I have purchased sony ericsson mobile from Deep radios Sadar Bazar Jhansi U.P on 19 July 2010. Two months ago I got problem with the keypad for which I submitted the mobile to Betwa mobile service center sadar bazar Jhansi. I got after 35 days, now keypad is ok but its camera is not working and slider is loose. Then I again submitted it, I got it next day but its camera is still not ok ( hanging), then I have to take out the battery to use it again, slider is still loose.

This is Ashutosh Khare again, this time I got my mobile checked by sony ericson service center Noida, where I am living right now. They told me that mobile contains local FLEX ( small cable inside the phone costs 900/-) and its LCD is shortining and need to be changed which costs 1700/-.

BETWA MOBILE cervice center in Jhansi has made my mobile a dump, now if I want to use the phone I have spend that much money which is not covered under warranty.

If you are in Jhansi and want to get service, plz don't go to Betwa Mobile, they just dump your phone.

    I AM SOMIL SINGH.My Sony Ericsson W205 MOBILE does not support mp4 videos.
    but in sony website it is written that it support mp4 videos ,so after going through sony website i purchased the phone,latter i found that actually it does not support mp4 videos and it was also confirmed by sony service centre.but.In their official website it is written that it supports mp4 format or videos.
    I purchased the phone after going through sony website where it is written that w205 SUPPORTS MP4.But latter i found that it does not support the format.When i took my phone to THEIR service center they told me that this phone does not support the mp4 format hence they refused to service it.I called sony customer care
    helpline from myphone where i did not got any satisfactory reply.Finally i email my problem to sony at their email address which is questions.[protected]@support.sonyericsson.com.And in their reply
    they suggested that i should give my phone to service center and provide them, the work order number of my phone.Now after their email their service center accepted my phone for service on 6.1.2011 and in same day i emailed work orderMy workorder number i.e SE311CDW10014 to them as requested by them...But their service center insisted that this phone will not support mp4 so they wait for any response given to them directly from company,they did notice some other problems in the phone(which i did not mention)so they took note of them also.
    I provided my work order number to sony at questions.[protected]@support.sonyericsson.com AS REQUESTED BY THEM IN THEIR REPLY TO MY EMAIL.Then reference no is given to me i.e ''caseIdTag".I even contracted THEIR service center a number of times from my phone [protected] but they keep insisting me please call some other day since their system is in progress. ON 15.01.2011 i called again to them i.e sony customer care where i was finally refused for any solution to my problem regarding support of mp4 format by my phone w205. sony help desk executive HEENA SPOKE TO me that day and finally refused that my phone w205 does not support mp4,it contradict WHAT is written in in their official sony website in http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/support/phones/detailed/mediaplayerts/w205?cc=gb... .When i asked her
    to change my handset or refund my money back since i purchased this handset after going through sony website where it is clearly written that w205 supports mp4 format,she simply refused and told to me that she cant do anything and suggested that please take my handset back from service center and except mp4 issue all other issue will get solved.I called the service center [protected] for the progress ,they said me that my handset is in the progcess.NOW NOBODY IS READY TO HELP ME OUT.AND IN their SERVICE CENTER MY HANDSET IS STILL LYING.ONLY I HAVE IS TICKET NO WHICH IS ----X-Ticket: 89111695,TICKET[protected] given by sony customer care.
    THEY DONT RESPOND TO MY EMAILS AND DON"T EVEN TELLS ME ANY DELIVERY DATE FOR MY HANDSET.
    I HAVE FINALLY TOLD IN MY EMAIL TO SONY ON 15.1.2011 TO REPLY "in 15 days" OR I TAKE THEM TO CONSUMER COURT,BUT THEY HAVE NOT REPLYIED EVEN TODAY I.E 2.2.2011.AND MY HANDSET SILL LYING THEIR IN THEIR SERVICE CENTER MY My workorder number is SE311CDW10014

    Memory performance

    Low free memory may slow down your phone performance or result in inability to save new files.

