Address: Durgapur

Bus that starts from Esplanade at 5:30 AM and goes to Asansol, can never reach Durgapur on time.The normal time of reaching Muchipara(Durgapur) is at 8:45 AM. But it reaches at 9:00-9:15 AM. There is not much traffic or fog in the road. The reason for late, I think is that the driver never starts the bus on time from Esplanade and delays about 10mins. there. Another reason is that the conductor & driver takes very much time in picking passengers. We see same driver and conductor everytime we come on Monday by 5:30 bus. Previously the driver was different, and we used to reach Durgapur around 8:30-8:40 AM. We think that there is a problem lies between the driver and the conductor. For that reason we are late at office or colleges. Please look forward into the matter and appoint active drivers for morning trip on Mondays.

    With due respect, the undersignedis requesting you to take necessary actions against the Contructor who misbehaved with me regarding stop down over Konsaboti bridge near Amtola, Midmapur. His behaviour was not normal. He denied to provide his identity. He is about 25-26 years old.

      I booked 2 seats of bus from esplanade to haldia. I booked seat number 1 and 2. Money was deducted but seat booking was confirmed. Neither the refund was done. Please return my money. The complaint tag under sbstc app is out of order for a long time. Sbstc never addresses grievance of customers. Nor does they care to do so

        I am travelling from Digha to Durgapur bus number WB 49B 4813.the conductor has taken passengers double in number then we have seats..people are not come out even at there drop point. Its really frustrating..plz check this and take a action..

          Sir, on[protected], I was moving from contai to chandipur at about 15:00 Hrs by bus no WB 39B 1949.of SBSTC from DIGHA, Upto bajkul the conductor did not ask for tkt. While moving out of bajkul I ask for tkt and gave him Rs.30/-. Immediately he returned me Rs 10/- and moving away from me taking RS20/-.. The bus was not very much crowded. I ask for tkt. Then he asked me my destination. I asked without asking my destination and boarding point and without giving tkt why you are moving away. He started abusing me and after a lot of arguments he took Rs 34/- and gave me valid tkt. On quarries I came to know that this a common habit of this conductor of cheating SBSTC. If this is the situation then a how SBSTC is running is clear.
          I was very much offended at the behavior of that conductor and request for enquiry and check and solution.
          My suggession is to post a inspector between contai and Nandakumar.
          I am at the age group of 70 years.

            Very pathetic condition of buses with broken windshield glass, therefore the visibility very poor.the State transport buses carrying many lives.if some misshapen will occur.then who will be the responsible.Need immediate action and attention in this regard.

              Sir,
              On 13th Dec 2020, I've tried to book a ticket from Karunamoyee to Durgapur on 2:30 PM Karunamoyee-Bankura Bus from SBSTC Mobile App. My Money got deducted (Amount=155) but I've not received any confirmation mail or SMS from SBSTC. I've tried to lodge a complaint via telephone but none responded to my call.

                I am passenger of Haldia to Kolkata nonstop 7:15 am bus dated 15.12.2020. The conductor of the bus is taking extra passengers in the midway. Stoping several times for taking passengers and helping them to get down at their respective stops against bribe. The conductor is not issuing any ticket for this act. We are paying premium for a nonstop bus and getting deprived for such unlawful act. Please take necessary action against this. West Bengal State transport is also loosing revenue . Thank you

                  Near bhiring there is a sbstc bus stop sign board but bus did not stop on the bus stop where the sign board is. He dragged me to the other end of the flyover which causes me a late approach at my destination.

                    I have booked a ticket in SBSTC online from Karunamoyee to burdwan. Bus no-WB39B1050 and seat was allocated to 34 but at the time of journey conductor changed the seat accordingly to him and abuses me. He even gave slang to my father and family. I prefer to take window seat because bus journey feels uncomfortable sometimes. So I requested to the respected authority please look over this matter.

