Hi,

In reference to above mentioned subject that I am very much frustrated after I bought Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 (The Electronics Store, DLF Place, Saket, Bill No. 4CB[protected], IMEI no. [protected] dated 01-Jun-10 for Rs.24996.00) as I was using P 910i since Yr 2006 and it’s was quite good experience and I used all available applications which always give me feel of proud to own P 910i.

After I lost that phone I went for Sony Ericsson only as told by dealer that you can transfer backup of P910i to Xperia which is not possible.

I bought Xperia on 01-Jun-10 but because some renovation is going at my home on I am not able to use my phone now I started to explore the phone but I am totally disappointed as it’s too slow to response the application and infect could not perform action applied and hanged while using (Require to switch off/on). I cannot explain all as no. of issues in phone.

I have updated with latest software version and also given to Sony authorized service centre (Technocare, Lajpat Nagar-II on 08-Nov-10) and they have my phone with new IMEI ([protected]) after using new phone also experiencing the same concerns. I don’t understand why this phone lunched in market for beta testing.

I really don’t understand what to do with this phone as I spent huge amount money and could not able to use it. It’s impacting my business responsibility.

Requesting you please take action at your end immediately refund the money I have spent to buy this phone.

I use to prefer Sony products and using all products for personnel use and I never thought that Sony will also produce such kind of product.

I have given handset to Service Centre Technocare, I-11 Lajpat Nagar-2, Near Hero Honda Showroom, New Delhi Ph.[protected].

Also logged case with Sony call centre (Case ID 89177902 dated 18-Dec-10) requested for refund of money and also registered through Sony email compliant Ticket 88971792 dated 25-Nov.

I am not getting any proper response to when I will get my money back as I am helpless and bought another handset avoid to hamper my routine office duties.

    the mode switch of my v cam wasnt working so i took it to sony authorised service centre in trivandrum, madona sales and they said that the mopde switch needs to be replaced. I left the cam with them but even after a week it coudnt be repaired as the part wasnt available. At that point of time i was serving in trivandrum and i was going to japan for a fortnight and i needed the vcam and since i was going thru delh i thought tat i will get repaired at delhi where i will be staying for 10 days before going to delhi. In delhi i took the vcam to sony authorised sevice centre, somru technologies, 114 palam extension sector7, dwarka, new delhi-75. they said that it will take them 2-3 day to repair the vcam. bit even after 7 days due to non availability of part the vcam couldnt be repaired and on 23/09 i left for japan without the vcam. i returned back from japan on 8/09 and on 9/09 i went to somru technologies to get the cam and they said that it has been repaired. on checking the vcam i gound that even though the mode switch was working they had spoilt the lens of the vcam. Initially they didnt agree that it was their fault but later they accepted their fault nd agreed to repier the same free of charges but said that it will take another week;. i told them that im not from delhi and its not possible for me to come to delhi from trivandrum to collect the vcam, but they said that they are helpless and that the vcamcan only be repaired after the part is available, so i left the vcam with them and left fortrivandrum. in the meantime i got posted to indore and it been 2 and half months and my camera is yet to be repaired. they have never called back and informed me about the status, however every call of mine has benn replied with the same answer- part will be available in one week and the vcam will be repaired. I donno what to do, i cannot take the vcam without getting it repaired by them and they are not repairing the camera which they spoiled during repair.

      Sirs,

      I had purchased a 26” SONY BRAVIA LCD TV for my home on[protected] from MALDA (WEST BENGAL) Dealer. It became out of order on[protected]. I had informed the matter to your local dealer and then to your Authorized Service Centre at MALDA. They had sent two service personnel to my home for look into the matter. But they had been found layman and could not diagnose the problem of the TV rather they proposed me to send the TV to their service centre. I had arranged to send the TV to your Authorized Service Centre on[protected]. After examining the TV they informed me that the POWER BOARD is defective and to be replaced. I requested them to repair the segment of the board which was defective so that the bill would be minimized. But the service personnel of the Authorized Service Centre told me that the defective segment can not be repaired. After a month on 14/10/2010 they informed me that the TV has been repaired by replacing a Power Board and billed Rs. 9500/- against repairing. Then I requested them to reduce the bill amount because the amount is too high to be afforded. They have given me an option either to pay the full repairing amount of Rs. 9500/- or if I allow them to take defective board they would make a discount of 20% and I have to pay Rs. 7600/-. Moreover the service centre giving only one month guaranty on the new board.

