    Hi sony india,

    I holding an sony hx50v camera, given to sony authorized service center, hyderabad, due to problem - "reinsert memory card error and hand wheel controller mall functioning" on 03rd jun 2017, ref job num # j71353899.

    Initially when i given camera to them, they said there is problem with software, need to be updated/reformatted.

    Its been 135 days, the camera still in service center only, every time (More than 5 times) when i called them they saying " there is another problem with camera, some or other parts need to be replaced, now they are quoting approx 4500/- for my camera. I don't know what exactly happening on this case.

    Sony india - i would expect to answers for below questions?

    1. Where is transparency between customer and service center? Because initially its software issue, then turned into part replacement, with charge of 4500/-?

    2. Where the company is taken care/tracking mechanism of all these requests? Because my case has been opened since 135 days?

    3. Where is the communication mechanism to customer? Because there is no communication to me on my request?

    4. Why should i wait so so long time - 135 days for camera repair, and that too much of charges? What sony company or service center going to compensate for this delay or their poor services?

    I would expecting to answer all my 4 questions without any miss.

    We have purchased sony tv 48 inch from Ropar (Punjab ) on dated 21.10.2016 & problem occured before one year warrenty period, I hv complained on 30 sep 2017 but till date my TV problem not rectified .

      I am a regular customer of your esteemed company. Few months before i have purchased a sony home theater model no. Hbd-dz350 & serial no-6206946, but in the back of dvd and sound box is written as made in china. My question is that, is it you are not cheating the customer for selling chinease product in the name of sony. And if not please clarify how i can believe that the product which i have purchased is made by sony.in this connection i am attaching herewith some photo of the said product. Your early response will be highly appreciated.

          I had purchased 32" sony bravia (Model no. Klv32ex300) lcd on 2012

          After 1.10 years of successfully running, the display is gone all of a sudden - lcd colors are not coming properly and the plastic layer is created on screen which is creating very poor picture quality and in turn can't see the same.

          After checking with service centre, lcd panel needs to be replaced and it will cost around inr 12000+service charges!!!


          Why premier brand like sony is discriminating customers like this? If they know they have manufacturing quality issues with lcd panels, they should have replaced the lcd panel with minimal amount irrespective of country as sony is not a local company, it’s a global one and get good customers satisfaction.

          If an lcd tv from a brand like sony doesn’t work for even 3-5 years, on what basis should customers differentiate between sony and other brands? It makes more sense to buy products from cheaper brands which cost far less, and unfortunately

          If there are problems, the repairs are also going to be cheaper.

          Even if lcd panel is replaced, what if it stops working after a year or two? I believe sony will come asking for more money to replace that as well. It therefore turns out to be a heavy investment buying a sony product and investing on it year after year to keep it functional. And i have no reasons to believe that the replaced panel will work longer.

          To make things more frustrating, customer care is hopeless. I have called them n times, and they either disconnect after keeping me on long hold, or transfer the call, or promise a callback or give some phone numbers to call, which nobody answers. This is the worst experience with sony and after getting this kind of experience i will stop buying products from sony and also ask my relative, friends & colleagues not to buy sony products.

            Dear customer care executive,
            I had given my sony laptop model vpceb13fg, sr no, 7000105 for checking / service cost estimation on 13/10/2017 thro' job no. J72810701 to mr. Mayur (Service engr.) today i got the call from service center for giving me the cost of repairs, it was exuberantly high. Hence i had visited the service center for collecting the laptop. I had paid the service estimation charges. But on detail checking, i found that the laptop was not opening easily due to improper assembling after checking and many screws were missing. Crack developed near hinges and it was hard to operate. Pl. See the attached photographs.
            You are requested to investigate the issue further. The complain was also registred in parshwa complain book.

              I subscribed sonyliv one month back and they renewed my subscription for next month without my consent even i have unsubscribed as mentioned in their t&c page, but no action.

              I am really frustrated.

I want full refund of my money and I also want to permanently unsubscribe for the premium membership immediately!!

                  I have purchased sony 32 ' tv on 30- june-2017 from bajaj electronics, medipally, hyderabad.

                  25-sep-2017 i have lodged a complaint[protected] on tv as it is not working. Technician confirmed that screen need to be replaced. Its 18 day, when ever we inquire for status, its standard answer from everyone (Sony customer care, bajaj electronics, service center, technician).

                  I just want to know the sla to resolve it, simply these guys are playing with me with standard 3 days answer.
                  Also, i am ok if it take long time, but atleast need to provide some basic standby tv instead.

