Dear Sir,

I purchased G900 handset of Sony Ericsson on 18/04/2009, within three month o[censored]se i faced problem of TOUCH SCREEN NOT WORKING on 28/06/2009 and i submitted the same in Authorised service center.

After continous follow ups i got it repaired on 12/07/2009.

On 16/07/2009 angain i faced problem of HAND SET GETTING HANGED. on 17/07/2009 again i submitted the same at authorised cervice center.

There is no reply of my mails from sony ericsson, the call center persons are not even ready to provide Sony Ericssons India Head Office Address also.

I need my money back as this is defective product having quality problem.

Please guide me in this matter.

I bought sony ericsson w705 mobile phone for Rs.16, 000 on june 10, 2009.
The phone had poor picture and sound quality when i bought it and then on september 9, 2009 it stopped working.
I took it to the service station at haji ali and i was told that the phone will not be covered under warranty as it was damaged by liquid.On asking them what they meant, they said that the phone was damaged due to my sweat.
I feel that it is an absurd proposition since a phone is not supposed to get spoilt by sweat.And its only a few keys on the keyboard that arnt working.
After fighting for 3 days, i finally agreed to get my phone repaired by paying for it.The cost told to me as Rs.850 and i was to collect my phone after 3 days.
I called the service station after 3 days and was told that the cost would be Rs.1755 now.
I was not even informed about it.
I refused to pay since if that is the problem, the phone is going to keep getting spoilt over and over again.
The staff is obnoxiously rude and when i asked them for the address of the head office or any senior authority i was very rudely denied the same.
I sent an e-mail to the e-mail id that i got from their helpline number and got no response.
The phone has been with the service station for over 15 days now.
The are denying me my right of knowing the registered office address of a company from which i bought an expensive phone in good faith.
I am receiving no support from the company whatsoever and many a times they dont receive my calls.
I am disgusted with the after sale service and the company alltogether.
I really need help and fast.

    With ref to the subject matter, for your kind information I have recently purchased (15th Jun 09) Vaio Z 46, serial nos.7000826 & To my utter surprice After using it for just 3-4 hours only, I found problem in workmanship on a top end sony machine which is costing Rs 1, 00, 000, my detailed comments is as under,

    1.I noticed Damaged mark on left hand side of Hinge due to LCD screen bruishing while opening & closin
    2.It was even shown to Your Mr. Sunil & he also acknowledged the problem on LCD screen bruishing
    3.I have further noticed that now one more mark has also appeared on the right hand side of same Hinge

    I am following up with Mr. Sunil / Setpal of SONY[protected] via phone calls & emails (allwyn.[protected]@ap.sony.com & CC: sonyindia.[protected]@ap.sony.com) since last 15-20 days, but unable to get any reply. Request you to help us.

      OUR SONY ERICSSON HANDSET W5801 HAS BEEN GIVEN TO REPAIR IN THE ABOVE SERVICE STATION ON 5 JUNE 2009 AND THE REPAIR WAS TO BE COMPLETED IN 15 DAYS. OUR JOB SHEET NO. IS 4385. THE REPAIR WAS OF REPLACEMENT OF HINGES. BUT TILL DATE I.E. TILL 28 JULY WE AREN'T GETTING SATISFACTORY REPLIES NEITHER THE CONDITION OF OUR HANDSET.             Dear Sir/Madam

            I bought Sony Erricsson K530i mobile on 25th February 2009. Since i have purchase it got to repaired 2 times. Still it is not working. Again it is with sony erricsson service center for repair. They also not giving proper response. Since i have purchase it aporx. 2 month it is with service centre only for repair. Within 6 month this mobile had same problem. I am not sure whether in future it will give good performence.
            I also inform to Sony Erricsson compnay through e-mail.

            The Complint ID is 78300378 & 110265. I just fed up with this phone. I want replacement with new mobile.

            Sir, please looks into the matter and do the needful.

            i had purchased now cell phone on 16 march 2008. within 3 months it stopped working. i was told it was water infected but was repaired. but 3 days ago again it stopped working and now i got answer no replacement no repairing. what should i do ?

