Dear Sir/Madam,

I regret to inform you that, finally, u have not repaired my Sony Ericsson W810i handset even after taking 1 month of time at service centre and returned it without repair saying "Not repairable".
For this, I had already sent 7 reminders by email (attached for your reference) and regular telephonic followup, but very disappointed with most pathetic and disgusting service.

There was a problem in it's hardware, which results in bad battery performance. I want to just replaced/repaird this particular hardware. As there is no any problem in battery & charger. They have offer me expenses Rs.900, but even my acceptance for the same, finally they have not repaired the same.

How it can possible that the manufacturing company has shortage of spare parts.

I had purchased that mobile in Rs.15100 (Including SE MPS 60 speakers) + 2 GB Memory Card = Rs.1350 + Additional BST 37 Battery = Rs.1450, Bluetooth Device = Rs.2,000
= Grand total (approx.) = Rs.20,000.

This is the direct loss to me, because I can't use these all accessories in another handset. I will not prefer Sony Ericsson in future. I have suffered a lot by their after sales services.

For your information & necessary correction action at earliest.

Thanks a lot for your prompt reply. I have visited the Sony Ericsson Service Centre at Janakpuri & handed over the Sony Ericsson W810i handset vide Workorder No.SE310RJK13920 on dated 12th July, 2010. Moreover, please note that there is no problem in software, Battery BST-27 & Charger. Original Battery Serial No. is 056691CPLCLV 06W29, which was not mentioned in workourder.
However, the detail of the problem described as below in previous mail :-

Both the batteries (Original + New) are working well & battery back-up/efficiency is satisfactory with other sony ericsson handset. I have also updated the software using update service. So, it's sure that software is ok. Then, the only hardware, which may cause problem.


You are requested to kindly help me in this regard at earliest. I am suffering this problem very badly since 1 month. Either please send me the ACTIVE list of service centres in Delhi & Haryana. I have tried some centres listed at your website, but not responded OR tell me the solution to diagnose the problem. It will suitable me to contact the service centre, which is in western Delhi i.e. Paschim Vihar/Peeragarhi/Pitampura or in Bahdurgarh, Haryana.
Waiting for your corrective action for above workorder no. What is the status ? Please inform me the charges to repair the hardware.

i purchased a mobile T 715 from south ex-1. after three month it had jack problem, then i went to Sony care at Lajpatnagar, they told me all is well there is no problem . and after 4 month all switch and display problem has created . and i given my mobile to the Sony care at Lajpatnagar since last 10days they have no response. and Sony customer care executive are not interested to pick up my phone

Sony Ericsson — Battery Performance regarding standby time

Sir,
I purchased a sony ericsson xperia x10 mini on 19/4/20011 thro my husband's ICICI bank debit card payment.
I kept unused for the next couple of days due to my hectic tour shedule.
I then started using the same from 25th of april 2011.
From the very first day I was shocked by the battery performance as it got drained of a full charge with in 6-8hrs.
I continued this up to 17/5/2011 and handed over to the service centre for repair at accel-coimbatore with workorder no.Se311acb13673 with customer phone no as[protected] .
They then returned the same with software upgradation on 21/5/2011.
This when I brought home and started using for next two days and found that no improvement in the performance and hence again lodged for repair at the same service centre on 23/5/2011 with workorder no. Se311acb13820.
They returned my phone on 27/5/2011 with battery replaced as per their log sheet given to us.
But this time also the same problem continued with additional problems like frequently the camera auto on.
On continuation of the above said things it failed to get charge from 5/6/2011 on wards and hence I handed over to the same service centre for repair on 7/6/2011.
After repeated enquiry they said it has been sent to chennai for mother board replacement and finally returned it on 20/6/2011.
From then till now it works for a full charge of battery for about 8-10hrs even i[censored] talk for just half an hour and also even if you talk more like 1.5hrs it extends up to 6hrs.
But it is drastically different from the company's statement about the 285hrs of standby time for this model.
The company fools its customer limitlessly.
Pleas address the exploitation of sony ericsson xperia mini customers by the sony ericsson.
Also let us know if any complaint can be filed in the consumer court for breach of trust regarding the standby time given in their website for this model.
Dear Sir,
I've purchased Sony Ericsson Mobile Model NO : J 108 i on 10 feb 2011 at Visakhapatnam. The Mobile went out of order on 17 mar 2012 ( just 13 months after purchase without any mis handling of the Mobile)
The Sony Ericsson service centre at Visakhapatnam has checked and informed that the Mobile was irrepairable.
I request you to take necessary action to get my mobile in working condition at the earliest . I'm surprised how come Sony Ericsson mobiles
are so much under quality.I request you get my Mobile repaired / replaced and make me mentally peaceful.

I am here to inform you that I had bought a sony-Ericson XPERIA handset (XPERIA X10 mini pro having IMEI no.[protected] and S/N-CB511TM5BL ; Model no.-U20i Black) on 6th Aug 2011. Due to some dysfunction I gave it to Accel Care Center, Trans Technologies Solution at Guwahati on 5th March 2012 and collected the same on 25th April 2012. I could notice that the cellphone I received was not mine and the fault remained the same as earlier. So I again defer it to the same service centre on 26th April 2012. But till date I did not receive my handset. I approached to the service centre authority but due to some unknowing reason they are delaying the matter. I also had telephonic contect to the XPERIA support management several times yet I havn’t get any satisfactory response.

