The electricity bills for the month jan 2020 there is an abnormally high tariff for ₹2143. We have paid each and every bill till date. Now the problem is can you please check why these arrears charged. Please check the meter for service no sz086854. Can we get the arrears cancelled and get the amount refunded or at least the amount to be used to pay upcoming bills once the issue is resolved.

Instead of waiting until due date i have paid this 2143/- today 10 - jan-20.

My service no is sz086854. I have attached the copy of bill. Please do look through the issue

    Currently electricity meter display not working, so we have not received our december 2019 bill.

    Request you to rectify (Or) replace the electricity meter and provide us the latest bill.

      My electricity bill usc no :[protected] i have received the bill of 534/- in dec month and i have made electricity payment of 534 /- + 534/- total : 1068/-
      Twice the amount in month of december from yes bank & amex credit card.

      When i asked the one of the bank to cancel the transaction and refund me, they informed me the amount will be adjusted by electricity dept in next month (Jan)
      But i did not notice the adjustment in jan month bill.

      Attached the current month electricity bill & bank payment details screenshot for reference.

        The trees near our house/colony have out grown n are now dangerously touching the electricity lines.
        Address, 2nd Cross lane, Sai Krupa colony, Yapral, secunderabad-500087.
        Request please issue instructions to the concerned to cut the branches touching the electricity lines, to avoid any dangerous accident taking place.

        We paid Electricity bill before due date but Late fee charges included in my November month bill.

          Usually every month we are consuming 90-110 units but this month meter showing 220 units which cost the bill is 1261 but every month we are getting 180-420 range. We are highly disappointing with the high electricity bill. We don't have ac even whereas in my apartment some flats are having ac and surprising their bill is less than thousand. We are pretty much sure that we didn't consume the 200 units

            I have been billed inconsistently for the last 1 year with 0, 2, 1, 40, 50 units more than 6 -7 times and the actual consumed units were added in subsequent month about 6-5 times, i have raised more than 5-6 complaints in tsspdcl app and every time it was closed as resolved without generating the correct bill. I have already paid 1.5k to 3k extra so far and no corrective action yet.

              I have a single bedroom with a very little appliance at my home like only refrigerator, tv and washing machine, i stay out of the room everyday from 9am to 7pm still i am receiving rs.800/- electric bill in this winter season. Even if i have switched off my mcb, i found that meter light is still blinking and meter is running. Requesting you to please do a check up for this faulty meter and rectify the problem at the earliest.

                  I observed that my electricity bill that the energy charges calculated is wrong as per my calculations. I'm attaching my latest bill copy here. Can you please check and update if my below calculations are wrong.

                  Consumed units: 114
                  Days: 19

                  As per the latest unit charges 2018-19 for below 200 units category:
                  3.30 for 1st 100 units i. E. 100*3.30 = 330
                  4.30 for the rest 100 units i. E. 14*4.30 = 60.20

                  So, the total energy charges should be 330+60.20 = 390.20 for which you charged me 570. Can I know the reason for it?

                      Tsspdcl has given electric line connection above from our neighbour house which is very dangerous. I have complaint for this several time but no responce from there side. The are asking rs.15000/- for bribe in the name of service but not ready to give any bill. There is so many houses in my colony but till now tsspdcl not taken any initiative to install the electric pole.

                            The wrong bill is generated for the month of oct-nov. The reading for current and previous is printed same (5099) on the bill and units wrongly shown as 101 units. I am surprised to see the reading and units. Tspcdl is trying to cheat the customers. Actual reading is 5196 and previous reading is 5099 and it should be 97 units but to cheat the customers they have printed as 101 units.

                              It's observed few times in my electricity bill that the energy charges calculated are wrong as per my calculations. I'm attaching my latest bill copy here. Can you please check and update if my below calculations are wrong.

                              As per the latest unit charges 2018-19 for below 200 units category:
                              3.30 for 1st 100 units i. E. 100*3.30 = 330
                              4.30 for the rest 100 units i. E. 89*4.30 = 382.7

                              So, the total energy charges should be 330+382.7 = 712.7 for which you charged me 949.40. Can i know the reason for it?