              Hi,

              I purchased a Sony erricson mobile W580i from one of your Sony-erricson outlet in Gurgaon, Jumbo Electronics Corp., Ambience Mall on 25/03/2009, Invoice no : #12925.

              Unfortunately I lost my mobile phone on 23th July, 2009 Morning around 8. A.M. I have asked the cellular provider "Airtel" to block the services for the mobile number +91-[protected] and that services for that phone number have been barred.

              I called Sony erricson customer care to please block my mobile phone with following details :

              Sony Erricson : W 580i ( Black Body)

              but It was really shocking to hear that they couldnt provide any assistance for the request.

              I have filled an FIR against the lost mobile phone. I would request Sony -erricson to please block this mobile phone with IMEM details mentioned above immediately.

                I could not find the link to download in www.sony-asia.com website. so i called up Sony care, they told me to get in touch with Sony Service center.                   Our Sony Vega Television had a problem of snow on it. We called the
                  sony service center in jalandhar. Two persons, Mr. Raju and Mr. Ashok
                  came to repair it.. They said the tuner is not working properly..They
                  took the whole board with them.. Next day they came and said they have
                  replaced the part..On being asked, they had no proof of replacing the
                  part and on demanding the old part, they could not even produce that..
                  They fitted the whole board in the tv and switched it on.. The tv had
                  worse performance than before.. They told to check another tv on the
                  same point.. We did so and everything there was working properly. But
                  they kept reiterating that another tv is not a proof of the same..
                  Then they started arguing and then they said the words, ' You just
                  want to embezzle the money of the company' which was indirect hint of
                  calling us thief. All this led to a big argument and they started
                  fighting over there point but could not provide even a single proof of
                  changing the part...And they could not even prove that they have
                  repaired it as the tv was not working properly...All this led to a big
                  scene in the house..And they were indifferent about it...


                  We had to experience a lot of mental agony because of them.. There
                  statement of embezzling the money of the company was really a great
                  trauma..Moreover, there actions has made our television even worse and
                  the money Rs. 25000 spent on tv seems to have been sunk..If the mental
                  trauma is explicited in terms of money, then the cost is phenomenal..
                  Moreover, they have even spoiled the on/off switch and we are unable
                  to even switch it on..So we demand rightful justice of the same and
                  also the complete replacement of the television set as well as
                  compensation for what we have gone through..

                  Note: The same email has also been sent to Sony headquarters, consumer
                  affairs center email and government authorities and we are taking
                  strict lawful actions against the act.

                    After two days i marked that my mobile has some problem of :-
                    1). Battery Bad Performance.

                    Next day they upgrade my software and for keypad light problem they advised me to go to authorised Service Centre of sony erricssion

                    At that i have made 4 complaints against my mobile-
                    1) keypad light problem
                    2) camera picture was not fine
                    3) set hanging during slide show
                    4) USB was not connected prperly.

                    As the result they have rectified just my keypad light problem and for the rest problems they have told me that the particular camera flex parts was allready damaged and at that time they have not that parts so he advised me to use the cellphone and to contact them periodically for further information about the avalability of the aforesaid parts to recovery of my mobile.
                    i have dailed them for many times but i have not got the proper response from customer care centre, they have just given me a sympathically talks that whenever we will get the parts we will replace it.but after a long span of time when i have not got any
                    response from them .lastly i became depressed about my mobile and again i went there and login the problems on dated 13th july 2009 as follows:-
                    1) Ear speaker problem.
                    2) system connector related problem.
                    3) Other camera / video/ picture problem
                    4) saved picture quality not good.

                    I feel that they are harashing me and as i am a central govt. defence employee i have not sufficient time to run your customer care centre.So lastly i am putting my words to you for your information in details and i expect some desicion from your side about my mobile problem.So if possible change my handset as soon as possible as i have puzzled with my mobile from the time of purchasing.

