Iam prabhakaran i came from hyderabad to chennai in chennai express 4 march 2018 with my luggage in s13 coches. When i get out form train three poters having bad argument with me. They charge me 300 rupees to take my luggage. They form the gang and threatend me. This issues is for all passangers. I[censored] call me i can show there face. I need my money. Please help me.[protected]

    The ticket booked for travel from karaikudi junction to chennai on 02/0ct0ber/2017 which was a cnf ticket was put as wl on date of journey.
    As we could not travel with our family and kids we got down and took a private cab and reached chennai.
    Looking for reimbursement of cab charges.
    Instead irctc says regret for inconvenience and so far refunded only rs.420 against rs.665. The balance amt is pending for refund.
    I want to escalate this matter and seek for compensation.
    I suffered a lot and missed one of my baggage

      This is a request to the railway concerned authorities.. I am complaining about railway gate here in annanur. We wait for hours and hours for the railway gate to open.. Pls take action on either building an overbridge or subway. This helps the commuters to get their convenience, esp for the people who go in 4 wheeler.. Just imagine people who have an emergency to go on the other side of the gate. Most taxi drivers come by this route since its a short route from ayapakkam than going via poonamalee high road to annanur.

        Dear admin,

        I, along with 2 of my family members boarderd into the tatanagar-alappey dhanbad express in palakkad junction at 10.35am on 01.03.2018.

        We all reserved our tickets for the journey.

        I am a tax paying proud citizen of india hailing from chennai, tamil nadu.

        At once we boarded on the train, the tte in the st5 coach mistreated us, called me in singular word without having a thought for asking politely whether we have reserved our tickets or not.

        When i asked what's wrong, and showed him that i have my valid reserved tickets and showed him my id proof, he said exactly as below: "the people who are looking like you (Note: i was wearing traditional dhoti and shirt) will always board the train without tickets. Hence i thought you also would be one of them"

        He never had a courtesy to feel sorry for his racist behavior against me and my family.

        Request you to take my above statement as an official complaint against the tte for expressing hatred and racist behavior against us and mistreating the tax paying citizen of india.

        Hope you will take necessary action against the tte or please advise me what to do to take a legal action against him in the honourable high court, chennai.

          I am DINU.V.P today[protected] I am traveling In Trivandrum Guruvayoor Intercity Express 16342. With reserved ticket coach no.D3 Seat No 108 ... Complaint is that ... unreserved passengers (Season and General tickets) are fully occupied the reserved coaches D1, D2, D3. I have forced to occupy 4 members in reserved sets. Unauthorized persons are standing very tightly in reserved coaches we are not having sufficient breathing in the coaches. The reserved passengers will have to travel sleeplessly to ensure that their belongings are safe. I am asked to T.T.E but he told me i am helpless and not to solve the issue. This has been happening between Trivandrum and Kayamkulam daily. We are (reserved persons) facing daily the problem. It is really a nuisance to the reserved passengers travelling in trains. Kindly take necessary action on this to serve people who is really suffering. Please take action if you are live. For further details please contact me. [protected]

            The gm, s, rly, chennai
            I have parked my car tn10w2986 by 05.44 am on 23, 02, 2018 vide b. No.000469-op.10a - sno.4 (469). While taking my car by 00.34 hrs on 24.02.2018, i was asked to pay rs, 665/ vide b. No.018750- op.10a-s. No4. When i asked about the authority, they have informed that the rate was fixed by fast track. While checking in google the rates are very less, even in airport or in metro stations, rates are less than this exorbitant rate. Moreover the staff has paid only rs.235/- instead of rs.335/- and the behaviour also not soft.
            It is requested to arrange for the refund of excess charges and non return amount of rs.100/-

              I am janarthanan from kovilpatti. I travelled from salem to kovilpatti with my bag which contains my mobile phone and personal things. It was stolen while i m sleeping by a stranger.

                It has been noted that the pay and use toilet at changanassery station (Chy) seems to be closed frequently due to water supply failure.

                On enquiry this mornind, duty station master expressed his helplesness, saying the supply pipes get brocken frequently.

                Kindly look into the matter immediately as, otherwise neat railway station stinks now

                  Respected sir,
                  I am a regular traveler (From chennai, tamil nadu) using the mrts (Mass rapid transport services) from chintadripet (Station code: mcpt) to thiruvanmiyur (Station code: tymr) stations to commute to office daily. The escalators in almost all the stations barring a few does not work at all during the peak hours and due to this the elderly and physically challenged people are forced to use the staircases to catch the trains; in most of the cases, they miss the train services, forcing them to be late to their respective offices. Adding to this, the lift gets repaired most of the time. We thereby request your good self to make the southern railway officials to provide a better service to us who have given a massive verdict for you to rule us. I hope that the bjp, who is a people-friendly government, will once again, prove by their actions by taking a timely action.