    To check the memory status of the memory card and phone:

    Select Menu > Organiser > File manager.
    Select Options > Memory status.
    To remove files:

    In the File manager, go to a folder and highlight a file.
    Select Options > Delete > Yes to free up space.

    In order to listen to the radio with your phone, you need to attach an accessory that acts as an antenna for the radio.

    Make sure that you have plugged in or attached the headset that came with your phone or use another compatible accessory that act as an antenna. Go to FM radio for instructions.
    Make sure you're located in an open location free from obstructions. If you're located in an enclosed area, such as an elevator or a parking lot, it may cause signal interference.

      sir,
      i had purchased a sony unwired walkman but this time its not working due to some problem actually this has 4 speaker in both side but 1 speaker of one side is not working.n the company is saying that it is non-repairable n it can be replace on 50% which is very costly.at the purchasing time the retailer did not tell me any type of thing.so please tell me another way to repair it or to exchange it.

        Hi,

        I purchased a Sony Bravia 32 inch LCD TV (KDL-32EX710) for Rs 50k from Bajaj Electronics Hyderabad on 26th Jan 2011 which was delivered on 27th Jan 2011 evening. The installation guy from Sony support couldn't turn on the TV for a good 1/2 hr after which it automatically started working. He also passingly mentioned that the TV looked like being a display piece used earlier by the dealer (Bajaj Electronics). Alas the TV was operational for a few hours only and stopped working. I raised a complaint on 29th Jan and no service technician has visited me till date even after making 5 calls and being assured that the technician will come. Sony claims to respond within 48 hrs but that is a Sham. What kind of customer support is being provided in this day and age?

        Fault:
        The red diagnostic light blinks twice which indicates that there is a short circuit in the board. I am surprised to know that basic checks are not done before a TV is circulated in the market. Or has a used piece been delivered to my house which would be shocking and not acceptable?

        I want SONY India to respond immediately on the following
        1. I want a service technician to visit my house immediately to diagnose the problem. The SLA of responding within 48 hrs has not been met by SONY.
        2. If there is any fault with the TV I need a replacement or refund of my money. I don't want my TV to be repaired in 'ANY' Manner . I have dished out 50k for this and don't want a repaired piece starting from day ONE. Such pieces should not be circulated in the market.

        Sony India has agreed to replace the faulty TV with a new one. I am awaiting its delivery with my fingers crossed :)

          I purchased a new Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro handset on 15-Jun-2010 from Sony Ericsson showroom whose address is JLK Enterprises, G-2 Padma Palace, 86 Nehru Place, New Delhi - 110019. My invoice number is 232, dated, 15-Jun-2010.

          In the month of December, I found some issues with my handset. Issues are:
          1. Ear speaker problem: I cannot hear the person's voice to whom I am talking to.
          2. Loud speaker problem: My voice gets flickered and the other person cannot hear me properly.

          So, I decided to get my mobile fixed by handing it over to Sony Ericsson's authorized service centre. I went to Sony Ericsson Service Centre at Nehru Place and they told me that "FLEX" component is not working properly, and it has to be replaced with a new one. And for that I have to wait for 7-10 days. Service Centre's address is Intarvo - Nehru Place, G-4,5,6, Chandra Bhawan, Bldg No. 6768, Nehru Place, New Delhi - 110019. Workorder number given to me was SE310INP11770, dated 20-Dec-2010. After 10 days, I went to service centre and they told that they haven't yet received the spare part, so I have to wait. And they told that I can check the status of my mobile at http://sein.servicetrack.in/. But everytime, it showed me that my handset is under repair.

          On 29-Dec-2010, I made a complaint at Sony Ericsson's Customer Care (Ph:[protected]. I got a ticket number 89259551, dated 29-Dec-2010. The agent, Rahul told me that the spare part would be dispatched and call again on 03-Jan-2011 to know the updated status.

          On 04-Jan-2011, I called up at Customer Care on 04-Jan-2011. This time I used Option 3 of IVR, i.e. Help Desk to track the status of ticket. The agent, Hena told me that I would get my handset on 11-Jan-2011.

