Dear Sir/Madam
I have purchased a Sony Ericsson mobile model no. F305 on dtd 04.03.2009 from Cell Mart Bhubaneswar. The IMEI no is [protected]. After purchasing of mobile I found some technical defects. So I booked the cell at your authorized service station on dtd. 11/07/2009. The Job card prepared at the service station is SE309SPS10236. The main problem is display problem and problem at the Music speaker. But already two months gone till yet it has not been returned back to me. Everyday I am going to the service station but they are always saying that the parts is not available. I want to know when I will return back my cell. My contact no is [protected]. If I will not get confirmation regarding the return of my cell within two days then I will file consumer case against the company and service center.

    hi sir,
    This is to inform you,
    I purchased sony ercsson K660i in january2009 and it stopped working after sometime due to technical problems. I gave that for repairing on 2 sep 2009 at sony ericsson's service centre 523-A Ambedkar road Ghaziabad, i have given that 4 times before also but no result came out. I haven't got it till now.its imei no-[protected]. you are requested to take further step regarding this problem.

      mobile phone model sony ericsson f305 perchased vide bill no[protected] dated 27 jan 2009.
      above sighted mobile phone purchased in January 2009, is not working properly. The same was given for repairs previously which had taken 1 month for repairing causing heavy losses, mental agony and harrassment.after the repairs phone was not working properly. Same was shown at your office and was informed that phone needs repairing again. Now again I am without a mobile phone which is causing huge loss, total cut off from communication.
      Please note that this kind of substandard non sale worthy product which cannot be repaired to my satisfaction and that it should work at least for some time. Under the circumstances I have no option but to claim damages .regret to inform that I had bought this mobile phone for the reputation standards and world fame name Sony, but feel cheated by purchasing this substandard quality product model .Please look into the matter and provide me a new working phone which can work at the earliest. So that I could be able to do my work uninteruptly. Please note that the phone is still under repair as on date i.e. 30/09/09.

      sony ericsson F305 mobile phone — poor working of phone

      I have purchased above slider mobile phone for rs.7992 /- (Looking too higher to market price??)from Planet M,158,ground Floor,the Mall,Kanpur on 7.5.2009 to gift the same to my wife on my wedding anniversary.
      On the very next day my phone become defective and its screen became green &shiny and phone become hanged.I have shown the phone to shop & it was repaired and given back after few days.
      After a month again same problem happened and again I have given that to shop and again it was returned after few days being corrected.
      Now third time last week same problem happened and I went back to Planet m and again deposited the Phone.
      It is very embarassing for me that a gifted phone has to be shown to shop how many times? If this phone was not correcte the same should be replaced immediately being two years warranty.It seems that this phone has some manufacturing defect and I am suffering for four months unnecessarily.
      It kills my interest for that phone and I want that it should be taken back by the shop and must be replaced or upgraded with some better phone w.r.t.its sold price as current price is shown at show room is rs.6492/- to considering the problems faced by me and the user as it has become a worst gift.
      However present dealing of store I/C is helping but proper solution is still awaited.
      Hoping for a favourable action to maintain faith in your stores please.

      I BOUGHT SONY ERICCSION F-305 BOFORE HALF YEAR BACK DURING FREE SERVICE PERIOD I GOT PROBLEM IN DISPLAY . I APPROCHED SONY ERICISSION SERVICE CENTRE IN NEW DELHI BALAJI TELE SERVICE ,AVTAR ENCLAVE, PASCHIM VIHAR IN DELHI -63. I RAGISTERED A COMPLAINT ON 19-08-09, MY WORK ORDER NUMBER IS SE309BTS11509.

      the f305 cell is very poor for display resolution.thats no intrest for seing the pictures.cell camera clearity is good but display is very por.

        sir,
        i purchased a sony eriricson mobile from one of the dealers in alwarthirunagar, chennai, bearing the name of asian network. after three months my cell phone got repaired, and i approached the same person for the warranty claim. only after this i came to know that the sony erricson declined my handset claiming that it was not manufactured by their company and that i am not eliglible for any warranty claims. then again i approached the person from where i purchased the mobile. but till date he has shown deaf ears to my complaints. in this regard i would like to know how am i suppose to proceed to seek justice.

          I have been using a Sony Ericsson Bluetooth Headset HBH DS 200 for nearly 2 years and now, the battery does not hold charge for more than 2-3 hours (initially it was 5-6 hours). I wish to replace the battery. I contacted the company through their customer support email id and they instructed me to get in touch with 2 service centres in the suburbs of Bombay. I contacted the centres and information given to me ranged from: (a) deposit your headset for repair - if in warranty, it will be done free or estimate charge of Rs. 500 would be levied. I tried explaining to them that it was a rechargeable cell that needed to be replaced (like any other rechargeable cell) and the headset was working fine. (b) The battery cannot be replaced...meaning one has to throw a headset costing Rs. 3,300 into the drain after using it for less than 2 years.