I purchased J105i sony erricson m0bile on 02/10/2010 and became faulty on during 2011 and repaired by service centre. Now again mobile is not functioning accordingly I approach with service centre at Sec-34-a, Chandigarh. But he replied me that spare parts of above mobile is not being supplied by company now. It could not be repaired by our service centre. I am so shocked, that how a reputed company service centre can deny to provide service to the customer because I have purchased a mobile set from a reputed coy.     In March 2010 I purchased a Sony 40" LCD TV for almost Rs 65K. This was within few days of its launch. In less than six months it started showing bad colors. It took Sony India more than 10 days to diagnose the problem and now they say that they will not replace but repair it. Even though the warranty terms are valid for repair but having bought the most expensive television set one does not buy these troubles. It is also a head racking experience to deal with a different person all the time within their organization, Why can't they give a new replacement and take back the old TV so that I have a hassle free experience of owning and enjoying it. I suppose it is no use spending a lot of money on this brand since once in for service you will also buy hard attitude, trouble and expensive spare parts in after warranty period (as I have read elsewhere on the net)

    s 500 i — motherboard failure

    Dear Sirs/Madam,

    I am a Sri Lankan I bought this mobile before 1year ago. after 6 months, suddenly it got stucked and repair guid said mother board have to be changed. one of my friend fetched this from dhoha and I am unable to claim warranty.

    Would you please state what are the remedies available for this matter? Or any place or way to buy a mother board. It was cost me Rs.20,000. and I am suffer.

    I totaly agree SONY in India is live only cause of its brand image it actaully had mustered once other wise the whole orgainsation structure here is to make fool of people.

    I am a similar sufferer.

    From being a strong supporter of this brand have turned into advising people around to never opt for it any more, their after sale services are pathetic.
    Had bought a LCD 32" in 2007 in the very first year of warranty it had to be sent to the service center at mathura road for problem and I got back the set after more then 1 week.

    Now last month again it has got similar problem for which I had logged in the complaint & the engineer was sent across at my Dwarka address, post checking he said he would get back with the estimate for repair.

    I got a call from him after few days late in the evening at 2000hrs & he sounded as if he was drunk and asked for 12, 000 Rs for repair claiming that the part has to brought in from Singapore. Towards which I requested to please send the LCD to service center and check if actually the problen stated by is there or not & also nothing else is wrong as it dose not make sense to spend 12, 000 Rs and again spend more over some other problem later if it exists. Rather its better I buy a new one instead.

    To which I was conveyed he'll get the LCD picked and would send across to service center for valid check up.

    But nothing happened for next one week, I again logged a complaint on 4th Aug'10 against complaint number 5731017 was conveyed the LCD would be picked in 24hrs again nothing happens, after that I have been continously calling the call center talking from one person to another without any person coming over or any call being over till date as on 27th Aug'10.

    Sony service have gone for toss for sure, I do not think I can ever recommend any one else to buy this product now though have been a stong supporter of this brand all my life.

    SONY/ LED TV — POOR SOUND QUALITY

    I purchased a lcd tv (SONY EX 300) last 5 mounth back but i am not satisfied with it's sound quality. it's sound is distorted. so kindly help me out.

    LCD 40 inch TV — Product not repaired and returned even after 15 days

    My LCD was taken for repair on 26th of August for the complaint of there being a red line on the screen going vertically down. It has been 15 days now it has still not being repaired. They say they do not have the part available with them. Less than one year old LCD firstly develop a problem like this and then Sony doesnot have the required part. Kindly look into this and facilitate a necessary action.The serial no. of complaint is 1200919. Customer name is Col.R. Bali, address 83, Pratap chowk, Delhi Cantt.
    I am a Sony loyalist whose recent experience has made myself to lose confidence in the brand ‘SONY’ and its product. I am having lot of Sony products with me LCD TV's, LED TV, VAIO LAPTOP, PS3, HOME THEATER SYSTEMS, DVD PLAYERS, DSLR CAMERA, DIGITAL CAMERA, High Defination HDD HANDYCAM, CAR DVD PLAYERS and many more. At last I come to the conclusion that Sony in India providing substandard products. Even the MD of Sony India did not listen to the custmer. It is much better to buy a cheeper product rather than Sony bcz one can buy two systems in a price of one.

    Sony Customer Care is pathetic. Customer Care Executive says, someone from Sony will call back, no body calls back. I wrote an email saying I'll file a case in Consumer Court, nobody cared to reply. When I ask Customer Care to transfer the call to a Manager, they say the Manager is not available. The franchisee service center "Shri Amba Services Pvt Ltd" looking into the complaint does not wants to give an estimated time when the TV will be returned. Its been almost a month now since I had registered a complaint. Even no standby TV has been provided.

    Sony / car stereo — product not repaired from long time

    Sir, my car stereo of sony was not working so i gave them to sony service centre in kanpur, but the product is not repaired yet, when i call they say you will get in a week but three months are passed and i still dont have it. everyone is making me wander.

    Yes, I am from bangalore. I recently brought a new sony LED television. The problem I am facing is in its picture quality. I thought, as I am paying a premiem price. I will get better quality amoung all other company. But, because of poor quality, sony gradually loosing its market.

    One of my friend brought samsung LED television recently, his picture and sound quality is much better. And more feature it is having.

    I think, now, it is time for sony, to analyze that it is not just SONY brand will hold them in the market. To servive in market either the have to increase there quality or cut down the prices. I asked the dealer to change the set, but they are very arogant. I have written complaint to company but no response as well from them.

    My experience is very horrible with SONY. SONY is not a brand any more. I ask people to not to buy SONY product any more, atleast SONY TELEVISION.

    Thank you Guys for your support and i was planning to buy a LCD TV from Sony after reading all the survey given by you about Sony.I am not interested in purchasing Sony products from now on.I am planning to go for a Samsung LCD instead of Sony.And Sony is also cheating the people by using EDGE LED in LCD.Which cost more and useless.So i agree with you guys and not interested to buy the Sony products.

