Am using this mobile since 2yrs. 3-4 times there was software complaint so i updated it from responsible service centers. From 2days am experiencing that my mobile displaying like a negative photograph, but no display of any colors. this problem am experiencing 4 d 1st time. WHAT I HAVE 2 DO NOW???

sony ericsson w550i — Charging more money for changing display

Dear Sir,

I am Shasiraj from Bangalore, India.
I have purchased Sony Ericsson W550i on Oct'2006. Last week my mobile had been wet by rain so Display have gone. So I have approched Sony Ericssion authourised dealer named OVEZ COMMUNICATION, Richmond Circle, Bangalore. They have charged me 2030Rs to change the display. Wheathere to change a display it will take so much money. Inspite of that they also not served properly.

I request you to cancel they authorised dealership. Because they were lacking in customer satisfactory.

    I own a sony ericsson HPM-85 headset purchased on[protected] from CELLULAR WORLD TRIVANDRUM,which has warranty coverage of 1 year.By[protected] one side of the headset seized to work.I approached the SYNERGY SERVICES-A DIVISION OF PROMPT SERVICES(SONY ERICSSON CERTIFIED SERVICE CENTRE, PATTOM, TRIVANDRUM) and submitted the required documents to replace/repair my headset on[protected].The work order is

    SES09 SYS10599

    The customer executive told us to wait for 3 weeks to replace/repair the headset. I have been contacting the center on the following dates:

    26/03/2009
    12/04/2009
    28/05/2009

    for obtaining my replaced/repaired product.But they have telephonic-ally replied me that they will contact me back when the shipment/courier arrives.Till date(11/11/2009) i have not received any calls from the centre,when i approached them on 11/11/2009, they accused us at being late to receive the headset and .The headset was returned to us WITHOUT ANY REPAIR/REPLACE from SYNERGY SERVICES, PATTOM, TRIVANDRUM, KERALA. I suspect that they have used the product without informing us that it has arrived, and i have been forced to accept the OLD HEADSET ITSELF in an UNSEALED CONTAINER and have been deprived of my rights to warranty AT THIS DATE.


    The MANAGER treated me very badly with unpolite words and ushered words of abuse towards me when i demanded that my headset is not repaired/replaced and that it should be done,the manager said that they are not responsible for the condition of the headset. Since i don't have any proof for the telephonic conversations, i am treated as if it was my neglect to collect the headset. The manager denied us to obtain details about the REPAIR DATE of the product.Since SONY ERICSSON has specifically included in the WARRANTY CONDITIONS that

    "IF SONY ERICSSON REPAIRS OR REPLACES THE PRODUCT, THE REPAIRED OR REPLACED PRODUCT SHALL BE WARRANTED FOR THE REMAINING TIME OF THE ORIGINAL WARRANTY PERIOD OR FOR NINETY(90) DAYS FROM DATE OF REPAIR WHICHEVER IS LONGER."

    When I pointed out this clause in the SONY ERICSSON WARRANTY CONDITIONS, the manager replied that the clause is not applicable to his centre (SYNERGY Services a.k.a. PROMPT Services,Pattom), clearly defying TERMS & CONDITIONS of SONY ERICSSON. I EXPECT SONY ERICSSON TO TAKE INITIATIVE AGAINST THIS FRAUDULENT APPROACH FROM AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRES AND THAT I WILL GET MY HEADSET REPAIRED/REPLACED WITH A NEW ONE.

    i entirely agree to this incident, i am an eye witness to such incidents, where the customer was ill treated in the same way. i hope the authorities will take notice and make a prompt action against these frauds

      I am from ranchi and my sony ericsson K550i is in warranty period . i had some problems regarding insert sim about 2 months ago . I went to your sevice centre situated at MAIN ROAD , RANCHI . They solved the problem but the repairment created problems like it is turned off now n then with a lots of hanging and white screen display. The battery also is not working properly.I went to the service centre many times but they return the phone wiyh the problem unsolved . please cooperate
      The right navigation key and right button is not working. And the batteryis getting discharged very soon since a few days. also it 's also having problem in capturing range.

