Dear Respected,


I purchased a mobile from M/s. Classic Watch Center Dehradun model name is W350i Sony Ericsson. My complain is that it doesn’t read memory card. I went to take it to service center but they couldn’t repair it thereafter they gave me 15 days time and said the one part of mobile doesn’t working properly it will come with in 15 days then you will repair it but now 25 days past neither any part has come. What should I do?

    I have purchased one Sony Eriction Mobile Phone on 22.07.2008. Model no Sony Ericsson W660I.

    After purchase of this hand set the first time the PCB Board failed on 22.11.2008. The board IMEI no is [protected]. The abobe mentioned part was replaced from ESSR Service Behala, 126B, Diamond Harbour Road, Kolkata 700060. The replaced PCB Board IMEI no is [protected].

    This board again failed on 22.05.2009. Now the service provider refusing to give any further Warranty on this part which will be replaced under warranty as beacause the said warranty period of my set is going to expire on 22.07.2009.

    I think there was no need to purchase any Sony Erricssion mobile hand set in future. I need replacement of this faulty set with immidiate effect and when the new set will be replaced I need new warranty card.

      It has not been an year since I purchased this cellphone and I have had to visit the service centre thrice. At first I faced a keypad problem as the keys stopped functioning. Now that problem is still there and apart from that I am also facing a problem related to the phone charging. As I am writing this my phone is still in the service centre. I am seriously disappointed with the build quality of the phone.
      i had purchase W350 i 1 yr ago and after 8 months i was facing the problem with the display and i went to service station and they made the software and fone was ok and after 3 month i m facing same problem and they r saying that its display problem and had to change lcd and it will be charging 1500 and the problem was same as before but as the warranty is over so they are charging me heavy
      .

        I purchased Sony Ericsion W580i. While talking with my office friend suddenly phone went switch off, I tried lot to switch on.connected charger then try but no use, then visited service center, they said there is water inside chip.I was not agree..but bcoz i wanted my cell back soon...i told him to rectify problem soon...they told me we will call you..for estimte..they call in the evening ..they motherboard has to be replace..and charges will be 4, 500.I told them to replace bcoz it is under warrnty..i am not happy with your services even your services center.Now you people tell me what should I do, if sony Ericsion made that kind of fault in manufacturing than what is difference between local phone & sony ericsion. Both companies are similar in fact local made mobile phone is cheaper rather than sony ericsion...I don't want Sony Erricson company in India...

        i was standing 1 hour at Sony erricson service center, whenever any cliant come they were saying..there is liquuid or water inside..After some time they are saying motherboard has to be replace..

        Please look into this matter..

        I also have a similar issue, when i was hearing song last monday suddenly the phone switched off then when i am not able to switch it again, latter when i approched the service center they took 2 days time and told need to replace the motherboard because there is water in the chip. I disaggree then got back my phone (my warrenty period was over)and after two days when i tried to switch on, the phone was working lallter again 2 days the phone went off.

            I had purchased a Sony ericsson Mobile K530i model from the local Telephone Shoppe at Aundh, Pune.
            Withing 1 month of purchasing the mobile i faced a problem of the telephone switching off when receiving calls or making calls. Once the telephone got switched off i could never switch it on!It used to keep getting switched off more than often!
            When i contacted Telephone Shoppe i was advised to send it to the Sony Ericsson Customer Care Service Centre. I contacted the authorised centre New Tirupathi Cellulars in Pimpri, Pune on 21/6/08. They just did a master reset to my mobile promising the problem would be resolved.I went abroad after that where i persistently faced the same problem putting me in lot of difficulties especially when i was contacted by my clients.
            On returning i contacted Telephone Shoppe (aundh) again who promised to take care of the issue and keep updating me. They kept the mobile with them for a month without contacting me and their mobile was always unreachable.After a month when i went to their shop they returned the mobile without the job sheet.Now again i am facing the same problem!!
            I went for a Sony Ericsson mobile simply because of their claim of technological advancement and the quality of conversation even though all my friends advised against it.
            I am apalled at the poor performance of the handset and the "DONT CARE" attitude of the Retail Centre and the Service Centre.
            May I request you to intervene and help me out.
            I will never again go in for a Sony Ericcson mobile again and would recommend all not to go in for any Sony Mobile

            Sony Ericsson - K530i — Please help me escalate this problem against sony ericsson

            I had purchased a Sony Ericsson K530i on 03/11/08 from Hot SPOT, Basavangudi, Bangalore.

