Dear Sir,
I had purchased SONY CRT TV 21” on 14.04.2008. After one month on 14 May 2008 the set turned off after three and half hours operation. I switched off the set and again started it, again after 10 minutes it turned off automatically. I contacted dealer M/S Jyoti Electrovision, Kalyan(W), Pin 421 301, (Phone[protected]. After some days DOMBIVALI Service Centre(Sony) technician attended the set. In the month of August 2008, technician took out the mother board for repair. After one week he fitted the mother board.After some days when the set was on for more then three hours or so, it again turned off. This problem is still in the set. I again contacted Sony Tall free No.[protected] on 30.03.2009 vide complaint no. 3803 641. No action has been taken upto 08.04.2009. I again contacted your Tall free No. on 08.04.2009 vide complaint no. 3825 685 and reminder on 20.04.2009 ( to MS Bhawana) then only on 21.04.2009 one technician from Dombivali Centre, came and again took out the mother board for repair but also was unable to solve my problem.
The warranty period has expired but the service centre (Sony) could not solve the problem.
I request you to please replace my above set through Sony India Ltd.

    Sir,
    I purchased my Sony Vaio laptop model VGN-CS17 with serial no.7001678 on 26 Oct'09. Shortly after the purchase the fan started to make noise and so I got it repaired at the Jaipur service center. Then again one day the laptop was dead so I gave it to the Agra service center and got it repaired. After this incident the cd/dvd drive of my laptop stopped working and so it was again repaired at the Jaipur service center. Now my laptop stops working and the power goes off as soon as I start any process. I mailed to the company complaining about the problem and asked them to repalce my laptop as this was the fourth time my laptop got a hardware problem and thus in my view the whole laptop is defective and thus it should be replaced. They asked to visit the service center and said that service center will solve my problem. At service center I was told to mail back to the company telling them to replace my laptop. So I did the same as what I was told. Now after so many days of sending the mail I havent recieved any answer from them. I have been sending the mail again and again but there is no response.

    I would like you to kindly consider my request and help me to get either my laptop replaced or a satisfactory answer from the company.
    I have a strong feeling that their is some latent defect in DVD DRIVE and other products of particular SONY VAIO models. SONY should recall such laptops and replace/repair them free of cost. On contrary to which SONY is not responding to geniune Warranty Claim made for my DVD DRIVE and trying to find some unreasonable excuse of not replacing/repairing the defective part. SONY says they create demand by rolling out best quality product. But with so many complaints in SONY VAIO what SONY has give Customer is nothing but "inconvenience" and that too at a heavy price.

    Hello All,

    I can't believe that SONY VAIO laptops will turn out to be so degraded in quality. I just purchased SONY VAIO laptop model VGN-CS24G, 4 months ago and few days back I started experiencing problem with it, with so many fluctuations coming on my display so I thought to get it repaired at SONY Service Centre, Jodhpur from where I purchased it initially. But at Service Centre, do not know exactly what they have changed that whole display is not working and now they are saying that they need to send it to Delhi to get it repaired as they do not have any knowledge of this hardware problem, but this is something so ridiculous...now, my whole display is not working and its been just 4 months. Sony people are saying to take that to Delhi Service Centre which is bit risky in itself as afterwards, I will be knowing that whole laptop is missing. I want it to be replaced with a new laptop. Please comment or respond as how to get this done.

      I had bought a Sony 3LCD WEGA ENGINE TV MODEL KF-E50A10 from SONY WORLD,Ashok Nagar, Chennai, India in Nov 2006. I had no problems with my T.V. until April 2009. In May 2009, the T.V. automatically started switching on and off by itself, for every 30 seconds. Hence I am not able to
      view any program continuously.

      I had given a complaint with Sony Service Centre at Valasarawakkam who inspected and after collecting Rs.100 as inspection charge told me that he is unable to fix the problem and told that
      someone from SONY will service directly.