                    Sony Ericsson / S302 — Please REPLACE HANDSET FROM SONY SHOPE

                    I Know Sony ericson company is very good. But why they made S302 mobile phone and why its why its price so high and why this phone cant accept any themes and why its clearity of camera is not good than any other similar price mobile and why mobile hanging and why speaker volume is very low and why couldn't got USB cod with phone and why why why why why. They made this phone outside beautyfull but why nothing beautyfull inside why why why why why. All S302 user's are not happy with this phone. Actully we lost our money and our dreams of mobile. What kind of our dreams or what exceptation from this phone that is incomplet. Sony Ericson company should replace this phone. Or we should resale this phone in low price. I know sony company cant replace with this phone but Sony ericson company dont know their lost their too many customer. In India we will never buy any sony product. Thanks Sony ericson Branded company of China.

                    sony S 302 — SERVICING PROBLEM

                    I NIKHIL SHARMA USING SONY HANDSET S-302 IS BEING FACING PROBLEM FROM THE PAST TWO MONTHS MY HAND SET HAS BEEN SEND FOR SERVICING FOR THREE TIMES BUT THERE IS NO SOLUTION AS SUCH TILL NOW.

                    FOR THE PAST ONE MONTH MY HANDSET IS IN SERVICE CENTRE AND I HAVE NOT BEEN GIVEN ANY INFORMATION REGARDING THE CURRENT STATUS OF MY HANDSET ALTHOUGH I HAD ALREADY COMPLAIN CUSTOMER CARE TWICE AT TIMES. HAD VISITED SERVICE CENTRE MORE THEN 8 TO 10 TIMES WASTING MY TIME AND MONEY.

                    NOW I JUST WANT MY HANDSET TO BE SWAPPED WITH A NEW ONE AS THE SAME HAS BEEN SEND THRICE FOR SERVICES WITHIN GURANTEE PERIOD ONCE MOTHER BOARD HAS BEEN REPLACED BUT STILL THERE IS PROBLEM IN THE HANDSET ELSE I HAD TO LOGED A COMPLAIN IN CONSUMER FORUM .

                        This is a complaint about the Hot Spot mobile store at Community Centre, Janak Puri, Delhi.

                        My name is Rattandeep Singh Jolly and I am a System Administrator In BPO. Want to tell the harrasment which I am facing from the hot spot mobile store. I have purchased a Mobile MakeSony, model no. W-700i, Service Book no.1392 or Job Sheet no. 011 and also took a Care Pack (kind of insurance) from them in the month of April' 08.

                        In the month of June I faced a problem in the mobile that my set joystick is not working properly, Camera Not Working Properly & Charging Jack Problem so I took the mobile to the same
                        (Janakpuri, Delhi) hot spot as I was told at the time of purchase that as I have took the Care Pack if I face any problem in the mobile I will directly approach to this outlet of hot spot.

                        The guy at the center says that they need to send it to the service center based at
                        (Lajpat Nagar-2, Delhi) and they submitted the mobileon[protected].

                        This entire procedure took 14days and they send the mobile set back to the service center at
                        Lajpat Ngr-2, New Delhi.

                        After confirming with customercare No[protected] Its Executive Mr. Rahul says that again the same problem is occuring in the mobile set so he need to set again to the service center. after 2-3 days he will return my mobile. m says ok plz that time plz complete solution of ma mobile.

                        After 2-3 days m calling again rahul receive the phone & say sir plz tell me the last 5 digits of mobile IMEI No . i tell him this this no he says rattan ur mobile still not working m saying sir plz tell me what is the actual date that me mobile is working & ( he says aapko bola hai na ek bari abhi nahi theek huaa, to kya batau) he speak with me vry rudely.

                        This guy doesn't have any status and was arguing that they are providing the service.

                        I don't know what kind of services he is talking about, Does it take 25 days to upgrade the software & Change Charging Jack in the mobile?