          I don't know whom to approach as the Service Centres are run by fools who don't even know what they are talking about. If the battery is not user replaceable, then Sony Ericsson needs to mention that very clearly and upfront.

          Five month back I borught Sony Ericson J105i Naite cell phone for Rs7800 . Now the cell phone also not working and battery as well. They are not replacing my battery. when i put the cell phone inside the packet its getting switched off. What can i do...

            Hi,
            This is regarding the C510 phone which i have bought on 11th july 09, which had gone fullydead.
            The phone was used very carefully with no liquid intrusion also.

            I have taken the phone to your service center in Cochin (Accel frontline)
            I was told that the phone was tried with a software change, but in vain.
            Phone will work only with board replacement.
            This isn very unfair. A phone of 3 months old going for a Board replacement.!!!
            I expect a better response on this matter at the earliest.
            can I get some legal person's contact no.?

            This is Indira Priyadarshini from Chennai.
            I bought sony ericsson C510 mobile just three weeks back from Univercell.
            In the second week, it had some display problem, and now, the keys are not working and it is automatically getting switched off. It is not able to read my SIM card. Day by day, the problem with the cellphone is increasing.

            This is unacceptable. Can u please help me in this regard.

              Recently I bought a W205 mobile at the mobile stores (on September 6th 2009). After 3 days I started facing problems of slow operations. I felt it might be a software problem. On Sep 23rd my mobile display turned white. I immediately contacted the customer care and was directed to a service center in Chennai. I informed the service center guys about the white display problem. They told me that it was a software problem and the phone required reinstallation of software.

              They asked me to give the phone and collect it the next day. As I was aware that software re installation takes just ten minutes, I told them I would wait for some time and right away collect the mobile. But the service center guys informed that me that there was a power cut and asked me to collect it the next day. They prepared a job sheet for the mobile. The next day when I went to collect the mobile, they told me that the display is damaged. I was surprised. I asked them how that could have happened. They said that I might have dropped the mobile.

              I told them that I had not dropped the mobile even once. Had the mobile been dropped there would been external damages, at least a scratch. But there was not even a single scratch or external damage to the mobile. Also, I asked them why they didn’t check the status of the mobile before preparing the job sheet. They started evading the questions.

              I am really wondering how a mobile just 3 weeks old could have a software problem and a white display. Now to address the problem, the possibilities are either the mobile I got must be a defective piece or the service center must have been done unprofessional work. I kindly request you to look into this issue and get the problem resolved at the earliest.

              Sony Ericsson — Evasion of Customer Care

              I bought a Sony Ericsson W710i around 9 months ago, and the phone is still in warranty period. This is a flip style phone and has a unique rubber cover over it. Due to usage, the rubber layer recently came off. Since I was still in the warranty period, I decided to approach the service center to get the rubber layer replaced.

              I approached the center at Indira Nagar, Adyar and explained the simple replacement that was needed. Knowing that it was a warranty issue, the staff replied saying that Sony Ericsson would replace the entire top panel of the phone. I was surprised because this was not even an issue with the internal system of the phone and merely a superficial replacement and why do they need to replace the entire top panel!

              And I having said that I would be going out of town the next day, he said it will take 1-2 weeks at least! All to replace a simple rubber layer over the top cover of the phone..

              I wrote an email more than 5 days back to the Sony Ericsson people and yet to receive a reply from them.

              My thumbs down to these people!

              I bought a W205 sony ericsson phone from moibile store, kemps corner on Oct 10, 2009. The phone was for my driver. On opening I found the phone was defective with characters appearing after few secons after typing. I took the phone back immediately and was shocked when they refused to change the defective piece. Was given to the customer care who promised they would replace the handset which eventually they did not but gave the phone back after 10 days with the problem still existent. LET ME ADVISE EVERYONE... DO NOT EVER BUY PHONES FROM MOBILE STORES IN INDIA AND NEVER EVER TOUCH A SONY ERICSSON HANDSET (SONY ERICSSON ARE CHEATS!)
              thats true man... i bought this sony erricson w205 handset and its hardly been 1 month and its having a hell a lot of software issues...
              my complete phone book got deleted all by itself(only the names are there the numbers are missing)
              it keeps hanging and im quite pissed with the phone. i want someone to please tell me what i must do...
              By looking at the above common complaints w205 is not a well fit phone unlike nokia phones of selected models have repeated software problem's. i own the same phone and it has same few problems as above:

              1)contacts got deleted by itself (olt the names and the no. are dissapeared)

              2)file manager got corrupted and when opening that the phone gets restarted

              3)phone is very slow in operation

              4)some misc problems in message tab.mess not getting deleted and gets stored in outbox unauthorized
              Its not even been a month, and i am facing problems of white screen and phone hangs.Also phone is functioning very very slow.
              So, Please look into it.
              who can help me to solve the problems of w205, it was to slow to function...should i master reset ?but i dont want my song gone...beside i nedd to wait 3-4seconds after clicking a button...it was toooooooooooooooooooooo slowwwwwwwwwwwwwww.(WHO CAN HELP ME!!!

