This is with regard to a SONY walkman (Model # NWZ-W202/WME) which was purchased on 19/09/2009 from E-Zone, Ashoka Pillar Road branch, Bangalore.
The issue with this set is that it is not charging and as per SONY Service Centre, Jayanagar branch, this cannot be repaired.
This was intimated to SONY team by the Service center to have the set replaced and the reply they have got is negative.
I would like to bring to your notice that this set is just 3 months over the warranty period and also this particular model has been a ‘Failure model’ post its market launch. Hence, I request you to kindly look into this matter on priority and take serious action against SONY India Pvt Ltd. since they are being ignorant to have the set replaced when the product itself has been a FAILURE in the market.

    COMPLAINT NUMBER 6464924 WAS LODGED ON 24TH NOV 2010 WITH THE CUSTOMER CARE AND TILL DATE THE TV SET HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED.

    THE SET WAS INSPECTED BY SERVICE ENGINEER, REPAIR COST QUOTED AND APPROVED ,BUT NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN TILL DATE.

    ITS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS ON PART OF SONY INDIA TO KEEP COMPLAINTS OPEN FOR SO LONG AND CAUSE HARRASMENT AND PAIN TO ITS CUSTOMERS.

      I have video camera sony digital mini DV DCR HC 42 E.which have a problem in site screen display.I given to Autharised sony service center in Gandhaidham “Avani Electronics”Properiter Mr Bharat Gajar for solving my site screen display prob lem on dated 9/12/2010.On 10/12/2010 I received call by Mr Gajar Your repairing cost will be Rs 2800. I told to Mr Gajar Repair it. But after two days I received call again by Mr Gajar your repairing cost will b e Rs 8000 because of circuit problem,I told him there was only screen display problem all function was working normal.At time I told to Mr Gajar Don’t repair my camera returned it in same condition.He call me come to gandhidham and collect it.On dated 14/12/2010 I went to Avani electronics for taking my camera checkd my camera power was not coming ,I told to Mr Gajar my all function was working only side screen display have problem why power not coming,He told me left it I will see again and send to it at your given address.But He does not given response to me when I call to Mr Gajar always he told me I will check it and give information to you for collect it.I always call to Mr Gajar always he told me I will give response you after one hour but not given response any time ,again and again after calling Mr Gajar every two days at last on dated 5th January I went to gandhidham and receive camera but not working it again as previously, He Have My camera approx. one month but not solving problem but add problem n my camera all display was not coming also.When I told him about all things he misbehaves also I told him my camera power was coming but all function was not working told him at time of giving your service center It was checked by your man all function was working only side screen display was not coming it was written on chalan paper again he told me I can not do any thing but Mr Rajesh Bhai whose Mob no is written on paper I will collect and solve problem as soon as passible but not received it till now. I also call to sony service center costumer care but there response was that I can not do any thing against authorized service center only mail to him for give you response. At last I complained to you .Pl look in this matter and solve my problem how it can be. I am sending chalan paper attached also with it.

        i have taken sony vaio laptop from US which is of E series and i really say that it is the most worse laptop i have ever seen in my life.
        Sony is the most insulting company on the name of laptops i believe...
        no one should buy such cheap machine of Sony company and in 6 months my laptop was almost 2.5 months in the service center only..and now again its battery is not charging
        i really want it to roll under truck
        I to agree with it. even i have faced similar problem within 1 year span that i purchased the laptop. It went hrough battery problem then the spaekers went down and now they are asking me to chnage the entire motherboard when i am out of warranty.

          My Sony Ericsson hand set Model Name : C903, Work Number : SE10CDW10423, IMEI/Serial No. : [protected], Warranty Status : yes, Created on : Dec 23 2010 was sent for repair at Careon Dwarka, Plot No. 7, Shop No. 203, 2nd Floor, Vikas Surya Tower, Near Dominos Pizza, Sector 12, Dwarka, with problem reported : Navigation key / Joy stick dosen`t work, other key/Flip problem, phone slow start up. Problem Description : left joystick key problem, camera setting Default issue, slider opn &thn 0,8 auto work.
          The hand set was returned Un -Repaired on Feb 8 2011. It is pathetic that Sony Ericsson, such a brand name can be so irresponsible. Now I need your kind attention to sought out the problem. Please help me by repairing or Exchanging the hand set.