    I’m Anand Misra. On 24 April 2010 I bought SONY BRAVIA LCD EX500 from Jumbo electronics, Noida. But now a day’s I’m facing some problems with my LCD. In Jan11 LCD power light has been changed. Now some “tric- tric” types of sound is coming in my LCD and sometimes when we change the channel “Tic” sound comes. I complained regarding this problem to customer care. They send their engineer. But as above I mentioned that the sound not comes frequently. So when engineer visited outhouse that sound doesn’t occurs at that time. So the problem is as it is.
    On Friday I had a call from your executive Mr. Sarbjeet. And he asked some questions about the technical problem of my LCD. After asking about the problem he said he would call back to me after an hour. But till now I didn’t have any call from his side. On Monday when I call again to customer care they said they connect me with Mr. Sarbjeet on the same day. But until now, still I’m waiting for his call. So, today again I call in customer care and the feedback was very awful from their side and I’m not satisfied with your responses till the date. Now tell me what is my fault? I think this is the biggest fault of mine to by SONY LCD, Isn’t it?
    I had bought this LCD just b’coz of its brand name and if such reputed brand giving me this type of problem then to whom I can trust? My LCD has been opened while in warranty period, which was very unpleasant experience for me. Now I just don’t want to open it again. I just want to replace my LCD with new one as soon as possible or I want my money back, which is the last option you left for me.

    I was a brand SONY loyalist & that made me buy a brand new SONY BRAVIA LCD - KLV40NX500 on 29 Jan 2011 for a whopping Rs 60, 000 in New Delhi.

    Having grown up in a generation where TVs worked flawlessly for 10-15 yrs, I was just SHOCKED to see the LCD fail in just a matter of 4 months. Yes.. a brand new Sony LCD started to have numerous horizontal and vertical lines with distorted display. The problem became worse & right now the display is totally blurred.

    I made a complaint ( No[protected] on 7th July 2011 & the service centre technician visited me today. He took pictures & told me it is most probably the LCD panel issue, and the panel will need to be replaced once Sony India approves of it.

    Now my anger and frustation is that how come a brand new LCD that too from the so called premium brand like SONY fail in just 5 months ??? Dont they do any quality checks or what ?

    I dont know which way to go next as even though the product is still under warranty, I really dont want to get the LCD repaired.. common its my hard earned moneywhich I had paid to have a trouble free entertainment. And what is the guarantee that the new LCD panel will not fail ?

    Sony should replace my LCD with a new one. Can anyone share me Sony's contact numbers or email ids where I can follow this case up. ( But honestly, after reading all the above comments, I have lost faith with them & have prepared myself for the tough road ahead.)

    Just wanted to update on my complaint stated above for the benefit of future customers..

    The summary of the whole story is :

    After inspecting the LCD, I got a call from Sony India & he told me that the LCD needs to be taken to a service centre & its a panel issue. I asked the person as t why the LCD failed & he calmly said that its an electronic thing & we cannot pin point the exact reason - voltage spikes or something. I was adamant to get the LCD replaced, but the guy simply refused to do that. I found him quite rude at this stage. I kept on pressing him but he didnt budge at all. After this i was finally fed up & I agreed o get my panel replaced. But then came another shocker.. there will not be any new warranty on the new part installed. !! I was just surprised. I said its quite obvious that any new part should have an extended warranty of atleast one year. To this Sony technician replied, that the warranty will not be extended it will remain the same .. ie one year from the date of purchase of the LCD.

    I totally lost my cool after this. I told him its unethical on part of Sony to do this. But that guy became rude & had a "total not interested attitude". His replies were full of even more sarcasm. "You have used the LCD for 4 months ", "its not a company policy to extend warranty" .."its a n electronic part .. any electronic part can fail ", "i will not give you any numbers or email ids" etc etc. I simply asked him to give me his boss's number or email id, to which he simply refused. Finally I kept the phone down saying .." i dont want to get the LCD repaired".

    That evening was really tense one for me. In front of my eyes were my hard earned money gone down the drain ... and i just cudnt believe that Sony India could be so ignorant to a customer. I had so high regards for Sony and its products !! Then i just googled the email id of Sony MD & sent a mail describing all that had happened.

    The next day, another person from Sony called me up. He was very polite and courteous. The next 3 days just saw a different level of customer service experience. They extended the warranty & took the LCD & and returned back in flat 2 days time. During this, they kept me informed on the progress. and kept calling me almost twice a day. I was impressed. My faith was regained. Also eventually, it was found at the service center that the panel was perfectly okay & it was a motherboard that had gone faulty. They changed it & rite now the LCD is back with me & is working perfectly fine.

    I have also received a letter from Sony India on the extended warranty of the faulty part.

    Right now I am happy, but i just pray that Sony India gives this level of customer service to every customer . They should not have been so unrealistic & ignorant to a customer's shock & despair. Nevertheless, I am happy to see things mended by Sony. I like SONY products & hope to remain like that.

    I bought Sony LCD tv Sr. no.2377469 model 40NX500 from sony center rohini on 02/02/2011 in Rs 57900.Now after 15 months only there are colour patches in the screen.What is brand means? Why I purchase sony & spend more? However I made a complaint (no. 9925069) on 21/04/2012. 4 days go but no engineer visit us.Is it the after sale service of SONY brand.I think it is an experience which is known to peoples who think to buy LCD in future.

