      I have purchased Sony Ericsson model P1i, in the month of January 2008, from Sony Ericsson Experience Store, Shreeji Communication, Anand.

      After say 3-Month I had a problem of hanging and immediately i rushed to your Sony Ericsson Experience Store, Shreeji Communication, G-%, Silver Oak, Opp. Swayamwar Party Plot, Anand-V.V. Nagar Road, Anand – 388120 and they have given me solution by just out the battery from unit and again put the same in same position i.e. shut down mobile by easiest way.

      Said problem occurred three times and same manner problems were sorted out, as per my opinion this is not the solution to solve problem, at that time they have to re-install software.

      Further, the same problem occurred recently on dtd. 30/05/2009, the same dealer informed me now we will re-install software and they have done it and charged Rs. 250/- for this, since my mobile is now out of warranty, just 4-month over on guarantee period.

      I really very upset and I felt that SONY ERICSSON has cheated me, which is not fair.

      I am ready to pay what your charges for updating software not for re-installation, re-installation of software is FREE, and I also know on your site updating of software is free, without any charges.

      If some one buy your product worth Rs. 20, 000/- and if some minor problems are there in your instrument because of your software set up, then you have to help out your clients and approach of your representative also be good enough to help clients, not only money, money and money.

      I also know from my complaint no one in your company will take corrective actions, every one look each other face and concluded that all customers are like these only.

      IF YOU SATISFIED ONE CLIENT, THEN HE WILL TELL OTHER 10 CLIENTS, FOR YOU 10 CLIENTS ARE NEW, BUT ONE UNSASTIFIED CLIENT WILL TELL OTHER 100 CLIENTS AND ULTIMATELY COMPANY WILL BE AT LOOSER END.

      sony ericsson P1i mobile — sony ericsson cheating customers

      Hello Sir,
      I had bought Sony Ericsson mobile; model “P1i” last year on 16th August 08.The mobile’s cost was 17800Rs. After exact 1 year and 15 days the phone started giving trouble. The touch screen of the phone stopped working. As most of the functions of the phone were controlled by touch screen so I started having tough time to use it. On 2nd SEPTEMBER 2009 I went to Sony Ericsson’s authorized service center located in Dwarka sector-12, near Dominos pizza in Delhi. There they first tried told me that touch screen of the phone would be changed so it would take 15 days and they gave me the budget of 1200Rs. So I deposited my phone with them. After 12 days I got a call from sony ericsson that the touch screen of the phone has been changed but its still not working so they need to send the phone in level 3 so they need my approval. They also said that budget has also increased from 1200 to 1800 and it will take 1 more week. I gave my approval, as I had no other options. Now today on 25th September 2009 I went to service center to inquire about my phone than to be shocked I was told that the phone couldn’t be repaired because the touch screen of the phone is not available in service center so I can collect my phone after 10 more days and that also unrepaired phone. Now I have few questions
      1) How can Sony Ericsson cheat their customer like this? I bought this phone @ 17800 Rs and after just 1 year company is telling that the phone cannot be repaired by even them because they don’t have the part. Than why did they manufactured such product which works for only 1 year and that also cannot be repaired though customer is ready to pay for it.
      2) Now I cant even sell this phone because nobody would but a mobile which is not working properly and cannot be even repaired. So would sony ericsson would buy this phone from me as they are the one who manufactured a product which cannot be repaired.
      3) After paying 17800Rs for their product can they just easily walk away because the phone is not in warranty?
      4) If yes than does it means that the life of their product is just 1 year?
      5) Why should we buy a good branded phone than? Shouldn’t we go for a Chinese one or the local one?
      6) I have asked them to give in written that my phone cannot be repaired so that I can file a complain in consumer court because Sony ericsson cannot make fool of the customers

        Purchased Sony Ericsson Handset -G502 from UniverCell, No.213 S.V.Patel Salai, Puducherry, Invoice P.PUD/15000/dated: 31st October 2008.