          I called up again at customer Care on 11-Jan-2011. The agent, Ilma told me that I would get my handset on 18-Jan-2011.

          I called up again at customer care on 19-Jan-2011. The agent told me that I would get my handset on 25-Jan-2011.

          I called up again on 25-Jan-2011. The agent, Hena told me that I would be given the status of my handset on the weekend.

          On 27-Jan-2011, I called up again and agent Hena told me to call again on 01-Feb-2011. I told her that I already lost more than a month of warranty by submitting my handset at the Service Centre and asked if Sony Ericsson would extend one month warranty of my handset. She said "NO". I also told her that if the spare part is not available, then why don't you change my handset with a new one. She said that "IT IS NOT POSSIBLE".

          I felt that I was being cheated by Sony Ericsson’s Customer Care and decided to take my handset back from the Service Centre. I went to Service Centre and asked them the status. They said that they haven’t received the spare part for my mobile.

          I had a blind faith on SE and used to be a big fan of Sony. I recommended so many friends and colleagues for SE handsets. We have 3 handsets of SE in my family. I am having SE W810i since last 5 years and SE Vivaz Pro, my wife is having SE Z550i since last 4 years. And I was thinking to gift SE Zylo to my mother this January.

          Now, I will never recommend anyone to buy SE phones. Now, my 3 yrs daughter is using my SE Vivaz Pro as one of her toys. It has become totally useless for me :(
          Really they give worse service than u mentioned above.
          i m still suffering since 5 months and my phone is still at service center.
          i m still suffering since 15 days and my phone is still at service center.its bad to be a sony ericcson user reaally

              AFTER INSTALATION I WAS NOT IN THE TOWN AND

              THIS IS YOUR DUTY TO CHECK THE GOODS BEFORE FINAL DELIVERY FOR
              ANY MANUFACTURING DEFECT.

              SIR, IF I HAVE SPENT 40000.00 FOR BRAND SONY JUST BECAUSE OF YOUR
              BRAND IMAGE AND QUALITY O[censored]R PRODUCTS, OTHER BRANDS WITH THE SAME
              FEATURES ARE AVA. AT 28000.00 TO 30000.00 IN THE MARKET.

                I bought a Sony Xperia x10 mini from univercell, T nagar branch. Only in the invoice i found that they are not bothered about after sales. So i had to pay for the mobile and get the new one. Within a month of its purchase, the screen went blank, though it was fully charged. The touch screen vibrated but no display, SIM not recognised. So i called up Univercell to find that they wont deal with this and so referred to a Sony Ericsson centre at T nagar. They booked a work order and had the phone with them and returned it after 3 days. They said it would not be replaced with a new one and that they have replaced the Board instead as it had problem..now again the problem has occurred and i have to go back to them again.
                Reallly the advt. for univercell are full of bluff...they attract the customers and once they sell it they literally kick them out....
                so my experience says that its better to get a mobile from a local dealer near ur residence..atleast he would answer politely for want of local business..i went from Neyveli to Chennai to buy this dummy stuff..The beauty in all this is i have even taken an insurance policy for this stuff.

                Sony Ericsson / Xperia X10 Mini — VERY VERY POOR SERVICE AND DELAY IN PROVIDING SERVICE

                I HAD PURCHASED SONY ERICSSON X10 MINI PRO FROM "MOBILE STORE" PERAMBUR, CHENNAI ON 14-04-11. A PROBLEM WITH TOUCH SCREEN OCCURED ON 05-11-11. SO GAVE IT FOR SERVICE AT AN AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTRE NAMED
                "UNITED MOBILE SERVICE" WHICH IS PAPER MILLS ROAD PERAMBUR CHENNAI. BUT AS ON DATE[protected] THERE IS NO PROPER RESPONSE FROM THEM AND ALL THEY SAY IS THAT THEY ARE WAITING FOR SPARES. THEY ARE PROVIDING A VERY POOR SERVICE. SO IF ANY BODY CHANCES TO VIEW THIS MESSAGE KINDLY AVOID GIVING YOUR PHONES FOR SERVICE THERE AND I REQUEST THE INDIAN CONSUMER COURT TO TAKE NECESSARY ACTION AGAINST THE SERVICE CENTER.