    We purchased Sony Brevia 46 inch led TV and in few months defect in penal was observed. The service centre people came about 12 days back and took the TV for replacement of the penal. The company refused to replace the TV even if the penal itself is the main part of TV (what else the led TV has except for the frame) . The service centre and customer care people of Sony are so discourteous that they do not even respond to my calls and even do not want to inform as to when i will get back my TV. Its really shameful for a Japanese Co who professes high degree of customer care.
    For the knowledge of all I wish to inform a similar story of my wows with Sony products. A sound system purchased from them did not work despite visiting their service centre several times during the entire warranty period and afterwards they refused to repair free of charges as the warranty period was over. I had to approach to Hon'ble. Consumer court and then only the Sony people replaced my defective set with a brand new one even after expiry of warranty period.

    I am a loyal customer of Sony .I purchase a 32" LCD TV in June 2009 from a Chennai dealer.The LCD panel was defective in February, 2011 and was replaced. In April 2013, i complained of double images and snowy pictures.The Sony Technician has said the display panel and an IC have to be changed- the estimated cost Rs12000/-Virtually all the major components have failed in about 3 1/2 years.I have been sold either a defective set or even a reconditioned one.The Sony response appallingly poor.I feel cheated and have lost faith in Sony Products and service.

      I purchased Sony Viao E Series Laptop, Model No. PCG71311W , Serial No. 7001442, from Croma Malad (Invoice No.[protected] on 29th May,2010 with 3 years extended warrenty.

      Soon after I bought my laptop in the month of June on 15th June,2010 it started giving me trouble. The machine refused to switch on.

      I took the laptop to Croma Store but they asked me to take it to Sony Service Center in Saki Naka, Mumbai.

      I took my one month old Laptop to Sakinaka and showed them the piece. They informed me that there is a problem with the internal battery, however after 30 minutes they switched on the machine and gave me my laptop back.

      Just two days later, again the laptop refused to switch on. I had to take it back to Sony Service center yet again and they took my machine. I was informed that they will replace the mother board of the laptop.
      I was extremely surprised by the fact that within a month of purchase of a priced piece like a Sony Viao laptop the mother board is getting changed.

      After 8 days they returned my laptop back to me with the changed motherboard. Though the laptop was now switching on it had become very slow and also I was not able to open MS office anymore.
      Again now on 15th August,2010 the laptop has crashed.

      I called up the Sony Toll free line and they have asked me to take the laptop again to Saki Naka. I am thoroughly disgusted with the quality of service and the product itself.

      When my laptop is within the Manufacturing guarantee period, why am I not given a free replacement. What is the guarantee that again after repairing the same problem will not arise again as it has the last two times?

      I need justice. I am tired of driving all the way back to Saki Naka everytime with my faulty new Laptop. It is a waste of my working hours as the Service center does not opearate on Sunday and also of my money and time besides the data stuck in my laptop also is a loss of work and add the mental tension.

      I request the Sony Authorities to please replace my Laptop and give me a fresh piece.

      I hope this consumer complaint will be addressed.

I am facing similar issues and Sony is not even bothering to call me back despite numerous calls and compliants I have made via customer care as well as emails. I deeply regret buying this brand and wish I can stuck to my HP or bought a Dell instead. Such a waste of my hard earned money :-(

          This is Johnson from Chennai crying with your sonyericsson C510 Mobile, You know I bought this mobile on Jun 27 2009 and it was pleasant and lovely to use the slick and stylish C510 but that was only for few months, I was having a problem with my handset about not being charged properly and I need to hold the adaptor connector into the handset for some time in order to power it up since there was some fault on the board so I gave the handset for service on 25 Nov 2009 ( Work order # SE309AGR17611) and got the board replaced within a few days and days passed and within a year I had the same problem with my C510 and again I gave the handset for service on 19 Jun 2010 ( Work order # SE310AGR21369)…What a surprise another board was replaced in my handset for the same problem....
          I called their customer service right next day when I got my mobile back from service and reported the problem as the warranty of my handset got expired and they said they can’t help in any ways…what I asked is to extend the warranty for the handset as I got the board replaced within a year. But they said No...No...No… At max they can provide me a 15 Days service warranty and if the same problem reports again they can do something…No wonders the same problem occurred again after 20days…But what to do I BOUGHT A SONYERICSSION..Now Iam using a Nokia N73 which I bought 2Yrs ago with No problems till now….And this is to let you know people we are using a Samsung S3310 which I bought the same day with my useless sonyericssion and till now there is no problems and we have other nokia handsets at home which is 3 to 4 years old with no problems…
          From this time I will never ever buy a sonyericssion product for me or my family and friends…For Sure…Thanks for providing such a good customer service and giving me a Great worthless product call SONYERICSSION C510…………….Bye….

              Here i am tharanipathi from tirupur working as project analyst and developer in Probeseven.
              Before 20 days i bought a SONY VAIO (VPCEB24EN) laptop, but now this week i got some hardware problems in the lap, but even though i gave my laptop for servicing to near service center in tirupur -KG Electronics.But from their side also iam not getting proper response till now, they are not saying proper delivery period and not inform me proper causes for the problem.Because of this problem in lap i lost 100 GB data.

              From the above issues i am getting dissatisfaction on SONY Quality itself.
              Due to this issues i cant move with my official works also by using laptop,my works are also getting hanged.

              i need replacement because i am unsatisfied with that product, so i have doubt in quality and service factors of sony, So do the needful as soon as possible.

              Also think about my value of time and money.

              with in 20 days problem arise and hard disk fails means think about its performance after 1 year? How could i belive this product and store my secured data.

              I am invested more than 40000 INR in this.