        Mainly I procured by seeing good clarity in Sony ericsson Mobile, and due to my Friends suggestion but I am quite unhappy that the metalic colour (steel colour) through out the mobile is getting peeled off, I am operating key pad on my memory .even side boarded total ring also plastic is vissible. This kind of poor quality of finish I was not expecting from any sony product in warranty period itself ! scree also moving.

        More over on complaining to UniverCell, they are behaving very irresponssible saying we do only sales we cannot do anything on complaint.

        please treat this for making better quality product instead of producing faluir models like G502 (by seeing my collegue also purchased the same set he also facing the same problem)

          i purchased this particular mobile from VIJAY sales, NAVI MUMBAI at the price of 13000/- and it is a big waste of money because later through a male i found that the IMEI number says that the handset is of very low quality and is dangerous
          is any one taking an account of it...
          big companies like sony is selling there brand of walkman series and that to with a low quality of production
          why are they cheating the coustomer
          I have a lot of problem with the handset since i bought in feb, 2008.

          I have formatted the phone multiple times. In the begining, i used to surf only ethical sites like google, yahoo with the phone . But with that phone starts hanging & restating.

          Then i stop browsing with the phone. then after my problem countinues untill i do format it.


          Why this phone sw is not roubust like nokia phone sw? even if it costs me 16k.


          i also had to change my handsfree 3 times and have to check the charger once.

          After such problems, suddenly i got this mail.

          I bought a w910i sony ericsson mobile from subhiksha mobiles in Pune on MG Road in Dec 2007.
          the phone was very slow, used to hang up, sometimes not start. and now after in Sep 2009, i found that the phone is not switching on at all, When i went to sony ericsson service center in pune, they informed me that the motherboard of the phone has gone and the cost of it will be 70% of the handset cost.

          I must say that the phone W910i is a complete waste of money.
          i completely disagree. my phone has 02, and its excellent quality and its never broken down!

            Dear Sir / Madam,

            I had bought a Sony Erricson W595 mobile phone 3 months ago by paying 15000/- Rs and few keys were not working after a month. It had free warranty of 1 year, so i took it to a Sony authorised service centre. They said keypad has to be changed and they dont have stock & sent me to another center. The other center kept the phone for a day & later falsely claimed it has liquid damage & i should pay for repair. i asked for estimate. They did not respond to my calls & visits. After a month they are saying it will cost 3000/ Rs. This is a clear case of cheating & i want to sue them & also warn the public about their unenthical trade practice. Many have had same experience with this center in jayanagar.

            Kindly advise me about the procedures & steps involved in initiating a legal complaint against them.

            I would like to bring into notice to all of the Sony erricson mobile buyers there are lot of fake mobiles where this is very much bulky in middle east. the shop keeper sells with a WARRANTY but when it has problem and go to the service centre for repair they say this is not the Sony erricson product and its a fake one and they are not responsible, and when came to the shop and asked about it they say its not that mob they had sold to us. many have lost money buying this and no one there to look into the matter, and lot of arguments made and finally have to go in vain, so please check and be careful when you go for this kind of stuff, and more over the service centers are very rude and never pay attention for the problems and losses of the costumers, the Name is only as customer care but never care for customers,

              Hello,
              I bought a Brand new Sony ericsson K810i handset from mobile store Cochin worth rs 11900/-.Within 2 weeks it started malfunctioning i.e. the keys got hanged, shortcut keys popping up and i was not able to make a call. I went to mobile store but they adviced me to go to Authorized service centre which is in Kalabavan road, Cochin.I went there and as i dont know malayalam and as i was alone they told that it had liquid damage and made me sign one form.After that they made me pay 540 Rs/-. I was ready to pay the amount as i had no time and as desperate to make the phone ready.nearly after 2 weeks they returned the phone back claiming that they have repaired it.Within 2 days it again started to repeat the same problemsThen i went to mobile store and they told me that i have made a big mistake by paying the amount. They also told that if i get a DOA certificate from Service center i will get the phone replaced.I was really emberrassed by talking to the persons in Mobile store.I called Sony Ericsson Call center and raised a trouble ticket and they again adviced to go to service center and as i have no other way i again went there and after talking to RM of service center submitted the phone.He told they will not issue DOA and for issuing the same there should be only 5 min talk time.Within 2 days of submission the RM kept on calling me to take my mobile back and he told that he has repaired.I got the phone and after fewithin same day same issue repeated after i realized that the Service centre oficial was lying to me.When i called the Call center they told that i have to change the PCB and it nearly cost 70% of handset.I realized that i was totally cheated.When i talked to official they told that they cannot do any thing and i have to suffer with the problem.