        I had bought the set on 14.08.2009.Immediatly the set erased data on memory chip three times.I went to the service station and updated the software three times but the problem remains the same.Then the concerned service station requested the company officials to change the set but they didnt accept and changed its PCB.But afterwards the phone didnt get signal.And i took the phone to the service station.They tried to sought out the problem but didnt get any result and now I want to replace the set because from the very beinning i bought, it didnt work properly

          I am IITM student. 20 months back I have purchased K810i mobile phone. a month before i feel the hand set heated up when ever i'm charging the phone. one day that battery was broken while charging (due to heat). i gave to authorized service center they have taken 15 days for finding the problem and they returned my mobile. The reason they are telling mother board have problem due to short circuit in the board thats need 70% of mobile cost to rectify!!!. now that useless mobile with me... I have planned to send my mobile as 'GIFT' to Sony India.. (for showing the product Beauty). i never suggests any one to buy Sony Ericsson mobile!!! and far better to buy China mobile (to save the cost)

          battery camera prices
          Sony ericsson k810i is not a good choice, is because this phone easy to get hot when u in a call. Other than this, this phone automatic off or restart phone. It's battery also very fast finish in 1 day tat battery is give with the box when buy the phone. So conlusion is this phone not a good choice. TQ.
          key pad is not working fine i buy the phone in jan after 3 month my key pad total gone .

          I would like to know how much time you will take to repair my handset. It is already more that one month.

          Sony Ericsson — battery problem

          dear sir/madam

          I have brought new spiro mobile of sony ericsion on 9 oct 2010.

          from pune.

          sorry to say i cannot use the mobile more than 2-3 hours due to battery problem.

          Battery shows full , when we use for 2-3 hours suddenly battery drops to low and get switch off.

          Hardly 2-3 call my wife is attending but then also battery gets low.

          if i use the mobile it will not last more than half hours.

          please send us the replace battery or just check what is the exact problem.

            I have purchased Sony Ericsson Mobile K-530i on 28.10.08. On 1.10.09, I hv display problem and I submitted the phone with their Service Center in Rohini (Near M2K) vide WO/SE309RDC10977 dated 6.10.09. Today is 9.11.09, I have not received my Mobile back and nor any satisfactory reply from thier Service Centre. I have made several calls on [protected], every time they are giving same reply, "we have sent your mobile to chennai and you will get call back from our office within 24 hrs. but reget, one month has passed, I have not received any reply from them. Pls. advise

                I had bought a sony erricson f305 phone which soon developed problems with its screen. I gave it to repair workshop of sony ericsson at lajpat nagar , new delhi.

                The phone has been submitted on 22/8/2009 and since then i havnt got ma phone back. They claim that parts required to repair are short. how can that be ? That sony ericsson ..the company to who makes the phone is short of its parts?

                  i had purchase a mobile set(sony ericsson W580i) dated:-12/07/2008 from:-life style, shop no:-7, subham market complex, ram mandir squre, bhubaneswar, phone no:[protected], mob:-[protected].tin no:-[protected].after two months the hand set had some problem it was sorted out by sony ericsson customer service centre dated-20/09/2008 (case id:-20B[protected] again after four months the hand set had some problem it was sorted out once again by sony ericsson customer service centre dated:-18/03/2009(case id:-SEO[protected]) after second service i asked the customer service officer to change my hand set & issue a new hand set on its place, but they denied.& told that the problem will not occur again .Again after warrenty period on dated :-07/10/2009(case no:-SE309RBH11343) and charges for it was Rs. 306/-.After repair on the same day in the evening the hand set dead & not function, again i asked the customer service officer to change my hand set & issue a new hand set on its place, but once again they denied & told that i will be charged for what ever expenses occurs.

                  From date of purchase I m facing lot of trouble like network problem, memory problem, Handset hanging problem, etc. I have rectified above mention issue 3 to 5 times at near by service station. It get rectified those issue an again in period of 1 or 2 month I receive those problem. Now since guarantee / warranty period got over, service center are charging me around Rs.2000/-.
                  I m facing lots of trouble and I do not have any extra handset. Therefore I request you to do needful thing as soon as possible.

                    w 205 is not working ok with pc/ data cable as only file transfer mode. With so many complaints around it is surprising what Sony Ericcson is doing puting this type of half cooked product is just like pressing self destruct button.                     SE w205 is a waste and worst phone I have ever seen in Sony Ericsson product range..
                    sir with so many complaints regarding no sync with the pc suite, why is it that SE is not even concerned about it!!! and no replies at all!!!
                    i somewhere saw a solution to connect internet through w205...
                    that guy answered it as SE representative!!!

                    but that was of no use...he was mentioning to follow the steps:
                    settings>connectivity>USB
                    then to enable the pc mode to be visible!!!

