I am a scientist working in isro sriharikota. I am daily travelling from ponneri to sullurpeta by emu. Last year november sr reschedule the train no 42416 which is starting from sullurpeta at 1810 hrs from 1815 hrs. This creates lot of inconvenience to commuters those who are travelling by this train as we can reach the station by 1815 hrs. The other train which is coming from nellore (66036) is always coming very late. You can check the data's available. Hence pl kindly change the starting time of the train to 1815 or even later. There are near about 50 commuters are working in isro are suffering due to this time change. Your urgent necessary action required in this matter

I am one of the commuters of memu local running between sullurpeta and ponneri. I used to travel by nellore-chennai central memu l (66036) which reaches sullurpeta by 1820 hrs. But nowadays this train is always coming too late (Many times it used to reach sullurpeta by 2000 hrs) it makes lot of difficulties to many commuters. Kindly make necessary arrangements to make this train running in time

    There is no direct train between chennai to tiruvanamalai, all passengers are travel through only bus. Bus ticket very costlier than train ticket. I requested southern railway to arrange special train between chennai central and tiruvanamalai atleast every pournami festival. Lak of perople travelld through bus only.
    Best train time is for thiruvanamalai is

    Chennai central 2.30 pm arrival 6. Pm at tiruvanamalai
    Chennai central 5.30pm arrival 9.30pm at tiruvanamamalai,

    Return direction

    Thiruvanamalai 9 pm chennai arrival at 12.30am
    Thirvavanamalai 12.15am chennai arrival 4.15am

    Dear sir,

    Duranto train running between chennai central and madurai for last 6 years, this is one of the loss making train in southern railway. Only 60 to 80 tickets booked in this train total berth is around 360. So i requested southern railway to run this as a special train between chennai tambaram to madurai. As ac express with stoppages for villupuram, trichy.

    From tambaram or egmore.

    Friday dep-11pm arrival madurai 7am next day.

    From madurai
    Dep-10.15pm arrival at tambaram 6am next day

    Or run these train from central from every thursday and return
    From madurai every saturday (As weekly express)

      I am a regular ist class season ticket holder travelling from st thomas mount to egmore. Of late i find lots of tn police constables & trainee constables in first class. They stand on the footboard with their backpack causing lot of problems those who board. Even if tc comes they never ask them tickets. Are these people eligible for free ride that too in first class..? If no will action be taken..??? We season ticket holders pay nearly thrice that of ordinary season ticket and this is the treatment...!!!

      Surprisingly NO action is taken..!!! Even now daily Tamil Nadu Police constables and trainees still travel FREE in FIRST CLASS...

        My mobile phone was stolen on 30.12.17 midnight during my travel from chennai to nagercoil. I was slept in b1 coach bearth no 39. My mobile was stolen from the charger pouch.
        Pnr number:[protected]. Mobile details: lenova k6 power. Imei1: [protected], imei2: [protected].
        I have informed the tte and the railway police immediately, also made a written complaint at nagercoil railway police. Please do the needful to get back my stolen mobile.

          Chennai alleppey second compartment seats were blocked by some local people and the passengers including me when refused to pay them for the seats already we took tickets for, they were using abusive language and even harmed some people here. They were also so drunk.
          Please take this as a serious problem because passengers with ladies also suffered from these drunk violent people.

            Travelled from ernakulam north to trivandrum by parasuram express on 20/01/2018.
            I am a senior citizen (66 year) i took a ticket (Ordinary sitting) of rs.50/- and entered the train. Then i enquired about a 3ac (Cc class ticket). With the permission of tte i travelled in cc class. I told him that i am a senior citizen, but he charged a total amount of rs.340/- (Rs.50 ticket plus rs.290/- (Paper ticket)
            I was denied the concession of senior citizen.
            (Ticket nos. 1. Uma 90200420 dated 20/01/2018)

            Kindly take necessary steps in the matter for refund

              Sir,
              I am arunachalam t, 64 years old retaired govt. Sertvant. I booked 3 tickets from pavurchathram to chennai on[protected]. Pnr no.[protected]. W/l no.393, 394, 395 journey date[protected] pothigai superfast express train no.12662. On[protected] i went to pavurchathram railway station for cancellation. The pavurchathram railway station master mr. Wilson told me today is sunday. I can't cancell, come tomorrow 8.00 am. Then i return back and went[protected].9.30 am he told that he had no money in the station. You come tomorrow. Again i went[protected].30 pm. New station master named mr. Arun told that he had no money in the station. My ticket status is w/l 31, 32, 33. I asked to the s. M. What can i do? If i cancel within 30 minutes of departure of the train i can't receive money. His reply is irresponsible.
              Now i loss my money. What can i do?
              Kindly refund my money
              And refund money for cancellation to the general public without fail in future.

                In east tambaram railway station two wheeler parking the vehicles are getting damaged frequently and they are collecting heavy parking charges as well without following proper timelines. They are also not giving proper response to customers for vehicle damage issue which was created by them only. They are just dragging and hitting the two wheeler with other two wheeler to get more space for other vehicles without considering the vehicle damage issue.

                      My account has been debited 2 times on 25.12.2017for rs.395/- towards ticket reserved for the train (Pearl city express) at 6.00pm. The booking clerk told me that he was wrongly mentioned the date of travelling and cancelled that ticket and booked another ticket i asked the debited amount to him but he told, 'the amount will be credited to my account automatically and don't worry'. But till date the amount is not credited to my account.
                      Please look into the matter and arrange to send the amount by cheque or credit the amount.