            My charger is not working & i had been to the Service centre which is Service point located at jaynagar 4th Block on 22nd July & submitted it to them & the Workorder Numer : SE309SP110473.

            I was really surprised to see the way Sony Ericsson Service Centre's are, its really a very bad experience for me as since this being a World reputed company i was really surprised by the state of affairs of this service centre, there was no proper inputs or answers to my queries.

            On asking them about a replacement of my charger they told it would take minimum of 15 days as they need to send this charger to chennai which is not acceptable to me & they dont have stock in Bangalore. I was really surprised by this since Sony Ericsson being a multinational has no stock of chargers in Bangalore which being a Metropol city, this being the state in Bangalore would like to know what would be the fate of other cities.

            I asked them for a standby charger incase it would be taking 15days to get a replacement which they were not willing to give.

            I had to finally give my faulty charger for a replacement as i had no other go & now i come to a conclusion that i'm a victim of Sony Ericisson Service which has really placed me in a discomfort zone as i would not be in a position to use my handset for next 15days without a charger.

            Today again I had called up Sony Ericssion after regular follow ups @[protected] & spoke with the floor supervisor Harish Kumar & he was just saying that there is no spare parts available at Bangalore & it would take few more days for getting a charger. Since i was not convinced i had asked him to transfer the call to his manager but he was reluctant stating he wont since this is the update & he will not do so, he was very reluctant to transfer the call to the manager.

            I would say that we are not at the mercy of Sony Ericssion since we have the right for replacement since my mobile is still in the warrany period & we do have the right for information.

            I do hope that someone from Sony Ericssion would read this & ensure the process gets changed & work in the right direction atleast in the future otherwise i wuld say that they would be wiped out from this segment.

            Also ensure that the service centre in Jaynager 4th block has some passionate guys who would help customers & should have the earge to work as a Customer suppport representative.

            My sincere advice to people who are purchasing Sony Ericssion mobiles to think twice as the service support is really very very bad & pathetic.

              I had purchased Sony LCD of 32" in V-Sereis on 9th, Jan. 2008 from Magic Electronics, Mulund. LCD Details are as given Below,

              Purchased date:- 9th, Jan-2008
              Dealer Name :- Magic Electronics, Mulund.

              Now the Incident Happened after 16 month, that is 4 month after Warranty Period,
              my TV was Black Out Automatically on 13th May-2009. i had launched the complaint on 13th, May - 2009. Complaint Details as given Below,

              As per my complaint, two representative from SONY Authorized service Center, Thane,
              Mr. Mani & Mr Shinu was came at my home on 15th, May-2009 & they take 2 board (Power Supply Board & BG1 Board) with them for checking purpose.
              On 16th, May-2009 eveining, Mr. Mehata ((by SONY Authorized service Center, Thane), called me & told me that BG 1 Board was damaged, u'll be charged of Rs. 15000/- for that.
              Here I'm Surprising, that for Rs. 52000 LCD why i can suffer with this type of problem within 16 month? whereas that is inside problem. it is not a problem from outside like Remote Control or any cord, which may damaged by me. its a totally company fault
              & for that reason only i request to mr. Mehata & Mr. Sashi ( representative of Magic Electronics, Mulund) that please you consider this problem in Warranty Period.
              After 10 days they told me that it is not possible to cover in warranty period.

              SONY is a very HOPLESS Company. they never bauther after selling their products. they Never give a proper service to customer after selling their product, if any problems happened.

              I fully agree about the attitude of Sony. I have faced similar problem regarding service of my 43" Projection TV. I have also heard that Sony has given its service centres on franchisee basis and the engineers are not their own . I dont know how far it is true but looking at the attitude of their staff it does seem to be correct. Sony is not bothered about after sales service. I am very disappointed that a company like Sony has this attitude

                Dear Sir,
                I had brought CDX-GT270S Car Audio system from Sony India 1 year back. Recently the front panel of the system was stolen from my car. I wanted to buy the Front Panel only so i contacted Sony India for help.

                My complain number is 'SonyIndia=[protected]'. There representative called me and informed me that they do not give Only the Front Panel separately. Sir, please note that Front Panel is a detachable part and thus constitute as a spare part. As per Govt. of India ruling no company can manufacture if thespare parts are not available.

                Request you to kindly help me fight this issue and bring me justice. I have all the other parts of the audio system but the front panel is only missing and agian reinvesting Rs.6000 is a very huge investment.

