them to
                                cheat the customers...asking us to wait for 15 days more , 2 days more
                                again 2 days more blah blah blah..DONT try to MISMERIZE THE
                                CUTOMERS...NEVER THINK CUSTOMERS ARE FOOLS TO LISTEN TO YOU PEOPLE

Sir from the date of purchase i have submitted my cell phone two time in sony service center which is in nehru place its adderss is G-4,5,6 chandra bhawan building no 6768 nehru place ph[protected]. First of all their service is too slow they have return my cell too late in b/w 20 to 25 days.
                                  Now third time there is a minor problem on which they have spend 20 days on it.
                                  Today when I have call there recitalist has pick up the phone she has said me after one week I'll get the status of my wheather it will be in good condition or not. At that time I've a long argument with her after that she had gave me the phone no. of Mr.Sourav=[protected] She said that he is a manger of sony service center of nehru place.
                                  When I have call Mr. Sourav at that time I was in anger mood He said that the spare parts of that phone is not available from the host, He gave me the no of Mr singh whose phone no is=[protected].
                                  they have rome me a lot about that minor problem of this phone. After that i have called MR. Singh for a long time he has not pick up the phone from 2:30 to 5 pm. At 5:15 he has picked up the phone when i have remind him about the problem which i"m facing regarding the late reply of the service he said that i should call Mr. saourav back again and ask about the status of the phone i have said that how much money i would spend on the phone call for my phone at that time he said me that i should pich up my phone from there and he will give me address of another service center i said that how many days it will take in roaming me about the phone i said that if this phone is not able to repair so plz exchange my phone to another one because it is in warranty he said that i'll not give any new phone and your phone will be reapir in next 15 days.
                                  I've asked his officce address to go there and to take some strick action about him. He said that i'll not give my officce address to you.

                                  Sir please i'm requesting to you to take some strick action because i'm facing so many problem without my phone.

                                      i got two different answers from crew ...one said it is closed it can b only repair on monday and other said it wiil take an hour because we are having lunch...
                                      and actually they were doing just talking each other ...their were no responsible person who can give my answers ..not a single attandent with positive response.....sony ericsson staff are very disapponting they should value of their customers time..