            Myself Santosh D.Kalase I have purchased Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Handset from Croma Mumbai on 10/09/2010 whose IMEI No-[protected] after purchasing this handset I am facing following problems
            1)I noticed that this handset automatically restarts two to three times in a day and while charging and once it starts restarting then we have to forcefully remove Battery then only it will stop otherwise it will not
            2)While talking front end person volume of that person is very very low
            For this problem I have visited four times in Authorized Sony Ericsson service centre but problem remains the same, for submitting and collecting handset every time I have taken half day leave,
            Lot of times I have called on Helpline number-[protected] and [protected] to register these complaints whose latest ref.Nos.are 89470306 and 89470965
            With this mail I am requesting Sony Ericsson please replace this handset I don’t want further repair because I have faced lot of problem with this handset.
            For your ready reference please find enclosed bill and warranty card
            Again I am requesting you I don’t want further repair please replace this handset with new one, today I will again submitting this handset to Sony Ericsson service centre F11 First floor Eternity Mall Thin hath Naka Thane (W[protected],[protected] as per ref no 89470965

              I Had purchased a Sony TV under a combo offer wherein @ Rs.1,19,905 i was to be delivered one sony HXX800 ED LED TV along with sony 3d kit, Sony BDP s470 ed BD Player, Sony Sound Bar and 8 free titles on BR discs.

              Thepurchase was done on 2nd October 2010 from Ezone Shipra mall, and the goods were delivered at my residence on 15th October 2010.

              However out of the promised 8 titles, I have still received only 2 titles and the remaining 6 tiltes are yet to be delivered.

              Need help and response - since the tAx Invoice given to me by Pantaloon Retails fro their Vikas Marg office has not contact details at all.

              I have the same issue. They have not sent me the sound bar.. and that too when the offer advertisement did not have "while supplies last. They are liable to send the sound bar to us or send us Rs 19900 which they claim is the price of the Sound Bar.

                I called up a service center in Andheri west (previously located in Sagar Tech Plaza) who claimed to be Sony authorized service centers for a complaint in my Trinitron TV. These people said they will send someone to check the complaint. They did send one guy who did not know anything, took my board and told me that he will call with the estimate for the repair. He called me up and said its 2500/-. My brother said its too much. Tell them to bring it back and keep it as is. These third class thieves took 200 rupees for keeping it back and then left. After 1 day I called my Local TV guy to take a look. Guess what? The thief's at Sony service center had given me someone else's board. I called them then and there and asked them to give me my board back. The Manager Hari Bhai (don't know why they call this fool Bhai) told me its my own board and that some transistors were misplaced. I told him I don't care and that I want my original board back. I kept on calling for three weeks, close to 250 calls, spent my money, time, showed these third class people courtesy and talked to them nicely. However, they did not even send one guy.

                He kept on giving A class excuses that the technician is admitted in the hospital and is unable to come to work. Now, its been 2 months, I am at a fix. I want to file a consumer court case against these crooks (I have better words in my mind against this kind of filthy people). The TV was worth 26,000 and now its just a piece of garbage.

                What kind of service does Sony provide? I used to vouch for Sony products, no more. You guys are also bigger thieves who employ this kind of filth to do service work. I will never buy anything from Sony again ever and anyone who reads this - understand one thing. Sony employs this kind of thieves because they themselves are bigger thieves. See you in court, Sony

                  I bought a Xperia X2 in may. I lost the stylus of my cell in july. I am following up with them since august 2010 and inspite of my repeated mails and visit to numerous service centres i am not able to get the stylus. This is really pathetic service from such a big company as they are not able to support handsets that are currently in production. If you guys are not able to support such high end mobiles then you should take them back and refund the money.