                Need you help and assistance and there are several others who are going through the same problem but they are yet to raise their voices.

                you are an , u live in india and you probably parked your tata in a poor area without hiding your stereo system...you might as well leave your mobile in your car with 10, 000 rupees sitting in the front passengers seat. and why do you think the front is detachable? obviously to prevent theft of the entire unit...if you think about it, if the front panel was not detachable, the entire stereo would be gone so it doesn't matter anyways.
                I also have same issue.

                Please let me know if you find any solution to this issue.

                Hmm.. same problem here a sony cdx 470us.. hope Mandeep Singh would be able to help us find our stolen stuff. I am sure smart Mandeep Singh has never lost anything in his life or had it stolen from him...IS that right Mr. Singh??
                Or he is a Car Stereo dealer who is happy when things like this happen to lesser mortals so we go running to people like him to buy another stereo

                  Description: I had purchased Sony Ericsson W595 (new set) on Dec 2008. However since April mid I had problems with my cell. It was unable to locate Service Provider network (No N/W bar indication).
                  The service center said it was beyond repair and so they would provide a new replacement cell as soon as possible.
                  Over the last one month, I have been repeated taking updates from them, with no avail. I get to hear different excuses every time i call them. It is not only frustrating but I also feel cheated.

                  Sony ericsson / W595 Mobile — Faulty Product

                  I bought Mobile from Hypercity on 14th feb 2009.
                  Within 7 days camera had some problem.
                  Uptill July it hasnot been solved by both Hypercity and sony erricsson.

                  now this mobile is faulty and i send it for replacement by TNT courier on dated 19/2/10 DOC No.[protected] but unfortunately this is back to me without replacement, i make a request again i send this again on dated 6/3/10 by TNT Doc No[protected] and till date i have not received my mobile. i am suffering from 2 month.
                  and when i contact to costumer care they are not give me any satisfied answer or not transfer the line to the senior and give me time for next 7 days or 5 days and 10 days , what is my fault, why i am suffering.

                  Sony Ericsson — pathetic after sales service

                  I had bought Sony u100i yari mobile phone in November 2009 and within 5 months it stopped working, when i gave it to sony ericsson service center for servicing, i was informed by them that it will take 3 days to get it replaced as its keys are not working. It has been more than 1 month and i havent got my cell back. Can somebody help in this regard? whenever i call the service center they always say it will take 2 more days. Can somebody pls help me in this matter?
                  Facing exactly the same issue. My phone is with the service center for 25 days and they say it will take one more week. The only difference here is that they tell you it will be ready in 2days whereas I am told next week.
                  Had higher expectations from Sony.

                  Sony Ericsson W595 — Pathetic After Sales Service

                  I bought a Sony Ericsson W595 on the 25th Aug, 2009 with a 1 year warranty. After about 11 months, suddenly its screen started flickering. I took it to Neeru Enterprises, Sony Ericsson service center in Atta Market, Noida. They just opened the front panel and without checking the Liquid damage indicator, proclaimed that the indicator was red and that the warranty was void. They said that the screen needed to be replaced even though the screen was fine. Only a strip connecting the two parts of the slider phone was malfunctioning. I became suspicious and asked them to return my phone so that I could take it to another service center. But they made an entry of my phone on their server and put warranty status void (because of liquid damage) even though the indicator was not red at all. The only thing wrong was that the screw used to tighten the screen had become rusty due to sweat which is pretty normal for any phone. I went to another center where they checked the repair history and said that even though the indicator was not read the warranty was now void since the other center people had made an entry onto the centralized server whcih could not be reverted. I would like to request Sony Ericsson not to place such cheats at their service centers. By doing this you are losing a lot of customers. I want this matter to be resolved ASAP. As it is I'm going to the consumer court against these thugs.

                  Sony Ericsson W595 — unsatisfied service. 3 months passed but not handed over the phone to me.

                  This to inform you that undersigned purchased a new handset (Handset Description is mentioned below) on 12.12.2009.
                  But just after 12 days of purchase undersigned faced sliding problem. It took almost 15 days to resolve. After that again the handset faced display problem. This time also it took almost 20 days to resolve.
                  Surprisingly again the handset faced a problem of spot on the display screen. There are two spot (Black coloured) visible on the screen which got sprayed causing non visibility of anything. Accordingly undersinged submitted the handset in SONY Eriction Authorized Service center (Located at A.K.Azad Road, Near Nepali Mandir ,Paltan Bazar, Guwahati 781008 Ph. No. [protected]) on 28.07.2010. Now it is about 50 days to pass but still i have not got my handset. Whenever i contact the Service centre always I am being told that non availibility of some spares. and they also can not confirm how much time it will take to complete the repairing process..