                I'm a merchant navy officer working for THE SHIPPING CORPORATION OF INDIA LTD and AIrcel customer for the past three years.
                Today (23rd Jan 2008) at about 06.30 pm I lost my mobile near my friend's office at Nanganallur
                After all attempts in tracing the whereabout, ending in vain, a complaint was logged at S-9 police station, Nanganallur chennai 600 061at 08.00 pm.

                I request you to kindly block my SIM card at the earliest to prevent me from holding responsible in case of any misuse. i would also be helpful if you could find out out going calls made, if any after 06.00 pm today to trace out my lost mobile.

                  I bought an G700 mobile last year 14 oct 2008.There persist a problem of touch screen jan 2009.It was repaired within 15 days and i got my mobile back.On 16.04.2009 again my touch screen faced an problem.I gave at the service centre and till date i am only hearing commitment of different dates from allindia sony ericcson service centre.
                  My mobile has not been returnedto me till date.My screen is supposed to be replaced but company is not providing with spare.Since last 2 and a half month i am continuously following up with the service and centre and local authorised dealer but unable to get my mobile back.

                    whenever i insert any sim in my sony ericsson f305 it shows insert sim...
                    i showed it to the authorised service center in noida...they say the do not pick up the job work of phones in warrenty...they told me to go to nehru place an get it fixed ...

                    I too have a problem. It doesn't recieve calls if left unused for some time say 4 to 5 hours. This problem persist mostly In the mornings becuase the phone is not used at nights. Service centere Kizer electronics reloaded the software but still the problem persist. Now they say I need to leave the phone for 10 to 15 days to send it to the company. How will I manage without phone in this period. Wrote to company but no resposnse from them.

                      Dear Sir,

                      I have purchased above hand set on 16.7.08 from Hot Spots Retails Ltd, Sector-31, Guergaon.

                      The set got out of service in May'09 end and subsequently it was deposited with Mobile Phone India, 114, DLF Central Arcade, Gurgaon for necessary repairs vide Compliant ID SES09MP110707 dated 08.5.09. The agency is unable to repair the same till date and to my surprise it is not teraceable by the Sony Ericsson and Mobile Phones India. Please find attached mails sent to Sony Ericsson and their subsequent reply / assurances for your kind info and records. Hope you will take appropriate action against Sony Ericsson for failing in Customer Service, after sales service, mental torture to customer, customers right violations, etc...

I have called Tele Zigmos and enquired about the same but Mr. Saurabh confirmed that they have'nt received the set till date. Yesterday also Ms. Richa confirm that the set has been delivered to Tele Zigmos and I should collect the same from them and subsequently I will get a confirmatory call from Sony Ericsson and mail regarding the same.

                      Which is still awaited.

                      Despite your false assurances from time to time I am contacting you on daily basis. I have also checked with Mobile Phones India also about the same but they are also denying the delivery from your side.

                      Will you please confirm when I will get my phone back.

                      You will appreciate that fair chances have been given to Sony Ericsson to repair the same or replace the hand set. But after sales services of Sony Ericsson is poor, pathetic and beyond the customer satisfaction.

                      Request to confirm within in 24 hrs or else I will have no option left to go to Consumer Court through my Advocate Mr. S.N. Soni - Contact No.[protected], for which Sony Ericsson will be lible to pay all the damages, charges, mental harassment, violation of customers right, court fee, charges of advocate etc. etc.