                        Subject - Complain against Bus Conductor for humiliation and derogatory behavior towards me

                        Dear Sir/Madam

                        I, Debasish Ganguly aged 60 years, resident of Jhargram often travel to Kolkata by SBSTC Bus from Jhargram. On 30th November 2020, I could not board SBSTC Bus from Jhargram, instead, I happened to board SBSTC Bus from Midnapore to Kolkata at 1:30 PM ( Bus No - WB-39A-1660) with ticket number[protected].
                        Abiding by the hygiene rules of protection against Coronavirus, I happened to take a seat on the first seat of the bus and kept my belongings in the bunker over-head. The bus left Midnapore and in the midway on route to Kolkata, the bus conductor tried to rudely and forcibly evict me from my seat saying that the seat is meant only for conductors. I gently objected citing my inability to stand for a long duration due to my bad health and age.

                        He refused to listen to me and made fun of my request to allow me to sit there. He even threatened me to stop the bus and throw me out in midway. Finally, I had to stand for the rest of the journey with disgrace. To my utter surprise, after a while, he onboarded another person took money from him and allowed him to sit on the same seat which he claimed to be meant for conductors!

                        Such derogatory and insulting behavior of the bus conductor and his mal-practices has deeply humiliated me and I
                        feel very low. I traveled on SBSTC Bus paying full fare. Hence the bus conductor has no right to hurt my dignity.
                        Nor does he have any right to insult me in front of fellow passengers because he wanted to make some money for himself out of his seat. We the passengers of SBSTC expect decent and respectful behavior of drivers and conductors.
                        I could not note the name of the conductor as he wasn't even wearing his uniform.

                        I am deeply moved and shocked by this humiliating incident. As a result, I request you to kindly initiate a proper
                        investigation about this incident and I would strongly demand a written apology from the bus conductor and
                        and assurance that such incident will not repeat in future, otherwise I will be compelled to take this incident
                        to higher authorities including the court of law.

                          In this critical situation of COVID-19, still the SBTSC buses are taking extra passengers from here and there, inspite of all seats are occupied. People are travelling by standing and making the place conjuncted. Many people are feeling unsafe due to this. Its my humble request to the authorities or concerned team to look into this and stop this ASAP.

                              I would like to draw your attention to the inconvenience fellow passengers are facing while travelling in sbstc bus. I boarded a bus at 12:45 from esplanade sbstc depot to contai but to my disappointment inspite of being completely filled with passengers they are stopping on way to pick up passengers from stoppages that are not even included in their travel chart. During this crisis of covid 19 I don't know how you can tolerate this kind of inconvenience even the conductor is not wearing mask and taking passengers without mask. The bus is overloaded with passengers even without seats. Is this the way covid crisis is being handled. We booked tickets for traveling by this bus due to very crucial needs but this is insane. This is very disappointing to see that state bus service is letting to happen such inconvenience to their passengers. And I would like to let you know I am not lodging a general complaint, I would take it to higher authorities if necessary. So you better look after the matter.

                                  In durgapur city center there some black on ticket for durgapur Kolkata esplanade route. Tickets are available in online but they didn't issue any tickets. They closed the ticket counter.

                                    At SBSTC ticket counter at Haldia for boarding haldia-esplanade bus of 10:25 am towards Esplanade they charged a luggage ticket of Rs.100/- just for an empty computer cabinet. What's more surprising is that they even didn't show a rate chart and at first they were rushing me to board the bus and give the luggage charge to conductor. Considering the succession of events at the booking counter it seems to me that they wanted me to pay the luggage charge to the conductor and didn't wish to issue a receipt. Finally when I pushed for a system generated ticket for the luggage charge they issued me one for Rs. 100/- . This kind of service is highly unfortunate. Hope to see better service next time and please make them a luggage chart ready at hand.

                                      Its State bus but not following the Covid-19 guidelines and goes from another route (waited too long for local passengers and collecting money for personal profit) and picking up passenger from anywhere where it's have not been stoppage.
                                      While discussing the Bus conductor and driver they are saying either you travel or you want to stay in the middle of the road.

                                        I'm travelling kolkata to burdwan by sbstc bus no. Wb 39b 2940 at 9.30 am on 05/11/2020. Two transgender also board in bus and harassing passenger for money but conductor didn't say a word and he also stop the bus ay there stop by bell.