                  This is to bring to your notice that the complaint # 7902 was lodged with your esteem organization on December 20, 2010. This was regarding the malfunction in the PSP bought from the Croma centre which is under extended warranty.

                  Unfortunately, we have been following up on this for last one month and each time we make a call we are given a different answer or an assurance that some one would get back to us and give us an update. This never happens.

                  About two weeks ago we received a call from the Sony Centre telling us that our PSP has been replaced with a new one and will be delivered to us within a week. However, we have not received it till date.

                  We request you to kindly look into the matter and expedite the delivery of the same.

                    I am making this complaint after trying my best with the Sony Ericsson Service Centre at Lower Parel & Customer Service Desk[protected].
                    I purchased this handset on 1st August 2010 from Sony World at High Street Pheonix, Lower Parel. The handset worked fine for the first month but in September I found the display of the handset was not functioning. I went to the service centre at Lower Parel to get it repaired under warranty. The staff at service centre asked me to keep the handset for testing & that they will inform me further course of action in one or two days. After two days, the service centre replied that the motherboard & battery of the handset needs to be replaced. The service centre sent my handset to Chennai for replacing the motherboard & battery. In this entire process, I lost one month's usage of the handset.
                    Later in Dec10, again I faced problems with the handset. The handset used to switch off on its own & the charging couldn't last for more than 3 hours. I, again, approached the service centre at Lower Parel to get it repaired under warranty. The service centre staff informed me that the battery needs to be replaced. On 20th December 2010, the service centre staff has entered a service request but till date (28/01/2011) the battery hasn't arrived at the service centre. While more than a month (40 Days) has passed, the Customer HelpDesk[protected] is still asking to be patient & wait till 7th February 2011. The Customer HelpDesk has informed that the expected time of arrival is 7th February 2011.
                    I hereby request you to please take action against Sony Ericsson for this deficiency in after sale service. 1. I want an extension in warranty period by two months as I have lost two months in getting the handset repaired under warranty.
                    2. If an extension in warranty period is not possible, I want the purchase price of the handset be refunded & handset be taken back.
                    3. If none of the above is possible then I want a written undertaking from sony ericsson clearly mentioning that the handset will operate to my satisfaction after getting the repair work done on 7th February 2011.
                    4. The service shall not be delayed after 7th February 2011

                      I have buy Sony 3D TV from Thailand and Dealer advice me to register Invoice online for Guarantee but here in India there is no process to register the product.

                      So Don't buy TV from Thailand OR first ask to the dealer for INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY CARD.

                      hi friends, i also face this problem with Sony bravia's display panel damage. when i talked with customer care in India they tell that, i must have the international warranty card. when my brother bought it from Abu-dhabi they told me that, no need any warranty card to get the international warranty service and i'll get it trough just giving the model no.now i'm struggling . do not believe Sony. i'm going to complaint about Sony's cheating through out the media. be careful. robin [protected]

                      I had purchased this TV KDL-40EX700 from carefour in Doha (city centre) 4 year ago, I moved to mumbai 3 year ago, Last month (July 12 2014) the color was displaying properly had more of Green, logged a case with SONY Authorised Service Centre in Mumbai (Metal Tech Andheri)
                      A engineer came to my residence and after checking mentioned that the coil is gone bad and need to replace it, To get the coil replacement took him two weeks. once he fixed the coil the TV did not work and he mentioned that the mother board is faulty, (don't understand why he did not find the fault in first place) without any question we gave him Rs4000/- as advance, Now it is almost more that two weeks and the TV is not yet fixed, no one from the service centre bothers to call, This morning 6th Aug 2014 I called the service centre and was told that the mother board is not available, this was a shocker, the TV is 4 years old and no spares available, SONY Being a Giant Company, the person from the service centre wants the bill/receipt of it, like mentioned I had purchased this from Carefour in Doha City Centre.
                      I would request you to escalate this to higher authorities, and get my TV working

