Hello

This is regarding my FRESH complain no. 70292099 raised on 16 June 2022.

My Sony TV model 55 cm KD - 55X80AJ purchased on 08 October 2021 from Amazon [ invoice No. SDEX- 76006].

After proper installation, after few month the TV reported sudden inbuilt crossed thin line across the screen without any physical damage. The case was reported directly to the service centre haldwani ie, Shradha Enterprises haldwani, Uttarakhand in the month of April 2022

Since I reported the case manually, I dont have details about the exact date. The technician visited and created the case of panel replacement and assured 15 days replacement. Since then, we have not received any update on the matter. We tried following up with the Centre and Technician, but the matter has been delayed for whatever reasons for more than 2 months now.

With much Delay and Surprise, the centre created the order for the TV panel on 11 June 2022 [ As told by the head office toll free number] and received the panel on 15 June 2022.

Also, the service centre claims that the manual complaint is recorded only on the excel sheet and the head office has no record about complaint raised manually. Thus I suffered a delay of more than 2 month, because even after recording my complaint on the month of April, the order for the panel was raised on June 11 2022.

This has been a extreme case of neglignce and irrsponsible behaviour towards customer complaint. I want to request a TV replacement because of the delay that i have suffered.

    With disappointment I am sending this mail.My home theatre HTIV300 is eligible for home service and I have booked home service through toll free no 3 weeks back.
    I got a call from service centre trinity solns asking me to bring the system to their service centre as there are limited field staff to provide service at my residence. I told the person I am not intrested in bringing my system to the service centre and as I am eligible for home service and I want to get it repaired at my residence. After lengthy dilagoues they finally send a technician and he reached my home and opened the system and he told me he has to take it to the service centre to rectify the problem and he couldn't exactly identify the problem. I told him as I do not want to take the system to their service centre and want to rectify it at my residence he connected his superior over phone .His superior told me they can rectify the issue only in the service centre and if I am not giving the system they cannot get it repaired.
    My system SONY DTH 5 is elegible for home service and I do not want to take it to the service centre as I heard for minor issues they are asking to change the entire board and charge clients exorbitantly.
    I am using more than 3 Sony products for the last 20 years and totally disappointed with the attitude of service persons reluctance to solve the problem in my residence even my system is eligiblefor homeservice and I am ready to pay for it. I don't understand why these people are so adamant in taking the system to the service centre to find the error.Either these service persons does not have necessary skills to identify the problems at customers premises or they lack the skillset to do it.I request you to send properly trained technician to identify the problem with my system and get it solved in my residence and I will pay for it.I Request you to send skilled people with required tools who can sort out the exact problem and get it cleared in my residence instead of taking the system to the service centre and in their customer restricted zone they blindly asking the clients to change the entire board for minor issues which I heard from persons with bitter experiences before .
    Kindly go through the testimonials in the attachment and do the needful to get my issue resolved at the earliest

        I purchased Sony Bravia KDL43W300D Android tv four years back only. Last week it went out of order, there were no pictures on screen but only colored lines. I got registered a complaint vide service I'd no. 70159502 on Sony India customer care on June3, 2022.
        which was transferred to their Vaishali Ghaziabad service center for resolution.
        The engineer first told us to replace Tkon board @16200/- INR (which seemed very hafty considering my purchase price was approx INR.55000/-). Seeing no option I consented.
        But after 2-3days I again received a call from the service centre telling me that the part was not available so either I take back my faulty unit back home (a no-option sort as there is no point of keeping non-functional tv set at home) or I go for an exchange. They want me to exchange my four years old unit with another one of the same value by paying a price of additional Rs.34, 000/-INR.
        I find myself cornered by the company Sony India whom I have trusted for the last more than 20years. I really don't know what to do except request the company to come out with a better exchange offer.
        Submitting this to SONY INDIA for a favorable resolution at the earliest.