      After a week, a person called Senthil came saying that he is from Sony and fixed a part called 'Lamp" in my T.V. which he brought along with him. Then the T.V worked for 10 minutes and he
      said that everything was fine and asked me to pay a sum of Rs.13,000/- in cash. When I demanded
      bill for the same, he refused. I grew suspicious and asked him to take a cheque in the name of SONY, which he refused too and took back the 'lamp' and also collected an inspection charge of Rs.250/- for the same. He did not give any receipt like the first personnel.

      As I was leaving abroad, I thought of fixing this problem later. After my return, I again called the Sony Service Centre at Valasarawakkam who once again inspected the T.V. , took Rs.100/- , gave no
      receipt and told that he will send the quote for the repair. After several calls nobody is bothered to either attend or send a quote or act to fix the problem. Today I was fortunate to get the person who attended my fault, on phone. He told me that since I refused for cash payment, I have to bring the T.V at my own cost to their Work shop, also pay whatever they charge which may range from Rs.14000 for lamp + additional charge for changing the Board + Rs.3000 for labour. They refused to fix the lamp as before at my house and insisted on somehow getting my TV to their place.

      Now, I feel that I am being cheated and taken for a ride by some unscrupulous elements in Sony Service. Since the T.V is less than 3 years old and I had bought it for Rs.1,00,000/- through SONY WORLD, Ashok Nagar, Chennai, I want this T.V to be replaced free of charge as this is only a manufacturing defect. I am a regular purchaser of Sony Products for the last 20 years and I own a SONY Audio System, Sony Home Theatre, Sony Digital Video Camera, 3 SONY Televisions including a LCD, SONY PSP etc. All along I had been using SONY as I had complete faith in your products and they have also performed over the years without any defect. But to my shock, I find that this T.V which is less than 3 years old is giving problem and worst is the Service you offer or can I say the disservice offered to me.

      I have been pained and put to great mental stress because of this and I hence request you to immediately replace the T.V . If I do not hear from you, I intend to legally take up the matter with the consumer court, Chennai and get suitable remedy along with compensation.

            I have handed over my mobile under their work order no. SE[protected] on 11.9.09. This phone is under warranty. I am moving out of my city on 19th Septr and service centre neither infming me when they will deliver my phone before my leave to this city nor providing me new phone. They are also not informing specific date of delivery. I need my phone as i am suffering my business too.

            sony w910i — didnt get any response yo yhe service center

            Sir there is a problem on the behalf of service center

            And he got problem on his handset after 2 month ( the handset out going mic was not working) then he submitted his phone to the service center
            On dated 10/11/08 but still after second month is started they cant get any a single response to the service center .

            when i m talking to the service center guy why it is delayed
            the girls said "the customer couldn't get any follow-up from us"

            thus it delayed

              I am using Sony Erricsson Z530i model mobile. I got the display problem when opening the flip.so I took the service from service center and they replaced the FLEX cable to this model Z530i. and the next i got the error when putting the charging. the error is : "Serious Error : Stop charging and dont use the mobile, please contact sony erricsson call center" that is the error i got.so please confirm what happend to this mobile, why cann't i use? can the error is rectified or not? please give the details immediatly..how can it rectified? please take action immediatly. send the reply to my email or contact no.

                i bought a sony ericsson w350i mobile phone on 10/05/2009.after a month the flap of the phone broke and came out.i have one more phone so i used this cell phone only to listen to songs and play games.this cell phone was not used much.as far as i remember the phone never fell from my hand.suddenly one day the flap broke and came out.after that the over head lock system stopped working.soon my music player stopped working,not even from inside the menu.gradually the phone colour started fading and the light behind the number pad stopped working.please help me out with this problem.it has been four months and i am still not able to use it.'one mobile' the mobile shop from where i purchased this phone took no responsibility...please help me.

                  my mobile flip is broken i want to replace it wiht new white panel
                  how much cost is the white panel?
                  I also have the same problem in my sony W350i phone.

                  Its flip got broken last year and since past 1 year i am trying to find out the body of this phone.

                  but unfortunatly it is not available on any of sony service center.

