I had given my Sony Ericsson handset W890i for repair to the Sony Ericsson authorized service center in Sec-18. Initially it had the problem that the charging point and the handsfree point(common in Sony phones) was working intermittently. The service center registered my case and gave me a job sheet (Work order no. SE[protected]). I got my cell back after 2 days on July 14th. I did not have my handsfree at that time to test, but the phone was charging fine.
Immediately after 2 days, it started giving further problems where the headset sign was showing even without the headset being connected to the phone. This meant that even if I had to attend to a call, I would have to do it through the handsfree, otherwise it would not work.
I went to Sony Service center again and this time they said that they would have to send it to their head office in New Delhi and gave me another job sheet (Work order no. SE[protected]). After almost a month of follow up, these people called me up and said that your set is not repairable because it has been returned from our head office. I rang Sony Ericsson Customer care and they said if you let us talk to Service Center, we would ask them to repair it. I reached their Service Center and called up Customer care. The gentlemen from Customer care tried to help but the Service Center people were too adamant. Finally, when I checked my phone while taking it from Service Center, I found out that it had a message stating "Insert Correct SIM". I tried it with multiple SIM cards and it did not work. I showed this problem to the Service Center people. They took my phone back with the same work order no. (SE[protected]). Those people kept my phone for 2 more days and finally called me up and asked whether I have purchased this phone from outside India? I told them that this phone was purchased from authorized Sony Ericsson center in Gurgaon (DT City Center). To which those people added that whoever I have purchased this phone from, has purchased it from out of India and now it has got country lock and thus is not repairable. The lady further added that this can only be done from the “grey market”, so there is nothing much that they can do and asked me to collect my cell phone.

The biggest damage is that I gave my Sony phone in at least a working condition to Sony Ericsson authorized service center and now it is completely unusable. I had purchased this phone for around Rs. 15000.

Sony Ericsson — service center fraud

i took my mobile to center... they claimed to liquid damage which i dint occur as of to my knowledge... then said to come take my mobile stating it board is gone.. when i went they told me to bring 2000rps to cover charges of display and charger port and also said there was no board problem of any slot and phone was working fine...when i went back they said to throw my mobile as the main board went..i took the mobile after a protest and abuse from the service center cause the phone was totally damaged.. it was returned in half state and with damages all around it...there was many people nearly 30 having same complaints with the service center stating lost parts or replaced parts and miss handling on the same day... i would gladly present the witness when ever necessary please do needfull

Sony Ericsson — fraud service center

respected sir/ maam.
i am rohit chauhan from new delhi. i m facing so much problem with the sony ericcson service center...
known as vaishnavi service center in laxmi nagar...they are not solving my phone's problem since i year.... i m having problem again and again with my sony ericcson handet f305. they have changed its all parts then also phone is not working...........
they are never giving the satisfaction to all customers.

Hey Shishir,

Its really sad to know the experience you had with your Sony Ericsson phone. Even I am facing similar problem with my Sony Ericsson Aspen mobile and don't know if they will return me in a proper condition.

    this is Rahul Bharat Shinde.
    I had taken sony vio Laptop (Model number VPCEA23EN) at RS. 43000 on 14/8/2010 after six days later loptop got problem means when i was just watching movie after 3 & half hours it went in dead condition means i didn't got any reply from laptop not even start so i shown it to customer care which is held on vashi in new mumbai that time they said "his symos battory is discharged" they richarged it & give it back after three days later from submitting means on 22/8/2010.
    After repairing same problem has got again on 27/8/2010 so I shown it again to custmer care they said "We will replaced the syomos battory means MotherBoard Part" from 28/8/2010 till now my laptop is in customer care at vashi.
    So you tell me what i do the problem has come from company not from me still i am roaming here & there. company has given me faulty pease now you tell me what i do? you must should have to give me a replacement becouse the problem of the laptop should be come again. I realy want replacement please do something. Because this is to expensive laptop so i can't take the risk it at any more i want perfect & clear laptop please take the action quick. Concern me as soon as you possible.

      i m really a fool that i purchased the sony vaio because i thought it is the best but um afraid i was wrong from 1 month and 12 days u have ordered a new battery coz that battery i dun knw become dead in only 1 month....i want to make one thing clear to the ceo that i will definitely sue you coz u ppl have lost your credibility,,,,i cant wait this much ,.... i had to move outta country but coz of this i had to stay... i m in loss...if you cant deliver wat you say then y u ppl make the big promises,,,and its better you change your punch line of your brand....