      In this circumstance, I wish to ask you that if the segment of the board could not be repaired why the authorized service centre is ready to take it from me ??? It means the said board can be repaired. But only to exploit the customer and to make their sale, they have replaced the entire board ! If my TV creates the same problem after one month (as the service centre provides one month guaranty) what shall I do ?? Shall I have to replace the board again with the huge amount ?? Have I purchased your TV for 2 or 3 years ??

      I request you to look into the matter carefully and inform me immediately otherwise I shall have no other option but to take necessary steps against your Service Centre.

        i am Mr.Sarath K Babu from kerala came all to chennai to repair my mobile at chennai anna nagar sony show room named swagat sony showroom servicing center. i called up the show room and they told that it will cost 2800rs for the touch screen including the service charge and there by i ordered for the screen. after reaching chennai they told that it will cost about 5500rs for the screen. this is not what expected from a multi national company like sony. this case is a curious one which will make the customers feel bad about the company and its servicing. the people working at the showroom was behaving like as if we customers are beggers and they are not at all giving any respect for the customers. this is not to be further encouraged by the company like sony. i got the mobile repaired at other shop for just rs.800. see the difference in the rates its more than 300rs. i enquired here at kerala also about the rate of the touch pad and screen and the rate i got was 1800rs, but they told it will take more than 1 month to get the spares. so kindly take this to ur notice and take appropriate action against this. looking forward for ur reply([protected]@gmail.com). don't ever let this type of incidents happen again with sony customers.. i feel so bad for what had happened,your service center's should not cheat customers like this.

            I had purchased a sony ericsson spiro w 100i in month of october 15/10/2010 i was having lots of problems from first use e.g it was getting hanged and restarted itself and i was not able to access internet at all i was not able to download even a single wallpaper even downloading a song was impossilbe

            As far as service center and sony ericsson customer care is concerned they are not giving any kind of support,

            When i went to the service center they upgraded it with new software twice "se[protected]" on 23 october and it was resubmitted on 25 october in noida sector 18 but still problems were stood same as earlier,

            Last time i submitted my handset in service center "SE310VRO10854" in rohini sector 3 as per their information motherboard was needed to be changed and it was changed also but even now i am having same concerns with the mobile and i have not used it properly for one day even kindly help me out as now i am not intrested in this handset anymore and i want my money to be refunded asap..

            totally stupid phone please don't prefer sony ericssion enough though i hold c510 which is really awesome bought 1.5 yrs back

            Sony Ericsson — Defective sony ericsson spiro w 100i

            Problem in mobile phone for which I am not getting any solution

            I am Husen, I bought sony Ericsson Spiro(w100i) on 24th oct. 2010 and from the 4th-5th day am facing a lot of problem with the handset like hanging, restart n a lot more. For that I visited D service centre about 10 times n evry time i reached there, they use to say just have a software updation, mobile's motherboard have to be changed..... within 2 months i got 3 times software updation in my mobile, once they hav changed the motherboard and even then when the problem was not solved the company gave me a new same handset of spiro. after getting the new handset I am again facing the same problems even more than before. I am not getting a proper response from service center.

              I bought Sony Ericsson Hazel (J20i) model on 17th December 2010, as the World knows it has 5 megapixel camera but when we click the image and transfer it to the computer it shows 1600*1200 resolution and in phone if we see the details(information) of the picture it shows 5 megapixel resolution i.e. 2592*1944, the camera is set to 5 megapixel mode, so either my computer is wrong or Sony Ericsson Hazel. I want the explanation.

              Hazel(J20i) — problem not resolved

              I had submitted my mobile phone model sony ericsson j20i(Hazel) to Sony Ericsson service center Accel Frontline Service, Accel Care Center, Detect Computers & services B-42 Kasturba nagar, Near Chetak Bridge([protected]), 09-Sep-2011. From there i got job sheet (SE[protected]) and they told me it will take 7 days maximum . after 6 days When I called to service center they told me it will take 10 days more.Now 20 days gone but my complaint not resolve.As per your Survice station part is not available now.And They Not Do anything...
              I am really frustrated to hear lame excuses and but sorry to say that the service of
              Sony Ericsson which they provide to the customers is really pathetic...

              This is my 3rd Sony Ericsoon hand set, but now i decided next time i will not purchas Sony ericsson hand set...u

                I recently ordered a Sony 4Gb Pendrive from HomeShop18. However as I do not do much shopping online I was hesitant to pay through a credit card. Not only that I am also not very comfortable with giving out my details online. But I found out that Homeshop18 has a offer whereby you can pay for the product on delivery. I found this unbelievable but decided to try it anyway. I ordered the product for which the shipping was free and it was delivered to me a week later and I paid for it then. This is amazing for people who do not have credit cards and prefer to pay via cash.

