Am elakkiya we 7 friends went to beach today from tambaram to beach we had our tickets with return. We reached the beach and when we return back we went to chepauk railway station we dont know that we have to take separate ticket for that that lady checker blackmailed us they collected our id cards nd blackmailed that shall we go to court they fined each o[censored]s with rs.260 we paid it as they spoke very rubbishly we requested them to excuse us. Sir what we did was made unknowingly but that lady checker hurted with their bad words sir we are students we have some respect but they insulted ane hurted us more and blackmailed us too because all o[censored]s were girls we panicked we paid the fine but they cancelled the tambaram to beach ticket too it hurted us more that money which we paid us fine was oyr parents money they gave us for buying book. And another thing is two boys were caught for not having ticket they excused them. But we are students why they didnt excuse us sir we are badly hurted they have to answer us sir we want our money back

    Incident in ernakulam south railway station. This kind of situation instead of sitting in the chair people are sleeping straight as they are sleeping in the bed & thus causes other people to stand.For sleeping they are cosuming 3 chairs. Railwsy police should take necessary action against these. They will walk here and tgere but the never utter a word to those people . I dont know why. This is happening always in the ernakulam south railway station.

    It is pathetic that railway authorities are not taking any action against those people lying on the chair and making disturbance to the people.

      This local train -40701 starts from Beach to Tirumalpur. Daily departs late from Chengalpattu RS late by 15-20 minutes and reaches late at Kancheepuram by 30 to 40 minutes. The station authority at Chengalpattu is not careful in timings to give signal in time. Daily official commuters reaches Kancheepuram too late and suffers. Higher Authorities have to look into the matter and ensure to reach at Kancheepuram in scheduled time, i.e 9.35am. Today it departed 22 minutes late from Chengalpattu RS.

      Today 07.07.17, 9.91 am. This train is at Palur Railway station, detained since last 10 minutes. The time of reaching at Kancheepuram is at 9.35 am. Daily this train is delayed reaching at Kancheepuram. Higher authorities have to ensure its timely reaching at Kancheepuram. Inconvinience causing due to delay reaching.

        This train detained at Vandalur at 8.22 am to 9.02 am without any train crossing and no announcements by the authorities of Vandalur RS. Everyday the train reaches at Kancheepuram in late. Poor monitoring by Railway staffs. Higher Authorities have to look the matter and steps may be taken to maintain time. Today it will reach at 10.50 am, 1 hour 10 minutes late. What is the Service!!!

          Dear shri. Suresh prabhuji,

          I request you to instruct the following points to karaikudi junction adminstrator for immediate effect. As i am frequent traveller from chennai to karaikudi in the very same train number 16101 where i am facing hardship at karaikud junction.

          Every day at karaikudi junction early morning usually the platform number one is vacant after 5'o clock a. M. The station master never allows to halt the train number 16101 chennai - rameswaram express which usually arrives after 5, o clock from pudukkottai eventhough schedule arrival at 4.45 a. M.

          This is very hardship for senior citizen with luggages to climb the overbridge to cross from platform no2 to no 1. More over no porter also available in the station in the early morning.

          The lethargic attitude of station staff leads to hardship to passengers who are arriving from chennai even though platform no one is vacant,

          Kindly make small adjustment to be made late arrival of train number 16101 from pudukkottai to karaikudi after leaving the train pallavan express from karaikudi to chennai.

            Today our tmlp last service running very late. It's highly suffering to the passenger's. So many has to travel from kanchipuram about 15 kms to reach home. It's very difficult reach for them. Today it's expected to reach kanchipuram at 11.30 pm and it very hard for all anday we are suffering very lot. Kindly take the concern and help us to reaching train at on time.

              Respected sir. I am working in cs/vlcy as a sr. Tech and staying in railway quartets, velachery. Sir we are not having sufficient water. Iow peoples are giving water for two days ones. It is very difficult to maintain family. There is no facility for storing the water in inside the home. Iow peoples are playing game. Here for guarding purpose 1000s of litters water are wasting. They are giving preference for garden not for quartets. Please take necessary action immediately as early as possible. Thank u sir.