                      The suite will be filed in the Gurgaon Court.
                      Hope you will take it in a right sprit and resolve the issue by today itself and give a confirmation.

                        My father bought a Sony Hi-Fi system, Model no: MHC-RV222//CE12, Serial Number 6116671 on 25-12-07 from Hindustan Electronics, Hapur( Ghaziabad).
                        We made regular complaints regarding the performance of this system. We made around 15 complaints since we purchased this system. this issue is never resolved they took it to service center, returned it back but it never worked. the local dealer suggested me to make a complaint in the consumer court.

                          Sir,

                          I want to complain against Sony. Recently I had given my laptop to a sony service centre in Mumbai ( Andheri East) as my laptop wasn't working. Sony Informed me that my motherboard is damaged and needs to be replaced. I wasn't willing to replace the motherboard and I took back my laptop. On showing the same laptop to my company's IT department they informed me that the motherboard has been changed as the company's initial was missing from the motherboard.

                          On contacting Sony they are asking me to get the laptop back to them, but they are saying that this thing cannot happen with them and that they cannot help apart from checking the motherboard again.

                          Please look into this matter and help me with the same.Details of my laptop are as mentioned below.

                              Request you to please look in this matter. I have given application for extension of Warranty period on 14-March-09 at Sony World Aundh Branch.to Jitesh Agency pvt Ltd. Address [ Equity tower plot no 5 Sanghvi Nagar Aundh Pune.]
                              Till date I have not received the warranty card inspite of payment being done on 14-March-09.
                              Also the branch is not operative at the moment. I am Making regular visits since last 3 weeks at Aundh and other showrooms [ Khondwe & University Road] I have also met Mr Cyrus Tangal / Anirvan. they have assured me the query will be resolved in next 2 -3 days. ie in First week of june
                              But till date I have not received any concrete solution.
                              I am really troubled by this as every time I need to travel for minimum 30-40 Kms in between the office hours. I have also provided them the Tax invoice receipt for the payment which I have done Along with the xerox copy of the acknowledgement.
                              Everytime I visit them I am always asked to wait for few more days. I am really fed up of this kind of mental harrasment given to the customers. I really fail to understand what do they mean by Few days as it is it has been 3 weeks now.
                              Also I have just now spoken to Mr Cyrus and he is asking me to wait for more 15- 20 days.

                              Looking forward for assistance from your end.

                                  I have bought brand new Sony ericcson C510 mobile in a well known mobile show "Mobile Store", as soon as i unwrapped the box i found the Brand new Cybershot C510 has bug in its camera.The image is not been captured properly and its simply dark.
                                  when approached the store, they directed to the sony ericsson service centre for replacement, but the response given by the Sony service centre, Greams road, chennai was really bad.The service people tried to hide the fault of the mobile and convinced us .After genuine argument they agreed the fault but refused to replace it when the brand new mobile not even used has really serious problem.
                                  We even contacted the customer service people who again tried to ignore us.
                                  Please help me out in this issue for which i spent my one month salary to buy the product.

                                  I have brought a brand new sony ericsson C510 and the moment it started working, i found a bug in the 3, 2 megapixel camera, The images are dark and becomes fade .is it a problem of camera or any problems in settings can anyone help me out ?
                                  Rajoy I found the same problem with mine, the pictures taken indoors were always dark. Have you set it to flash? The problem with my c510 is that there is no display on screen at all at times but the buttons still work, i can make calls if I know the number to key in, also the phone freezes and goes all multi coloured on screen, or breaks up whatever display is on screen and even sometimes breaks up the display AND the previous screen I was on and is just a mess. Never works for more than 30 secs now
                                  Dude, i am really frustrated with this gadget, i dont knw what to do with this, sometimes my phone's display will go multicoloured and do u get any option to zoom the pictures, i dont find any