        My name is Sai from Mysore ( Karnataka)
        I wanted to buy a sony erriccson product MH710, it is a handsfree headset with Mike.
        I approached so many sony delears in Bangalore and mysore, none of them has information about it.
        I tried calling up the sony erricsson toll free # 39011111 number of time but none of the helpdesk/Customer care executives repsonded to me.
        I Lost my patience for the last two months.
        My question is "When sony showrooms doesnt have the MH710 product why it is been displayed in Website"
        They have wasted my time and money.
        I own a Sony PSP/Sony DSC-H7 cam and W810i mobile, but the above mentioned situation has made me to never buy any sony product.
        I work on Audio/video formats Testing, i never ever suggest to buy sony product.
        Though the products are good sony in india is Worst in terms of Customer relationships.
        With lot of frustration i have decided to complain on this issue.
        Please do the needful to me.

          Hi,

          This is to inform you that I had purchased a Sony Bravia LCD V-Series 32 inch television. The serial number is (KLV32V300A) SONY LCD 32"(B25),CHASIS NO 6212402

          This LCD TV was purchased from Vijay Sales outlet at Prabhadevi, Mumbai via invoice no 39920 dated November 9, 2007.

          At the time of purchasing this TV, I had an option to buy a cheaper Samsung 32inch TV with the same technical specifications.
          However, since I have always patronized Sony products, I agreed to pay the extra premium to purchase this TV.

          The TV stopped working last month and when I contacted the authorized Sony service center, they said the LCD front panel and the mother board have failed which would result in an additional charge of Rs. 13,100. This charge is unforeseen and unacceptable. I expect Sony to provide a rebate on this price and replace the spare parts of this television at no excess price. There has been no physical damage to the television. On opening the TV’s plastic case, most of the components were found to be made in China.

          I hope this mail brings things to light on your quality standard which seems to have depleted drastically from the level which an average Indian has of SONY.

          I have a similar problem, which means that SONY has been manufactuing substandard goods & Dumping into the Indian market !!

          This is not a Warranty Issue, you MUST insist oin product replacement on Breach of quality Craftmanship & breach of trust on performance of Equipment.

            I have purchased “Sony Ericsson W395 Black”, IMEI No.[protected], from “Shiv Pooja Electronics”, Ghod Dod Road, Surat. Dated.15/10/2009, with Invoice No.763.

            After approx. two months from purchasing, we have doubt about the clarity and resolution of camera. We have contacted the “Authorised” service centre, i.e. S.P.Connecting, situated at the same location of “Shiv Pooja Electronics”, about the same, but we didn’t get any solution. For the same complaint, Workorder has not been created.

            On 06th Aug, 2010, we have reported problem of “non-operation of Bluetooth”, “hanging of Mobile” as well as “less clarity / Resolution of Camera images” to “S.P.Connecting”. Reference Workorder No. SE[protected].

            “Authorised” Service centre had returned back the same after twelve days, saying that, as problems has been resolved permanently. As per them, Instrument PCB has been replaced and new IMEI no. is [protected].

            After a few days, we felt the same problem of “non-operation of Bluetooth”, “hanging of Mobile” as well as “less clarity / Resolution of Camera images”. The same has been reported at “Authorised” service centre on Dated 21th Aug, 2010. Again they retained the mobile, and returned back the same after a week, saying that, No problem has been found.

            On the very next day, we found the same problem with mobile. We have submitted the same on dated 26th Aug, 2010. Again PCB Replacement has been done, as per the representative of Authorised Service centre. We got mobile on 31st Aug, 2010.

            After 3 days, we have the same problem, again we rush to service centre (4th time for the same problem within a month), and asked for the right service. According to them, they can’t offer any other service except PCB Replacement. Also one of the representatives of the service centre behaves very rudely with us, with a suggestion that we have to call customer care executive if we want some solution.

              Sony Ericsson Mobile — screen display not coming.

              I have purchased Sony Ericson mobile J105 I on 13 Jan 2010. The set became us in June and as I was out of country the set could only be sent for repair in the month of Aug to Kanpur Center. The Set was sent to Chennai center from Kanpur for repair. The Set was repaired and given back on 16 Aug 2010. The set has again developed same problem.

              My Gaurantee period will expire in January and as I am in a place where no repair facility is available.i will came back to india in the month of jan 2011. this set is used only for 3-4 month. will my warranty period will jan2010 or it may extended in any uncontrable situation.
              kindly advise .