                      Dear all, I just purchased a Sony LED from carefore Dubai in June 2015. After installation in India I faced a problem of panel failure. As other cases Sony India denied for warranty. I approached carefore Dubai they gave me contact no. Of Jumbo electronics, Dubai (which is main dealer of Sony in India). They responded very quickly and get approval of my LED from Sony India. Then Sony India repair my TV free of cost.
                      So I request all of you to contact Jumbo electronics after sales dept. For any issue of international warranty in India.

                        This is Divya. I purchased a new Sony Ericsson Mobile, Model - W20 on 26th December, 2010. But now my mobile's center key is not working. I hardly used it for 20 days. I gave the mobile to a Sony Ericsson Service Center to look into the problem. It is already a week still they have not returned the mobile to me. They are telling that they have to get some new parts for the mobile, motherboard is having some problem, need to replace motherboard, etc. They have not delivered my mobile yet. How can i escalate this issue? I need my mobile back or need a replacement or refund. I really do not know whether there is a problem with my new mobile or what has happened. I need some help and contact information as to whom i can contact and get my mobile replaced if my mobile is really having some serious issues.

                            I had purchased sony ericcson xperia x10i in June 2010 and within few months i had problem with its battery not charging.
                            I gave it for repair at its authorised service center in Vashi (Kaizer) on Dec 11, 2010 and still i havent received it back yet.
                            This has been very poor and innefficient service.
                            Its been huge mistake on my part to purchase a sony phone.

                                THEY TOOK THE SET INSIDE AND AT THE VERY MOMENT THEY RETURNED BACK AND TOLD ME THIS HAND SET CANNOT REPAIR HERE & ALSO TOLD ME THAT U CAN TAKE TO ANOTHER SERVICE CENTER AND THEY ASKED ME TO SIGN IN THE WORK ORDER SHEET AND RETURNED THE SET.

                                AFTER THAT ON 03.08.2010 WE TOOK THE SET TO THE NEXT SERVICE CENTER SWISS TIME HOUSE, B-56,FIRST FLOOR, GCDA COMPLEX, MARINE DRIVE-31, ERNAKULAM,TEL NO.[protected]. THEY RECEIVED IT AND CHECKED IT DETAILED AND SAID IT IS REPAIRABLE THERE BUT TOOK 15 DAYS BECAUSE THE MAIN BOARD IS COMPLAINT. WHEN THEY ENTERED THE DETAILS OF THE SET TO PRINT THE WORK ORDER IN THE COMPUTER THE CONDITION OF THE SET IS MAIN BOARD, CAMERA CONNECTOR, CAMERA, SYSTEM CONNECTOR AND BATTERY CONNECTOR ARE HEAVILY DAMAGED BY LIQUID, BOARD PROBLEM-RWR WHICH IS ALREADY ENTERED BY ACCET COCHIN SERVICE CENTER.                                   Respected Sir,


                                  This is to complaint against a Sony Ericsson phone I bought in December 2009. It is a Sony Ericsson model T715 phone with IMEI no.- [protected]-3. The phone was broght from Ganpati Mobiles, Lucknow on Dec 25,2009. Within two months, the phone started showing problems in charging. I being a student of Bits-Pilani, cannot come home before 5 months, once I leave.
                                  I submitted the phone to Sony Ericsson service center, Near Tej Kumar Plaza, Lucknow in July 2010. I submitted the phone with the only problem being in the charging socket of the phone. They returned the phone to me after some fourteen days, saying that there was a problem with the mother board, which has been changed. I was running short on time then, so one of my relatives received the phone on my behalf, and I taking the phone from him, left straight for Pilani. On reaching back, I discover that now there is an additional problem with the phone- the phone was not detecting the memory card. I called up your customer support officer and told him about the entire problem, and my incapability to access any of your service center within another five months. He assured me that whenever I submit my phone to them again, I would be completely solved with the problem.


