Recently I bought a W205 mobile at the mobile stores (on September 6th 2009). After 3 days I started facing problems of slow operations. I felt it might be a software problem. On Sep 23rd my mobile display turned white. I immediately contacted the customer care and was directed to a service center in Chennai. I informed the service center guys about the white display problem. They told me that it was a software problem and the phone required reinstallation of software.
They asked me to give the phone and collect it the next day. As I was aware that software re installation takes just ten minutes, I told them I would wait for some time and right away collect the mobile. But the service center guys informed that me that there was a power cut and asked me to collect it the next day. They prepared a job sheet for the mobile. The next day when I went to collect the mobile, they told me that the display is damaged. I was surprised. I asked them how that could have happened. They said that I might have dropped the mobile.
I told them that I had not dropped the mobile even once. Had the mobile been dropped there would been external damages, at least a scratch. But there was not even a single scratch or external damage to the mobile. Also, I asked them why they didn’t check the status of the mobile before preparing the job sheet. They started evading the questions.
I am really wondering how a mobile just 3 weeks old could have a software problem and a white display. Now to address the problem, the possibilities are either the mobile I got must be a defective piece or the service center must have been done unprofessional work. I kindly request you to look into this issue and get the problem resolved at the earliest.

sony ericsson F305 mobile phone — poor working of phone
I have purchased above slider mobile phone for rs.7992 /- (Looking too higher to market price??)from Planet M,158,ground Floor,the Mall,Kanpur on 7.5.2009 to gift the same to my wife on my wedding anniversary.On the very next day my phone become defective and its screen became green &shiny and phone become hanged.I have shown the phone to shop & it was repaired and given back after few days.
After a month again same problem happened and again I have given that to shop and again it was returned after few days being corrected.
Now third time last week same problem happened and I went back to Planet m and again deposited the Phone.
It is very embarassing for me that a gifted phone has to be shown to shop how many times? If this phone was not correcte the same should be replaced immediately being two years warranty.It seems that this phone has some manufacturing defect and I am suffering for four months unnecessarily.
It kills my interest for that phone and I want that it should be taken back by the shop and must be replaced or upgraded with some better phone w.r.t.its sold price as current price is shown at show room is rs.6492/- to considering the problems faced by me and the user as it has become a worst gift.
However present dealing of store I/C is helping but proper solution is still awaited.
Hoping for a favourable action to maintain faith in your stores please.