          We brought Sony Bravia Android tv W80D in reliance digital Hyderabad A.S.Rao Nagar branch on 1st May 2017. With the registered mobile number - [protected]. It costs around 70K around by then and suddenly stopped working and throwing flickering screen. Such a worst product manufacturing from Sony, it's just only 5 years old and costed 70K but started troubling all of a sudden.

            I searched for SONY authorized service center for my LCD SONY BRAVIO in Pune.
            I come across with Digital electronics services in Sudarshan nagar 5, pimple gurav Pune .

            He came at home and took TV for repair. He was wearing SONY service center Apron.

            It was for LCD Polarizer Film Replacement front and back for 26inches.

            The part was not available with him in pune, so I got that part for 2500 including courier for him and gave to him.

            to my surprise there was no store, it was just room in basement. It was not even SONY Service center, No registration no Board.

            the person name Gokul ([protected])was not available in the place, so I couldn't see my TV. I kept the part and told him (Arun - [protected] the person in the place ) to call me.

            He have not yet called me and the he is not picking phone.
            People be aware with FAKE Service centers

              I am a regular client of yours and purchased lots of product from Croma and always prefer Sony in electronic items.

              This time I regret to inform you that Wireless stereo headset WH-CH510 working good, sound is awesome but the material used is not good stuf[censored]sed in the headset is torn. Need this to be replaced from your end.

                Sony Bravia model 42W850A boot issue

                I bought sony bravia KDL-42W850A TV in 2014 in 85K. Now facing problem in TV with error prompt "some applications are unavailable due to boot error". Your service engineer visited & confirm for motherboard issue. Kindly confirm for the motherboard availability on priority as I want to replace it. If not, what will be the other solution to repair the same at the earliest....

                Recently we had a physical damage to Sony Bravia n the screen was showing horizontal lines for this we replaced our panel last month. After replacing the new panel while watching TV it s display turned black with no sound.after lodging the complaint the technician is not giving any guarantee for further issues. Why the branded company like Sony is loosing the customers trust. Some people are emotionally connected to the brand so don't loose it. Please I kindly request you to be genuine with the product you are selling to the people. The parts of the product are very costly so do maintain the genuineness.

                  It’s has been a painful experience since buying, KD-43X80J, Sony’s TV. Barely weeks after the purchase the TV started to have Wi-Fi issues i.e. the Wi-Fi disconnects after power recycle. The Wi-Fi module was replaced but still the issue persisted.
                  It's been months since I am trying to get their attention to resolved the issue.
                  I have opened a new case again on CROMA, since the TV was bought from them, the technician came and promised a senior person will visit you. It has been 4-5 days since then.

                  Please, help me to get this resolved and hoping my complaint serve as reminder for other consumer to what to expect from brands like Sony.

                    This is inside 14 days. Not even 4 days passed. And how is one customer supposed to get a refund on the non playable game. U do know that your company will be fined big time for this mishap? Also u do know that this will be public?

                    We can surely consider your request of refund of the unplayable game but it is only possible by the Playstation team for which you will have to drop an email so that we can forward your request to them.

                      Hi team,
                      I am very much upset with the build quality of my Sony bravia KDL 43w800F model TV. I purchased it 3 years ago and I strictly use my TV for maximum of 2 hours only.

                      With such minimum usage and no physical damage my TV went into restart issue while I was watching. When inspected by Sony service center they said thr main board needs to be changed. They said the IC went into freezed state while it is getting power and everything properly but the IC is not working as expected. Now they charging me 10000 rs. For the main board to get replaced.

                      It is very disheartening to spend such huge amount even if there is manufacturing quality defect and it's been only 3 years.

                      Please help me with this, as it is like a trust breaking incident after spending such huge amount for TV just to use it for 3 years.

                        Hi team,

                        I bought the Sony 5.1 Channel Soundbar HT-S20R on the 13th of March 2022 and having problems since then. Even my Philips/F&D speaker system worth ₹2500/- with relatively lower sized woofers/speakers have much more bass compared to this home theatre system worth ₹16500/-.