                  Dear Sir,

                  1. I purchased one W380i Sony Ericsson phone from M/S Neeru Enterprises Noida (Sony Ericsson Experience Store) on 23.8.2009 (bill no. 2716 dtd 23.08 2009, IMEI no – [protected]).

                  2. Since its purchase it was showing "emergency calls only" most of the time,I replaced the Dolphin(MTNL/BSNL) SIM with Airtel one but again the message 'Emergency calls only ' was appearing.Both the SIMs are functioning properly in Nokia & Motorola handset.The profile selected was normal and home It seems the signal receiving power of W380i is exiremely poor. Immediately I sought advise from their support site and was advised to take the set to their service centre

                  3. I deposited the set at the service centre of Sony Ericsson Noida (B 1/38 ,Sector 18 ,Noida Ph[protected] and they assured that the set will be replaced. From the people present at the Sony Ericsson service centre I gathered that there is general problem of loss of signal with Sony Ericsson sets

                  4. I was assured that my phone will be replaced and new phone will be given around 30.8.2009 but till now nothing has happened.

                  5. Around 4.9.2009 when I contacted service centre I was informed by Mr. Sreejalanand that as new handset is not in ready stock it has taken some time and he will inform about exact status in two hours by calling back. Nobody has called till now.

                  6. The Sony Ericsson Noida service centre either deliberately keeps the phone busy by keeping it off the hook or they will simply not attend to it. It is extremely difficult to contact them unless you go there personally.

                  7. My e mails to their support centre are rarely answered

                  8. I am totally convinced now that Sony Ericsson not only make phones which are unable to perform the basic function for which a phone is designed but also your service centre and customer support cell are TOTALLY USELESS.

                  Till now no action has been taken to resolve the complaint though I have regularly pursued the matter. Complaint nos –

                  sony ericsson/ W 380 — poor quality of set w380

                  recently i bought a new sony ericsson set. serious problems like vibrator disfunction, display problrems and others have started to happen. i gave it for repair under warranty. they changed the display. But it seems that its not original as the quality of display section is so bad. Its not being a month and there are cracks in the display. I had given it to the proper service center for repair. They are not changing the display as they dont entertain physical damages. my cell is still under warranty. please suggest what to do .

                  Sony Ericsson — Handset not working proper

                  Dear Sir/Madam

                  I want to tell you that i have purchase a sonyericson mobile handset no. W580i on 22.01.2009. Now i am facing a problem in this handset last two months i.e. hanging many times during using the phone and charging, hands free and data cable is not connecting because of these problem i am unable to use this handset. And before creating these problems its showing bad display. I have left it for 15 days at your service centre, Lajpat Nagar. But after that its creating many problems. I feel so frustration. So, kindly request you to solve my problem as soon as possible.

                  Sony Ericsson — W380i issues

                  My w 380i phone, which I had bought for my dad just conked off about a week ago. The phone was a little over a year old and had already been to the customer service a couple of times due to signal related issues.
                  When taken to the customer care center they informed by father that repair would cost anywhere between the region of 5k, totally not worth it considering the price of the phone.
                  My father is probably the most careful person in the world so far as his electronics are concerned and there has been absolutely no rough treatment whatsoever. It is just shocking that a phone from a reputed company should pack up in this manner, strategically after the expiry of the warranty period.
                  I want SE to repair this phone without cost of parts, atleast, if not free period.

                  sony ericsson/w380i — Handset not working properly

                  I purchased the sony ericsson model"W380i" on 15th August,2009 and jst after a month its display was not working properly. Nothing was visible on the screen. It just lost its display. I visited to the mobile shop from where I was purchased the mobile i.e "Mona Traders,Nagpur". He told me to go to the service center.I went to the service center of sony ericsson i.e at "Zhansi Rani Chowk,Nagpur". They kept mobile for more than a month.But the problem was still there.The display was going in very short intervals.Then we gave it to the shop from where we purchased and told them to change the handset as it is still in warranty period.Still they are having the handset and yet has not changed the handset and just making escuses.PLEASE HELP ME.....