                    Hi,

                    This is rather distressing. I had been using the Sony Ericsson mobile for over 2 years and very recently on connecting the phone to my laptop, which was connected to internet i got the prompt to update my software. i got tempted to do it. On trying it out i got a error message saying the install caould not be completed. Now the phone has been dead ever since and i am just unable to switch it on. Even though i have taken a backup of my contacts, as suggested by the SE site i have just learnt that the backup can only be restored to that very phone and cannot be read or opened by any other software either on the computer or even any other Sony Erisccon phone.
                    This is absolutely absurd. I then gave my phone to Sony Ericsson authorised service centre in Thane. They took about 15 days to find out that they cannot repair it at their end and would need to send it to Chennai for repair, to which i agreed. Upon calling them again several times i was informed that the charges would be Rs. 2,500 as the motherboard needed repair. I am unable to understand how a software update could lead to hardware problems. But i still agreed and asked them to go ahead and repair it. Now after about 20 days and many more calls i have just learnt that they were unable to repair the mother-board at all and that it would need to be replaced, which would cost about Rs 10,000.
                    In the meanwhile i even wrote to the management i.e. Anil Sethi, Anders Runevad; Dick Komiyama asking for some solution, but they have very conveniently ignored my mail. Such apathy towards consumer is possible only in India.because there is no forum for redressal of these complaints. I would only suggest to people to not buy Sony Ericsson phones as the company just doesn't deserve to have a customer.

                      I have purchesed sony zylo (W-20) from hi fly mobile shop kota shopping center on 25th of augest 2010 and after two and half month there is many problem in the same like:-
                      1-voice not hearing at the time of calling
                      2-mobile not ringing
                      3-speaker phone not working.
                      4-battery bake up also problem

                      and 27th of nov 2010 i go to kota service center at kotari charaha they told me that they havn't a required part and time taking to repair approxx one month and told about jaipur service center to repair earlier so i submit the mobile to repair today 20th dec. i not get the mobile and satisfactory answer also they always told that we have not getting the required part when we will get the part your mobile repair then.

                        I have purchased a sony hi fi system in the month of january 2009 and since then i have been in trouble for various reasons.First of all the video cd was not playing starting onwards but we thought may be there is some problem with our cds and finally we gave it for repair in the month of september 2010 and when contacted to the service centre they said there is some problem with the lens,so we got it changed some parts for Rs 2000 inclusive of service charges and got it in the month of october 2010.Again since last one week the same problem has raised and today when we contacted our service centre at samta colony raipur,they have sent a person and the service person said there is some problem with the stand by which has to be thorougly checked but as per initial inspection it seems that the repairing charges will be around 3-4 thousand rupees.I am a big follower of sony products and i own various products of sony and even recommeded the brand to my friends but now i am fed up with the product as it is continuously creating trouble.If you see initial 2000 and now 3000 to 4000rs for repair that to within 2 years means around 30% of the total cost of the product.Please let me know what can i do in this regard.

                          Recently my Sony TV had a small problem, we approached a service centre voice Media,Besant Nagar and LB Road ( Bhoopalan and Balaram) thru adyar times Ad, we called and person came to our home , after checking the TV , He said cannot repair here and we allowed him to take the board and after that there is no proper response from the service guy and owner. Not Even told about the problem. After great struggle he came back next day and told it has been repaire d, changed the part and fixed the board and it was working for a day and now our TV's Display is not visible at all. I realised the guys cheated us.

                            This is to inform you that my cellphone I given to sony service center has been completely damaged by the technicians of sony ericsson
                            I am holding a W580i it had one simple battery problem, then I gave my phone to sony authorized service center in Calicut they told me that, they cannot repair it so they will this to sony ericsson directly you can collect your cellphone after two months. I agreed with them and I gave my cellphone. After two months my dad gone there to collect, they told him, the company said that the only thing they can do is change the entire board it has around[protected] rupees. Then my dad took the cell and came back to home, then I saw the phone, I noticed a lot of damages with my phone.

                            Damages are listed below.

                            1, keypad not working
                            2, camera not working
                            3, didn't screw the body
                            4, in the phone book there are some unknown contact numbers
                            5' unknown romantic sms in sms inbox
                            6, unknown images in gallery

                            These 6 problems I noticed after I got my phone back from sony service center......

                            I hope you consider my complaint and take action against them

                            Hi,

                            This is a urgent complaint, receiveing unwanted SMS every 5 mins, the message here it goes...