                        Then M Going To (HotSpot, JanakPuri Center) on[protected] he says sir ur mobile is ready plz wait for a minute aapka mobila lata hu . M saying ok he show me my mobile & i says dikhaao then ma mobile is in hand m seeing My Mobile Break Frm 2 Side One Is frm Back Panel & Other is frm Screw point site
                        i show ma mobile to executive then he says sir ur mobile already in that position we are not responsible frm that issue. I m Speak him to vry Loudly & Rudely ( KI meh Abhi Police meh Complaint karta hu vahi bataye gaye ki kisne kiya hai aisa or ek mail consumer court meh karta hu to tabhi unho ne Apne S.C me phone karke pucha to unhane bataya ki hum iski responsibility nahi lege, tabhi maine Kaha ki MR.PUNEET se puchiyee unho ne slip banai thee. to unho ne bataya ki that time phone body is in ok position. ab batao meri kyaa galti to unho ne kaha ki Sir, Plz I realised My Mistake that ur mobile is damaged, & he says me Sir Plz wait For Monday I will confirm to ur mobile position

                        M not Receive My Mobile Frm Janakpuri, Delhi

                        I am totally frustated on their services.

                          I am having a Sony Vaio Laptop Model VGN-CS15GN/B bearing serial No. 7001419.
                          The machine is within Guarantee Period.
                          Its charging chord has become defective. I took the machine to the Sony Vaio Service Centre at
                          Nehru Place, New Delhi on 21st July '09 but the gentleman sitting there refused to attend the machine on pretext that the Serial No. shall be confirmed by them next day. Only then the machine would be attended.I requested them to attend the machine as I had to leave the next day evening. They
                          even refused to register my complaint and promised to call next day after confirmation of the serial No.
                          Fortunately I was carrying the guarantee card etc all with me which I showed them but they
                          said in case of Sony Vaio more than one machine can have the same Serial No. Strange!

                          The next day I did not receive any call from the service centre and I came back to my City Jabalpur.
                          SHAME SHAME!

                          The chord costs merely 800/- which the company does not wants to save.I realised that it is
                          better to purchase the same from open market.

                          I would like to quote an incident recently a senior official of our Deptt. faced a problem with HP laptop abroad which did not have international guarantee, but the company immediately rectified the machine
                          without any querry, based on the Serial No. only.

                            I have purchased a sony TV costing Rs 52000 from Sony center Sector 18, Noida on 29th Apr 09, which was installed in my house no H-1 Sector 41 on 02nd May, Since last one month TV is not working, I have give multiple complaint to service center as well as to my dealer after lot of request they attended my complaint on 16th July stating that the Mother board is required to be changed. If in a new TV mother board is changed, then the whole purpose of buying new TV is gone. Since the TV being in Warranty period, it is requested to change the TV as early as possible

                              There must be provision or centralized agency who can offer to resolve this problem, this also attract to unwanted crime which effect to economy. in this case this is very important to understand this requirement.

                              We can reduced the Crime if we have such type system in place

                                I had bought a Sony Erricson W580i mobile phone 8 months ago by paying 9900/- Rs, some day ago my display were not working properly. It had free warranty of 1 year, so i took it to a Sony authorised service centre on 26/06/2009 named Rashi Mobile, Millenium Plaza, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. They took my handset and said that they have to send this handset to bhopal (M.P.) for reparing, after 15 days (14/06/2009) when i call service center phone number, i'm shocked coz service center representitive said that my mobile's disply had a water damage and it's not under warranty, but my cellphone does't have any water damage or breakage damage ever, after that she told me that when her boss come and he will only decide that what to do with my sony 580i cellphone.

                                After 2 day i again called sony service center and i told him about my problem, her boss (service center owner) assured me that my mobile is under warranty and they have to repair it without any extra cost, after that whenever i'm trying to contact service center owner named Mr. prajapati, he said tomorrow your handset will be ready, again i make a call again he said day after tomorrow your handset will be ready after that they did not respond to my calls & visits.

                                Yesterday i went to service center again, service center owner said that tomorrow my handset will be in my hand without any problem. today when i went to service center, service center guy told me that my handset is not repaired because they don'v have new display for my handset. my question is that, if they don't have new display in there stock before why they misguiding the customer, if they didn't have display why they didn't gave my handset without repair on 14/06/2009??