                Sub:- Complaint regarding Sony Ericson cell phone handset and about worst service approach of authorized service center Gulbarga Karnataka –India. (Battery is also damaged)

                I purchased one (1) PC Sony Ericsson bearing model no. Z555i (IMEI no.[protected] from M/S GLOBAL TOUCH Mobile Handset sales and service GAMPA Complex Super Market Gulbarga-1 Karnataka – India for Rs 5900/- ( invoice no. 9887) . After using it for some time, the camera system stopped working and also battery damaged. I complained the same to the authorized service center of Sony Ericsson ( SANIKA ENTERPRISES Sony Ericsson Service center Fort road Gulbarga-1 Karnataka – India ) and deposited my handset Vide complaint No.220 dated[protected]. They informed me to collect handset tomorrow by 6p.m. Next day I phoned to the concerned person but he told me that still handset is not checked, and it will take another two days. After few days again I phoned to the concerned person, but he told me that handset is checked, strip has gone, that’s why camera system is not working. Approximately repair charge will be Rs 750/-. Thereafter I paid several visits to the service center followed by phone calls but there is no response. It is almost 45 days passed, still my handset is with service center. To the most disgust, he is saying a stereotyped answer that “ we can’t say anything about early repair, as we are not getting spare part strip from the company. Being a employee and President of the Multinational company Alstom Projects India LTD facing a tremendous hardship due to such practice of the authorized service center. I seek your kind intervention to get me repaired at no cost or replacement and the compensation for the delay and strict action against the authorized service center M/S SANIKA ENTERPRISES Sony Ericsson service center, so as to curb such unjustified and uncalled act of manufactures and service providers. Please replace new product with battery.

                Since I can’t afford to buy a new phone, now I am without phone, and facing so many problems. Somehow I am managing the situation with the help of friends cell phone, but it is embracing to me. As I am in service and trade union activities, that to in a multination company, cell phone is essential. Due to service center bad approach, I have been incurring heavy monetary moral loss, as they could not contact me over cell phone in time. Moreover, other problems are I have to visit the authorized service center during the office hours, as result first I have to apply leave in my company, then spend some money for To and fro charges. Above all I have to postpone my prior appointments with connected persons and officials. Please note that under the consumer act any product found defect within two years from the purchase can be approached consumer court for replacement and compensation. I have purchased Sony Ericsson cell phone with the hope of quality and durability. Now I feel my hopes and trust on Sony Ericsson is wrong, and totally I am upset with product and service. I request you to take necessary action regarding above cited matter immediately, otherwise I constrained to initiate legal action against the Sony Ericsson.

                Sony Ericsson — Cell not getting charged

                I purchased this cell 9 months back. Now it has started giving all sorts of problem. Cell not getting charged. Only Red light gets on continously.I can listen to others but no one can here my voice.Camera not working. After replacing battery cell shows it is getting charged, but actually it doesnot get charged. I have gone to this service center for 7 days in last 10 days and tired as of now

                  Recently I bought u5i (Vivaz) in April 2010 & it started giving some charging problems in June 2010. On July 3rd 2010 I took it to the Authorised service centre in Thane (Ccom Service, F11, First Floor, Eternity Mall, Thane West 400602) & submitted it for repair. The Person was trying to prove that it is physically damaged to avoid warranty claim & wrote Scratches found on body. When I asked him where he can see the scratches he was speechless. I asked him to remove the remarks which he cut on the receipt & signed. They told me that it will take around a week to get it repaired but even after one month there was no information of the phone. I had to buy a new phone because of this long wait.
                  Today I got a call from Ccom Service, Thane that they have received the phone back but without repair. When I asked why, they didn’t have any answer. I called up Customer care centre of Sony Ericsson & asked the same question but they also have no clue.
                  I have written mails to customer service centre & also to their Service Head Mr. Sanjeev Saxena but didn't get reply from any of them.

                  Please help.
                  Finally on Saturday, 28th August, Sony Ericsson team has replaced the faulty handset with the new one.

                  I would like to thank Sony Ericsson team for that also urge them to improve the service level such that this situation is not created with anybady else in future.

                      I have given my bluetooth headset of Sony Ericsson MW600 for replacement on 14 july 2010. the service center that is waiting for the replacement is in baroda. i have called many number of time to the customer care of Sony Ericsson, and they have always been saying that it i will get the replacement headset in 2 weeks time. now its a month since i am waiting for the replacement to arrive. CAN I ASK WHY IS IT TAKING SUCH A LONG TIME TO JUST REPLACE A BLUETOOTH HEADSET & IF THE COMPANY IS NOT HAVING A REPLACEMENT PIECE THEN I SUGGEST THEM TO RETURN MY MONEY BACK ASAP!!!!

                        I had purchased Sony cybershot DSC- T100 camera. recently it showed a problem of vibrating at certain angle. when I took it to authorized service centre they told that it can not be accepted under warranty, since the serial number faded due to use. but the sticker, which is of very ordinary quality is provided at such a place where it is liable to fade, since our finger always touches the sticker. The serial number should be available inside also. so it is just one of company's trick to avoid warrenty.. please help..

                          I have a SONY DIGITAL CAMERA, Model No. DSC – 500. So far, its performance has been very good
                          Recently, its BATTERY DOOR LOCK was broken. Hence I gave it to PREET SERVICE & CARE, 104 A/332, 80 Feet Road, Ram Bagh, KANPUR, UP-208012, (Authorised SONY Service centre) for providing new door lock. Additionally, I asked M/s PREET to kindly SERVICE the CAMERA.
                          Now, I have been informed by M/s PREET that CAMERA is defective and it will require another 5000/= to get it repaired. My CAMERA was fully functional when I gave it to M/s PREET.
                          I request you to get my CAMERA back in working condition. I am ready to give service charge and charges for cover.

