We are first class compartment people day to day increasing face's used in second class compartment people use with first class chennai beach to chengalpattu between 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm fully rush and not seat available always more of people stay and stand with entrance and for board. Please make necessary action in this case. We are bare with more of expenses in buying first class ticket, but these are people easily to travel and not dearness.

    I travelled from thiruananthapuram to egmore, chennai on 30th july. My pnr no. Was [protected] and my train was : 16724. I was traveling in b2 compartment of 3rd ac and my berth number was 44.

    Before night, i saw a small rat come out from beneath my berth and try to attacking a food packet. I chased it off and told a cleaner who came later to mop the compartment about it. He did nothing.in the night, as i lay on my berth, i felt the rat try to bite me on my elbow. I made a noise and frightened it off.

    Please take immediate action and prevent recurrence of the above. I am in fear of my health and wonder at the standard of cleanliness in the railways.

      Sir,
      Sub : urappakkam to guduvanchery 3rd railway line work-reg damaged the sewage drainage line and divertion
      As above the 3rd rail line work in progress between urappakkam and guduvanchery. The contractor divert to the sewage drainage line to resident area. The sewage water spread the residential area. Here veryu dangerous situation in this area. Mosquitoes formed and spread the disease, the peoples (Ragavendra colony, lakshmi nagar, balaji nagar, arul nagar) are affected very dangerous situation. We request kindly take action and divert the sewage line to the old drainage.

        I, usually park my two wheelers in st. Thomas mount railway station’s government authorized parking. I am facing the periodic problem like head light, indicators, seat cover, rear mudguard, name board and petrol tank damages. Today early morning, i took my two wheeler which was completely wrecked; the head light, four indicators and petrol tank. The fuel tank was leaking and completely drained out. I enquired with the keeper who responded that other customers could have done it, but i took images which clearly show that it was done purposefully. The other keeper kept a mocking face all the while. Sir, here i attach photo of my two wheelers and definitely you could recognize it was not done accidently rather intentionally.

        School students and college students in large number travel in footboards and they get in and out during train running.. they are in large numbers and when other passengers try to stop them.. they are threatening the passengers.. even the RPF in duty on stations are not taking care of it.. so please try to take some action and save lives...

          Train no 22640 - GURUVAYOOR TO CHENNAI - 3 july - AC compartment- 2 TIER - very poorly maintained- lots of mold in passenger area on ceiling from possible water damage - very unhealthy place to be spending a night.

          please attend to this and make necessary maintenance.

          i don't see why i have to write along story to report my problem - the above has all the information, hopefully future passengers on this train don't face this problem from very poor surrounding during travel.

            I have booked the tatkal ticket with pnr no.[protected] for my daughter and her friend. Unfortunately she could not make the journey. So i have cancelled the ticket. Ther railway is denying me refund stating refund is not allowed for cancellation of tatka ticket. How can the railway deny my refund. There is rac and waiting list in tatkal also. If i cancel ticket one rac will get confermed, and waiting list will become rac just like general reservation. It means railway is getting double income. The amount from me and rac or waiting list passenger. So you are liable to give refund just like general ticket cancellation. No refund means a fine on us imposed by railway. It is injustice. Any thing can happen within 24 hours after booking. Flood, desease or some other problems may occur which force us to cancel ticket. Don't punish us. Kindle consider my request and give direction to railway to refund the amount.

            Last week I travelled in Udhayan express in AC Tier.The restrooms provided in my compartment is totally unhygienic and stinky.It will leads to various infections.The southern railway department should take necessary actions against this issue.

              Sir, the newly introduced emu units in the chengalpattu-tambaram-chennai beach section, has a seating capacity of 25 persons in the first class compartment. The older emu units have a seating capacity of 37. The seating capacity of second class ladies compartment has been increased at the expense of space and seats in the first class. Does the railway want the first class passengers to travel in the cramped space available standing throughout the journey in spite of paying 4 times the charge?. Normally itself the first class compartment seats are occupied by eligible or ineligible railway staffs, tamil nadu state/chennai police constables, causing people who have bought tickets/season tickets to stand and travel. No ticket examiner questions ineligible railway staff or police travelling in first class, inspite of newspaper interviews given by railway officials that stern action will be taken against these people. On behalf of all passengers travelling in first class, i urge the southern railway officials to restore 37 seats in the first class compartments so as to enable the first class passengers to travel at least with minimum comfort daily. Let this be treated more urgent. If the s. Railway wants to increase space for ladies, let it be without the expense of first class passengers' comfort. I also urge the s. Railway to provide a separate first class compartment for ladies.