                      Purchased the lcd tv cx52 40 inch size in the year 2012. After 3 years tv display was not there. Sony service person came and replaced the board and charged rs.6500/-. Again few days back the picture was running horizontally. And not clear. Complained in sony and service person came and without checking he asked to change the cable tv set of box. The same was changed and again the same problem. Without checking any component he asked to change the mother board. After few days service centre representative called and told that the board costs rs.16000/-.

                      this is not understood.

                      I brought Sony home theater N9200W. less than a year, my HDMI output is not working. Raised complaint and the service request is assigned to Vigneshwar Twice I raised the complaint and more than a month and nobody turned to address. Very Very poor service.

                        I made a mistake by buying a sony product. Don’t suggest to call the customer care or email to sony i am doing this since 1 year 2month. Please go through the below email will give the sony history.

                        This is madhu from bangalore, i purchased sony tv last year (Aug 14th 2016) after 15 days of the purchase i noticed a problem where some of the all app icons where getting diapered, i raised a complaint against to these service guys came and reset the software it started working again. After a couple of weeks, i started facing the same issue, service guys could not figure out the issue hence they had to replace the motherboard itself assuring this issue will not occur again.

                        But after 2 months the same issue occurred, service guys were totally speechless with this issue they accepted this is the first time they are facing this issue but they did not have any other solution than changing the motherboard which they had done 2 months back. From the bangalore office, they accepted this is a unique issue hence they are going to refund the amount it’s been more than 4 months now i have not got my refund amount or the issue rectified.

                        I have escalated to head office to delhi office 20 days back regards to refund, not even a single guy is responding to my email when i try to call customer care the only answer i get is it in ho they need to get back on this. I am sick of the way sony is treating the customer it’s been more than a year sill they are least bothered to address the issue or refund the amount.
                        I request you guys to look into this issues at the earliest.

                            Reason for our pen drive video is not supported this device then no demo for usb videos.
                            So i download mp4 videos in website but video not supported usb drive showing display words "video format not supported"
                            I called customer service but no responsibility answer

                              I subscribed to the premium account for one month and they renewed my subscription for next month without taking my consent. There is no way we can talk to customer service and when i sent them a mail to unsubscribe as mentioned in their terms and conditions page, they did not take it in to account and again they charged me for third month for the subscription.
                              I am really frustrated and do not know how to cancel my subscription from sonyliv.
                              Kindly look in to this matter.
                              Sir for the last three months I am sending mail to customer [protected]@setindia.com to stop auto renewal.but finding no action from their end and every month getting deducted.will u pls see this is stop.
                              I had subscribed for Sony liv premium membership on 12th October and paid for the same by paytm. Now money has been deducted from my paytm account without my permission for this month also. I want full refund of my money and I also want to permanently unsubscribe for the premium membership immediately!!

                                This was my first sony product purchased and as i had heard a lot about sony product quality i blindly bought the product. Now i am facing the vertical lines and distortion on the screen, when approached the customer care, i am so unsatisfied due the way he is servicing customer.
                                There was neither replacement done nor a call came even while the entire lead time for replacement was over. Finally, frustrated, i called up and was told that there was an additional week delaying
                                I hope, they start treating a customer as a customer, if not a king, and don't follow an approach of extortion just because a customer has already purchased their brand and it seems has very little bargaining power. Such approach will surely, today or tomorrow affect their business and credibility in the market. Given a choice, i would never buy their product and would strongly advise people to be careful before buying their product.

                                  I purchased a 42' colour sony led tv kdl-42w700b serial number 3313512 in september 2014. This was my first sony product purchased and as i had heard a lot about sony product quality i blindly bought the product. Now i am facing the vertical lines and distortion on the screen, when approached the customer care, they asked to do the factory settings which i did but the problem still exists. Then an engineer came to inspect the tv. He told me that it was the display panel problem and which needs to be changed and the cost would be around rs. 23000. I mean after paying so much price for a brand that claims to be of best quality i need to pay almost 40% of the tv cost within such short span o[censored]sage makes me think what do you define as quality. When i did some research on the internet on the product i found a lot of people facing this same problem and this to be a manufacturing defect (That explains why production of this model has stopped).
                                  I would request the concern authority to take immediate action on this and get my tv display panel replaced free of cost or replace the tv unit itself as 1. I don’t see any point in paying so much for repair purpose with such product, which already is having manufacturing defects. 2. What is the guarantee that after one year the panel does not fail or any other part does not work after the panel is changed, do you expect your customers to suffer and spend their hard earned money on your bad quality products. So please look into this matter as soon as possible, this is the least customers of such branded company which is so pricey (Because the products are of best quality) can expect from such a big reputed organization. I had even sent an email to sonyindia. [protected]@ap. Sony.com, but haven’t received any response as yet.