                          Sony — Digital Camera DSC 500 - Service

                          The LCD outer panel for my Sony Digital Camera (DSC 500) had a small crack. So I went to their service centre on Mission Road, Bangalore to get it repaired. I just wanted the LCD outer glass panel to be replaced. The camera has no other problems at all. However, the service engineer after checking the model informed that it would cost me a whopping Rs.3700/- for repairing the outer LCD screen because they have to replace the entire back panel of the camera!! (You can get a new Sony camera for around 8500/….. that too the latest model!!).

                          It is rather funny that they do not have a spare part only for the outer glass panel of the LCD screen. So if anything is wrong with any of the small parts, even if it is a small scratch, they will replace the entire back panel so that they can generate higher service charges/ fees. I just came back without repairing the camera because of the high price.

                          I think this is a way of discouraging customers to repair any product of Sony’s and force them to buy their new products. Due to the falling prices of electronic goods, the latest model comes at a cheaper price than the old one while we cannot repair old models because of the exorbitant service charges. Highly deplorable attitude of a company the stature of Sony.

                          Sony Digital Camera — Not working

                          When Batteries are installed and left they are getting drained.
                          Afterinstallation of batteries if you take some snaps batteries getting drained. If indicated any Bangalore Centre for this repair it will be much helpful for me. Thanks.

                          Sony Digital Camera — Non receipt of original bill and cancelled cheque

                          I have purchased a Sony Digital Camera through Bajaj Finance on 29/10/2008 (Bill no 492). I have paid all EMI's and I got the no due certificate from Bajaj Finance on request on 11/08/09. But, the original bill for the camera and the cancelled bank cheque are not returned to me. Please get me these things at the earliest.

                            Sony — defective laptop

                            Sony/Vaio Laptop — Defective Laptop

                            This is to bring to your kind attention the problems we've been facing since we bought Sony Vaio Notebook, model no. - VPCYA17GG on May 15th 2011 from Pitampura centre - Emart.

                            1) - The battery back up time suggested by Emart was 4.5 hrs but on full battery, it shows only 2.5 hrs. Even after changing the settings, it shows only 2.5 So, I want to clarify what is exactly the battery back up time?

                            2) - After using it for nearly a month or so, we noticed some scratches on the middle top of the keypad. We enquired this with Tilak Nagar centre - Challenger Computers and the manager there suggested that this seems to be a manufacturing defect. There have been prior complaints also for the same model and for one customer he even got the set changed but still scratches appeared again in the new one. If this is a manufacturing defect, how come these models are sold all across Delhi? I seek explanation for this from Sony.

                            3) - Few weeks before, one fine day, system stopped recognizing the Internet Data card. We kept trying, called customer care for Internet service provider, called Sony service centre for almost 4-5 days but no one could really recognize the actual problem. Then we decided to go to the nearest service centre in Tilak nagar.
                            I am not really sure if the technician there understood the real problem but decided to format the disk (usually this is the last and easiest resort for technical people).
                            We collected the system the next day. Though the system started recognizing the data card but it contained lot of other problems like - a) Windows updates will start anytime on their own and system will restart itself leaving us helpless in the middle of something important
                            b) The system is much slower after the format. c) Original MS office wasn't installed at the time of format. As a result, we're not able to use it.

                            We called Sony Service centre but unfortunately even they weren't of much help and suggested us to visit the nearest service centre again.

                            My concern is - Has Sony started manufacturing and supplying defective products in the Indian Market? If not, are retail centres good at fooling buyers and selling defective/refurbished products?

                            I seek justification for my problems above. It's been just 2.5 months and I've faced so many issues for a product for which I've paid my hard earned real money.

                            I want this product to be replaced with a brand new one (not the refurbished/defective one hopefully!). If my problems are not addressed asap, I'll not hesitate to go to media or consumer court. This is sheer harassment on the part of company/retail centre and I want justice.

                              Dear all @ Sony Service Centre,

                              I bought a Sony Erricson handset model J20i just two month before, it was worked fine for first month only, after one month suddenly the handset's screen got disappeared & turned into black. I never expected this problem will occurred with Sony within just one month anyhow with the bitter bite i visited your authorize service center located at Lajapt Nagar, Delhi. First the receptionist advised me the problem is due to internal software issue whereas later on they found this is because of an internal part got damaged & it would take time to receive the part from HO that time the whole activity took more than 10 days to resolved it & get my handset back. This was the first incident when the problem was occurred & phone starts working fine again but the honeymoon of my phone was only for one month, the same problem occurred once again on 24th July'10, I visited your authorize service center named "Neeru Enterprises, Sec 16, KFC Basement, Noida" on 26th July & submit my handset later on i received the call from service center on 26th July itself that the handset got repaired can be collected on 28th July as its weekly off on 27th July. I visit the service center again on 28th July, i got my handset back whereas it worked just for one hours & got dead same time. The very same hours i again visit to service center back foot where they checked it again & found the handset is dead as the some internal part got damaged & would take another 10 days to get it repaired as they would received it from Head Office after 10 days only.

                              I'm using other cell phones also but this is really bad service where it taking 10 days to receive a small cell phone part in this super fast world. This is my humble request to all of you to take this matter on top most priority & get my handset repaired with next 2 days as I need to go to outstation. I cannot wait further, requesting you to resolve the issue before i escalate it to consumer court. Due to non availability of my handset, i am missing many important calls, resulting financial loss on me.

                              Sony Ericsson — Phone not working completely after receiving the handset from sony erricson service center.

