My Service Request ID 68908807 is assigned to Sony Service center-- Bee Dee.Com ; Dibrugarh ; Phone No:[protected], dated 25.01.2022.
Second day of complain, they asked me to provide photo of the TV ( while it is on) to understand the problem. After receipt of my photos, they informed that the TV panel has got damaged and need to be replaced and will send technician to my house to take photos of model number etc. But it is very strange that till now they have not send technician.
In the mean time, I took photo of model number of my TV and sent it to them asking whether the photo is okay or not…..however they don’t have common sense to respond my queries…..

Please enquire the matter and do the needful at the earliest from your end…..
Please treat it an URGENT…..

    Second day of complain, they asked me to provide photo of the TV to understand the problem.       Good Day,

      This is to inform you that I have purchased Sony Android TV Model No - KDL-43W800D on 19th April 2016 from Reliance digital, Diamond City Mall, Kolkata.

      Please note self has called Sony customer care and asked for technician as the TV screen was not working, when the TV is switched on a white screen used to come. The technician visited the place on 06th Jan 2022 and advised that the panel board has to be changed and they have to order it from the head office. They have given an estimate of 7500/-. The technician has also taken Rs 4000/- advance for the product. We used to call them and ask about the product, they used to say we had ordered and it takes 2 to 7 days to arrive.

      But, suddenly today on 11th January 2022, I received a call from the service center that the parts are not available and the only option left for you is to exchange the TV with a new one.

      1. In case the parts were not available, how the order was taken and parts were ordered?
      2. How the advance was taken by the customer. as far i know the technician has to check for parts available prior to taking advance. How can it be possible?
      3. As a brand, the TV was purchased in 2016 and In 2022 there are no parts available, how can it be possible?
      4. Why does the customer have to bear more expenses by exchanging, when parts of the Sony brand are not available with them, after receiving the Advance?

      This really creates a terrible experience with Sony as a Brand. It is harassing us.

      Hope you will be giving a better solution to the above.

      This is in reference to your emails to Sony India dated 11th, 13th and 15th Jan 2022 regarding your Sony BRAVIA TV Model KDL-43W800D, bearing Serial no. 8509396 purchased on 19th Apr 2016.

      We understand your concern towards the service of your BRAVIA.

      We received service request of your set at our Authorized Service Center M/s Neosa Electronics, Gouri Bari vide Job no. JA0025846 dated 6th Jan 2022 with symptom – red LED blinking 5 time after white display. Upon inspection of the set by our engineer, the Mounted PWB E-T-CON and Flexible Flat Cable needs to be replaced to service the product.

      We are having difficulty in getting the necessary part. As an alternate service solution, we offer to exchange your TV with our latest model KD-43X75 at a special price of INR 44, 509/-. We would like to inform you that this price is offered to you as our valued customer.

      The new product comes with normal standard warranty which is also extendable to two more years by paying an additional amount. Sony India Pvt Ltd will retain the complete defective set as part of this exchange offer.

      You may also choose any other model from our current line-up and let us know, so that we can communicate the special price to you. You may visit our website www.sony.co.in to select from the current range of our Sony BRAVIA TV & inform us so that we can proceed further accordingly.

      This matter has been discussed with the Management.

      We regret that we may not be able to comply with your request to service your product.

      We would request you to evaluate our offer and confirm your decision on or before 24th Jan 2022. We solicit your kind understanding in this regard.

      Dear Moumita Ghosh,

      With reference to your below mail, once again i would like to inform you that i trusted Sony Brand, so purchased TV on 2016. at present seeing the service of Sony i am really getting frightened to use Sony further. I purchased TV on 2016 and its not been 5 years fully and Sony cannot find a part of it and advising us to exchange the product.

      In this case i purchased KDL-43W800D at 66900/- and with the defect it was costing me around 7500/- . Your Service center was been called up for the service and he advised that the parts been ordered. In this case, if the parts were not available, How the order was placed?. Normally advance amount from the customer to be taken once the parts are available.

      Request you to advise on the questions below-
      1. In case the parts were not available, how the order was taken and parts were ordered?
      2. How the advance was taken by the customer. as far i know the technician has to check for parts available prior to taking advance. How can it be possible?
      3. As a brand, the TV was purchased in 2016 and In 2022 there are no parts available, how can it be possible?
      4. Why does the customer have to bear more expenses by exchanging, when parts of the Sony brand are not available with them, after receiving the Advance?
      5. Incase exchanged again after warranty period again Sony will tell us that Parts not available again you have to exchange.

      In this case how we as a customer can trust Sony Once again. there are many bad reviews in internet showing the service of Sony. In case i buy the any other product, hopefully it will show defects after 2-3 yrs and you will advise customers to exchange it with another one rather providing parts.

      As per your mail, You advised that present TV will be exchanged, and what about the others parts which is there in present TV. may be the present TV parts will be beneficial to Sony for other customers.

      For exchange why shall customer have to bear a huge charges of 44509/-, where there is fault with Sony. there are many other brands which is better than Sony who provide good customer service as well as they have parts and try to procure in time as well the price from Sony is also less.

      The Sony has kept the price as same before but the service has become worst. if you are understanding the concern of Customer, then request you to take your Sony defective TV and give us old price for the TV, so that we can look into the matter what to buy next.

      This is also in reference to your telephonic conversation with our Area Service In-Charge Mr. Narayan Santra and our previous communication dated 17th Jan 2022 in this regard.

      Our Management is aware of your complaint and of the resolution given to you. We have already offered you the final resolution.