                  I have Soni Erricson w350i Model. Two months back i.e approx in Jan 2010, as per instruction given by your Authorised service station KSJ Services or KSJ Electronics, i have replaced new main board. They have charged Rs. 800-900, for the same. After 2 months, when my handsets memory card is not working, i show my handset to your service station.They told main board has to change and cost will be Rs. 2, 250/-.I want to know sir, within 2 months how main board is damaged. within 2 months cost is triple time increases. Yeh to lootmaar hai sir. I have used other companies handset e.g Nokia, Samsung. But this very bad experience from Soni Erricson.
                  Request you to look in to the matter and resolve vthe problem otherwise i am going to throw your handset in dustbin, beacuse this type of service, deserve the same.

                    well i am praneeth purchased a new w580i mobile in the month of june2009, i am very disappointed with the mobile its not working properly more over the services center people are very stupids they even dint solve the problem what ever the problem is they just tell that software is corrupted and need to install software my question is how many times i should keep updating this bleady software till now i gave my mobile thrice to service center people and they took 3 to 4 days and gave me return no use problems are camera picture is blurred and the video is very worst that ever i saw in mobiles " totally blocks " and network problem when i dial the number and make call it will go but i cant not here the sound from the other end and sure the money will be deducted what the bleady software is this and when receive any call it shows a error code clip hired sum thing els i did not expect this from such a big organization

                    Sony Ericsson W580i — very bad product launch

                    i've bought SE W58i on 17th nov and it was dead on 17 dec exactly 1 month after purchase. i gave it for service in SP1 (ACCEL) , jayanagar, banglore. i dint get back the piece till now. Now i doubt its stability even if its repaired. At first service point people said it will be repaired in 1 week later asked for 1 more week but its 3 weeks now...

                    Sony Ericsson W580i — Unable to rectify defect

                    I had purchased a Sony Ericsson W580i in Kolkata in Sept'07 and around the last week of Jan'08 the camera of the phone stopped functioning.I gave it to their servic ecentre called Cell-O-Service at P-17,Mission Row Extension Kolkata - 700013 vide Complaint ID SESO8COS10652 dt 04/02/2008.At first the people at the service centre told me that it will be repaired in 2-3 days.When I called them after 2 days they told me that the specific part is not available and it will take 20-25 days for it to come.When I rangthe call centre and emailed them my problems they sent the part and I got a call stating that the set has been repaired on 15/02/08.But within 10 min of taking delivery of the set the same problem re-appeared and I had to re-deposit the same in the same complaint ID.Now again the call centre and the service centre give me assurances that I will get a call within 48 hours which never comes,nor are they committingthat it will be repaired.A costly set only four months having recurring problems is not being replaced by the company which supposedly prides itself in delighting customers.I am not amused at all.I am being made to run pillar to post and it is hampering my work as well.

                    Sony Ericsson W580i — Never Worked Features of the Special Phone!!!

                    This Mobile came into market with great show-off ads by Mr.HRITHIK ROSHAN. This is the First Mobile in India with SHAKE Feature and stylish look...

                    I bought this SONY ERICCSON W580i for Rs.12, 885/- in the month of August 2007.

                    1. The Mobile had made restart the mobile every 20 mins to use it. Otherwise it will restart itself.
                    2. The Shake feature of the phone never worked. The key pads needs water without which the Keypad will start cracking(Not Jokes).
                    3. I cant speak to the person on phone. Voice is mute for most of the time.

                    The above problems were not rectified after I visited 3 of the SONY ERICCSON AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTERS in Chennai. They had NO SPARE PARTS. It is in Vain after I argued with the QUALITY MANAGER with the Case ID:SE5364213 for 30 mins.

                    Now I dont know if I can throw the same mobile to Others...$*&#^$*&!#$^*!$^*&!@$&(-------My Expressions goes like this...

                    I cant take any picture after 5/6 days from buying date, from the day I started using this set lots of complaints like not reachable, swiched off, engage.

                    it was hanging a lot nad one fine day in march it was switched off and went to dead condition.

                    when i took to the Sony service station they logged a complaint and one week afetrthey informed that the board was faulty and they replaced and given the mobile on April 29th, i used that mobile for 3 days and on April 2nd the mobile screen became black but when i took that mobile to the same service center and asked them after the board changeit was like this they reolied that there was some water drops went inside and they are helpless.

                    Pls log a complaint and help me to get the mobile repaired or do me the needful to get replacement for my mobile.if wanted i will log a complaint in consumer court also.

                    I bought sony ericson W580i on 30-Mar-08 fancying Hritik Roshan.., after a weeks use the cell phone was off... (no display at all.. (add says shake it babe... i could not even shake it well.. the cell was OFF huh!!) i called on helpdesk for replacement.. they directed me to service center, i went to Salora based in pune Tilak rd.. there they said that we cannot replace the product as its over 7 days. they asked me to change the hardware as there was some proplem in it.. it took more than 25 days to get this done... i bought the cell on 14-May-08.. at the time of collection i did not notice that there was a crack on number 7 of the keypad... and the metal body is visible from sides...

                    i havent enjoyed the cellphone at all and it looks 2nd hand piece... My burns..for getting this service for 10339/-... (its very expensive...)...

                    today (16 April 08)I called on [protected]... spoke to Amit.. (who kept on repeating like a record..and kept on offending me...) later i spoke to Sanjay he gave too many pauses in speech and then gave me same solution... (NO HELP of ERICSON)