                              I have submitted my sony erricson c510i mobile phone in sony erricson service centre Gatkopar, for the mic problem of the set ( work order number - SE310CS211678). I have received my mobile back after hell lots of follow ups, after almost 2 months. On the same day, after two hours, the mobile got switched off with out doing anything. Now it is not working at all, even after charging the set. I had paid the service and repair amount for the same. Please do the needful

                              I had given my set for repair in Sony ericsson service centre KOLKATA-RIPON STREET. for some speaker problem. My phone was completely in good working condition, till then .
                              They said i will need to change some of its parts which will cost me Rs.6000, since it was out of warranty. I did not want to spend so much of cash. I got it back after a week, and realised tht it was DEAD ! It didnot even Switch On !!!
                              I was quite baffled. i gave it back to them stating my problem. They said it is a common problem and they will look into it.They gave me a manual reciept the second time. They said that would be sufficient.
                              I didnot get any NEWS from them after that for days together. I went and enquired in person but they kept saying that it will take another week each time. I asked for the managers no. Thay gave me the phone no. of a SUSHMITA BARAL. who is apparently the managing head of Sony Ericsson service in kolkata. She too said that she would look into the issue and didnot reply for weeks.
                              I called her again on 28th March 2011. She said that they are incapable of repairing it.
                              I told her that my phone was completely fine before i gave it to the service centre. She said " Costumers give us their phone at their own risk and anything can happen to their phone and we cannot help that.", In exactly these words.
                              I was stunned again. I told her tht why did you not tell me all this when i gave you the phone for the first time? She said that might be ' the service centre's Mistake' !!
                              I asked her to replace my phone or find a solution . She said she cannot replace it and suggested to go to Consumer Court.
                              Later on the same day when i went to retrieve my phone i asked her to give me an acknowledgement letter. she said she cannot write a letter. when i wrote a letter and asked her to sign, she refused.
                              Apart from that she also confiscated the reciet which said tht my phone was in dead condition after i recieved it from them. she refused to provide it when i asked for it.
                              Is this what we expect from SONY ERICSSON ???

                                Sony products in India are cheaper than chinese products made by under paid, under aged and Mal nutritioned Chinese kids.
                                Wish I was aware of the quality of goods they were manufacturing and selling in India.
                                I gave into the quality of products that they sell in the US and always buy Sony products in the US.

                                Below is a email sent by my sister regarding the issue and there has been no response from Sony.
                                The service center says that, we have to spend Rs. 11,000 on a part which is not under warantee, which means, if that blows up, get another one, so guys at Sony can sit on their fat and mint money..
                                "I Want my Money Back."

                                P.S copy of email sent to Sony and also attached copy of Invoice.
                                "This is in regard with the complain no - SSZM5430 which we have placed against the problem found in our LCD TV - Sony Bravia KLV 32S 400A which was purchased on January last year. When the service men from Sony checked our TV, they said that there is some problem with the panel and it is a manufacturing defect. The cost of replacing the panel is almost 90% of the cost of the TV. Furthermore there wont be any guarantee of the replaced panel.

                                We really would like to know if this is the quality of product manufactured now-a-days by Sony India. We feel cheated by paying 40,000 Rs for such a junk box. Please replace the defective panel at the earliest since it is a manufacturing defect and of no mistake of ours."

I have purchase Sony Bravia KLV40V200A worth Rs. 1 Lac 65 Thousand 3 years before few days before there is a Problem in the Screen A GREEN COLOR LINE i complaint against this issue to your Customer Care TOLL FREE number, they note down my complaint & tell me one of our service center will call you and fix a time to check the things and i receive a Call from Ghaziabad Sony Service Center person ANIL he's a Engineer over there. I know this person already coz i also have Sony Bravia Home theater DVZ 777 and this person come for the services of my Home theater before, he change the LENS of my home theater and i got problem again after a month. after that i call this person so many time but he never come back. i got frustrated and i sell off my home theater in just Rs. 8000/-. This time when he call me for my LCD TV complaint 1st he said why you locked the complaint you personally call me i can check what's the problem. i reply why i call you i have to complaint sony 1st. he said ok. Then he ask me what is the problem in your LCD TV i said i got a GREEN LINE left side of the screen. he reply me this problem can't solve you do one thing use this TV as much as you can and after that though it i said very good thank you very much.

                                  Now any one can tell me when a Middle Class person going to buy a TV like Sony one with his hard earn money and the thing which he purchase is dead after 3 years what he will do.

                                  Is Sony Making 3rd Class Product this days. if yes i suggested every one never buy Sony Product in his life.
                                  I know how i buy this LCD worth Rs. 1 Lac 65 Thousand its not to easy for me but i buy and this time it's just a show piece in my wall nothing else.

                                    I am sick of Sony mobile and its people. Neither they are committed to provide its customers and good custmer service nor they are ready to provide service after sale.

                                    My T715 phone has gone out of order twice within two months with all its accessories. 1st time they repaired my phone but now again the same problem occured. When I took it to the service center NEERU ENTERPRISES, KFC BASEMENT, P21, SECTOR 18 NOIDA PH. NO.[protected], where I met with Mr. Anand he just told me that this phone has gone out of order as the ink on this phone got into phone PCB. Just to let you know that this ink mark was also there when I got it repired 1st time. Now my question is this when this phone is malefunctioning due to ink then why they did not tell me last time? They are just making me fool only.

                                    I want to get his phone replaced, how can I pay the money for nothing. company is commited to provide service after sale for no cost till 1 year.

                                      This is to inform you that I bought a Sony Ericcson W705 of Rs. 17,675/- ON 9th Aug’2009 from Alfa (Vile Parle, Mumbai) IMEI No. was [protected] on the date of purchase.