      We had requested you to confirm your decision on or before 24th Jan 2022. As you did not approve, we had closed your service request. Should you wish to go ahead with the given exchange offer later, you may register a fresh service request or visit our service center. Fresh inspection and troubleshooting will be done, and estimate / offer will be applicable, as prevalent, at that time. We solicit your kind understanding in this regard.

        Following up since last 15 days. TV is under repair. Authorised service centre is useless in the name of customer support. Estimate given earlier for iNR 8449. I paid the advance amount also. Now, after 1 week, the executive calls to say that the Estimate has been revised by another additional INR 5K because the part number is not available! And i am forced to pay as the service centre has my TV and advance money also! Is this what Sony does to increase profits - fleece loyal customers?

          Iam playing Sony liv games like cricket battle from 2 January to 9 January they have not credited money and no response is giving for my mail and they are crediting money from 9th January and from 6 days they are not crediting my winning amounts I cricket battle 25, 25, 15, 25, 15, 25, 25=155 is not crediting and from 6 days also please solve the issue thank you.

            Have purchased above tv from Croma New Link Road Andheri west outlet on[protected] just 2 months old currentlty under brand warranty.
            Have experienced internal damage on panel without any single minor scratch on outside panel.
            Internal damage is only visible once TV is on.
            Sony Service Center Technician has declared as physical damage but not in position to explain the cause for same as surprise to see not a single scratch on outside panel and asking for INR 40000 for repair cost by giving upfront discount of 20%.
            My family is not accessing the TV since last 25 days and no upfront communication is received from sony authorized service center.
            Croma is also trying to get the justification for damage but sony service center is declining same.
            Request for immediate replacement of TV set..

              My headphones Wh 1000-xm3 started making troubles earlier for its immediate turning off while using .Then I take my headphone to my closest service center they take my headphone and check it after a day I called them they say my product doesn't have any issue.
              However, after taking back to my home same problem arises. I take that to service center 2-3 times they always give me the same answer that after charging they are working perfectly...

                Instead of solving problem SONY team is forcing me to buy new TV and telling they don't have spare parts available, so please buy new TV we will give you special price. Which is completely unethical and unprofessional.

                I really disappointed by seeing such reply form SONY TV. Please support in providing repairing service/

                    I have Sony TV model : KDL-46W950A.

                    The TV Stopped working with 4 red lights. Raised a complain with Sony service. Request ID : 68608358.

                    A Technician came and told he not sure on which part is the problem. SO he will send the info to Sony core team and get back.

                    They called and told the TV parts are not available any more so take a new TV with discount of 23K (Where an my TV costed Rs 1, 10, 000 a 3D for which they are giving 2D TV).

                    When asked about the information on which part is the issue. The service centre people are saying Sony should say and Sony is saying service team should say). They are not even giving the job receipt number.

                        I filled the form of ESIC and made the payment at my through upi mode my refrence id of payment[protected],[protected]
                        I made the payment twice and both time my payment deducted but my application didn’t forward after that . Pls refund my amount of 500( 250 each)

                          I bought a new sony 55 inch 4k HDR Android TV 80 J model 2 days back and the technician has not yet come to install the tv, it's so disappointing, even the service is not good, they are not picking up the calls only, Too bad, didn't expect this from such a reputed company !!! KINDLY RESOLVE THE PROBLEM ASAP !!!

                            Our long pending complaint is not addressed and we are harassed for accepting an offer for exchange for a costly TV to a cheaper one and that too after we pay almost the same amount for the exchange offer which is close to market rate, all this is for a brand we trusted and have till date spent 92K in a TV which was twice repaired for which we have paid once 62 for purchase and then 21K for exchange and then 9K for repairs and now they are not even listening to our issue but also forcing us to either accept the offer or close the case

                              Dear Support Team Member,
                              So today, my SonyLiv account randomly stopped working. We have SonyLiv included in our plan of Jio Fiber, so now, me and my family can't access our favorite tv shows. It shows generic error and we cant log in via our TV too, so please help me.

                                I have paid INR999 to SonyLIV for one year premium subscription on 27th Nov'2021. Post which i got access and I have used my premium account comfortably till mid December.

                                Around 20 to 25th December, i noticed i got log out from my account and when i tried log in again as a premium member, the app responded as i am not a premium customer and hence i need to recharge or pay for full year subscription.

                                After the same issue, i tried reaching multiple times to SonyLIV through contact us facility available in app along with payment reference, account details etc. however received no response and still struggling to access my premium account. Please help either a access or full refund as it caused lot of inconvenience.

                                      Hi,
                                      I was not informed that my LazyPay account will be automatically deducted for Rs 999 on[protected] for renewal of 1 year subscription of Sony Liv.

                                      The amount got deducted on its own.
                                      I was about to use my coupon for renewal of my subscription.

                                      When I wrote a mail to SonyLiv customer support [protected]@sonyliv.com, they said I was informed earlier which never happened. Then they wrote another email where they said I should have cancelled the subscription myself earlier.

                                      Lies after Lies.

                                      I have repetedly told them in email that I wasn't informed earlier and money was automatically deducted without my consent.
                                      Now, in the last mail they are wishing that I could have written the mail earlier for cancellation, but they never bothered to tell me that they were going to deduct Rs 999 automatically.

                                      It wasn't communicated even in the 1st mail during registration last year that the subscripition amount will be automatically deducted .

                                      Please cancel the subscription and refund my amount of Rs.999.