                    The railway road is blocked from ponnurnni, vyttila by metro piling company and they are dumping waste and filling a pond, for dumping the piling waste they put fire to the railway ward and the railway staff are helping them by taking money there are rpf involved in this case i have no evidence but u will know when you see ideas they have taken to dump piling waste, daily about 15 lorrys are coming and dumping waste the rpf living in the quarters is helping them, early one guy who opposed them was illegally send to jail by making a duplicate case. You will get to know when you see this

                      Hi sir/madam,

                      I usually travel from tambaram to paranur in beach-cgl local train.
                      Train number - 40519.
                      It is supposed to start from tambaram at 8.33 am and reach paranur 9.15 am, but it is starting and running late daily.
                      Just because its running late, it leads to waiting due to express cross at guduvanchery and katakalathur. So it totally takes 1.5 hrs to reach the actual 40 mins distance.
                      Why cant this train be punctual.
                      Also the crowd in this train is really abnormal, what if some accidents happen.
                      Cant the southern railways plan a one more local train around some time?
                      Cant the southern railways assure the punctuality of local trains?

                          It’s surpsing that the quality of indian railways has come to such sub standards that the level crossing wall collapsed in not more than 2 months of its completion at sekkadu level crossing, avadi.

                          The debris is lying as an ongoing threat to passerby - especially 2 wheelers.

                          I’m just wondering if the contractor would allow his house to collapse in such manner due to sub standards.

                            Recently it w as announced that sengottai – punalur gauge conversion works has been completed and also necessary safety clearance obtained to commence regular train service,
                            In this regard, we request your goodselves to kindly consider commence passenger service between sengottai and punalur with at least four coaches as a pre setting of the way and initiating the passengers focus towards railways service availability. It also served to assess the track and take necessary remedial steps towards this track readiness for express train service.
                            We, hope our suggestions are viewed positively and expect immediate response as commencement of passenger service in this stretch.

                              I had booked a deluxe a/c double room at kumbakonam rly. Station from 26/01/2018 6 am to 28/01/2018 6 am through irctc website and paid a sum of rs.3638.20 towards the rent in advance for suite no.1.[ref.: pnr [protected]/kmurr 1001898] for myself and my wife both senior citizens. When we checked in at the office at the railway station, we were told that the toilet in the room was broken and that the room which we had booked could not be allotted to us and we were asked to occupy a non-a/c room in the 1st floor. As cancellation was not permitted, we were left with no alternative other than occupying the non-a/c room which was to say the least totally unsatisfactory. I had, on my return to chennai, asked the irctc and the railway administration through emails dated 29/01/2018, for refund of the difference in rent between a/c deluxe room and non-a/c room, but my request has not been complied with as of now. The service/facilities intended and paid for, were not provided and as such there was deficiency of service.

                                The staffs in old washermenpet station are not cooperating with passengers with polite. They not at all answering properly for any clarifications. Especially casher and station master. They not even open their mouth when asking more than 3 times, after we asking when are you not responding then they said "go and sit" or "we will announce" or "i dont know". We wait in staion for more than one hour without knowing when will train arrive. When we asked cashier for train timing he said "ask staion master" then we went to ask station master then he going away without answering. Sometimes they not even giving respect at any age. It will be good if they got transfer to any other station.

Very much disappointed. What kind of service at railways . I am unable to buy water bottle. I am a tax payer. Shame on railways that too tirunelveli jn. ...
                                It's been ten years I have been a traveller from PTMS to Central however it's the first time in ticket counter of PTMS the person issuing ticket a trainee or assigned in contract basis abuses passengers on giving ticket and asked for change

                                  It was noticed that wrong Rake status in www.indianrail.info for train 16203 Garudathri express. Website says D2 compartment was at front but D2 compartment was connected at last. There was no information about compartment status at Tiruvallur station even it has platform LED displays.
                                  PNR NO: [protected].
                                  Update correct rake or remove it from web.

                                    For transparency and convenience of the members on their accounts, why digitization not to be done for the accounting mechanism of sreccs/chennai & trichy till such time? Moreover, these societies till following the stone age system of keeping books & registers with manual entry by employing double the staff. It is suspicious that why these societies are not implementing digitization in accounting system so the members can view their accounts...

                                    I Ankit Shah PNR NO[protected] train no 11093 DOJ 07/01/2018 from Bhusaval to Burhanpur comes under Central Railway booking done through PRS Counter Burhanpur Station on 17/12/2017 by POS machine. I have cancelled the same ticket from Chennai Central Station on 06/01/2018 at 8:52Am for which refund of 635/- had initiated to credit back in my same account. But till now also no refund is credited back in account. When I enquired the same from Burhanpur PRS Counter they told that we don't know regarding refund issue, you should contact IRCTC customer for refund status and same I have enquired from Customer care he told that the details you will get from 139 and same thing I asked to 139 they told that you should inquire from PRS Counter Burhanpur.
                                    After this discussion again I have revisited the PRS Counter they told that as you cancelled the ticket from Chennai you should inquire there only.Now I want who will refund the money back.???
                                    Or should I inquire the same from Railway ministry or through Consumer forum.??

                                    Today on 03 feb 18 a lady announced wrong platform for wrong train. People are confused
                                    The matter was announcement of local train from MAA to PTMS at 0415.
                                    The lady announced wrong information we just want to do not repeat it again
                                    On 2nd February 2018 i was denied to get ticket from the ticket counter 3 at 4:00pm from coimbatore railway station as i was only having 200 rupee note for 30 rupee ticket.
                                    It is the duty of railway to provide change to the customer. After all as it is a public the people working in the ticket counters should learn to give respect to the public.
