Purchase LED TV on Oct 2017 at sony center velachery chennai.\due to pandemic we used only 3 years. We got display problem couple of times not able to fix.The only solution just replace the display which cost about 37k.
Already spent 110000.All sub stranded materials used to assemble at sony India. The same model my friend brought from Qatar 2016.Still running in good manner without any single issue.

    We purchased Sony Bravia 55 inch 4k android TV from Sony center on Aug 2017 at velachery chennai.Hardly used 3 yrs and 2yrs we were in our hometown due to pandemic situation. Within 3 yrs couple of times display got problem.first time it was repaired by troubleshoot.now not recovered.Based on the brand value purchased hence realized all substandard material used.few of my friends were purchased from middle east still working good without any single problem.pls Don not purchase Sony TV from India.

          I have a Sony 55 inch LED tv and one fine day it stopped working and didn’t open. I complained to Sony Service Centre, Panchkula, Haryana. A service rep and without opening or checking the tv said that there was a defect with the mother board and so had to take the tv to the service centre. They took the tv and did not give any estimate nor he gave any receipt for the TV and it was handed over on good faith.
          The tv is with the service centre since 23 July and till date it has not been repaired nor there has been any call from the service centre.
          I have been contacting the service centre and the reply given is that the part is not available with Sony India !! So vertically telling me that the TC which costed me around a lakh of rupees is now worthless and I can buy a new tv at 25-30 % discount ??
          I am surprised at the way Sony india is providing after sales service - no parts available ??
          I have escalated the mattar to you so that necessary action can be taken for repair of my TV failing which I will be forced to go to court as well as on social media for unethical practices by Sony india by not providing the parts.
          An urgent action on your part is requested .

            Dear Team Sony,


            I have purchased this Sony 40Ex520 LED Tv in Feb 2012. Within exactly 2 years, the TV's screen panel has got discoloration problem. There are blue vertical lines on the screen and there is a green haze also in the upper part of the screen. When I took this Tv to sony service center, they have informed that the panel has a problem and it needs to be replaced. Since the warranty period was over, I was asked to bear the replacement cost which was quoted about Rs. 22000/-. I got my Tv back without repairing becoz I am not willing to spend this much on just a 2 year old Tv which is supposedly the most expensive and best brand in India/worldwide. I put my hard earned money in purchasing this TV instead of going for smaller & cheaper brands thinking that this will have longer life.


            Now when I am fed up of the screen as it is creating a big strain on my eyes. I researched on the internet and found that there are many people suffering from the same problem in this KDL EX520 series Tv. For each one of them the screen had this same problem in exactly 2-2.5 years after purchase.


            My concern is the cost for replacement of the panel which your company is not ready to bear and neither will I. Its your manufacturing defect as agreed by your service center as well as your response to some customer's queries also shows that. A company of your size and repute should ideally recall such defective TV and replace the panel by themselves.


            The Sony Support Center does nothing apart from charging hefty amount to innocent customers who are fooled by your company's marketing skills and brand value. They charge anything between 22000 to 28000 for the display panel which are defective pieces in the first place. Dont you guys test your products before selling or Sony knew it and still sold it in the market. Almost everyone is facing this problem and that too in exactly two year time, after which the warranty is finished.


            I just want you to replace the panel. I have gathered data of about 65 such customers from your site itself who are facing this problem. We are going to start a negative campaign about the problems of Sony tv in National MEDIA including tv channels, daily newspapers, blogs and social networking site. We will make sure that these incidents of fraud reaches to your every potential fool customer. Also, we have decided to lodge a complaint in consumer court as well as criminal court of law. We will make sure that the company pays every penny worth of amount looted from the customer. Your company's apathy in this matter shows a lot about your fair practices.

                    We bought a 55 inch sony tv 2 years back... We are facing horizontal lines on the display... This is the 2nd time we are having the same problem with the tv... First time tv was in warrenty... Now again... This is so ridiculous... Y cant products be manufactured that it runds properly for years... I think this is manufacture defect... Can't a tv perform normally for atleast 5 years... Kindly look into the issue and provide a replacement for my tv... We can't repair again and again for the same problem which costs around 30k each time... This is pathetic... Kindly provide replacement for tv or the screen as soon as possible...

                        I've registered a play station 5( under guarantee) to Sony service centre, Sakchi, Jamshedpur regarding game issues ( ps5 game not working) on 30/05/2022. It is now almost one and a half month and still they are not giving any response of repair or replacement of ps5. Anyday if I call or go to the service centre they just give excuses of this and that and assure me that it will be replaced in 1 week. After 1 week when I call them, they give another excuse and give me some another dates. I've not purchased my ps5 to keep in the service centre. Hence please look into this matter.

                          We bought Sony led Android TV in 2016 and we are facing repeated display issues. In 2019, we lost the display and we had to bear the cost of close to 18 k and get it resolved. Now it's again the same problem we are facing and the only way to make tv to work is change th le display as per service centre guy visited. We had spend close to 84 k till now. We request to look into the issue try to do the needful.

                              Have purchaed Sony TV model No. KD-43X80J on[protected] from Vijay Sales with extended warranty of 4 years on loan from Bajaj Finservice amouting to Rs. 72000/-

                              Instalation done on[protected] from that day I was facing issue TV screen stops if i switch on or off fan, light or door bell ring etc I have raised the complaint and asked them to replace the product but they did not do they said the problem is of HDMI cable I replaced my existing cable purchased new HDMI cable but problem was not solved. Again I made complaint and said to replance but technician came said HDMI cable issue I purchased HDMI cable from him. But the problem was not that often but it was there and I did not complain becoz they will give me same reason.

                              Now on 28/06/2022 tv was off when it was on at 6:30 pm it was not working. Have made complaint on[protected]. My complaint allocated to authorised service centre M/s GSS Quick Garage India Pvt Ltd technician came on 29/06/2022 and said mother board problem I requested to replace the product since it was giving problem from the day one. It is still under warranty period. I am following up with them but they are not ready to replace they are saying company will not replace they will provide new part.

                              I want replacement of the product or refund amount what I have paid Rs 72000/-

                              Request you to please resolve my issue.

Aapke engineer aaye tuesday ko unhone kha chip lagegi agar usse kaam ho gya toh aapko 3000 rs charges lagegenge nhi toh motherboard change hoga usme aapko 10000 charges lagenge. 07/07/2022 Aaj tak koi nhi aaya call karte h switch aa rha h. Please sir immediately solve my problem. Last option aapki company ki rti complaint register karni padegi. Bahut pareshaan kar diya h aapki company...

                                  I bought a new TV KDL43W6600 on 20.12.20. But after only 18 months of purchase the TV started developing repeated problems in HDMI ports even one week after replacement of the ports after payment of the hefty requisite fee. Again service personnel were called. Repeated visits by the service personnel on both the occasions added salt to injury as more of our TV-viewing time was wasted. No solution has still been offered. Is this the quality of TV and service offered by a world renowned company like Sony offer customers ??

                                    My Sony bravia kdl 43w800d suddenly stopped working. I logged a complaint with request ID 70306476. Next day technician went to my home and checked the tv and said tv need to take to service centre to check the issue. After two days, I received a call from technician Montu([protected]) saying “main board of tv is not working and need to replace and since your tv model is discontinued from the service, I have to close the ticket and repair your main board offline which will coast Rs. 10000.” When I denied to pay that much amount technical delivered my tv unrepaired.
                                    What kind of service is this from Sony…!!!
                                    I feeling guilty of myself that I bought Sony tv. No common man can afford this much service cost (replacement of main board).
                                    Please help to resolve my query.