                    Sony Ericsson W580i — Bad Experience with the Sony Product

                    Hi, I have had a bad experience with the sony erricson cell i purchased. The phone had a faulty camera and keypad at the time of purchase. Every time I have visited the sony erricson service centre the only reply i have been getting is that the camera as well as the keypad are out of srock and the cell would have to be deposited there for a period of 2 weeks. Finally almost at the end of the warranty time period, left with no choice i have left my cell with them for repair. It has been 3 weeks already and they have not yet fixed it. Several calls to the service centre has yeilded no result as they either cut the calls or keep the receiver off the hook.

                    i purchased a sony ericsson phone 2 months before. but just after the purchase the phone got dead. when contacted the company service center executive told that the mobile is out of the market long ago. and it is not possible to repair it.                       i purchased your W910i(red) mobile from "Paragon dep.stores." Thane,on 6/05/2008 . it was working allright for few days but later it developed some problem with the software.It was given to the service centre at Thane (Ccom Services,F/11.Eternity Mall,Teen hat naka,Thane-west)they rectified the problem but they took very long ,almost 2 weeks for that.Last month I had some problem with the keys(buttons) and there was dust in the display which was to be cleaned so I gave my mobile to the same service centre on 25th August 09.again they took very long (15 days) to return it on 12th sept.09.my mother collected it from the centre.and charges were Rs.1685/- I feel it is too much.they did not give me the replaced defective parts. my mother could not check it as she is not aware with all the functions. when I checked it at home I realised that there is still problem with the display of the instrument and we decided to return it to the service centre for rectification.We gave it back on 15th sept.09.They said they will give it back within 2 days.After a few days I got a call from them that there is a crack in the display and again i need to bare the expences for that. I was really worried because I am a XII th std.student and I had already spent for the expensive model(Rs.15000/-),again I spent for the repairs(Rs.1685/-) then my father spoke to them they said they will call him back but they didnot do that.after that we are following every day we speak to diffrent people but at this moment also we do not know the status of my phone and I am having great problem without a cell as I need to communicate a lot.I am really frustrated about the services. and when I spoke to other users of sony ericson it was found that 99% people are not happy with the services of sony ericson.I feel the higher management system should look in to the matter and do something about this as you may lose your valuable customer due to these reasons.( Ist receipt no.185, 2nd complaint no. 9412 dated 15/09/09)

                        This R-306 Mobile was purchased from SONY AVIO-Parsavnath Mall, Faridabad on[protected] and it was giving problems of hanging and keypad not working. I contacted Sony service Centre Sector-1 Market N.I.T Faridabad but they don't listen properly. They sent the set to Company for the replacement of motherboard and it was replaced by the Co. but the set is still not working and they are not properly attending the customers.They give phone Numbers to customers for contact but these numbers never work or they don't take phone calls. They are saying that the they don't have keaypad then if they don't have parts available with them how they are functioning and making fool o[censored]s and spoiling our time. Please help me in this regard as I don't have any other contact number from my house and I have old aged parants. The job sheet number of Sony service Centre is SE309SMU10534 dt.[protected]. When we contact to customer care they don't give us contact number of senior persons of the Company neither they help us in resolving our problem, they onle give request numbers. I got complaint numbers such as: 79009378 dt. 2-9-09 & 85207335 dt. 23-09-09 in between I got many request numbers while conversation with customer care unit of the Company. So this is very poor service. They don't have any online public grievance system.

                        Sony Ericsson Mobile — Quality of service

                        I have given hand sent sony erricson yari phone on 14th september 2010 with workorder SE310HSD10146 and phone is within warranty period, it is already 16 days over and inspite of repetative contacts with sony erricson service centre and help line[protected], no body is responding and immediately disconnects the phone. It is very bad that the user is taken for ride without any reason. It should be noted that the Sony erricson is selling phone and not giving good service.Mobiles are part and parcel of life, every day must requirement, in this situation how can sony erricson can take so many days to repair. It is very bad and consumer should be very cautious while purchasing phones from sony erricson.

                        Sony Ericsson — Poor quality of mobile and service

                        I bought sony ericsson W20i by last year August this is the 4th time i have given my mobile for service, this shows the worst quality of the product and the service twice worse than the product. They say that they are the leading product sellers in the market but could'nt able to supply the spares immediately , when ever i give for service they take atleast 2 weeks to make it ready, in this 11 months my mobile was admitted in service center for almost 2 months. we buy mobile with great expectations but when they quality and service in worst we never go for the same company again.So pls dont buy any sony ericsson mobile instead you can any local company mobile. The worst experience in my life i ever had is using this sony W20i mobile which is a fake walkman series.