                            Note:Kindly rectify this matter on priority and aknowledge the same

                            Sony — Damage by Sony Service centre

                            I gave the camera for repairing the "Click button", but the service centre (Indira Nagar, Bangalore) damaged the lens and now they are refusing to correct the problem. When i recieved my camera, it was showing error messages and was not functioning so i told them, the service centre told me that it is a problem of bad repairing hence the it will be repaired free of cost. But now they are refusing for everything. The employees are just asking me to call this person and that person . I tried talking every possible person but nothing is working.

                              i had baught my laptop on 30th aug 2010 from life computer,varanasi but within a week my laptop hard disk is being changed from sony service center due to problem occured in my laptop . after 4 month later some problem occured again and hard disk is being changed .i request to plz replace my laptop my laptop s/o is s[protected]
                              i had brought a sony vaio E series laptop, modei no VPCEA16FG. serial no is 7000840 in my laptop has some complaints that is my OS has corrupted first time then i formated it by rocovery and that complaint has arise intermidietely for some times so i contact KG ELECTRONICS, COIMBATORE sony service centre, and they help me and after several times (4 times) that problem has arise, when i contact ur sony online customer care they said there may be a chance to be hard disk problem,
                              PROBLEMS IN MY VAIO:
                              1. OS IS NOT RESPONDING WELL
                              2. SCROLL IS NOT WORKING
                              3. WHEN I DELETE SOME THINGS IN MY DRIVES THAT FILES ARE DELETED BUT MEMORY IS NOT REDUCED
                              4. SOME TIMES WHEN I COPY SOME FILES TO A DRIVES IT HAS COPIED BUT THAT FILES IS NOT SHOWN BUT WHEN AGAIN I COPY THAT FILE THAT SHOWS ALREADY HAVE

                              AND ETC
                              but the KG ELE staffs did not take care about my problem and did not troubleshoot my problems i.e did not changing the hard disk, and ur service is free but what about my transport cost for 4 times it nearly cost 1000RS BUT ITS OK i will tace care about it but how long i struggle with ur custome care service, in case of other companys like DELL, lenovo and etc are come to home and trouble shoot lap problems,


                              pls help me to change my harddisk and i trust you to take about my laptop,

                                I came from Riyadh through Emirates flight on 17-Nov-2010 flight No. EK 0818 from Riyadh to Dubai and Dubai to Chennai Flight No. EK0544 on 18-nov-2010.

                                I bought Sony Bravia LCD Television EX 400, 32 inch at Riaydh. I took this TV put in luggage. But While receiving time my TV picture was damaged.

                                Now I was spend Indian rupees 12000/- for changing picture tube.

                                I want to know how it was happened. My thought, this was happened by doing somebody valuntory. Same kind of happend my friend TV also.

                                I am return back same emirates flight on 17-Dec-2010 flight No. EK 545 from chennai to Dubai and Dubai to Riyadh EK 0817.

                                If you didn't reply this mail I will cancelled my ticket in emirates.

                                In Emirates this kind bad service they are doing. I will explose this issue at my company level.

                                My company most of the tickects are booking emirates. It will create bad image.

                                Pls send the reply with proper information.

                                      sony ericsson w100i is very very very very worst product the phone il get stuck minimum of 4times per day it il not process fastly even if we want to make a call it takes 15seconds sometimes if we open the camera also it il get restarted some times the phone il stuck at that time we cant even switchoff our mobile we have to take the battery directly then only it il work battery wil come only for one day so on the whole its very worst product only benefit of this phone is headset they are awesomean nd this sanath [protected]

                                        I purchased a Sony Ericsson mobile, model T-715 on date 16/12/2009. It is feeling very bad to say that as I use the mobile from the very first day it has many problems. Due to these problems I have submitted my mobile many time to service centre as Lajpat Nagar, Delhi, vide work order nos. SE310TCC12625, SE310TCC14109, SE310TCC11042. I again submit my mobile at the same service centre vide work order no. SE310TCC12272 on date 10/12/2010. Even the problem has not resolve after changing the board also on date 05/10/2010. Every time whenever they receive my mobile, they never wrote the estimated time for return the mobile. They always said that you have check on the website. I want to say that I have submitted my mobile to your service centre 4 time & approximately 100 days. Each time when they return the mobile said now this is OK. But the problem retains same. Also warranty will expire on date 16/12/2010. Due to it I have very much fed up & disturbed. Because you can see that I received my mobile on 05/10/2010 after change of the board and it is again broke down. I have informed to the customer care also and they give me the ticket ID no 89087847. This type of service & product quality can not be supposed by the esteemed organization like Sony Ericsson.



                                        I have the only request from your side; please replace my handset as soon as possible because I don’t want to take this handset with new problems. Because next time your service centre will not accept my mobile in the warranty period & I will have to see the other way.