                    but as i aproached the the USB screen...
                    the USB option was disabled...and gets only enabled only when the phone is connected to the computer directly using a wire!!!
                    and when connected...and selected USB...it automatically goes into file transfer mode!!!

                    then how am i supposed to use the pc mode to use internet on laptop through w205!!!

                    i've always used SE products and and always admired them...and never found any chance or possibility of poor service...but with this product...i've started to think otherwise...

                    the product is a big disappointment!!!
                    and with so many complaints...still no response/action from SE!!!
                    Sony Ericsson sucks... Don purchase mobiles of this hopeless brand... They don kno wat s engineering

                    sony ericsson / w205 — Repair or Refund

                    HI,
                    i bought sony w205 phone and after some month the phone died on me, not turning on.
                    i went to the service center to get it repaired , they checked it and sent it to repair in pune .
                    after 1 month my phone came from there and i went to collect it .
                    And what they said is the phone cannot be repaired and they also cannot provide a new phone or refund to me.
                    The phone is still under warranty , i left the phone there only and don't see any help to get this issue fixed.

                      Hi,

                      I have purchase Sony Ericsson W705 on 23-Oct-09 from Mobile Store in Rajkot, &

                      on 4-Nov-09 my call register was empty so i tried to open the Phone contact even dat was empty & phone was shutdown so tried to restart the phone but only the key pad was light up without display on the screen.

                      So i took the phone to my nearest authorised& certified Sony ericsson service center KAIZER Telecom-Navi Mumbai were i was been told that the mother Board is Faulty after trying to reload/upgrade the software.

                      I even went to Near by Mobile Store & asked them to replace my Phone by New one they agreed to do so once they received the DOA from SonyEricsson.

                      I am extremly diapointed & annoyed by this issue that the New High end phone fron Sonyericsson is getting fault winthin period of 12 days.

                      I insist to replace this phone instead of repairing.

                      only 4 month old mobile got mother board problem.given to authorised service centre,ranchi vide workorder no.SE09RTJ10816 on 9.9.09.no further response from centre.

                      Sony Ericsson w705 — did not get mobile in one month

                      sir i have given my handset for repairs to service centre of sony ericsson in lucknow sonic infotech centre and that was in warranty also, i have given my handset to them on 06th may 2011 and now its is near to a month they didnot provide me the same even they a talkig in a very rude manner,on 29th may 2011 they asked me to provide me the set i have given them 2 more days to solve the matter properly and i reached there on 31st may 2011 actually i work in bank of baroda and i dont take any leave because i am in cash branch and i have to take care of public then also according to them i reached there to get my handset first they said that they unfortunately have lost the battery of my handset and then they said that you dont have provided the backcover of the handset after looking to all these carelessness i have lodged the complaint to there service centre but still there are no serious efforts to recover my handset so i request you to please look into the matter and help me to recover my set with ease because it is creating mental tension to me

                        I bought Sony Ericsson F305 in Feb-09. After 3 months its connector was not working fine. than i Visited Sony ericsson service centre at Baroda. they just cleaned the connector and gave me back. this thing happened three times in last 2 months. last time when i visited the Sony service center before Diwali i asked him to "Pl . Change the connector" they refused to do so. and told me that when it will not work completely than we wil change it. After Diwali the connector stopped working and i went to the sevice centre and they opnned the mobile and told me that "According to our Warranty Policy the Litmus sticker is red so we can not change connector if you want to change than it will chargable "
                        I asked him that before Diwali i came here for it and asked you to change it, at that time you didn't change it. He replied me that "now According Our warrnty policy it not possible to change becuse its litmus sticker turns in to RED color so Its LIQUID DAMAGE".

                        Here My question is "How can a company trust on the very small Litmus sticker that Mobile phone is 100% or 50% or 25% Liquid"

                        They refused to make the complian sheet regrding this issue.

                        I bought sony ericsson W350i 5 months before ..Suddenly one day it got switched off and even audio speakers stopped working. I gave it to sony ericsson service centre in bangalore and they are saying my motherboard is burnt . so it doesnt come under warranty and they can not do anything. If motherboard is burnt what how can i be responsible for that. If they can not service means, why sony ericsson manufactures such a cheap quality product. Then why do they have a policy called warranty if they can not take it for servicing even. Totally unhappy with sony ericsson cheap products. Will never buy sony products and will suggest people not to by sony ericsson mobiles since they dont provide warranty

                          Dear Sir,

                          I have a Sony Cyber Shot DSC - T300 whose LCD display screen got damaged. I took the same to the SONY INDORE service center where they gave me a very high repairing cost of Rs. 12276 inclusive of all taxes for just repairing a LCD Screen. I denied to make such a high cost after which the service center said they will try and offer some discount for repairs. Later they communicated to me the cost to be Rs. 5997 inclusive of all taxes.