                                      My Phone started giving trouble on 8th Nov’09, the problem being “No Network”. I submitted my phone at the sony ericsson service centre in Mobiletech, Tardeo, Mumbai on 10th Nov’09. My workorder No. was SE309MT211413. I was told to inquire after two-three days and when I inquired after three days I was told that the handset will have to be sent to Chennai. During this period the staff at Mobiletech did not even bother to inform me of the status, neither was I given a standby handset. I am a working woman and only thing I was doing during my office hours was keep calling service centre. Either the call was not picked-up or after great efforts if they picked-up, I never got a satisfactory answer.

                                      I got my handset back on 21st Nov’09 (after 12 days wherein I had to do without a mobile). The problem was not solved as yet. I was told at your service centre that the motherboard has been changed and so was my IMEI No. which is changed to [protected]. As soon as I came to office I realized my handset was not charging. After charging for three hours also it was showing 0%. Once again, on 23rd Nov’09 (Workorder No. SE309MT211623), I went to your service centre and I was told that there is a problem in the battery, they replaced the connector and gave me back on 27th Nov’09 (Workorder No. SE309MT211689). When I came back home I could not charge it and so gave it back on the same day and after follow-up 1000 times with these sony ericsson useless people I got my handset after 1 Month (on 24th De’09)

                                      Now Again after 6 Months on 5th Jul’10 my handset started giving problem, so I submitted my handset on 6th Jul’10 at Sony Ericsson Service Centre, Mumbai Contact No.[protected]. Workorder No. SE310MT211882, Model No.W705, IMEI Number: [protected], Problem I was facing is: Navigation keypad not working.

                                      I have been calling Mr. Mahendra Tomar (Contact No.[protected]) for the status, but till date that is after 1 Month also they are replying that the company is not having the required part available with them and they are also not sure when that part will be available. Also my hanset warranty is getting over on 9th Aug’10. I cannot wait for any more days. Please help me out to solve my problem.

                                      I had bought this handset keeping in mind “SONY” the brand name. Not even in my wildest dreams had I thought Sony to give a problem. It was not only the handset but also lack of cooperation and lethargic delay by your service centre staff. I am totally disgusted with this kind of delay from “SONY” which holds its name for quality and service. But the kind of after sales service I got I would never ever recommend Sony to anyone. I had to rush around putting my job at stake as there was no communication from service centre staff. I was under the impression that Sony serves customer as God but I was absolutely under a wrong impression. If they take months to just mend a single handset, it raises a question on to their capability.

                                      I am so fed up with running around after which also my problem is not solved, I am repenting buying this phone and I would like to have a replacement for this mobile or my money back.

                                      Please help me as i want the replacement or my money back.

                                      Sony Ericsson — hand set replacement

                                      I bought a Sony Ericsson K810i cellphone dated 16.7.07
                                      After a few months its headset started having some problems.As it was under the warranty period i gave it to the sony ericsson service centre at Tirupur-Tamilnadu, for service in key pad and got repaired. After few months again the same problem arises and i cannot dial any number from mobile. Now I approached the service centre at tirupur and coimbatore region, getting a feedback that the new key pad is not available and it will take 15-20 days for service. I forced for replacement and they rejected my request, the warranty period is expiring in another one month.
                                      i have a complaint against your show room service in "salora international limited" chitoor road ernakulam. they are providing poor service to there costumers. i had visit there for the complaint of my "Head set". But they told me it will take 2 weeks time. but another said to me it will take only seven working days. and the previous sevice center named"salora international limited" told me to they need 2 photo copy of my bill. its too pathetic. my hand set purchase at 26/09/2008. from R.P.G cell U com. at m.g road ernakulam. this is very poor.. my contact no is.[protected]

When I came back home I could not charge it and so gave it back on the same day.

                                      I have been informed that they will send the handset to the regional office, but till date I am not aware of the status as no one has tried to contact me.

                                      I had bought this handset keeping in mind “SONY” the brand name. Not even in my wildest dreams had I thought Sony to give a problem. It was not only the handset but also lack of cooperation and lethargic delay by your service centre staff. I am totally disgusted with this kind of delay from “SONY” which holds its name for quality and service. But the kind of after sales service I got I would never ever recommend Sony to anyone. I had to rush around putting my job at stake as there was no communication from service centre staff. I was under the impression that Sony serves customer as God but I was absolutely under a wrong impression. If they take months to just mend a single handset, it raises a question on to their capability.

                                      I am so fed up with running around after which also my problem is not solved, I am repenting buying this phone and I would like to have a replacement for this mobile or my money back.

                                      Please help me as i want the replacement for the same.

                                      Sony Ericsson — Handset Replacement

                                      I purchased a Sony Ericsson handset from a local dealer in panjim on 22/7/2011 the very next day the handset started giving problem(display hung) so i went back to the dealer who formatted the handset and gave me saying it will work, but i continued to face the same problem,so i was told to go to the service center.
                                      I took the handset to the service center on 24/8/2011 it was returned to me on 26/8/2011 with a remark saying H-H FPC replaced,S/W upgrade handset working fine. It worked for a day and went Blank,
                                      So i took the handset to the dealer asking for a replacement who said he will ask the the company to do the needful and gave the handset to the service center on 30/8/2011 which was given back on the 07/9/2011 to the dealer which was given to me on 15/9/2011. It worked for a day or two and display hung i
                                      I again took the handset to the service center asking for a replacement since its handset has hardly worked for 10/15 days they says that it cannot be replaced as they have already replaced some parts.
                                      Kindly do the Needful
