Hello sir today while i am travelling to delhi from chennai central railway. I saw the peope who had take the incharge of rest room in chennai central are over charging the price given by railways is 5 rupees bur they are charging 10 rupees which is double. There is ladies standing on table asking 10 rupees each to every people. Please check into the matter. I had forwaded this text to media and all railway officials.

    I booked a travel ticket with pnr no; [protected] for travelling from tirunelveli (Ten) to villupuram (Vm) in train no: 12641 and my date of journey is 08.12.2017. At 12.36 pm, i received a message stating that train no; 12641 has been cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances. Based on this message, i booked another ticket pnr no; [protected] in train number 16128 and the date of journey is 09.12.2017 under tatkal quota. After booking this ticket, i came to know another message sent by your dept stating that train no: 12641of 08/12, which was stated as cancelled is now running as per schedule. So, i travelled as per the original schedule. But my second ticket which was booked in tatkal based on the message given by the dept cannot be cancelled since it was booked in tatkal quota. I request you to kindly look into the matter and make arrangement to refund the amount to me for the second ticket booked.

    I have not received any response for my above complaint till date.
    its a serious issue, Railway should look into this as soon as poosible. Or else Sethuramalingam is eligible to file a case and get 10 times the amount of his ticket. So don't waste governments money because of railway staffs irresponsibility.

      Unfortunately, my daughter's samsonite trolley bag costing approx. Rs.12, 000/ was destroyed by rat/mouse when it was kept under their seat on their journey to bangalore from ernakulam south station on 23.9.2017. The insurance details for the journey are given below :

        In arrakonam station ticket counter staff dont know how to behave with customers. They are thinking that they are doing the job for free. If change is not there then they must convey it in a proper manner but that # staff abused me and made fin of me.

        So as a often commuter i request you to take stringent action against the staff

          The most careless parcel office in madurai. They don't have a minimum concern. I have a bike parcelled on 25/11/17 from madurai to katpadi. I was informed that the bike would reach by 7 am on 26/11/17 to katpadi. I am from chittoor and came from there to katpadi at 10 am. And now there is no bike delivered at katpadi. I need to go back and come again now and then to enquire if my bike has come. What kind of careless people are the parcel office guys in madurai.. Earlier one of my bikes has come to madurai. I went priorly and informed them to intimate me when my vehicle arrives. They asked me money for that and i did. But... There was no intimation. I had to get my bike collected after paying for the extra time with them. Madurai parcel office is the worst one.

            Respected sir,

            I, r n paul (M-55) had reserved ticket in train no. 12658- chennai mail on 24/11/17 from ksr bengaluru to chennai central. But due rescheduling of departure time from 22:40 hrs to 05:00 hrs on 25/11/17, i could not avail the journey. Since i am residing far away from the rly stn. And could not cancel the ticket, at the originating station, i. E. Ksr bengaluru and also due to important commitments at chennai i had to take bus journey to reach chennai in time.

            I presented the same unused ticket at rly reservation counter, tambaram. The chief reservation supervisor, mr. Chiranjeevi rao, at 0800 hrs on 25/11/17, has expressed his inability to refund the ticket.

            Hence it is my kind request that my unused ticket amounting to rs. 260 be refunded either in cash or in credit in my sbi bank account no. [protected].

              I am doing up and down from dharmapuri to bangalore for working. I am traveling by passenger train to reach specific workplace. Like me lot of people traveling from dpi to blrr daily. While returning to home, our train (56242) has to wait for crossing at pnrt station for 12678 express. We were waiting more than half hour so many days. So we are reaching home so late. Kindly do the needful.

              Daily 56242 Crossing waiting time is more than Half hour for 12678. Why it so. Daily traveling passengers are wasting their time in this.why can't 56242 can go to next station. Kindly do the needful. I have given complaints so many times. Kindly check the attached photos for today reference.

                The platform for express trains in Lalgudi station is of the old metre guage type. I am a senior citizen and all senior citizens find it very difficult to detrain since the platform level is low. Kindly raise the level for at least one metre by concrete structure.

                I also see many other passengers who are more than 60 years old struggling to get on and get off from the train. It is difficult for them to hold on to the railings and climb the steps of the train doors. Kindly do the needful.

                  Respected sir,

                  Our rajapalayam railway station is among the list of "adarsh" stations in madurai division, but still it doesn't be provided with digital coach position display boards at the platform. It was leant that despite work orders issued for the work months ago, but the works are kept pending by the contract or, for unknown reasons. Kindly look into the matter, since this station earns revenue constantly more then 5 crores per year.
                  Further, the signboards displaying name of the station in trilingual also got damaged for a long while, reveals the pathetic mentality of the station personnel towards aesthetic day to day maintenance of this station. We request you to kindly replace the name boards flashing name of the station legibly.
                  Hope, our suggestions will be viewed positively and necessary remedial measures will be taken at earliest.

                      Reference to the latest time table, you are rescheduling train no: 16183
                      Uzhavan express as 22-30pm. Please note the above train is connecting
                      Most of pilgrims centre such as vaithesswaran koil, chidambaram, mayiladuthurai, kumbakonam, thanjavour etc. Earlier it is the last train
                      Which is start from egmore and reaches all the pilgrim centre at early morning.
                      Which is more convinient for hotel booking and early morning dharsan of daity
                      Particularly vaitheeswarn koil is one of the famous temple for child first year
                      Removal of hair function and other ritual such as ankaraha dosham poojas.