                          I dont know how they arrive at the cost of Rs 5,997 for repairs. Also, the calculation stated in the documents reveal the way they calculate is based on the total cost of the camera and some percentage was applied as a charge towards the repairs of the LCD screen and not the actual cost.

                          I feel that the service centers charge a cost based on their comforts. I communicated this concern to Sony head office & customer service greivence department but didn't get any solution. I finally had to pay Rs 5,997 to get my camera back. I still feel I have been cheated and charged a very high cost of repairs.
                          This has lead to so much stress and tension for me as all this follow up with Sony India started on 24th Oct 2009 till 3rd Nov 2009 when I didnt find a way to solve this issue.

                            I has been purchased on 04 Dec 2008 and two months running well than aftger create softwear problems.i.e display white, display red lines & white lines, incoming call numbers not display.

                            (a) Firstly I was goes to sony ericsson service centre at Sahid Nagar Bhubaneswar (Orissa) and briefing them that problems kept mobile 15 days than after return same problem. Not OK

                            (b) Secondly I was goes to sony ericsson service centre at Bapuji Nagar, Bhubaneswar (orissa) 20 days kept my mobile and return. Not OK.

                                  i have purchased my phone on 15/05/2009 from "lotus vishala area dewas road ujjain (M.P) and after the 10 day's the problem were occured in the phone the problem is "when the phone is idel for 2-3 hours then at this time the phone is showing off to the caller and when one outoing is made then the phone is on " i told this to the service center after 10 days and they told to udate the software for this problem and i can update software 3 times and after this the problem is not solved the can suggest to replace a motherboard they can replace the motherboard 3 times but the problem was not solved at till.
                                  the 5 months are spent in all this procedure and i can not use the phone after the purchase only 10 days
                                  i can use a phone last i have give a phone on 19 sep 2009 and till i can not got my phone and the service center owner told 2-3 days after every 2-3 days and till today 31 oct 2009 i can not got my phone the service center owner give an commitment for replace a phone but they con not give any response to me
                                  and i have complained to sony ericsson company but they also not given an satisfactory response so i want to replace a the defected phone please advice and take an action against the service center and company

                                      I have a complaint for "Sony Ericson" Services center.
                                      Its very poor service provider company.
                                      They have 3 service center in Mumbai.
                                      I have visited Vikroli Branch Service center (RT Out sourcing).
                                      They dont have proper process, proper customer service executive even.
                                      I have given my K810i set for Key Foil change.They have kept it for around 9 days & during that 9 days i have visited that service center around 3 times. Every time i got message that tomorrow you will get your cell repaired. One more thing they never picked up the phone there. I tried around 100 times.
                                      I have talk to the manager (Mr. Kulin Vora) & complaint him regarding that. But they are used to for that.
                                      I was not alone there who is suffering like this..
                                      All other customer around me having a same pain.. some are deposited their cell aournd 30 to 40 days & when are are asked to collect cell phones.. the cell phone is not repaired...
                                      Its a worst service i have seen in my life..
                                      I dont know how the Sony ericson is doing business in india.. with this POOR SERVICES.

                                        me that Sony Ericsson will surely change my pre-defected handset Module with a new Box Packed Sony Ericsson
                                        F305 I told him about my problem for my handset. I recently register and submitt my handset for a Display and Emergent
                                        switch ON/OFF problem.I wrote an e-mail regarding the bad and non-responsible customer support of Sony Ericsson to Mr.
                                        Deepak (RTEServices)..
                                        Mr. Deepak Kak (RTEServices) have been told me the actual aspect about their Customer Support. He commit me to deliver a Box
                                        Packed Sony Ericsson F305 as i have been mentioned in my previous E-mail. But now again the question is about your fake
                                        commitments. The certified Service Centre at Rohtak City (Swastik Systems) is not delivering me any Box Packed. The Service
                                        prefessional doesn't have any information regarding your fake commitment.They told me clearly that they are not gonno deliver

                                        What a miss-Syncronization you guys have in your own team.
                                        Interesting is that, even the developers dn't know what they had been embeded in their Mobile Device.
                                        The Award winning Technical Support and CSE is playing Blame game with their customers.
                                        You guys just believe in selling mobile device instead of maintainning the CSE and Better Service facilites.
                                        Now the Senior Personnals Starts proning the fake commitments.