                            Hi,

                            I have bought a Sony Vaio Laptop(NR 38) on sep 23 2008. But, within 3 months my screen gave a crack and gradually nothing is visible on the screen. Inspite of being in warranty,Sony Service centre located at Sakinaka,Mumbai is rejecting to replace the screen. They say that it is a physical damage and hence not covered in the warranty.

                            Why should I pay 18000 rupees when there is absolutely no fault of myne. The LCD screens of VAIO are very delicate and Sony should take moral responsibility for this.

                            I am vexed with the service and products of SONY.

                            I bought a Sony Vaio Laptop Model no: VGN-NR27G on 24-06-08 from Vijay Sales Thane. few months after i bought it I was facing a problem of flickering screen. the problem was not so frequent so i neglected it thinking it was a fault with the operating system (windows vista). last week when i switched on my laptop the screen started acting a little wierd with grains and pink colour patches all over the screen. On showing it to the sony service center in thane they told me that its a LCD problem and has to be replaced which will cost me 15 to 20K as my laptops warranty has expired 4 months back. I would like to know what must have caused the LCD to behave in this manner ... if its a manufacturing fault i do not want to pay such a huge amount from my pocket . As far as reliability is concerned i am quite satisfied with other sony products i have used. I will be grateful l if you can help me sorting out this issue. I hope you will guide me in the right direction as i dont want to share a negative experience about sony products with others.

                            i had submitted a complaint on this site previosly as well. my laptop lcd screen is displaying lines with white background. the service center says that tft needs to be replaced as it has got damaged. there has been no mishandling on my part, but the company is trying to hide its poor quality product by blaming the user. new tft will cost about 14,000 rs. and i am also using hp laptop since 4 years. never had any such problems in it. its just that sony laptops are so delicate that they break under daily use. the laptop is still in warrant period.
                            i request sony to relpace my TFT free of cost if they have any sense of resposibility towards the customer
                            and not to keep delaying response on this matter. by delaying you are only trying to get the laptop out of the warrant period

                                I bought W580i 15 months back, and now the cell was not starting at all, when I checked out at the Sony Ericsson service center at Vizag, they told me that its Motherboard was damaged.

                                They told than the motherboard cant be replaced and suggested me to buy a new mobile, its very bad just after the completion of the warrenty motherboard got damaged, and even in the warrenty period i have got many problems and have given my mobile 3 times to the service center for repair.

                                Isn't there any solution for this, I thought SONY was one of the best in mobiles, but now i got to know that it was one of the WORST both in manufacturing and even in servicing.

                                Sony Ericsson W580i — can't switch on the mobile w580i

                                cant switch on the mobile w580i?
                                when i hearing music in mobile, its suddenly struck off .then i try to come back from the window i couldn't move and switch off. then i took battery from the mobile w580i.after 10 min i insert it in.then i was trying to switch on the mobile but it didn't work.so i cant on the mobile. anybody can tell that why it didn't work.what's a wrong with this mobile.

                                W580i — Motherboard Problem. Worst Service centres

                                I purchased the mobile on 1st May 2008 from THE MOBILE STORE. WIthin 4 months of purchase, The motherboard is dead and I have given the mobile to a service center in bangalore named " THE ACCEL FRONTLINE" The service center informed me in the beginning with a component to be replaced. Later on, they informed that the motherboard is the problem. How can i agree to them for the change of the motherboard. I will go to Customer Court for this. I need replacement of the mobile set. Without which I am not accepting.

                                I m owner of a cell phone (Sony ericsson) model no W580i and i bought this cell phone on feb of this year... thn it went for a repair on 10th jun and now again today that is 1st oct my handset is dead no response it is not getting switch on that is something i expect from my cell phone...got use to it but it didnt got swich on for 2 days so i went to a service center where i have been before for rectifying the same problem but what was shocking for me was that...the engineer...there came upto me and said that the LCD of your phone is broken {which by the way was not the case at all} i asked him to show me where is it broken ... he showed me but it wasnt visible to me seems it was visible to only him thn i removed the scratch guard and he wasnt able to show me from where the screen of mah cell was broken...thn he said tht there was some paper {which is inside the cell phone...some number or something is written i dont knw abt what he is talkung} and he showed me that area and said you have been to some other place than sony ericsson service center and got your cell repair from there i was so shocked i m the owner of the phone and he is talking abt my cell phone i said yeah i repaired mah cell phone and it was from your center only{why will i go any where else if i got valid warranty period}
                                thn he said there is some liquid also inside so we cant take this in warranty basis
                                {again that was not the case...my cell phone got hanged and switch off automatically and it didnt even rained in mumbai since weeks how can water go in}


                                so in short...i'll tell u the summary...the person was seeking for money...nothing else
                                and seriously i have faced loads of problems wid this cell phone...i really liked it when i bought it was diff thn others but now i feel normal phones are better atleast i have to not run again n again to service center and loose all my data everytime