                        Raised a complaint immediately with Croma and engineer was sent to investigate.

                        He came twice and reported that there was no problem at all with the speaker system however, raised the complaint again and after the 3rd visit, he said that there was issue with the speake/woofer system.

                        He came in later after 15 days with some part to be replaced but ended up crashing the whole system, now the system even refused to start.

                        Sony service center sent someone to pick up the speaker system on 29th April 2022 so that the problem can be resolved at the Sony service center and informed that the product should be delivered back by Saturday if not on Monday by the latest.

                        It has been 11 days now and I haven't heard anything yet from the service center regarding the progress of the repair nor I have received any email regarding the complaint number.

                        I did not expect this kind of service from Sony. I feel cheated and have wasted my money buying this piece of crap which refused to work right from day one.

                        I need refund or a brand new speaker system as I did not pay for a refurbished/repaired product. The product was faulty when it was delivered.

                          I have purchased sony tv on 06.05.22 model KDL-43W6600. The person came on 07.05.22 for installation. He provided us with movable stand, Syscom stabilizer P-50 and remote cover. They charged Rs. 4850.00 I have requested the bill but they say only for stabiliser they will give bill. They said stabiliser costs rs.2300.00 but while I checked it is rs.1500.00. i chated with sony tv service centre movable stand is not recommend but they fixed movable stand. I need to know whether the amount given to the installation person is right or not? We already have stabiliser but he said it is not suitable for sony tv. He charged Rs. 300 for remote cover.                             Purchased Sony Stereo with Details as Item: STE 15.7 CM MM XAV-1500, WEBLINK, Part No.: 990J0M83KD9-650, Batch: AA on 20.12.2021 from Competent Automobiles Co. Ltd., Connaught Place, New Delhi.

                            The product worked initially for few days and later on not working completely.

                            Approached the seller and services center multiple times, both advised to change the data cables multiple times. It works for 1 or 2 times onwards not working.

                            It is causing convenience to approach every time.

                            The system carries product warranty of 2 years.

                            Please resolve the issue.

                              Purchased Television W830-32 INCH HD Ready LED Smart Android TV-KD 32W830 from Vijay Sales, Little world mall, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai on 17.03.2022. Got it installed on 21.03.2022. On 24.03.2022, started observing flickering line on TV Screen. Raised complained on 27.03.2022- ID no. 69499963. From then till now just following up from customer care without any success. Additionally, screen starting to show parrot green illuminated lines along the edges occasionally. Connectivity issues with WiFi also developed. Sony team did managed to send one technician also. But he seemed very clueless after observing the issues. He did take photographs and videos of problems observed and promised to show it to their management persons. But after that they all became unreachable. No one responding now.
                              First they sold a corrupt, malfunctioning television in first place, then they avoid and do not address the issues raised. Enough time passed now. Kindly do the desirable solution: either replace the Television or refund the amount. Please do not DUPE anyone.

                                Recently our 6 and half year old Sony Bravia to refused to operate so we contacted a Sony authorised dealer who took nearly 5000 plus for parts purchase.However they later refused to replace the parts and said that since this was an old model the parts were not manufactured.Now they are offering a new tv and asking us to pay Rs35, 000/- for that.now what type of customer service and brand value is this .We have taken the decision to take this matter to the consumer forum.

                                  We bought a 55 inch sony tv 2 years back... We are facing horizontal lines on the display... This is the 2nd time we are having the same problem with the tv... First time tv was in warrenty... Now again... This is so ridiculous... We have washing machine, AC, Bike engine, Car engine and many more running properly for many years.. None of them tell us to go for warrenty extension... Only Tv has less warrenty of 1 year... And ask us to extend warrenty... Y cant products be manufactured like washing machine, AC, Bike or Car engine... They run for more than 10 years without a problem... I think this is manufacture defect... Cant a tv perform normally for atleast 5 years... Kindly look into the issue and provide a replacement or provide a repair for my tv...