              Sir, The frequency of trains running from Chengalpattu and Tambaram towards Chennai Beach especially in the morning (Office going hours) is very less. Moreover the trains arriving from Chengalpattu is always late and heavily crowded. The trains also move at objectionably low speed. Due to all these people going to offices face difficulty everyday and have to reach their offices very late. If three trains go from Chennai Beach towards Tambaram, only one train runs from Chengalpattu/Tambaram toward Chennai Beach. Many of the passengers including ladies have to travel in footboard risking their lives. Southern Railway seems to be not bothered about passengers and their safety. I urge the Southern Railway authorities to increase the frequency of EMUs running from Chengalpattu/Tambaram towards Chennai Beach especially in the morning between 7.00 am to 10 am.

              Sir, It is observed daily while commuting in the suburban EMU trains that many passengers especially Railway staffs sit near the door causing inconvenience to passengers boarding and alighting the train. Moreover this creates inadequate space for standing passengers also. Secondly, many passengers keep their luggage on the empty seats beside them or near the door. This causes inconvenience to other passengers. If the passengers are asked to remove their baggage from the empty seat so that we can sit, they become furious as if they have bought ticket for the bag also or it is their right to keep their bag on the empty seats preventing other people from sitting there. This causes unnecessarily mental agony to other passengers. Thirdly, many passengers stretch their legs and keep their legs on the empty seat opposite to them even if somebody is sitting on the opposite seats. If asked they pickup quarrel. Fourthly, invariably many people wearing backpacks do not remove their backpacks after entering the train and cause much inconvenience and discomfort to other passengers standing behind them, because not one but many are wearing backpacks without removing, they hit the persons behind them from every direction. This is condemnabe.
              The Railway should paste stickers urging the passengers not to keep luggage on the seats or near the door, not to keep their legs on opposite seats and remove their backpacks while standing or sitting. Railway Police should also monitor these things.

                While the tamabram to beach trains function properly I don't know y the [censored] did beach to tambaram trains come on proper regular intervals
                I was waiting for a tambaram train and while waiting 4 beach trains crossed yet not even a single tambaram train came y do this happenen?
                Just because u guys were put in a govt job doesn't mean that u can get salary without doing job perfectly I have faced this issue mANY TIMEs over years
                Kick all the workers from beach station, the beach to tambaram trains are always slow in timings

                  Bikes are not safe in the parking, if bikes are damaged and complained to the keeper offended me saying, why the photo was taken and asking not to use his bike parking, the way he responded was very bad, old man was drunken.
                  that old lady was using abusive words and cursing me.

                  that old lady is totally unfit to work, she lift the bike and make it fall on other bikes.

                    The scheduled arrival of Kanyakumari express is 5. 30. AM. But, today 17-7-18, it reaches tambaram, Chennai around 10 O’clock. This 4.30 hours delay is completely unacceptable and we have students to write exams, mothers to attend babies, elders to catch hospital appointments, youngsters to attend interviews and employees to report to work. Unless the delay is corrected from the next trip I will file a public welfare case against southern railway.

                    Chennai Elmore location train entrance not clean and safety. The Elmore Station local train entrance (via thina thanthi entrance) steel and rod put in the access of escalator location, it will be make more troble in puplic movement. Please remove as well as. There mostly the environment collapsed in railway and other governments sector.

                      I have booked railway ticket to tpj jn, amount debited for Rs.660/- in my sb a/c b of SBI under irctc txn no.[protected] on 3.7.18 and the ticket bookings failed. kindly retransmit the amount and oblige.
                      I have booked 3 tickets to tpj jn from chennai egmore through online under irctc menu. the transaction at thes end showed the transaction failed whereas the amount was debited to the tune of Rs.660/-. kindly arrange to credit the amount as one weeks had lapsed.

                      I am college student I want to get a student monthly pass so I got a railway form from my college so I went to Kanchipuram(CJ) railway station then I keep waiting more than one hour but that counter officer still ignoring to get the pass so they told to come tommorrow pls correct this issue as soon as possible
                      Under circumstantial delay of trains even the railway should be able to compensate the time loss and inconvenience caused to the passengers.
                      The passengers must be refunded the ticket amount if the train is delayed by more than 3 hours.

                            My journey date: 27-6-18, pnr:[protected], coach d1-32, (2s). The opposite seat number 31 person claimed to sleep side upper, i denied because this coach is purely sitting i talk with him but he is not obey with my words and he has been taken my luggage without my permission and put it into down, occupied the side upper berth. This has been frequently complaint it in helpline but all my efforts are totally wasted because they are not responded to me, and ttr i cannot find in the train...