                    I purchased Sony Z100 5-CD changer Music System some time back from an authorized dealer. It was working perfectly alright but suddenly some problem cropped up and I gave it to a Sony authorized Service Center in Kolkata for its repair. However, the set was returned back to me saying that it is beyond repair. I simply wonder how this is possible. Sony authorized service center must have requisite parts for taking up necessary repairs, otherwise such costly sets will become a show-piece. The set was working perfectly alright and probably due to un-use for some time, the problem came. So, it may not be that some uncommon part has gone wrong. Please help.

                      I have purchased sony ericsson mobile from Deep radios Sadar Bazar Jhansi U.P on 19 July 2010. Two months ago I got problem with the keypad for which I submitted the mobile to Betwa mobile service center sadar bazar Jhansi. I got after 35 days, now keypad is ok but its camera is not working and slider is loose. Then I again submitted it, I got it next day but its camera is still not ok ( hanging), then I have to take out the battery to use it again, slider is still loose.

                      This is Ashutosh Khare again, this time I got my mobile checked by sony ericson service center Noida, where I am living right now. They told me that mobile contains local FLEX ( small cable inside the phone costs 900/-) and its LCD is shortining and need to be changed which costs 1700/-.

                      BETWA MOBILE cervice center in Jhansi has made my mobile a dump, now if I want to use the phone I have spend that much money which is not covered under warranty.

                      If you are in Jhansi and want to get service, plz don't go to Betwa Mobile, they just dump your phone.

                        I AM SOMIL SINGH.My Sony Ericsson W205 MOBILE does not support mp4 videos.
                        but in sony website it is written that it support mp4 videos ,so after going through sony website i purchased the phone,latter i found that actually it does not support mp4 videos and it was also confirmed by sony service centre.but.In their official website it is written that it supports mp4 format or videos.
                        I purchased the phone after going through sony website where it is written that w205 SUPPORTS MP4.But latter i found that it does not support the format.When i took my phone to THEIR service center they told me that this phone does not support the mp4 format hence they refused to service it.I called sony customer care
                        helpline from myphone where i did not got any satisfactory reply.Finally i email my problem to sony at their email address which is questions.[protected]@support.sonyericsson.com.And in their reply
                        they suggested that i should give my phone to service center and provide them, the work order number of my phone.Now after their email their service center accepted my phone for service on 6.1.2011 and in same day i emailed work orderMy workorder number i.e SE311CDW10014 to them as requested by them...But their service center insisted that this phone will not support mp4 so they wait for any response given to them directly from company,they did notice some other problems in the phone(which i did not mention)so they took note of them also.
                        I provided my work order number to sony at questions.[protected]@support.sonyericsson.com AS REQUESTED BY THEM IN THEIR REPLY TO MY EMAIL.Then reference no is given to me i.e ''caseIdTag".I even contracted THEIR service center a number of times from my phone [protected] but they keep insisting me please call some other day since their system is in progress. ON 15.01.2011 i called again to them i.e sony customer care where i was finally refused for any solution to my problem regarding support of mp4 format by my phone w205. sony help desk executive HEENA SPOKE TO me that day and finally refused that my phone w205 does not support mp4,it contradict WHAT is written in in their official sony website in http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/support/phones/detailed/mediaplayerts/w205?cc=gb... .When i asked her
                        to change my handset or refund my money back since i purchased this handset after going through sony website where it is clearly written that w205 supports mp4 format,she simply refused and told to me that she cant do anything and suggested that please take my handset back from service center and except mp4 issue all other issue will get solved.I called the service center [protected] for the progress ,they said me that my handset is in the progcess.NOW NOBODY IS READY TO HELP ME OUT.AND IN their SERVICE CENTER MY HANDSET IS STILL LYING.ONLY I HAVE IS TICKET NO WHICH IS ----X-Ticket: 89111695,TICKET[protected] given by sony customer care.
                        THEY DONT RESPOND TO MY EMAILS AND DON"T EVEN TELLS ME ANY DELIVERY DATE FOR MY HANDSET.
                        I HAVE FINALLY TOLD IN MY EMAIL TO SONY ON 15.1.2011 TO REPLY "in 15 days" OR I TAKE THEM TO CONSUMER COURT,BUT THEY HAVE NOT REPLYIED EVEN TODAY I.E 2.2.2011.AND MY HANDSET SILL LYING THEIR IN THEIR SERVICE CENTER MY My workorder number is SE311CDW10014