                  Sony should fill shame that they have launch such bad phone whose body got damage in just 2-3 months.

                  i have seen many people who are using this phone and they all have lost the flip of their phone.

                  Can some from sony look into this issue and think

                    I bought a w910i sony ericsson mobile from subhiksha mobiles in Pune on MG Road in Dec 2007.
                    the phone was very slow, used to hang up, sometimes not start. and now after in Sep 2009, i found that the phone is not switching on at all, When i went to sony ericsson service center in pune, they informed me that the motherboard of the phone has gone and the cost of it will be 70% of the handset cost.

                    I must say that the phone W910i is a complete waste of money.

                      I bought this sony ericsson w205 mobile 2 months back. It has all the features like mp3, bluetooth, fm etc. But right from the month of purchae the charge will get down soon. It will not last for evev a day. Now when i open memory card the phone automatically gets switched off. I have to search for sony ericsson service centre and also the service centrs are very limited.

                      Sony Ericsson W205 — THIRD CLASS PRODUCT/SERVICE

                      I have never come across this type of 3rd class product.It has lot lots of problem.After buying handset in Aug'2009 I went twice for repairing at Borivali Ser.Centre with list of serious 22 type of problems.First time they only upgraded software and this time they took 2 days and damaged my handset screen body while repairig, and given me back with dirty screen from inner side and loose slider.While asking the reason for same I got reply that "This (screen) is cosmetic part and it gets damage while opening" I was so frustrated by his answer.First of all, this is the WORST PRODUCT OF SONY, THEY DO NOT HAVE SKILLED TECHNICIAN and SONY DOES NOT TAKE CARE OF CUSTOMERS. I would never ever suggest anybody to buy Sony products.

                            I was the loyal customer of Sony Ericsson, purchased a mobile set (Sony Ericsson W350i) from THE MOBILE STORE, invoice number UP/01051/00001/7287, dated[protected].

                            The mobile set stated giving the trouble in display after few months of purchasing then I have been deposited the mobile set to your customer care centre named as NEW DELHI TECHNOCARE located at LAJPAT NAGAR,NEW DELHI on[protected], the complaint id was NIL (Bill prepared manually due to none availability of electricity .Copy of the same is enclosed.

                            They handed over my mobile set on 16.06.2008 when I switch on the mobile the condition of my mobile was same like before. I have deposited my mobile in customer care centre at Noida on 17.06.2009(Copy enclosed), they checked the mobile and said that the mobile was not properly repaired and there is a chance of its being dead. Therefore, they had advised me to submit my mobile at previous service centre.
                            I have again deposited the same with customer care centre (as above mentioned) on[protected]; the complaint id was SE309TEC-10445(Copy enclosed). They said they will be sanding it to factory for changing its mother board. On[protected] I enquired about the mobile and confirmed by them that it is again in the same condition and mother board was not changed. I have refused to take in same condition after a spat with customer care executive then they assured me to change mother board from the factory, Again the same situation was faced as mentioned above. This time they said that liquid found in my mobile set. Now I reached in conclusion that they damaged my mobile set during repair and ball thrown in my court. It is totally careless/ irresponsible act by service centre where as they holding my mobile by three months.

                                The above mobile was purchased on 26.08.09 at WAVETEL COMMUNICATION CHENNAI vide Bill No.083/26.08.09. for the next day the mobile was hanged. I have given the same to the dealer for compliance rectification and it was sent to service centre on29.08.09 vide work order no.SE309UM110402,
                                Problem reported :Phone hang permanently in menu/application & Hanging problem. Till today i have not received the rectified mobile. I have also contacted severral times to the dealer they are not responsing correctly.
                                Now I request you to replace another mobile instead of the old one.

                                  I had purchased a Sony Ericsson K850i in 17th january 2009. five month post my purchase, i started facing problems with some of the functions and eventually the handset was dead. I went to the Authorized Sony Ericsson Service Center at chennai and they said there is a software problem.