                  It is very surprising that after purchase of the handset almost 3 months i had to keep the hadnset in your Service centre. Does it viable?? is it the way to handle a customer?? Please help me in early repairing of the handset so that i can get it at the earliest or else i have to take legal action through court.

                    sir,
                    i m devendra verma from jodhpur, rajasthan in my phone created key pad problem. so solve this problem to give my phone in main service center sony ericsson jalori gate, jodhpur, this service center is totally liar his engg. replaced my new speker to old speker.so its really distorted sound in my speker after recive my phone to service center.and also not solved my keypad problem.

                        I am a customer of Sony Ericsson k790i mobile phone and i had given my mobile for the Repair of Ear speaker to the service center in mysore. The Receptionist & the Concerned Engineer informed that they would repair it and they charged me 600.00 Rs but they are not procuring the bill copy before & after the payment also to most of the customers and the fact is that they have not repired my cell & they had taken the full amount from my brother telling him that they have repaired it.So please take necessary action to avoid the public from cheating by a Company workers like this in Mysore...

                          I had bought a SE W580i on 08.03.09 in Bangalore Malleswaram 13th cross(Univercell).After 1 week onwards I am facing the problems

                          1) Mobile automatically switch off.
                          2) LoudSpearker is not working.(I am not able to heard the Incoming calls sound and Outgoing also same problem).
                          3)Battery also problem
                          4)Memory stick not inserted proberly.

                          I went to the SE service center(Bangalore Malleswaram 1st cross service center) 3 times.that guys upgrading the software only.No prober response.Today also I gave my mobile in to SE sevice center

                          so Any one higher authrotity take me the humble request and kindly give the prober solution for this problem as soon as possiable.take the prober action to the service center guys.

                          I did not expect such product and service from a service provides like Sony.After i Bought this mobile only all my friends and some body told this W580i model so many problem is there.so kindly stop the model otherwise configure proberly then release the model.

                            Normally customers thought that "cybershot" means its a techonology that it can take stills at the motion. But its not a technology and its a trademark of sony ericson. Day before i had taken one C510 sony cell phone. There is a symbol as "Cybershot 3.2 mega pixels auto focus" near the camera (on backside) but it wont take photos in motion and in sony authorised showroom itself they are not saying about this. (I had taken the cell in sony authorised showroom only)

                            Also we have to know that there is difference between auto flash and flash camera. Autoflash will work on darkness. Autoflash will sense the brightness and automatically flash and in normal camera sets we can adjust the flash. They will simlply say that it is a cybershot and autoflash.

                            Please be aware before purchasing any sony cell phones. (not only sony - all)

                            I bought new sony mobile c510 one month before, But it makes many problema the screen showing mirror text and image and the screen split int two parts and showing mirror text and image .While making call its very slow and sometimes it gets hang after remove the battery and fix only its work.

                            I have sony ericsson c510 mobile...when i am trying to send a message to more that 10 persons at a time then it sends it as a mms that has a greater charge than sms.....is it a bug in the models ...
                            Previously i have sony k530i which i have used for more than 18 months and at that time i was using the same sim card i have changed this mobile 10 days before.In k530i it never happened if i send the sms to more than 10 peoples at one time...and i had used only text not any picture.....i have tested it for 4-5 times....till 10th record it takes as a sms and when i adds 11th or more contacts then it takes all the sms as a mms..

                            Its not a problem with my phone or the service provider......but its only with this whole range of this model ......i have also confirmed with the other persons having same models and different service providers but its a bug with this model.....

                            SIr , i gave my mobile for service, fault happened in main board , so they sent my mobile to company in chennai ,,,, they told just it take less than 20 days to get back ,, but until now i didn't get my mobile back... i gave mobile on 19th april and i gave warrenty upto end of august, daily i am asking them but they not responding and they telling that this week it will come ... like that they told for 2 weeks.... but now 45 days over...... my order no is 111619..

                            XPERIA Z1 SELF DAMAGING SCREEN

                            The phone was lying on desk unattended for half an hour just to notice that display is self cracked. There wasn't anyone in the room even touch it. No question of physical damage.