                                        Your support is just like a freek, a bunch of crooks. Mr. Deepak said something but Service Centre doesn't maintain
                                        type o[censored]pdated info about my Box Packed Sony Ericsson F305. I already submitt my handset and i am not gonno
                                        collect that piece of junk from there anywhere.
                                        Whatever a legel terms and conditions said, in terms of Application. I done that, i send an application E-mail, Got fake feedback
                                        and your roll-on statements. I just want all my JobeSheets history from that Service Centre at rohtak including all my service details,
                                        parts found defected, Service Crieteria, and Specially how many times you guyz have been changed and reparied that handset from
                                        the vary first day of my purchasing that bloody mobile Device.
                                        That service presonnal Staff doesn't providing me any feedback according to your statements. hopefully you CSE will provide me the Service
                                        Detail history of my Sony Ericsson F305. Now i don't think so anybody could help me in your Entire Organisation Sony Ericsson.
                                        So i think Mr. Deepak, its much better to seek some legal aspect for my Money, Time, Resources and intention that i paid for your non-sense CSE and servicing facilities instead of requesting to your Company.
                                        I try to contact many professionals in Sony Ericsson (RTEServices) but thry are ignoring my issue and just chilling out.
                                        I think Sony Ericsson likely to be inquired by a Consumer Forum Board rather than inquiring a Customer.

                                        Sony Ericsson F305 — Frequent dousing mode

                                        I too have a problem. It doesn't recieve calls if left unused for some time say 4 to 5 hours. This problem persist mostly In the mornings becuase the phone is not used at nights. Service centere Kizer electronics reloaded the software but still the problem persist. Now they say I need to leave the phone for 10 to 15 days to send it to the company. How will I manage without phone in this period. Wrote to company but no resposnse from them.

                                        My name is Chaman kishor I'm using Soney ericsson f-305. It's only two months to purchaged that handset and i'm having lots of problem on that set. After that I submited that set on Soney ericsson service centere at Laxmi Nagar on 4-sep.-2009. with work out no. SE309VSV11837.
                                        They gave me five days to collect that handset but when I talked to Inderjeet Singh there who sit at front desk he continusily gave me more and more days to come for collecting that set. It's now 14-sep.-2009 and they'r saying me to wait more ten to fifteen days. This is my first time expericence when I purchaged Soney ericsson set and its very bad experience of mine.
                                        I just want to see your attention on this.
                                        I hope you'll take personal interest to look in to this matter.

                                        Incoming caller gets message that the phone is off, even my phone is on and has full network.
                                        I got my phone's software change. Problem still persisted. The sevice center in ahmedabad then sent the phone to delhi for further check. I got it back after 20 days with its main board changed. Still the problem persists. I think this is a major problem. Sony should take this phone out of the market and give refund to all those facing this problem!
                                        Its must be changed.with another model...!!!.as per user opiniion...as he used the model for 11 months...!!!

                                        I had submitted a My phone, model no. f305 sony ericsson Care center at Gariahat on 4/09/09.. The phone was under warranty at the time of submission to that service center. The problem with the handset was that the LCD display was getting 'frozen' or stuck and the display was not refreshed.

                                        Ask the SOny Ericsson to provide you a replacement as per ur choice neither dnt leave them alone.
                                        Sony Erisson provided a replacemnt to abhishek with c510 but that's also used...what is this man.

                                        since purchase i have faced the poormost phone i have ever bought.I bought it as a gift for my wife on 8.5.09 but from the next day become defective for hanging & screen scramble problems.From the shop - 'planet m' mall road kanpur where i have got it, is now closed. Phone is still at sony repair tcentre,swaroop nagar,kanpur thr' planet m rep whjm i could find hardly. no one is listening. phone is fourth time submitted for repair. what is the policy of planet m or sony erricsson I donot know but I am suffering.My gift has become a curse for me.i hardly could use the phone for 15 days in last six months. i purchased it for 8000 rs and present cost also down to 6200 rs so no resale option is for me.as per service centre once they changed the internal system.I request company should replace the set with some better otherwise i wnt to complain at consumer forum.