                                i gave my handset on 26/06/2009 and got my handset after almost after in a month on 21/07/2009 today *unrepaired*. This is a clear case of cheating, negligence. it's giving mental harassment to customer.I'll bring this issue to consumer forum as soon as possible, they think customer are fool but they don't know what a customer can do. Sony ericsson not gave me this phone free of cast, i had to pay 9990/- INR for purchasing that phone.

                                I have decided not to purchase any more Sony products here after. Better to avoid the problem (not to buy their product). that's why nokia is leading the market coz his product and services are best in india. i'm fade up with Sony ericsson really.

                                I would also like you to look into the rampant corruption in your service centres where the sole objective seems to collect the service charges and harass the customers. I wish to escalate this matter to the highest authorities.

                                Sony Ericsson Mobile — after no of repairing and charging Rs.3400.00 still the phone is not functioning,

                                I got a mobile for Rs.8600.00 of sony erricson company on date -04.05.10.In the last month it got damaged by rain water, as after liquid damage i can not avail the warranty though the mobile set is still on warranty. so I rush to the neaerest customer care of sony erricson at Bhubaneswar and handed over the set to them the returned it to me near about after a month on 25.08.10 and charges Rs.2800.00 ( CASE ID SPM 885) still the camara and the FM was not working as the part are not available with them, i compormised with that and get back the hand set and after another month the mobile got the charging problem and again i rush to them and handed over them and get back that on 28.09.10 ( CASE ID SPM 1217) and the mechanic replaced the charger set and charged me rs.600.00. when i returned to home i found it faulty as the battery was jammed and the memory chips can not be insert to it so again i visited to them they made some repair and handed over the phone to me saying it will keep charge thoug the blinking procedure when charging will not display , after my arrival to home again i found that the battery was not keeping charge so again i have to rush to the customer care he charged the batter by their machine and told that it was fully dry so it can not be charged in home but still after my arrival to my home i found that though the phone keeps chargs it is only upto 74 % not full secondly it took more than 8 hours to charges. now i mean to say that the mechanic is do not know anything or they used duplicate parts and does not take the customer complains seriously they used to play with them. if he knows the thing he could have make the phone at least for the normal use i.e chargin and talking even if i compormise with the camera and the FM. i have alrady visited the customer care five times still i am not satisfied with them. in this connection i also contacted with their customer care toll free no and registered a complain but all invain. so should i have to pay another 8600/- for the repair of the phone if they can not repair it why they charged for it in the 3400/- i could have purchased a phone . now i request to get back that 3400/- with a condition that they may remove the part they used for the repir bacause if the phone does not works there is no value of the parts of their customer care.i feel like i have been cheeted by the company and their customer care. so i request for a solution please.
                                i agree with the complaints reagarding the customer care they are just bias the customer and not taking the customers complaints seriously.

                                  I bought a Sony digital camera from Croma Store Bangalore and took loan of around 7 k .I opted for 6 months EMI and paid the emi i.e(Rs 1234 per month) for 6 months and now the Bajaj finance guys are bothering me and saying that i opted for the 8 months emi and 2 months EMI is pending from my side.

                                    Sony Ericsson P1i — sound volume less

                                    i bought a phone of this model just a week back, the volume of this set is very less. Even a mobile bought for Rs. 3000/= of sony ericson itself is louder. I bought it at Madurai,
                                    Tamilnadu, India, from subiksha dealer. I asked from the dealer to compare the sound volume with another unit of the same model. He replied they have no spare for this. He asked me to reach ther service centre. I visited the service center at north veli street, simmakkal, Madurai, and asked for a unit to compare the sound volume. to my surprise the person there aked me to get a set from some one else and compare. Also he replied the sound volume is as per design it is low. I am shocked by the indifferent attitude of the dealer and service center. I need a replacement of this phone as it is a manufacturing fault.