                              I've bought Sony Ericsson C-702 two months ago, Now I'm facing hanging problem, it hangs during the talks and after 10-15 seconds it again started working and sometimes call goes missed or cut.                                 Hi,

                                Few months back had purchased a Vaio for home use, but the screen has now cracked.

                                I am SONY brand loyal person, from spool tapes, to walkmans, cd player, LCD tv, home theater, cameras, mobile phone… etc I and my family are a big fan of sony, which made me buy a vaio as well. I have been using laptops for more then 9 years now (have used Dell, IBM, Compaq, Toshiba)

                                This is the first time I have faced a problem with a laptop and a sony product. The vaio screen is VERY delicate. I have given the machine to the service center (Andheri E, Mumbai) and they say the screen is damaged so is not part of the warranty. I mean I am looking for some help, I want to fix my problem. But why should I pay Rs 13000 for a lcd screen which is very delicate, it’s a manufacturing defect. If it had been my mistake, I would have definitely got it fixed myself, but in this case I need a better solution than by just saying it damaged.

                                Please help by replacing the screen. Point I am trying to make is, that I know how to handle laptops, but in this case the screen is very fagile.

                                Hi, I also have exactly the same problem with a newly bought Sony Vioa laptp. It's so frustrating that Sony service center in Bangalore is trying to get away with this by aking it as physical damage as if I hammered it. I feel helpless.

                                  I have last year in the month of August purchased Sony laptop. Since begining I was facing problem like computer not shuting down for which I had to again and again remove the battery to shut it dowm, camera not working properly and the date and time changing every time I switched the laptop.

                                  I have already twice sent my laptop for servicing to Sony Service satation in Mumbai once in the month of October 08 and again in the month of April 09 but there is no improvement in the performance and the problem persists.

                                  I am disappointed with Sony to manufacture such below par product and also with their after sales service as even after servicing twice of my laptop the problem has not been resolved

                                    I bought a Sony Ericsson G502 mobile 2 months back only. The silver coating around the phone and on the keys are coming out and it seems to be a nickel coating(info. from my friend). When I asked about this n a service center they just replied that they wont take this as a issue and if I want to complain I have to bring at least 4 to 5 person with the same problem and sign the complaint letter. This is so stupid that they wont show interest on a single customer's complaints! I need to solve this immediately because I do not want the rest of the coating to fall off like a distemper on a wall.

                                    Me and one of my friend had got the G502 on the same week and is just 2.5 months old now. The silver coating on both of our keypad has come out. :-( :-(
                                    I too have a G502 and the quality of keyboards is very bad, almost 3 keys are missing, where can I buy Keyboard in India

                                      I hasd purchased this mobile in December2008 from Vasco da gama, Goa.1 months after purchase the display started showing some ragged pictures and it started to show nil/blue dispaly only, . I complained to the shop from where I had purchased this product and they said that they will send it to sony ericsson certified service center in Panjim.But the center replied thatr they cannot do this because it was damaged by liquid .I cant beleive that because my phone never came in contact with any liquid .I am now feeling helpless because there is not a single sony ericsson service center in Goa.It seems to me that sony ericsson phones are more often than not developing this problem because I have already seen these cases in my office already.hope some sony ericsson guy is reading this message and tries to sincerely correct thuis

[protected]. total quation given for Rs. 5200/- cracking display, body broken and other reparig . due to nonavailabilty of body service center not started reparing work as per quation . work order no. se310cs117370 dated 9/10/2010 . today date is 4/11/2010, already they had taken about 24 days and while enquiry about my mobile they are telliny that it will take another 10 day to get work done. and they are telling due to non-avaibaility of body it may take more time due this all process my daily rouinte has changed i have to reach there office within 5 to 6 days in all this all 24 days of process.As iam in my 60 year it hurt me when such a senior person reach the office of such reputated company. So you are requested to investiget in the matter and do the need ful for the sorting out the problem.

                                        sony ericsson is promoting its laptop advertisement wrongly. I got a e-mail saying that if i forward their ads to 8 of my friends, they will give me a Ericsson T18 Laptop and if i forward the same ads to 20 of my friends, they will give me Ericsson R320 Laptop. I did so a year back but i have not recieved any laptops so far. top to it i received same fake promtions today.so i thought to write to consumer court. plz help me how to deal with this situation? i got the email of sony ericsson. if you can give me your email id i will forward you the same.