                This is Prashanth here from Perambur, Chennai, I was using this Sonyericsson Mobile for the past 9months, I bought it at 04/11/2009 at Singapore 2000 in Perambur, .. Now the mobile display has got to repair, i have given for Service in Annanagar BRAMA ASSOCIATES (SOny ericsson Authorised Service centre on 27th August 2010 ) But when it has been one week, still there is no response, They keep on Saying ,.. we have sent to Headoffice... My job order form is SE310BA112534.. My model is W995 Sonyericsson .

                What the Bloody Service is offering to customers., Iam working in a ITC Hotel and suddenly my mobile got crashed,, but it has been one week so, there is no response. When i called[protected] or[protected]. There is a recorded voice saying.. Thank u for calling Your call is important to us... But they dont even take the call.. I have been trying for long.. No response. Waste of Calling u people..

                I have worked alot and bought this Brand mobile a worth of Rs.22,100. But the service u give us is very very poor.. No response /No call back / nor No confirmation.

                Worst service.. I need my mobile repaired back soon, or i wil sue you on the Court.. Please do the needful..

                  I had submitted my mobile phone model sony ericsson j105i to Sony Ericsson service center Vaishanvi Service (Laxmi Nagar) Branch for Mic & Charger Port problem On 14th August, 10. From there i got job sheet (SE310VSV12950) and they told me it will take 10 to 15 days maximum . after 10 days When I called to service center they told me your parts will be available by 30-August your set will be repaire on 03/09/10(friday) . When i called to service center on friday(03/09/1) they told me it will take 15 days more.
                  I am really frustrated to hear lame excuses and but sorry to say that the service of
                  sony ericsson which they provide to the customers is really pathetic...

                    Dear Sir,

                    I purchased Sony Home Theater three years back from my father in law's friend shop.

                    My wife went to buy & the product cost was something Rs 15600-00 so she finalized the product and requested the shopkeeper that just now I am carrying hard cash Rs 11000-00 which she gave & told him to collect the balance amount from my residence while delivering the good. But some how her father said i[censored] have cheque U give him & he will deposit after the product is been delivered & installed at my place on which she without questioning she gave Bank cheque & after three months later one odd Day I was checking my Bank A/C I notice two EMI cheque was been debited from my A/C in favor of GE Money so I got shocked & asked that why have U taken loan for such small amount which we have already paid by Cash by me & intimated him that the cheque is canceled . So when I came to know about this I informed my bank to stop accepting all the further any cheque come in name of GE Money for clearing. Then i contacted your local office & all your customer Numbers & told the whole story that this is a fraud done by your Franchise Desk Staff for which since last three years I am chasing & asking for detail but no response from your side except harassing on phone every now & then at any time & using worst language & abusing our family ladies for which now I have recorded your calls & forwarded to local Police station insisting if again any call we receive U take action against local office.
                    Secondly two years back one of your executive came to my office & looking to my Business and as we R the well renewed Group of Company under name of ( Tirupati Venkateshwar Group of Companies ) were we R only connected with Indian Army & Air force for them we R manufacturing spares for Gun's & Tanks & Fighter Plains. & I don't think sir U require such small amount as loan that to where U have paid 80-% cash on spot & balance next day it is something fraud done by your franchise or GE Money Staff which U R not finding out & unnecessarily pressuring us without any relation or Fault. So pls look into this matter seriously & try to close the case as early as U can.

                      I bought one mobile of sony Modal No-W700i dated on 20/06/2007 EMI no.[protected] and the next day i sent it to service center due to voice problem. The set was with new EMI no-[protected]. But the problem remain same. again i sent it to service center after this it not done complete again and then i not received it to till date.                       I have bought a Mobile handset phone from a Sony Ericsson showroom in Hyderabad. I am facing abnormal kind of problems from that Handset as the phone Keypad becomes non-active, handset hangs, doesn't play ring when getting incoming call, Display gets to freeze, phone switches off automatically and many related problems.