                                    The above tv purchased from vasanth & co chennai failed suddenly two weeks back and did not work. This was purchased on 15th nov 2013.
                                    Normally, the products of sony very reliable and would not give any trouble for seven to eight years. Understand from your authorized repairer that repair will cost about rs 6, 000.

                                    Since, the tv is required for time pass for my aged the retired brother in law and my sister, it will be repaired and would submit the bills for your enquiry on quality of the parts and reimbursement. (We know the warranty period has expired, but the quality of the product was not good)
                                    Request your consideration of this claim. Purchase bill is attached

                                      Sony india services in navi mumbai is worst & also the home theatre product. I purchased a home theatre sony bdv n9200w in 2015 nov., for that the netflix/youtube app is not working. I complained to sony call centre, they sent an engineer after 4 days, that too he has done nothing. He told that this is issue of internet connectivity. Same youtube site etc is working through home theatre browser, but not working with app. Also the same apps were working fine two months ago with same internet connectivity. Still i am facing the same issue & sony india is not bothered about its customer at all.

                                        - [ ] i had bought a sony led tv last year from reliance digital r city mall mumbai on 16.04.16 vide tnx#2 r#017 at time 14:07:54pm for rs 1.10lakhs.. The panel got damaged in august 2017 and we called the customer service centre metal tech (Link road andheri) and they gave a quote of 45k... We paid 50% of the cost to the service centre on 02.08.17 and against a commitment of 10 days the same was delivered nearly afte 3 weeks that also. After rigorous follow up on phone (Which mostly went unanswered) and also whatsapp and then finally i had to send a representative to their office on august 18th to speak to a person to check the status.. The staff/supervisor who was accessing the whatsapp no [protected] called abha (Worst professional i have ever come across in my life) refused to speak and though a junior informed that a technician would go across the same day to deliver the panel. We took the number of the technician and called him.. He lied blatantly on his current location and finally after frequent follow up he landed after 2hours with the panel but could not say netball the same as he was not technically equipped with the software. Finally on the 3rd day on 21st the panel was installed and the software loaded and the tv was functional and we made the remaining payment in cheque. Now the real story started the next day when a person from metal tech arrived and said that the clamp provided with the tv was not original and the adapter was faulty and quickly and conveniently replaced the same for 6500 in cash without providing any receipt whatsoever. I immediately put a stop payment on the chq issued earlier and intimated them in advance not to bank the chq till the time i get my receipt.. Then i questioned them on "who would replace the faulty clamp" and "why should i be paying for it" as the company/staff has done something unethical by giving me a clamp of a different brand/model... I told the supervisor abha who suddenly woke up from her deep slumber to sort out the 6.5k dispute.. Initially she was arrogant but later she provided me a receipt for the cost of clamp of a third party and not of metal tech... So i told her to take the remaining amount and provide a solution for 6.5k as they were representing sony but she was not qualified enough to discharge her duties and responsibilities and instead got engrossed in a conflict and later got on a threatening mode. Then the war of words continued on whatsapp. On 5th october my wife received a threatening call from midc police station from someone posing as psi mr patil (Phone #[protected] that there is a case which is being registered against her.. This call was followed a call by the metal tech technician yogesh patil (Mobile #[protected]) to pay up the remaining amount or face dire consequences. When i tried returning the call to yogesh he got aggressive and started using unparliamentary language and hence i had to disconnect the call. Later when we enquired directly with the ps they could not conform anyone by the name mr patil as psi/sub inspector... Nor were they willing to give the phone to their seniors. It was clear that this landline number was used to threaten my wife which is a clear case of impersonation, harassment and mental agony. My wife went into a complete depression post receiving these 2 calls as she was alone at home with kids and i had to rush back home in the middle of my hectic schedule to overmanage the situation and chaos created by the staff of metal tech..in view of the string of the above events i want immediate action to be taken.. I am willing to pay the amount but only after i have been provided a resolution and/or a satisfactory answer regarding my faulty clamp for which i have been taken for a ride for 6.5k without my knowledge and no fault of mine.