                                  The software was re installed {don't know what they doing inside the service centre} as said by the Sony Ericsson Customer Care and after some days, i again started facing problems with the handset, the keypads worked vaguely, Camera not starting automatically after the shutter opening and not able to hear the sound with headphones on ... memory stick not detected ... just to name a few problems !!!

                                  I then went back to another Authorized Service Center at chennai {salai Enterprise, Shop No. 213 & 214, first floor,(near Krishna cutpiece)Purasawalkam high road,purasawalkam chennai 7 Phone No.[protected], . The genteman out there Mr. Arvind was very good to respond ... but made his point clear that the phone had liquid damage {Good communication skills i would say and NO intention of helping the Customer} and let the company decide on what to do ... the phone INSPITE of being under Warranty . {Fooling People ... so that they don't have to work on it}. Mr. Arvind had then said about he would help in direct communication between myself and the technicians, since the service center did NOT have technicians working !!! SURPRISING, he also said he would himself be informing me as soon as the next thing comes in from the company{which again he never did ... and which i knew}.

                                  Am the customer of sony ericsson past 5 month.... what is my problem na...... first time my mobile gets problem ... totally hand set dead.... i went service centre... they told ... its software problem nu..... after tht my mobile working properly... then again 15 days same problem i faced... again they told same reason sir.... every 15 days once am going service centre for this problem ..... in my 8 th time problem s display fault.... he changed my display... then 9 th time camera problem ... camera is not working .......i mine today....i dont want this kind of problem and all.... so kindly replace my hand set sir......


                                  Anyway they are telling there is no other to go. We are doing only upgrade and re-install software.. and will cost me nearly same as the new phone ... how Intelligent Solution from SONY ERICSSON ...

                                  I liked the way they have proved to be good business people with no ETHICS and values under it..

                                  BAD COMPANY ... rather CHEAP Company ... Never Buy a Sony Ericsson Product..

                                  Sony Ericsson Mobile — Mobile became dead in five months

                                  I had bought Sony Ericsson mobile phone P1i in March' 08 for Rs. 19200/-. About a month back the phone got wet in rain and since then it has become dead. I gave the same to sony's authorised service centre and after 15 days the service centre returned the phone with reason that the phone is "dead" and not repairable.

                                  I, thereafter, lodged complaint with Sony by e-mail, however, there is no response from Sony in this regard to my several mails.

                                  Such an expensive mobile phone has become irrepairable and Sony is not taking any congnisance to my complaints.

                                  Sony Ericsson/ K810i Mobile Phone — Authorised Service Centre is Fooling Customers

                                  My Six month Old Sony Ericsson Phone(K810i) Cost nerly 13K gone bad. when I went there in a sony ericsson service centre Service Point, Jayanagar 4th Block, Bangalore to get it repaired. They Returned it after 15 Days and Told it is non Repairable. After I went in onther service centre and they are telling it is not having its original parts. it means 1st service centre changed the Parts of phone. it is in service period
                                  I fully agree with you as i am also the other custumer of Sony mobiles with faulty phonesand spening Rs 20000 after i phone my mobile in last 5 months have been with me only for 3 months and 2 months with the service center
                                  I have purchased T700 mobile in March'09, Now Within 2 months only, Ringtone is not working,
                                  Service is very bad, I should sujjest u, Dont purchased Sony Ericsson sets,
                                  Nokia is good.

                                  Sony Ericsson — same problem existing four times under warranty

                                  The Motherboard was replaced {don't know with OLD/NEW one} as said by the Sony Ericsson Customer Care and after some months, i again started facing problems with the handset, the keypads worked vaguely, Camera not starting automatically after the shutter opening and not able to hear the sound with headphones on ... memory stick not detected ... just to name a few problems !!!