                      I observe the company has sold a defective piece to me. I have repeatedly given the device to company's authorized service center but it was returned after some temporary repairs. They have not been able to address the genuine problem in the phone handset. Much to my shock is that now people from service center are looking reluctant to repair the phone and not showing satisfactory response to my telephonic calls.                       Sony Ericsson — miss handling of phone in service station

                      Dear sir,

                      This is mohit chouhan. My cell phone was in warranty period and i have submitted my cell phone on 30th September for a minor problem (It was not connecting the Headset properly). Service center has asked to come after 20 days. After 20 days i went there, but they always say come tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. I did so for 15 days more and finally they gave me the phone after 36 days 5th of November, it was fully scratched and keypad has been changed, screen was also not fixed properly. Again we submitted the cell phone on 7th November to fix these issues. Then they said come after one week. Its now 30th of November, I haven't seen my cell till now. Service center say every day to come tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. All needed documents are attached into this mail.
                      Please help me out.

                      i brought a sony ericsson mobile w20 . than after 45 or 50 days , i had got a prob than service center repair my mobile . after 4 or 5 months i got another problem with bluetooth or FM or battery problem . than i deposit my cell phone again in service center . than they can't repair my phone . i deposit my phone 4 times in service center , but they can't repair my cell phone . last time i deposit my phone 24 june 2011 , and i got my phone back 20 july 2011 . but the problem is as it is .mere phone ko sony company mai bhi bheja tha repairing k liye but problem abhi bhi h . ab mere phone ki warrenty khatam hone wali h . aug k starting mai iski warrenty khatam ho jayegi . phir phone ko repair karwane mai bahoot paise lag jayenge. mere ph under warrenty mai thik nahi ho paya to mujhe ab es phone ki paymet wapas chahiye .
                      Since I got the Sony Ericsson mix Walkman, it has been a pain in the neck, my daughter contacted them about it a long time ago just after I got it.i have been back to tesco. Who my contract is with, but they say I will have to pay £50 if I want to change the phone as my contract does not finish until march, I am a pensioner and can't afford this all I want is for my phone to function properly.

                        i purchased vaio notebook on 2 of augest 2010 and on 27/08/2010 ,i found that my notebook is showing a message:"os is not found",i called customer care and then i know that the hard disk of my notebook is crashed. i contact to service centre and there customer care executive told me the same that hard disk is crashed.i have some important data in my notebook so i told him for the recovery of data but he refused to do it and he told me to do this recovery from outside market , i thought that this is fault of sony vaio service providers ,it's not possible that a hard disk of new notebook is crashed in a this short interval of time ,i'm working as a software developer in a mnc ,if my data is not provided to me, i will file a case against sony vaio at consumer court ,

                          Dear sir,

                          I have bought xperia x10 i just 2 months back and I am haveing trouble with the phone from the very first week of purchase, the problem I am encountering is that the 3g services cannot be used in the phone for more than 2-3 days. The internet is disabled automaticaly on 3g mode, at first i contacted the service provider of 3g [ bsnl ] in my town and got the sim changed but to no use the problem still presisted, I even changed my number 2 times but of no use the internet signal would not last for more than 4-5 days. I even got the sims of bigger capacity {latest being 128 k} available with the service provider. Ironicaly all the sims are working properly in anyother 3g phone, i also have a sony ericsson w595 and 3g internet is working properly in it. There seems no fault with the service provider, i have even updated my phone with update service twice but that also didnot help. I got the updates also done by the service centre. It seems they cannot understand the problem with the phone. They keep on giving me further dates, they have no solutions to my problem. I talked to the head and owner of service centre MR JOHNNY and discussed the problem with him, he was convinced that there is a manufactuering defect with the phone and told me to call MR SACHIN head of technical and services department, MR SACHIN instead of listening to my problem told me that the phone was ok and the problem was with the service provider, he did not seem bothered about the problem and disconnected the phone. when I rang him again he told me he would call after 10 mins but his 10 mins are not over as yet.
                          Finally, i went to the shop where i bought the phone and gave my phone to the promoter, he used the phone with his on 3g sim and after 18 hrs encountered the same problem.

                          Sony Ericsson — Xperia X10i

                          I have purchased Sony Xperia X10 few months back. I have noticed a problem in hand set after few days as it gets off itself if the internet was connected over it. I have consulted the Customer Service at Aundh, Pune for the problem and here is the story afterwards.
                          After upgrading the phone 2 times the engineer still didn't understood the problem with the phone and he asked it to take it back as he was not ready to submit for repair. After having a heated argument he inform that I have to go to main service center to submit it. Once the phone submitted and after lots of argument they agreed that there is some build in defect in the phone and since then I am following about the phone and received no response.
                          On top of that on a argument over the phone Customer Service hung up the phone in between with all the rudeness in talking.


                          My question to Sony is that the way the put the money in the advertisement, please put money in hiring the literate Customer Executives and making reliable goods or else don't expect Consumer to go and buy your products. I'll make sure from my end that I can put my words over to as many people as possible about the kind of product you make and the way your people behave so that people are aware about the real face of this company.