              I have taken a ticket in tuticorin melur station and i was not able to read the pnr no.the printing quality is bad.I request the railways to look in to the matter and print tickets that pnr number is readable

                Displays and speakers were not working before few weeks but for now speakers alone works. Last time missed the train without any notification inside a/c waiting hall, madurai, southern railways. Displays should not be turned off for it is used to get notified about train timings and speakers update is important to know about the trains current status. Last time this created a mess to miss the train. I had my ticket in 3 tier a/c but missed due to diplay and speakers which are turned off and couldn't get notified

                    R/sir,
                    I, Preeti M Nair, Working in Postal Department Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh ) had gone to Chennai for my elder sons routine check up after Kidney Transplant at Apollo Hospital, Chennai (Donor – Myself ) and also for my check up alongwith my husband and younger son. My return Ticket which was booked on 29.04.2017 with Waiting list no. PQWL/7 to PQWL 9, the ticket was not confirmed and after the chart was prepared it has come to Waiting list no. 1 to 3 (on 20.5.2017, we had given application to DRM, Chennai for confirmation of our tickets with PNR no.[protected] dtd. 20.05.2017 ) in Tamil Nadu express boarding at Chennai. We had gone to the station with our family and asked TTR to please adjust the tickets, but all in vain. As the train was at 10.00 pm and my husband went to cancel the tickets which was not cancelled as counter was closed (Timing 8.00 am to 8.00 pm). The next morning on 21.05.2017 my husband went to the station at 4.30 am for Tatkal Ticket and there also he asked for cancellation of tickets, but the rail authorities denied and asked him to send it to New Delhi office for refund.
                    Now, we have returned to Bhopal on tatkal ticket on 22.05.17 HA1 coach of Tamil Nadu express berth no. 1, 2, 3, for your reference, but our money is unnecessary blocked for refund of the tickets charges which has made a financial imbalance and also a great mental tension to me and my family during our journey to Chennai. I am enclosing the photocopy of tickets, Medical prescription of my son.
                    I have sent the letter alongwith the copy of ticket to The Indian Railway customer care, B-148, 11th Floor, Statesman House, Barakhamba Road New Delhi -110001, but they have asked vide their letter no.2017/IRCTC/ITC/Refund dtd. 9.6.17 (enclosed) to approach your office.
                    So, it is kindly requested to refund the ticket charges and oblige.

                    Sir, Please look into the matter as for refund of waiting list tickets. When taking tickets from counter, why we have to do so much formalities for getting refund of our amount. Why Only IRCTC tickets booked online are refunded. The passenger standing in ticket counter for tickets and taking tickets with cash have no value only online payments are refunded. Why this type of discrimnation.

                      Sir, local train no 40701 - beach to tirumalpur reached late at chengalpattu and inordinately delayed up 30 minutes and reaches kancheepuram too late daily. This train never reaches in scheduled time at kancheepuram for which daily office commuters are getting late.
                      Trains running between chengalpattu and kancheepuram are not within time schedule. Higher authorities of southern railway are requested to look into and advise all station masters between chengalpattu to kancheepuram to ensure time.
                      Please take steps to improve in reaching time of 40701 local train at kancheepuram. Regards.

                          Platform at tirupathiripuliyur railway station in cuddalore is not passenger friendly. It is very dangerous both to detrain and entrain. Train door step is above 4 feet. And gap between train and platform is more than 2 feet. Elders senior citizen find it almost impossible to use. Please do the needful.

                          All the compartments are stationed in a bend angle leading to a berry abnormal height and gap between platform and train.

                              I was travelling from ambalapuzha to trivandrum on[protected] in intercity express. The train arrives at 6:45. I came at 6:15 at the station. At that time ernad express was waiting at the station for clearance. I was the first person in the queue. The lady at the ticket counter on the same day was not ready to issue ticket to trivandrum since ernad express was at the station. I was ok and i waited till all passengers for ernad express was gone. After all of them was gone she has given ticket to a senior citizen just standing behind me. I have no complaints about giving ticket to that senior person. She printed two tickets and given one ticket to the senior citizen and with with the other ticket she lifted from her seat and was checking something at the almirah. She kept me waiting for another 5 minutes and she returned. To my surprise after returning to the seat she has given the same ticket which she was printed 5 minutes ago. I feel extremely unhappy at that point. No other railway ticket seemed this much unsatisfactory for me. So i thought i will report this. Similar condition occurred from the same lady at the ticket counter about two months ago. It was a sunday, i was travelling from ambalapuzha to trivandrum at 5:40 pm. I reached at 5:40 at the station. Train was waiting at the station for clearance. I requested the same lady for ticket. But she was not ready to give me the ticket. To my surprise she told me that she was not sure whether train is at tge station or not. But i can be able to see train at the station. I keep on begging for ticket and that gone around for 3 minutes and the train was ready to get going. After horn of the train was blown she is ready to give me a ticket. I don't know what is the problem with the lady. The person is at duty on[protected] morning on ambalapuzha station. I am hoping that similar conditions will not repeat again.