                                    This complain I am loging against the service given by one of the service centres of sony in bangalore.I purchased this laptop in Aug 2008.I was quiet happy with the performance of laptop.One day I felt some problem in my screen`s hinge and my left click was also not working, I went and told them problem, they noted down all the problem and then directly told me that this all physical damage and would not be counted as service free of charge and told that they will inform me.After one week when I called them then they told me that it would take one more day even they promised me for 3-4 working days.They corrected my left click problem but I was shocked to listen that they did not do anything for my hinge problem which was most important.They told me I don`t know but it would cost me[protected] Rs to correct this problem.
                                    I don`t know how can I correct my problem even its not my fault because if I open my laptop and use it and hinge get internal problem how can it become physical damage.
                                    I think they only threat customers by claiming physical damage.I think this is the strategy they are using to resolve any complain.
                                    I hope any top management would get this complain seriously and would correct my problem before I take any furthur step.

                                      I purchased Sony Ericsson Handset Model W3501 from Mobile Store, Ahmadabad.Within two weeks the handset started getting heated, the software started crashing.I handed over the handset to The Mobile store, which in turn sent it to Sony Ericsson service Center, Drive -in Road, Ahmadabad.

                                      I am yet to receive my handset back (even after 45 days) and they claim to have changed Mother Board thrice as it is crashing every time.Every time I call for the status, the answers I keep getting from executives are like"how do we know", "nothing can be done", "you can only wait" and such vague replies.When we call to ask for relevant official numbers, the service center refuses to give it saying those are private numbers and they will get back, which they never do.Twice I went to collect the handset when they told so, yet I was made to wait for over two hours. I still dont have my handset back.They are themselves accepting that the handset is "faulty".

                                      I want the relevant authorities to look into the matter as I do not want to approach the Consumer Court yet.

                                      As an educated Customer I am well aware of my rights and I dont understand how a Company of such an International Strature can employ such rude, tactless, underqualified people who are ill equipped to deal with customers and not even provide service on time.I am fed up of having to wait for more than a month and not even having a replacement yet.I am willing to upgrade to another new handset and pay the difference .Kindly look into the matter.

                                      Please do the needful by directing my complaint to the right persons.

                                      As a consumer, I am feeling cheated and am having to deal with Customer Care(less) Staff, who are saying that my handset will take at least 15 days more to come by courier from Chennai ...making me wonder if Sony Ericsson is resorting to delivery by Bullock Carts as a drastic measure of Global Cost Cutting.

                                      I would much rather go in for a Replacement or have my money back, as it is the company's responsibility to replace a faulty product under warranty.

                                      I found that the speaker of the phone and the ringer were faulty and not functioning properly and battery was getting dicharged very often say after 15 to20 minutes of talktime approximately, I visited the service centre on 21st August2009(Work order number: SE [protected]).I had to sit there and wait for two and half hours.

                                      Again within 2 days I found that batteryagain got drained out, I again visited the service centre on 24th August2009(Work order number: SE [protected]).I had to sit there and wait for more than 2 hours and I was told that battery has to be replaced so I should visit the centre at 5.30pm. Again I visited the service centre in the evening (Work order number: SE [protected]) . I wasted one and half hour again.
                                      I had also visited the dealer number of times.

                                      I have wasted almost three to four days and lot of money behind this.

                                      Now on 9th sept 2009, again I found that camera was not working and battery was getting drained out. I again approched to the dealer and reported the fact, I had also gone to service centre and met Mr. Nilesh/Mr. AshishGoel , I was told that I had to keep my mobile for almost 15 to 20 days to get it repaired. I was shocked to listen to this. Also I cannot afford to keep my mobile close even for 5minutes. Also this mobile was purchased to replace 2 old mobiles in my company, Also it would not be fair to ask anybody to lend mobile for 20 days.

                                      I feel it is shameful on the part of company like sony to cheat and harass the customers in this manner.

                                      Iam using mobiles since 1997,I had some problems occassionaly, but this was simply horrible.