                                    P1i — Software Problems

                                    I have purchased P1i business phone 4 months back.I supposed to work smoothly but to my surprise iam facing many problems:
                                    1) handsfree is faulty.
                                    2) Software in the phone got corrupted
                                    3) Mobile network is weak.The phone loses network very fast.
                                    The service centre here are not very qualified.Can anyone assit me in solving my queries?

                                      i have pur a w595 which have a lot of problems.
                                      1. firstly i have synchronization problem with computer dated[protected]
                                      at this date i was deposit my phone in sonycare Rohtak.

                                      My handset is given for repairs on 15.10.2009. Till date my handset is still under repair. Sony Ericsson service centres are flooded with too many complaints hence are not able to service my handset even after 16 days of time. Not to buy any of Sony Ericsson products due to very very poor service network. My Workorder no is SE309SG113148 Dt. 15.10.2009.

                                        My phone which is sony ericsson k530i was getting switch off on its own. I gave it to the service center at tardeo on 3/07/09 and its 19/07/09 but they are saying it will take more time. My cell fon is still in warranty period, but i dont understand what the use of that. I am not getting any advantage of having the warranty. What the hell is this???? Who is the person whom i can contact and complain about it?????????? I dont have time to go and visit the service center daily for the status of my phone. Please any one do some thing.

                                        i submitted the phone on 30th aug they said me u got ur phone on 20th sep but its 30 sep not yet recived they sent phone to head office for hardware replacemaint but till date not dispatch from head office its 1 month over there is no status of my phone

                                        i bought sony ericsson mobile k530i on 27 sep.2008 .after that on 19 march2009 igot problem with my handset that it completely dead .aftr that i submited the handset in A.V.INFOSYSTEM in ALIGARH.i got my hand set on13 april .but another problem is created that it automatically switched off.so i resubmited the handset to the same service center on14 april.till now they are unable to dipatch my handset.due to this i am facing many problem.plz take action against this firm.

                                        i ashok ahuja from ludhiana purchased sony ericsson k530i handset on 9th june, 2008 from CLASSIC GISTS, GHUMAR MANDI and it suddenly started creating prblem from last month and suddenly stopped working and when i gave my grevience to the serviceman of classic gifts, he told me to take it to the service station. then i went to the service station and told them about my problem. but now they are giving false statements, that the mobile has been washed out in water tht's why it has stopped working. but we are claiming that it has stopped working without any fault of ours . so they are creating problems for me. so kindly look into the matter and do the needful. orotherwise i have to take the help of the consumer court. so kindly pay attention to the matter. and the refreence no. given by the service station is - "seo[protected]"

                                        Sony Ericsson K530i — Bad response from service center

                                        Hi,

                                        My phone's display was damaged due liquid spilling over it. I gave it to repair in one of the autohrized service center in Mumbai RT OUTSOURCING. Its been more than 45 days, i have not received the phone yet. They tried to fool me by giving the different phone first as they have messed up with my cell. But the cell which they gave is also not working and it very old handset. I have logged a complaint with SONY ERICSSON, India for the same. When they contacted service center, they that phone is ready and i can take it from the service center. But when i called the service the person over there says that the phone is not ready still. They are lying to me and SONY ERICSSON Call Center.

                                        Please help.

                                        As i have submitted my handset K530 i reciept no.se oo[protected] on the shivansh communication authorised service centre sony eriction Agra on 26th june 2009 i.e. in warantee period & as per the commitment I was suppose to recieve the hand set on 13 th july 2009 but till dat I have not received the handset with respect to that I had diposited the Handsfree model No. HPM 64 SE [protected] reciept no. of service centre againest which i had login complain in customer care on 15th july with the complain ID 78390923 & 78391041 respectively but still I have not received any concrete answer.

                                        I had K530i (sony ericsson) and it was not worked proper so i tell about it sony ericsson service center and they told me that your phone has some problem and it not getting working properly. I have given my phone as on 27.06.2009 and they give me time of two weeks and it will be two months. When I call custmer care they tell me that your phone is on process so please help me.