                                  On December 13,2010 , I submitted my phone to the same service center vide WorkOrder no. SE[protected] with the problem of memory card not being recognized by the phone. When I went to collect my phone on December 20th, they gave me my phone with the problem still there. They had not even tested the phone, as soon as I inserted my memory card into the phone, it didn't recognize the memory card. I told the lady on the counter the phone is not yet OK, and she asked me to wait. After waiting there for some twenty minutes, she tells me that there is some problem with the motherboard, and it'll take time. I told her that I'll be leaving the city for six months, and asked her the time my phone would take. She told me that it would not take more than 8 days, and I gave her the phone back. The employees at the service center do not answer any phone calls. On reaching the service center on Dec 30th, 2010, I find that my phone has still not been repaired. I requested the lady for the urgent requirement of the phone as I won't be in the city for six months again. She assures me of getting my phone back by 3rd January,2011. Today on 4th january, I still do not have my phone and the lady at your service center says she cannot say anything about the phone.


                                  Sony ericsson, being such a reputed firm, I do not expect a 10,000/- Rs.phone's mother board to get spoiled within two months of purchase, and it's huge irresponsibility on service center's part that the phone is being returned to the customers with bigger problems, and even without being tested.


                                  I request you to please look into the problem, and take whatever actions are possible as soon as possible.

                                  Sony Ericsson T715 — Problem with handset

                                  it has not been a year i bought sony ericson T715, and it started creating problems. 1st it had problem in its charging socket.i had given to Accel Service centre in pune. they kept my cel for approximately 20days and the day i bought,the same day i went back as the handset was again giving problem. at service centre they told,that the mother needs to be replaced. again they kept my cell for 25days. And the day when i bought the same day it again started giving problem.it used to get switch off, hangs in every half and hour.again i went to service centre and again he is like give your cell for few dwys which is not really possible for me.
                                  And during all these days my warranty period got over. and even i am not able to contact the service operator.

                                    I brought VAIO laptop VPCEA36FG ( 14 inch display ) for MRP Rs 57,990 /-* three days back, just now i came to know that Sony released a new model VPCEB46FG/B which has all the same features and has a 15.6 display and cost only MRP Rs 47,990 /-*.

                                    Now I am stuck with a piece which is inferior to the new one and cost 10,000 more in just one day after buying it. Sony do have return back policy in other countries for initial 15 days. why is it not implemented in India. Dont we deserve that..

                                      I have made complaint to SONY India through their website Sonyindia.[protected]@ap.sony.com and the complaint number is 6786193 on 17 Dec 2010. Regretably, till date I have not been informed about status of my complaint.

                                      I bought PSP from Ludhiana in Jun/Jul 2009 and I noticed that PSP is not charging.

                                      I took PSP to authorised service station i.e., Jaypee Electronics, Noida for servicing on 15 Jan 2011. Representative of authorised service station told me that PSP is beyond repair and offered me buy-back option i.e., purchase of new PSP @ 50% cost of PSP.

                                      What surprised me is that he was not competent enough to check the fuse nor he took any interest in repairing of PSP. but appears to be more interested in buy back arrangement which could be new market strategy of SONY.

                                      I feel SONY is taking customer for ride and desist from repairing rather interested in this kind of design for promoting their goods.

                                        I have given my phone for service at my nearest service centre i.e in borivali because i had problem in the working of my speakers which they innitialy said.Later on i discovered that the problem had been with the motherboard and that too after 10 days when i called at the centre.The centres does not even have spare headphones for backup. First of all they said me that repairing would hardly take a week but now they are saying that it is going to take a month.They also sent the parts(motherboard) to Chennai without my consent and my knowledge which i later came to know on further enquiry.I think that the further decision should be made after getting the consent of the customer.I think that after sales service is the worst. They are not replyin to my calls properly.I would like to say that i m NOT AT ALL SATISFIED with the service provided by ericsson..plz try to bring some change in the service centres...