                        This complaint should be taken action immediately or else this is very shame of southern railway employees
                        No TTR in cholan express since 8.30AM to 11.00am. So all unreserved passengers are standing in reservation compartment even when TTR came and checked us reserved ticket but he is not taking any action against unreserved passengers who are standing in reservation compartment. This is very ridiculous. Action must taken immediately.
                        Why your running this train .?
                        Totally waste of time. It's normal time despatch from Calicut 12.30pm . But, its taking only 3pm due to working. After that also train will stop at every station between CLT and can . What is this. ???
                        Shame of your service.
                        If you can't able to manage it's time cancel this. Why your disturbing to the passenger.
                        I'm a ATVM card user. Unfortunately the card got expired. And i lost the balance amount. I rised complaint at ERS and AWY railway stations. I did't get a proper reply. So i requested for a new card. And im using the new one now. My expired card number is SR 0176830. Please do the needful.

                          I had rs.5 only in my while went to use public toilet taking my 6 years old daughter. Caretak did not allowed both o[censored]s to enter into the toilet. He told me to leave your daughter out side and u only can go inside, since you have only rs.5. This kind of treatment in railway station toilet is shameful. Necessary action may be taken on this matter. This incident happened today on 23.12.2017 at 20: 45 hours.

                            Sir iam balaji travelling in intercity exp (12679) from chennai to salem (Pnr no [protected]) d12 83 isy seat no on 21/12/2017, while i boarded the train there was a hole on train through which we can see the track, the hole was such a leg can pass, it was at s9 coach near seat no 1 toilets, this is horrible, kindly take necessary steps before any one is injuries

Plt.2 not available, end of plt between two tracks toilet is there in unusable condition. Wrong placement of toilet. Passengers force to cross track which Invite accident, both basic amenities should be provided in each platform.

                              I am dinu usually travel in trivandrum guruvayoor intercity express 16342. With reserved ticket... Complaint is that... Un reserved passengers (Season and general tickets) are fully occupied the reserved coaches d1, d2, d3. We have forced to occupy 4 members in reserved sets. Unauthorized persons are standing very tightly in reserved coaches we are not having sufficient breathing in the coaches. The reserved passengers will have to travel sleeplessly to ensure that their belongings are safe. T. T. E or other officials are not coming to solve the issue. This has been happening between trivandrum and kayamkulam daily. We are (Reserved persons) facing daily the problem. It is really a nuisance to the reserved passengers travelling in trains.                               We had tickets from Mambalam to Thiruvanmiyur, but because we took the wrong train so we planned to change the train on Guindy Station, There we were fined for not having tickets even after having it.

                                I v. K. Subramanian ex service men army on behalf public iam writing this. I complained to meenambakkam station master on friday stating the hazardous impact of live wire pertaining near stairs entry/exit. But still it has not been rectified. They may cause major disaster if not attended in time more water is logging in pathway of subway even it is not rainy season. Security lights are not glowing at the time inspection or vip visit it is glowing. So please look after this on priority basis. Even then if not attended i can't help public

                                  I have met north indian un authorized persons while traveling from chennai perambur to avadi fifteen person got down in pattaravakkam and i hold one person and submitted in ambattur station to the rpf. But the rpf don't know tamil. And english i could not explain the situation why you people intamil nadu recruiting the person who doesn't know tamil and english..

                                    I reserved two e-tickets in ananthapuram train from tirunelveli to chennai on 07.12.2017. But in nellai railway station the station master announced the ananthapuri train cancelled due to fishermen problem in kuzhithurai railway station. Hence, i asked the station master for refund. He said the 2 tickets are booked in on line. Hence payment will be credited to that account within 5 days. But till date no refund amount is credited. Therefore, i complained.

                                    Some of the culprit make it like that... People they going toilet in station itself... Past 6months peoples getting very trouble..

                                    Railway police also seen this problem on daily.. But till now No action..

                                      Hello sir today while i am travelling to delhi from chennai central railway. I saw the peope who had take the incharge of rest room in chennai central are over charging the price given by railways is 5 rupees bur they are charging 10 rupees which is double. There is ladies standing on table asking 10 rupees each to every people. Please check into the matter. I had forwaded this text to media and all railway officials.

                                        I booked a travel ticket with pnr no; [protected] for travelling from tirunelveli (Ten) to villupuram (Vm) in train no: 12641 and my date of journey is 08.12.2017. At 12.36 pm, i received a message stating that train no; 12641 has been cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances. Based on this message, i booked another ticket pnr no; [protected] in train number 16128 and the date of journey is 09.12.2017 under tatkal quota. After booking this ticket, i came to know another message sent by your dept stating that train no: 12641of 08/12, which was stated as cancelled is now running as per schedule. So, i travelled as per the original schedule. But my second ticket which was booked in tatkal based on the message given by the dept cannot be cancelled since it was booked in tatkal quota. I request you to kindly look into the matter and make arrangement to refund the amount to me for the second ticket booked.

                                        I have not received any response for my above complaint till date.
                                        its a serious issue, Railway should look into this as soon as poosible. Or else Sethuramalingam is eligible to file a case and get 10 times the amount of his ticket. So don't waste governments money because of railway staffs irresponsibility.