                              இன்று காலை (25.06.2018) சென்னை செல்ல 12.30 சோழன் எக்ஸ்பிரஷ்க்கு டிக்கட் எடுக்க சீர்காழி ரயில்வே ஸ்டேசனிலிருந்து நீண்ட கியூ, ஆனால் பிரிண்டர் ரிப்பேர் என்று டிக்கட் கொடுக்கவில்லை. மணி 12.30 ஆகிவிட்டது, பிரிண்டர் ரிப்பேர் பரவாயில்லை ஆனால் டிக்கட் இயந்திரம் எனன்வாயிற்று என்றால் இயக்குபவர் அங்கில்லை. அவருக்கு போன் செய்தும் வண்டி கிளம்பும் வரை அவர் வரவில்லை. எல்லோரும் சத்தம் போட ஆரம்பித்துவிட்டனர். நான் உடனே அங்கிருந்த போர்டை பார்த்து[protected] என்ற நம்பருக்கு கால் செய்தேன். போன் எடுக்கவில்லை.பிறகு 77002 என்ற நம்பருக்கு போன் செய்தேன் அதுவும் எடுக்கவில்லை. அப்போது அங்கிருந்தவர் என்னை பார்த்து நீங்கள் பீ.ஜே.பியில் இருக்கிறீர்கள். எப்போதும் 270131, 22107, 242411, 222131 சீர்காழி மற்றும் மயிலாடுதுறை ரயில்வே ஸ்டேசனுக்கு போன் செய்தால் போன் ரிங்ஆகும் ஆனால் யாரும் எடுப்பதில்லை என்று கூறினார். மற்றவர்கள் மோடி ஆட்சியை பற்றி தவறாக பேசினர். எனக்கு மிகுந்த வருத்தமாகிவிட்டது. யாரே ஒருசிலர் தவறுக்கு பாரதபிரதமர் என்ன செய்வார். ஆனாலும் நான் அங்கிருந்த வரை எந்தபிரட்சனையும் வராதவாறு, உடனே சீட்டில் கையால் எழுதி சீல் வைத்து டிக்கட் கொடுக்க சொன்னேன். ரயில் 30 நிமிடம் தாமதம் என்பதால் நிலைமையை சமாளித்தேன்.ஆனாலும் அங்கு ஊழியரின் அலட்சிய போக்கே இவ்வளவு பிரட்சனைக்கும் காரணம். சம்பந்தப்பட்ட மேலதிகாரிகள் உடனே இதற்க்கு தகுந்த நடவடிக்கை எடுத்து மாண்புமிகு பாரதபிரதமர் மோடி ஆட்சிக்கு நல்லபெயரை வாங்கிதாருங்கள் எனறு உங்களை வேண்டி கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன்.எனது போன் நம்பர் [protected]

                                We are a group of 50 people travelling daily from whitefield station to baiyappanahalli,
                                The foot over bridge for passengers in whitefield railway station is designed unscientifically it will not connect to any of the railway station platforms, it seems its made to connect the kadugodi bus stand and kadugodi road, whereas the distance from the foot over ridge exit to the main entrance of railway station is around 1 km, its not serving the purpose to help the passengers to reach to the railway station entrance or concern platforms, we see every day people jumping the railway compound and passing under the rails to reach the concerned platforms, also we observed few accidents where people died because the trains started moving while the passengers were trying go to platforms underneath the trains,
                                We kindly request the concern authorities to look into this and save the life of people by providing the foot over bridge exit points to the concern platforms

                                  Sir i booked tatkal waiting list railway counter at triupadripuliyur railway station vide pnr no - [protected], train no - 12515 for journey from premubur to guwahati... Which was not done due to tlwl.. Now i went to counter for submitting the ticket and for refund... Which was refused by booking clk and abusing me with bad languages... Requesting you sir to look into the matter and do the needful as early as possible

                                    I have visited central railway station chennai on 16/06/2018 saturday around 3 p. M.

                                    Toilet location: central railway station (Near by thiruvalluvar boarding junction area)

                                    In-charge lady didn't allow my wife for toilet urinating with two rupees, in-charge lady asked 5 rupees for urinating, but 2 rs only mentioned in the front name board. Finally she was allowed my wife after fought with them.

                                    This is very unfair and this happened multiple times for me in the same place.

                                    Please respond promptly and take the necessary action.

                                      Reservation in train no.16724 for travel by two persons ex tirunelveli to chennai egmore on 12.7.2018 in sleeper berth, vide pnr no.[protected],
                                      Was made on 11.6.2018 by transferring a sum of rs.710/- from my sbi account. But subsequently it was partially cancelled on behalf of one person (Age 29 - cnf/s8/46/lb) on the same day but refund of rs.120/- has not yet been made. Kindly help me to get the refund duly credited to my account.
                                      Southern Railway customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                      On 18june 2018 I was traveling from chengannur to Kozhikode in parashuram Express 16650..the train was 2:15 hrs late running..to much difficulties..please fix the timing schedule..and not give passengers to much troubles.

                                        Govt. Of india announced holiday on saturday due to ramzan festival. But the train no. 40801, has not came on friday.
                                        Lot of peoples going to kancheepuram in that train only on working days. Due to cancellation, we are facing much difficulties to reach our office in time.
                                        Further the govt. Changed the holiday on 16.06.2018, the why the southern railway has not functioned tat 40801 kanchipuram fast train on 15.06.2018