                                      I had also tried to talk to helpline nos.[protected] couple of times , there was sharp negligence and tone of irresponsibility in their language. I hope they have recorded the conversation.

                                      HAD IT BEEN IN ANY OTHER COUNTRY , SONY WOULD HAVE BEEN SUED AND FORCED TO PAY HUGE COMPENSATION

                                      I would request the company to take back the hand set and refund me the amount.

                                      I have purchased G502 sony ericcson mobile from sony distributor/stockist/dealer/experience store : VENUS ELECTRONICS on 13th August2009 Invoice number: 593
                                      IMEI number:[protected].

                                      I found that the speaker of the phone and the ringer were faulty and not functioning properly and battery was getting dicharged very often say after 15 to20 minutes of talktime approximately, I visited the service centre on 21st August2009(Work order number: SE [protected]).I had to sit there and wait for two and half hours.

                                      Again within 2 days I found that batteryagain got drained out, I again visited the service centre on 24th August2009(Work order number: SE [protected]).I had to sit there and wait for more than 2 hours and I was told that battery has to be replaced so I should visit the centre at 5.30pm. Again I visited the service centre in the evening (Work order number: SE [protected]) . I wasted one and half hour again.
                                      I had also visited the dealer number of times.

                                      Again within 10 days I found that camera was not working , I again visited the service centre on 8th sept2009(Work order number: SE [protected]).I had to sit there and wait for more than 2 hours . My mobile was repaired and given back.

                                      I have wasted almost three to four days and lot of money behind this.

                                      Now on 9th sept 2009, again I found that camera was not working and battery was getting drained out.                                       I AM NOT ABLE TO START SBI MOBILE BANKING WITH k 790i
                                      I have also purchase G502 mobile in March 2009. But it is really a problem handset. My phone speaker was not sounding good. So I went to service center and repaired it. He said he has changed the speaker. But the very next day I again found it is not sounding properly. But the service center said, it is OK and the sound of the mobile is like wise only.
                                      Recently my mobile was dead. When I showed to the service center, they said it is liquid damaged i.e. damaged due to water entry. I explained them this has not happened, but inspite of convincing him, he didn't agreed to repair under warranty, saying that he is helpless. Means he is agreed verbally that this is due to moisure formation at charger point and gradually this has damaged the phone, but he said this is not under warranty. I was surprised to that, inspite of this being handset problem I was not provided with warranty. Moreover, the mobile is now irrepairable. I emailed Sony for this and also talked to there toll no. customer support, but he also said that if service center is refusing we are helpless. i requested him for giving contact of some technical person to whom I can talk from company and that we disagrees the service I will not complaint any more. But he didn't even gave that and just cancelled the phone. Such a rediculus service. I have decided, no more buying of Sony phones. I request all for the same as out of 10 probability of Sony phone being defect free is 2 only.

                                        Complaint:

                                        This cell phone has stopped working (completely dead) due to some reason. Now as the phone is under warranty I showed It to the Sony Ericsson service centre NIT Faridabad complaint no. mentioned above thereafter they called me up and said you will be charged Rs. 1500 for the repair of the phone stating the reason of damage : water, which really came to me as a shock and I had a long argument with them as to how can they say that its a water damage, I just cannot understand how can they fool us, I am very much aware of rules and regulation of warranty cover, and the fact is that I just picked my phone from my pocket & I found that it was off and It never turned back on .Now how in the world Is that the reason for water damage.
                                        Now I really feel cheated, now there was no reason for water damage, I feel these NIT Faridabad service centre guys have intentionally done this act of cheat to literally rob me of my hard earned money, and I simply wouldn’t tolerate this.
                                        Request:
                                        • kindly please respond to my complaint, an early action in the matter will be highly appreciated.& make sure I am not charged for the repair as I am not responsible for what ever damage these NIT Faridabad service centre people has done to my SONY ERICSSON set.

                                        • If not. Then I would be forced to escalate the matter to higher levels and at a suitable public platform.