                            I bought this Sony Erricson C510 mobile on Oct' 2009 from Univercell,Madiwala-Bangalore.After 6 months the display is divided into two parts.Two times it fell down.I gave my mobile to the Sony erricson authorised service centre at Service Point,Jayanagar 4th Block,Bangalore.They told that it is because of the liquid damage.So after 2 days you can collect your mobile.They charged me Rs.150/ for the service.Till my mobile is having warranty period.They told that liquid damage will not comes under the warranty period.So you have to pay.After 2 days i called the service centre and asked about the status of my mobile.They told that it can't be repaired ,because the mother board got damaged.Then i went to that and i fought with them.Kindly pls tell me ,if mother board got damaged means,how all the functions and features of the mobile will work....Please kindly help me......

                              I bought a zony ericsson xperia x10 mini on Jun 3 2010 in madurai. First the mobile getting problem in software regarding touch on Jul 12th 2010. i produce the sell inservice center madurai. they take one day for delivery and they told everything is right. second the charge is not standing upto 3 hours. again i raise the complaint 30th Aug 2010 in madurai sony ericsson service center. But they told that it will take one week to clear this problem. i asked why one week to solve this problem?.. They told that for this mobile we send it to chennai theyonly check the battery. within two months i face these problem. i spend 15000 and getting this mobile but they is no service in madurai. my question is
                              why they sell the product without having service persons or center in madurai.
                              For one week what it my position for mobile. ( i want to buy another mobile?)
                              If this product is not good then stop to sell that product.
                              they will never take care of customer.

                              regarding this issue i need a solution. if the service is not here then get back my mobile and repay the amount. otherwise i want standby mobile (same brand) for this one week.

                                I have a Sony Bravia LCD TV, model number KLV-32S400A, which is purchased on 30th Dec 2008. The product is now 1 year and 8 months old. The TV is defective, and has stopped functioning properly. After 5 to 20 minutes of watching TV, the screen goes dark slowly, until it is completely black.
                                I raised a complaint/service request for this on Sunday, 22nd August. Complaint was registered as 5826989. On Monday, 23rd Aug, I called up Sony customer care to inquire about the status. I was told that since this complaint was raised just yesterday, I would have to wait for sometime, as the response time is 48 hours. This response is quite disappointing, as I expected at least some intimation about when a service engineer would be able to come and inspect this.

                                After 48 hours, there was no response, and I had to raise a further complaint in Sony India website. I finally got a call from Sony service engineer on Thursday, 26th Aug, which is 4 working days after I raised my first complaint. All this while, my TV is still not functional enough for regular TV viewing. The service engineer refused to come to my apartment on Thursday evening, as it was raining. He finally came to check the TV today, Saturday, 28th August. This is almost a full week after I raised the complaint. As if this pathetic service was not enough, I am now told that the problem is with the LCD panel, and I have to wait till Monday to know exactly what the problem is, and how much it will cost. The service engineer has also given a tentative estimate of the panel replacement charges as Rs. 15,000.
                                After this experience it has convinced me that Sony India is, on the one hand, selling low quality products which turn defective soon after warranty period, and they have compounded the issue by extremely bad after sales service. The TV cost Rs. 39,900. For a price like this, which is much higher than that of LG & Samsung, a customer expects, at the least, a TV of exceptional quality. Not only is the quality poor, it is pathetic, since I have never experienced a TV that stops working in 1 year & 8 months. I strongly believe that either I have been sold a defective product, or all Sony Bravia TVs are of sub-standard quality, and action should be taken against Sony India.

                                The Engineer came finally and give the shock of Rs.15000 estimate for panel replacement.
                                I don'y know whats happening in Sony these days. If a LCT TV worth of Rs.40, 000/- needs a maintanace of 15, 000/- per 18 months, its shame on SONY for manufacturing and selling in Indian markets.

                                I am the sony lover and my Preivious two CRT was also Sony and my desktop's display also 17" Sony LCD which i replaced for a 15" CRT.

                                I can't under satnd why sony is doing like this, they are not supporting of the bad quality product. it is hame for SONY to bring such a bad model in the Indian market. Does they do in the US & European market where consumer are well protected by the Law.

                                I request to sony to take necessary action to fix our problems, caused by the substandard panels which fails with in 18 months or so.

                                There will be "n" number of consumers like us where they amy not know this comsumenr compliant forum.
                                Hi This is Kalidas again.

                                I want to share one example of one MNC.