                          i had purchased a sony unwired walkman but this time its not working due to some problem actually this has 4 speaker in both side but 1 speaker of one side is not working.n the company is saying that it is non-repairable n it can be replace on 50% which is very costly.at the purchasing time the retailer did not tell me any type of thing.so please tell me another way to repair it or to exchange it.

                            Hi,

                            I purchased a Sony Bravia 32 inch LCD TV (KDL-32EX710) for Rs 50k from Bajaj Electronics Hyderabad on 26th Jan 2011 which was delivered on 27th Jan 2011 evening. The installation guy from Sony support couldn't turn on the TV for a good 1/2 hr after which it automatically started working. He also passingly mentioned that the TV looked like being a display piece used earlier by the dealer (Bajaj Electronics). Alas the TV was operational for a few hours only and stopped working. I raised a complaint on 29th Jan and no service technician has visited me till date even after making 5 calls and being assured that the technician will come. Sony claims to respond within 48 hrs but that is a Sham. What kind of customer support is being provided in this day and age?

                            Fault:
                            The red diagnostic light blinks twice which indicates that there is a short circuit in the board. I am surprised to know that basic checks are not done before a TV is circulated in the market. Or has a used piece been delivered to my house which would be shocking and not acceptable?

                            I want SONY India to respond immediately on the following
                            1. I want a service technician to visit my house immediately to diagnose the problem. The SLA of responding within 48 hrs has not been met by SONY.
                            2. If there is any fault with the TV I need a replacement or refund of my money. I don't want my TV to be repaired in 'ANY' Manner . I have dished out 50k for this and don't want a repaired piece starting from day ONE. Such pieces should not be circulated in the market.

                              I purchased a new Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro handset on 15-Jun-2010 from Sony Ericsson showroom whose address is JLK Enterprises, G-2 Padma Palace, 86 Nehru Place, New Delhi - 110019. My invoice number is 232, dated, 15-Jun-2010.

                              In the month of December, I found some issues with my handset. Issues are:
                              1. Ear speaker problem: I cannot hear the person's voice to whom I am talking to.
                              2. Loud speaker problem: My voice gets flickered and the other person cannot hear me properly.

                              So, I decided to get my mobile fixed by handing it over to Sony Ericsson's authorized service centre. I went to Sony Ericsson Service Centre at Nehru Place and they told me that "FLEX" component is not working properly, and it has to be replaced with a new one. And for that I have to wait for 7-10 days. Service Centre's address is Intarvo - Nehru Place, G-4,5,6, Chandra Bhawan, Bldg No. 6768, Nehru Place, New Delhi - 110019. Workorder number given to me was SE310INP11770, dated 20-Dec-2010. After 10 days, I went to service centre and they told that they haven't yet received the spare part, so I have to wait. And they told that I can check the status of my mobile at http://sein.servicetrack.in/. But everytime, it showed me that my handset is under repair.

                              On 29-Dec-2010, I made a complaint at Sony Ericsson's Customer Care (Ph:[protected]. I got a ticket number 89259551, dated 29-Dec-2010. The agent, Rahul told me that the spare part would be dispatched and call again on 03-Jan-2011 to know the updated status.

                              On 04-Jan-2011, I called up at Customer Care on 04-Jan-2011. This time I used Option 3 of IVR, i.e. Help Desk to track the status of ticket. The agent, Hena told me that I would get my handset on 11-Jan-2011.

                              I called up again at customer Care on 11-Jan-2011. The agent, Ilma told me that I would get my handset on 18-Jan-2011.

                              I called up again at customer care on 19-Jan-2011. The agent told me that I would get my handset on 25-Jan-2011.