                                I booked one parcel (Parcel no.286615, 1 washing machine & 1 mattress) on 03.06.2017 from thalassery (Tly) to be delivered at podanur junction (Ptj). I was informed that parcel will be send by kannur - coimbatore passenger (56650) on 04.06.2017. It was not unloaded at podanur jn on 04.06.2017 due to defective parcel coach door as per railway officials. Parcel was later returned and unloaded at kannur (Can) railway station. I am given various reasons for last 4 days why my parcel is still kept at kannur railway station with out any action. Please take immediate action to deliver the parcel to me at podanur junction. I worry about the condition of parcel as it as electronic equipment.
                                I registered an complaint at indian railways web complaints and suggestion portal ref no is w/sr/sa/[protected].

                                  Booking date : 1 apr 2017
                                  Booked at rajahmundry railway reservation counter using credit card whereas one person is not travelling. So i reached out to gtl the day before the date of journey for partial cancellation, they said they are not having the cancellation policy for the tickets booked using credit card and there is no other alternative other than loosing money.

                                  I reached out to ticket collector in train for this, he marked on my ticket and marked in his form as passenger not travelling and suggested me to file tdr in rjy station for the same. Whereas in rjy, they told like this cannot be done here, as tc has to stamp on this ticket.
                                  If there is a facility to book tickets using credit/debit card, why there cannot have a facility to cancel ticket which is booked using credit/debit card?
                                  Finally i lost the ticket money.

                                  I provided details of only one ticket here, whereas the same thing happened for another 14 tickets (7 tickets from rjy to gtl and 7 tickets from gy to rjy) for which all needs to be partially cancelled. But was not done for same reason. We totally lost rs 7300.

                                  Please do needful as we lost money only because the digital cancellation system is not available at boarding station.

                                    I traveled in hyderabad exp on 23/05/2017 to secunderabad. My coach no being S5, berth no being 32 and PNR no being [protected]
                                    I noticed that there was no night lamp in entire coach and we find it difficult to move.So also one of the toilet light in that coach which was towards guard side not working. Even after reporting to the TTD at about 21-00hrs, no remedy

                                    I returned to chennai from vijawada by Jan shadabdi express on25/05/2017. My PNR no being [protected] and seat no being D1 - 11. Again there was no light in the toilets towards guard side which made difficult for passengers

                                    These two incidents shows that regular coach inspection and maintainance is missing.

                                    Price is very high in Chennai Central ratnacafe, and quality of food (lemon rice) is not​good, it is smelling bad.

                                      On 23rd May 2017, there was no train coming after 4:10AM at Nemilichery station for about 1:15 hrs.We tried to 139 but we could not get when the EMU would come and the reason for not arrival, Regarding this, there is no announcement at ticket counter, and that lady refused to ask SM of nearest railway station. In this regard, On behalf of passengers I request to place the phone numbers(at ticket counters of each stations) of nearest railway stations SM contact number for enquiry.

                                      We missed our money RS-5, 300 at DAUND station.before enter our S1 - coach we saw our money after that we sat our seat at that time our handbag was opened then we checked our money it was stolen by some thief.so could you please help us to get our money it would be very grateful to you .

                                        We were travelling with kids by 16351 in coach B1. There was no cleaning done in the coach for the entire duration. We complained regarding it after a small kid defecated near the entrance and it spread inside the coach causing a bad odour. The cleaning staff at Chengalpattu behaved very badly commenting loudly if this was even a reason to call them. When we objected and pointed out the place where the kid had defecated(which by now had dried up or spread inside), they rudely said that we had complained about garbage and not potty, hence they did not get the right equipment and this is the best they could do(spraying some liquid and scraping it off). Their attitude towards the cleanliness that they are responsible for maintaining, and their way of treating passengers was extremely shocking. Basic cleanliness is all we expect and such things make us rethink if we would ever want to travel with kids by our trains again.