                              I received a response from TSSPDCL on my other e-mail which i sent it to their help desk. Below is the way they are doing the calculations.

                              ******************************************************************************************************************
                              Consumed Units: 189 for 29 days only
                              Total units for 31 days will be: 202 (189/29 *31 = 202 units) >200 units

                              As per latest unit charges 2018-19 for above 200 units category:
                              The tariff above 200 units is Rs. 5 till 200 units and 201 to 300 is Rs.7.2
                              for 29 days the bill
                              EC: 200 units/ 31 days * 29 days = 187 units * 5 = 935.00
                              189-187=2 units * 7.2 = 14.40
                              TOTAL : 949.40

                              I'm wondering how in this universe TSSPDCL can charge the customers for something which they didn't consumed in the name of Imagination.

                              They assumed my consumption for the next 2 days based upon the bill generated for 29 days and rounded it to 31 days which made my bill crossed 200 units, so that I becomes eligible for higher charges.

                              So technically, on the bill it is showing 29 days only, but they made me to pay for 31 days? And again, they will add these additional 2 days in my next month bill by making customer a buffoon here?

                              -> If you are following monthly bill cycle based upon dates and the consumed units, why are you rounding it for 31 days?
                              -> Why should I pay for the extra units which I didn't consumed and you imagined? What if for those 2 days, I'm out of city and didn't consumed any units?
                              -> If you are rounding it for 31 days, why the next month bill is generating from the 29th date again (same old date)? With this approach, you are making the consumer paying 2 times for those imagined days.
                              -> My bill in this month generated till 09-Nov-2019, you imagined for 2 days additional and demanded me to pay for it. So, my next month bill cycle should start from 12-Nov-2019 instead of 09-Nov-2019.

                              I'm not very sure did TSSPDCL made any public statement (or) press release about these new Mind Blowing calculations method? I requested them to share a copy of the same.

                                As you meter is struck up in October so the bill was generated based on average consumed units in last three consecutive months whose bills were generated under live status (01) leaving preceding month, the new meter has not recorded exact months consumption . so this month's bill was also been issued for same average units, for more queries your are requested to contact
                                AE/Op/Filmnagar [protected].

                                Sir I agree with your answer but the bill of oct month should also generated on same average unit i.e. 3 but not generated average unit. It was generated on 5 unit. And when I contact AE/op they not supporting me

                                  Dear sir, we are staying in house which is having only two rooms which are having two fans, one fridge and a tv for last 4 years at dwarakapuram, dilsukhnagar.in every month electricity bill we used to get electricity bill ranging between rs. 400 to rs. 700. Now in this month surprisingly we received a bill amount of rs. 3194/- which uncomparable.

                                  So we request you to enquire working condition of the meter and rectify the bill amount.

                                    We are experiencing low voltage and flacutuating voltage issue since 10 days which resulted in loss of 2 leds, 1 motor, and unable to use washing machine and air cooler. This issue can be noted in c3-248, huda colony, chanda nagar

                                    The issue was addressed to area electric staff. Sadly the executives are not responsive and are just delaying to address the issue.

                                      Hi,

                                      I have paid my electricity bill twice for the month of july 2019. Please find the payment details from the attached screenshot. I have got electricity bill for august 2019 and observed that excess amount is not adjusted.

                                      Total bill paid 1019 + 1019 = 2038

                                      And i got reply saying that "your excess amount is adjusted, need not pay this month bill.". But due to issue with my sbi credit card auto bill payment
                                      Feature, the bill has been paid without my knowledge. Which means i have paid rs. 803 for month of august 2019 which you recommended not to pay.

                                      And i have paid my electricity bill rs. 645 twice for month of sept 2019 due to the sbi card issue. Please find the payment details from the attached screenshot.

                                      Can you please adjust the bill so that i can skip next months payment.

                                        bill paid twice - please advise

                                        I have paid my bill twice in the month of june 2019, amount rs. 10, 237. Once i paid on 21st june, but the electricity board came to my house and said they have not received payment. At that time i was not at home and also my payment statement did not reflect the 10, 000 deduction, so again i paid the full amount on 26th june 2019, thinking the previous payment was not successful. But on month end when i got my bank statement, it shows twice...