                              I called up again on 25-Jan-2011. The agent, Hena told me that I would be given the status of my handset on the weekend.

                              On 27-Jan-2011, I called up again and agent Hena told me to call again on 01-Feb-2011. I told her that I already lost more than a month of warranty by submitting my handset at the Service Centre and asked if Sony Ericsson would extend one month warranty of my handset. She said "NO". I also told her that if the spare part is not available, then why don't you change my handset with a new one. She said that "IT IS NOT POSSIBLE".

                              I felt that I was being cheated by Sony Ericsson’s Customer Care and decided to take my handset back from the Service Centre. I went to Service Centre and asked them the status. They said that they haven’t received the spare part for my mobile.

                              I had a blind faith on SE and used to be a big fan of Sony. I recommended so many friends and colleagues for SE handsets. We have 3 handsets of SE in my family. I am having SE W810i since last 5 years and SE Vivaz Pro, my wife is having SE Z550i since last 4 years. And I was thinking to gift SE Zylo to my mother this January.

                              Now, I will never recommend anyone to buy SE phones. Now, my 3 yrs daughter is using my SE Vivaz Pro as one of her toys. It has become totally useless for me :(
                              Really they give worse service than u mentioned above.
                              i m still suffering since 5 months and my phone is still at service center.
                              i m still suffering since 15 days and my phone is still at service center.its bad to be a sony ericcson user reaally

                                    I bought a Sony Xperia x10 mini from univercell, T nagar branch. Only in the invoice i found that they are not bothered about after sales. So i had to pay for the mobile and get the new one. Within a month of its purchase, the screen went blank, though it was fully charged. The touch screen vibrated but no display, SIM not recognised. So i called up Univercell to find that they wont deal with this and so referred to a Sony Ericsson centre at T nagar. They booked a work order and had the phone with them and returned it after 3 days. They said it would not be replaced with a new one and that they have replaced the Board instead as it had problem..now again the problem has occurred and i have to go back to them again.
                                    Reallly the advt. for univercell are full of bluff...they attract the customers and once they sell it they literally kick them out....
                                    so my experience says that its better to get a mobile from a local dealer near ur residence..atleast he would answer politely for want of local business..i went from Neyveli to Chennai to buy this dummy stuff..The beauty in all this is i have even taken an insurance policy for this stuff.

                                    Sony Ericsson / Xperia X10 Mini — VERY VERY POOR SERVICE AND DELAY IN PROVIDING SERVICE

                                    I HAD PURCHASED SONY ERICSSON X10 MINI PRO FROM "MOBILE STORE" PERAMBUR, CHENNAI ON 14-04-11. A PROBLEM WITH TOUCH SCREEN OCCURED ON 05-11-11. SO GAVE IT FOR SERVICE AT AN AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTRE NAMED
                                    "UNITED MOBILE SERVICE" WHICH IS PAPER MILLS ROAD PERAMBUR CHENNAI. BUT AS ON DATE[protected] THERE IS NO PROPER RESPONSE FROM THEM AND ALL THEY SAY IS THAT THEY ARE WAITING FOR SPARES. THEY ARE PROVIDING A VERY POOR SERVICE. SO IF ANY BODY CHANCES TO VIEW THIS MESSAGE KINDLY AVOID GIVING YOUR PHONES FOR SERVICE THERE AND I REQUEST THE INDIAN CONSUMER COURT TO TAKE NECESSARY ACTION AGAINST THE SERVICE CENTER.

                                      This is to bring to your notice that the complaint # 7902 was lodged with your esteem organization on December 20, 2010. This was regarding the malfunction in the PSP bought from the Croma centre which is under extended warranty.

                                      Unfortunately, we have been following up on this for last one month and each time we make a call we are given a different answer or an assurance that some one would get back to us and give us an update. This never happens.

                                      About two weeks ago we received a call from the Sony Centre telling us that our PSP has been replaced with a new one and will be delivered to us within a week. However, we have not received it till date.

                                      We request you to kindly look into the matter and expedite the delivery of the same.