                      As per the latest timing the train reaches midnight 2.30 am, those coming
                      For dharsan and poojas along with entire family comprising old age parents
                      One year old babies found more hardship. Unable to go to hotel, didn't get
                      Auto even though one or two auto available they ask around 200rs/300rs for even one km distance which is from station to temple.
                      2.30am is treated as mid night, some poor families forced to stay in this station which is full of mosquitos and spending sleepless night.

                      Considering the above please change previous time table to departure
                      At 11.45 pm is more convenient. If not possible the train should be
                      Stop one hour at villupuram junction and then proceed which will be more
                      Convienient.

                      Please not railway is one of the consumer durable organization, whenever
                      You are preponing the schedule one hour you need to consult the public
                      Openien through leading new paper and request to send their ideas through'
                      Sms, emil or upon receipt the railway should decide.
                      90% of the mainline passengers are not happy the resheduling of the
                      Uzhavan express.

                        Sir,
                        I was traveling from tiruninravur to chennai on 02 november 2017 by emu bearing no.43210.

                        The train hit an elderly person at annanur aroung 8am. The guard immediately swung into action. He provided first aid to the injured on the spot and moved him by the same train. He has promptly arranged for ambulance at ambattur and rushed him to hospital.

                        The name of the guard and driver is not known. But they should be commended appropriately for their exemplary act.

                          I just happened to see a water leakage at Basin bridge railway station, the water pipe seems to be broken and a lot of water is being wasted, the pipe is attached to the platform where the local trains go towards chennai central, please action asap

                            I am frequent train traveler of pandyan express. The toilets did not have any lights in s2 date of travel 24th october 2017, the toilets not clean very dirty, the toilet flush damaged and the toilets door lock was broken, the window on s2 beth 1 was damaged and kept closing all the time.. Washroom. Also the lock is very hard to slide that could not be locked & unlocked. The taps may be corrected to deliver more water flow. Explain the complaint.

                              Dear customer care,

                              I am trying to purchase a quarterly season tickets for commuting to my office. Yesterday 24th october 2017, around 7.30pm i went to counter to renew my ticket, the booking clerk said, paper roll on the swiping machine needs to be replaced, come tomorrow morning, when i went there at 7am today morning to renew, the staff were saying that they have exhausted with rolls, need to get it you need to pay only cash now. Unfortunately i was not having enough cash, am first class season ticket holder and also i was running out of time and missed my regular trains. Alternatively i was forced to come by bus to my office today. Our honourable pm says digital india, even in the booking office they don't accept the credit and debit card these are government outlets. It is shame on railway staff. Request the officers concerns to check the requirements of all booking office throughout chennai. Mainly at korattur railway station. Staff to be trained how to use the swiping machine, how to replace the paper rolls and ink cartridges etc.

                              Hope the railway authorities take appropriate actions at the earliest.

                                I clara b reshma booked a parcel to my son capt. Dr. Suneet john joseph of the indian army from kollam to durgapur on 04/10/17. It is an air bag wrapped in a gunny bag containing his uniforms and warm clothes, the consignment has not reached durgapur even to date 22/10/17.
                                Please do the needful to trace the parcel and reach it to the consignee.

                                  On 17 th october 2017 at 05:15am in ernakulam junction railway station, while taking ticket to thiruvalla i had only 100 rupees note as small amount so i place that note to counter person, he said it's only 25 he don't have change so he can't provide ticket and at infornt of public he shouted me, he treated me improperly using uncultured words. Railways are all for the public so please make your staff customers frendly other wise it's make lots of issues.

                                    I travelled in sleeper coach on 11th october 2017 and 13th october 2017 from chennai to mangalore to and fro.. The toil was uncleaned till the end.. Muthra shed s better better than southern railways toilet.. I donno what service they provide to the people.. The cleaning guys they are from north india and their behavious is worst.. One hindi known uncle helped us in telling them they started threatening him with loud voice and behaviour is worst.. After sometime they came with the paper to be signed but the toilet was not cleaned.. How to complain the service of this

                                      My journey was on 27.8.2017 ending at 2 am on 28th. Tdr filed on line at 14.41 on 30.8.2017. Reason fare difference as proper coach not attached.
                                      Repudated for reason delay in online filing.
                                      I have emailed 4 letters in this regard to [protected]@irctc.co.in, clarifying for : the actual time frame for dealy. All these mails were referred to southern railway.
                                      My last complaint with ticket id.6704016 was further referred to southern railways on 20.9.2017. No response yet.
                                      Tdr was filed online within 3 days. Is it a dealy?
                                      Kindly provide your time frame for filing tdr.

                                      Till date the complaint not resolved and refund not effected.
                                      Today 12 Oct 2017, GPD to Chennai Central train(6.00 AM)ran late. Trains towards GPD are always running late every day. More than 5000 people are affected.
                                      Coach no. S 6, Podhigai super fast train no.12661 doesn't have mug in the toilet. Please do the needful immediately. Train from Chennai to Sengottai leaving @ 8.55 pm today.Thanks and regards. B Chandran.

                                        It is very sad to say that the maintenance o[censored]nderground railway station at vyasarpadi jeeva station is very poor and filthy water is always stagnated in subway and passengers had to pass through the filthy water. It is also informed that due to the stagnation of water makes formation of germs and causes dengu fever. During the rainy season it becomes worse and could not pass through the subway and people had to walk over the track which causes danger. Improper maintenance of subway creates inconvenience to the passengers. Hence, we request to rectify the above lapses and help us to keep the premises in a clean manner and as desired by our prime minister.
                                        Southern Railway customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