                                i would request sony ericsson people to make better cell phones and if you are making cell phones which will create problems atleast hire some good people to provide me good service

                                SONY ERICSSION/w580i — LOW PERFORMANCE OF PRODUCT

                                Life cycle of my mobile is as mentioned below:
                                Purchased on 14 September 2008.. after 1 month mobile was dead and motherboard replace..after 2 months again mobile was dead and mother board replace. Finally on 24th Feb 2009 I submitted my mobile with complaint of low bettery back and on 30th March, 2009 my mob was replaced. But the replaced mobile was old and sony ericssion was not ready accept the fact. Inspite accepting fact they have misbehaved with me. In April I was transferred to Indore, hence I went ot Indore service station for service but they refused with statement "You have not collect swipe card from old service centre which is in Jabalpur". My question is it is whose responsibily to give me swipe card..Jabalpur service centre is authorised service centre of Sony..why they have not given me swipe??? I spend some Rs. 1500/- and collected swipe card from Jabalpur. Jabalpur service station provided swipe card on 13 Sep 2009. 1 day later on 15 Sep I went to Inodre service station with swipe card, they again refused with reason your warranty is over. My 100M$ question is my mob had spent more than 2 months in your service station and for 1 day delay you are not giving service to me. All these has clearly indicated me that Sony is a fraud company and their entire setup is made to cheat customers. This is my final request and if not solved within 10 days I will go to consumer court

                                sony ericsson/mobile handset- w580i — warranty/bad servicing & bad service center

                                My name is suyog kuldeep shrivastava. i have purchased a mobile handset sonyericsson w580i from the mall outlet in mumbai in the 12 months warranty my handset atleast 8 months was for servicing. during my handset warrnnty periodthree times the mother board of the set has changed.which had taken months of period the warranty of the handset finshed even once i got my handset back from the service center after the expiary of the warranty
                                Befrore expiary the warranty of my handset i told to that service center manager thet pls get change my handset but he clearly denied & told me its not possible but it was possible at that time he told me if there will be anyother problem occurs he will sortout. but now he has setdown their servce center. & the expiary date of warranty is over.
                                when i go to the other authorised service center of sonyericssson on RNT MARG INDORE The service center manager told me that its a water damage but it was not & wants 1700 Rs. again i have taken my handset to another authorised service center name accel frontline in sunrise tower M.G. road opposite T.I. Indore (M.P.) he told me that set is ok only software problem is only there but there is a problem in camera & demands for 1300 Rs. but there is no problems in camera also took back. the set from there.
                                but again my handset creating a problem now wht i do.

                                Note:-
                                1. on first service center she demnded 1700Rs. while the problem waas not there.
                                2. on second service center he demanded 1300Rs. again there is no problem in my set.

                                my mean the service center not providing their actual service they making fake problems to the custamer & charged illegal money. if a person is not so aware they making them foolish & charged money.
                                i m fedup with sony ericsson brand & their service bcoz i also did complaints ti their own service center but they didn't resonse. so i need ur favour to take action against this brand for inferior quality of product & service & also their fraud cheater service center.
                                I came to know about u recently through my one of friend so i m taking the action & wants ur help i have my all evidence servicinig.

                                Sonyerisson phones are one of the best phones available in the world.
                                How sonyericsson or its service provider is held responsible If board got damaged.
                                It is because the negligent of the user the board might have got damaged.
                                It is one of the worst mobile in Sony products I bought sony w580i for 10, 800 last year now i was not able to switch on when i went to sony ericssion they motherboard is gone can't be repaired is really stupid service, after spending so much money and it worked for only 1 yr and months mean time most of the time it gets overheat while listening to songs and freezes
                                never and ever buy sony products in my life .Nokia is best
                                I have the same problem, motherboard died just after warranty is over, the repair cost has been quoted for more than Rs 6000. Does Sony have any policy towards such bad products. I feel Toyota and Honda are doing recall of their cars to fix problem, Sony is aware the problems it phone are having and is not taking any actions, always leaving to the consumer to suffer and pay.
                                My W580 i's motherboard is dead & at service centre they are telling me Rs.4000 for changing it. I think Sony mobile is good in performance very bad in maintenance & also repairing is too costly and service centres are worst.
                                yes i do agree with the comments of my friends, about the serivce of sony erricson with regards to service and mother board. there is a regular problem with the mother board and the standard reply is that we have to either go for nearly 6000/- repair or buy a new one... very unfortunate ...even i suggest NOKIA is the best...