                                I have Apple Macbook 13.3" White Laptop, where they are replacing the top Case along with the keyboard with out charging single Rupee, whe the top case peals of at the cormers, if it is with in 3 Years of purchase, as Apple felt this is ther problem due to the design.

                                One of my friend got a new Macbook even after the warranty period is over due to the failures he faced.

                                I don't think so, SONY will have customer satisfaction police like APPLE.
                                yes i have same model LCD TV purchased in nov08, my tv shows negative images, service engineer told to replace panel which cost near about 15000rs.this company sell inferior quality product in Indian market.i have seen may complaint having same type of problem, this means manufacturing defect in panel of this model but sony won, t agree to accept manufacturing defect in this model (KLV-32S400A).I have lodge so many complaints mails to company but they don't replay. they are cheating with their valuable customer.

                                  i have got a key pad problem in my sony yari mobile i went to a service center known as mobile technology wch is at tardeo when i went there and showed my mobile first they told me they will charge me 1500 but my mobile was in warranty period then also they said they will charge me.when i went to the same shop next day they said they will charge me 2200 wht kind of monoply is this .after few days i went to another sony service center wch took my cell phone for replacement for some parts its been 15 days the parts are not available.i would like to lodge a complain in the name of mobile technology sony service centre cause they where planning to charge me with monopoly aLtough my mobile was in warrranty period

                                    I Bought Sony Ericsson W995 mobile in the month of January. I have used the hand set as per the guidelines provided in the manual provided along with the mobile and also judicially as its pretty costly mobile. But the key pad is wearing out and the buttons are coming out slowly. When i approached the service center i had a very bitter experience there as the people did not even touch my mobile and check as they told that the keypad wear out does not come under warranty and we do not take any complaints for the same issue. I told them that my product is still in warranty and they should replace the key pad for free of cost. They were not ready to listen to me and just ignored me. I called up sony ericsson customer care and i was unlucky even with them as they too denied me any help and that too after couple of times the call was intentionally disconnected by them without my consent. They have set the warranty terms and conditions in their favour by giving warranty only for those parts which do not get repair and for the frequently wearing out parts customers are not given even single free replacement. I have been given a sub standard low quality product for 18900Rs which is not even worth for 3000Rs as such cheap mobiles keypads are far better than this product.I had given a complaint on 22nd Aug 2010 for which they sent a reference number back to me but still have not taken any action from the complaint date.Please help me out as i was very depressed with the way the customer care center people and their manager talked to me and disconnected my call without my consent and also check out the terms and conditions issue as its not customer friendly.

                                      Now lemme start with the story last week the inbuilt ATI card stopped functioning took it to the service centre generic reply driver went corrupted, I asked to re install it, not possible was the reply the complete window needs to be installed. I gave a green signal but they cannot format the only part of windows they want the complete system to be formatted and the windows can be only installed then.
                                      Nice one , that's what I thought why the hell in the world the complete system required to be formatted any how its done the problem rectified it started working ( I am sure the ATI card was corrupted and hence replaced) take your point u just re installed the driver and windows and the system is running

                                      Day before yesterday while working the screen went off and then there was a lining in the centre mean the LCD has leaked, amazed so am I.
                                      I took it back to the service centre and they say its my bloody fault, can be replaced if I pay, what the hell is this piece 'a supernova creation of sony', a masterpiece (read as manufacturing defect to be precise) so how the hell am I responsible donno even know what else are defected in there.

                                      I am writing this mail to u as claiming for a new piece against it. Request u to please exchange for a good machine.
                                      I don not want this piece of crap any more you can have it back.

                                      yes u r correct. the solution may be solved just by reinstalling the video driver. the reason that they suggested a complete reinstall of windows is because some files (this could be any file) in your computer may be having a conflict or is causing the driver to fail from working properly. although the solution that u r thinking of can be the first step of solving the problem. then if it doesnt solve it, the next step can be reinstalling windows. im not a big fan of sony or anything im just setting ur expectations that reformating ur drive could be the only solution... so it will be easier for u to move on about erasing ur files... hehehe

                                        I have given my Mobile Model No. W595 of Sony Erricsion to the Service Centre at Eternity Mall, Thane on 2 Aug 2010 for display repairing. But as on date I have not received my Mobile as well whenever I call, I get a response that display part is not available and we will call you once it is repaired. My Complaint No. is SE310CS115774. I am very Disappointed by the service of Sony Erricsion as there is no timelines set by them for the repair. Please do the neeful as my hands are tied.