                                  I then went back to another Authorized Service Center at Goregaon {Dynatronics Enterprise, Shop No. 3, Anamika Apt. Plot No. 29/C, Off S.V. Road, Jawahar Nagar, Near Sudama Restaurant, Goregaon(W), Mumbai -- 400062. Ph:[protected], Work Order# SE309DY110502}.                                   I had purchase a sony ericsson mobile phone, model w205 wuth 1.3 mp camera(as i was told by the dealer during the time of purchase). But after a month oe so i got that my mobile phone was not supporting 1.3mp pictures. Then i contact authorised sony ericsson center at janakpuri, district center and told him the problem of my mobile set. He told me to submit the mobile set foe the proper service. I submit that set to the above service center and got returned after the service. While returning to me my mobile set the service center engineer told me that my mobile is not supporting 1.3mp pictures. So i have changed its motherboard. Moreover they have made so many scratches on my mobile phone body which didn't look nice. While knowing initially that my mobile set is not supporting 1.3mp pictures, why they changed the motherboard.

                                  After that i contact another sony ericsson authorised service center at faridabad and told him the fact, who did not accept my mobile set and told me this will not support 1.3 mp picture. Now neither 1.3mp pictures accepted by my mobile phone nor volume of audio is increased which is not to be listened.

                                  Therefore it is requested that either the same set may please be replaced otherwise i shall move this matter to the consumer court.

                                    It is for your information that i had submitted my sony ericsson handset model no. w910i for reparing in sony ericsson service center New Delhi Balaji Tele Services, 84 Avtar Enclave, Paschim Vihar, New Delhi-63. i had submitted it on 15 july 2009 but still today i haven't received it back from service center.
                                    I have complaint so many times in the service center and customer care of sony ericsson but not once a satisfactory answer received. They said they send my mobile in repair factory for repairing. It has completed more than 45 days but still i have not received my mobile yet.
                                    So please take any necessary action that i get my reaired mobile back urgently.

                                    sony ericsson w910i — haven't got the product repaired and more than a month has gone

                                    my phone sony ericsson w910i was purchased on 15-oct-2008 from sony ericsson experience store donaplanet guwahati mail:[protected]@gmail.com .i got one year warranty with the handset.But it had got some technical problem so i gave it to sony ericsson service center for repair on 10-sept-2009.My phone's imei no.                                     I had submitted my handsfree of w595 on 9-oct-2009 at avtar enclave but till the date of[protected] i didn't recieved it. when i got to ask for it on 25-oct-2009 they informed me we are not handling the complaints of warranty costumers and they informed me that my handsfree will be given by courier but i think that they are making fool of me no body is picking my phone there bcz they r not informing me at all. I am totally frustrated by this service. I am just waiting for few more days beware friends(avtar enclave branch) unless you will have to pay some thing more than handsfree.

                                    bcz i am also a service supervisor(costumer support) for 3 years and i know that how to handle these cases

                                      Dear Sir/Madam:
                                      I bought this Sony Ericsson Mobile Model J120i on 20 February 2009. It works for sometime than it quits taking charge. I charge for 8-10 hours and then the mobile says "battery empty" and it shuts down. I have been to two Sony Ericsson Service Centers in Jaipur 4 times (2 visits to each center). Every time they fix it it works for a few weeks and then same problem. I requested them to replace the mobile because it is a "lemon" (factory defect) but they do not listen. In the US they gladly replace a defective item. But in India, they do not care if the customer has to go to the service center again and again and again. I do not know what to do now. I hope the company is responsive to customers.

                                        I purchased a Sony Ericsson C510 on 30/4/2009 from Planet M, Laxmi Nagar, New Delhi.Since then my mobile had keypad problem.I got it repaired 7 times.Inspite being in warranty I was charged Rs.946 for which I was Served with no legal written
                                        evidence.I urged for the bill, but Service center(Vaishnavi Services, Laxmi nagar.New Delhi)officials denied
                                        for it.I urge for compensation for my money`s worth from consumer forum.Hoping for justice.
                                        My phone is in tatters.
                                        I have complained and not got a response.
                                        I need replacemnet of phone.