                                  This is regarding one of the worst cases of phone service i have come across. I have handed in my SE P1i to a service center in Dadar(west), Mumbai. I am detailing the entire episode with dates for your reference.
                                  August 1 - hand in my phone at the service center. i am told that the estimation would take 2-3 working days and on approval, the repair would take 2-3 working days.
                                  August 4 - Cost of Rs. 1975 as told by the service center is approved on phone.
                                  August 10 - informed phone not ready. to contact back in 2 days.
                                  August 12 - phone not ready. reason given as part unavailable. Complaint lodged with telephone customer care.
                                  August 13 - Call from Customer care representative, who assures the case is on high priority and the handset would be delivered within 7-10 working days.
                                  August 21 - Phone repair still pending for part. I am told by a customer care representative that it will DEFINTELY be done by the following Saturday (August 29th).
                                  August 29 - The phone is still pending for part. I am promised the case has been escalated and i would have the handset by September 2.
                                  September 2 - The phone is still pending for parts. I am promised by the customer representative that it will be made available at all costs on Saturday September 5.
                                  September 5 - Phone is still pending for parts. Phone to be made available on September 12.
                                  September 16 - After a grace period of 4 days, I am now told by the customer care that i have not approved the phone for repair as it is now pending for an estimate approval. I am assured that the case has escalated and I would be contacted within 24 hours.
                                  September 17 - I visit service center and am assured there that the status on their system shows the phone is pending for part and that the estimate approval is made. On contacting phone support, there is an apology again for the delay and i am assured a call back with the status of the phone. I get a call in 5 minutes from a person who turns out to be very rude in explaining that the part is unavailable. On being questioned as to what was so delicate about the part that it took so long to get, he wants me to get the part for him. I still have no word from any member of the service center or Sony Ericsson as to a DATE when i will receive the phone. This is after 1 month and 17 days. I have been using Ericsson touch screen phones (R380s, P800, P910, P990i, and now the P1i). I have had touch screens replaced before and this is the first time the phone has not been returned for more than a day. So to tell me that the touch screen is highly specialised piece of equipment is a rubbish response from such an esteemed company.

                                  Till date i have not been given a date for the return of my handset. It is now 1 month and 17 days.

                                  Sony Ericsson P1i — Handset not returned

                                  I have handed over my handset P1i for replacement of Keypad at Ccom Services Ghatkopar on the 3rd August 2009. Workorder No : 210105
                                  Till date i have not received the handset.
                                  what is worse is that the Service Center has no idea about the status.

                                  I have also logged a case at Customer Service[protected]. Case Id 78914965

                                  After following up twice I was told that my handset will be availble at the Service center on 5th September 09, for collection.

                                  As on 7th Sept, the service center has no idea about the handset. The customer service says the handset is still pending for parts.

                                  Wonder how Sony Ericsson operates ?

                                  Never again a Sony.

                                  Please help me get my handset. If it cannot be repaired by them, then they should atleast return it back to me.

                                    i have purchase sony car dvd player dated 1-2-08 it is in warrenty period of two year last month it is taking more time in playing dvd i have shown it in sony service center after checking it they said that lens it not working and we have to order a lens after one week service center employe make a call that your dvd player is working and after one week same problem is there please suggest me what i have to do for sony dvd player i want it in new one

                                      I have purchased sony ericsson W395 of 7500 rupees on 13yh sep 2009 after seeing the features on sony's official site and it showed that it had motion gaming ,usb connectivity & java supported phone but non of its true and i am fooled by the sony site .There is no motion gaming ,no java file can be installed and so i want my money back from sony company.
                                      Yes it's true.
                                      Sony ericsson is a fake company with no customer service and should be banned from this country. I also bought a W395 on 8th september 2009, I found my handset to be defective(frequent call drops within 2-4 minutes, unable to access SMS directories & editer, hanging problem )
                                      since last 20th my handset is in service center. It has got its PCB to be replaced. I waiting for a right chance to drag this crap, cheap sony ericsson to consumer court.
                                      Really harassing.

                                      Sony Ericsson W395 — product does not contain all feature as specified

                                      I have purchased sony ericsson W395 mobile phone after watching on site its specification which said it supports motion gaming but when i purchased it i came to know there is nothing such thing in it. They have now changed specifications on site but i have stored page of their old site saying it has motion gaming as well as the support booklet which came along with the product also say it has, so want to complaint about this and want my money back.

                                        Sl no-CB511B3EJ4 from your authorized dealer dated:-.05.06.2009. because every body knows this name for faiths and trust. And I have lot hope and faith on your company because your service was very good and fast. But I face the problem from your mobile ,
                                        after purchasing this mobile I am facing lot of problem continuously. Some of problem are under as.

                                        1. Keypad is not working properly
                                        2. Some time phone vibration is not working
                                        3. Speaker phone is not working properly and muted automatically
                                        4. Network problem
                                        5. Hanging problem
                                        6. Ringer problem

                                        due to above problem’s I am visiting many times in your authorized service center they look into my hand set condition and they told to me that your mobile must sent to the company workshop and its has been taken more then 15 day’s now I am in very strange condition if I send my mobile to your company for repairing how would I manage my official and personal work. Now I want to request to you please provide me a stand by mobile or change my mobile in to the new one.
