Trains which are coming from Nagercoil to Trivandrum is having almost 90% employees who all are working in trivandrum. There is only 2 passenger trains available from nagercoil in the morning peak hours 6.30AM & 8 AM from nagercoil. Before reaching tvc these trains are getting held in nemam and outer in order to cross and move other trains from platform. Request to give importance to these passenger trains reaching tvc so that the employees will not get suffer.

    I had booked my ticket online on 19th January 2017 for m;y travel on 20th Jan 2017 under tatkal quota from Trivandrum Central to Dindigul Junction by Ananthapuri express 3a/c. The train departed from TVC on 20th January 2017 at 17:40. It reached Kulithurai around 20:00hours. We were informed that the train is cancelled between Nagercoil and Chennai due to unrest in Madurai region. We had no other alternative. So cancelled the Journey. I filed TDR. Now I received the following information.
    The TDR filed against PNR Number [protected] with reason Train Terminated Short Of Destination. has been repudiated by the Chief Commercial Manager/Refunds null due to reason null as per the Indian Railways Refund Rules
    I have a strong feeling that I should get refund. It is not my fault.
    kindly consider my request and refund the eligible amount.

      In local train from tambaram to beach and beach to tambaram thEre are too many third genders are there in trains and they are torturing the passengers for money plz do something as soon as possible for to avoid that third genders for begging they dont beg they are disturbing others and expecially north indians they fight with them and tat guys give the money...,

        Good Evening...!!

        Today I am travelling from NGT TO TJ Passenger 18.30 train, while travelling i found one handicap (single leg) beat to one senior citizen passenger who has to drop AYM (adiyakkamangalam). before he was not well due to blood feeding (handicap using blade inside the currency). So I request our team try to prohibit the beggars with all train to avoid such unfortunate happening future in all passengers. Hope you will make sure that the passenger safety from SR.

          We are paying high amount and travelling in trains like Shatabdi considering certain comforts.

          Today 22.01.17 morning at Chennai Central in Coimbatore Shatabdi Express a beggar was freely begging in our C4 compartment at 7.05 am. He doesn't have fear in coming to AC compartments for begging .He was adamant in leaving the compartment and behaved as if was General compartment.Ask authorities to take action .

            This regarding my TDR Filled against PNR Number [protected] with reason train Late more than 3 hours and passenger not travelled.

            I have NOT received any SMS from DM-IRSMSA/IRCTC on T.No. 12658 rescheduled/ postponement on Fri Jan06 2017 or till date
            Because of that I have spent my time and energy and amount to reach SBC Railway on Fri Jan 06 22.30.00 got information that train rescheduled to Sat Jan 07 11.45 AM.

            Since have to appointment in Chennai as per my plan, I have travelled by BUS and spent decent amount to reached Chennai.

            I have applied TDR filled on Monday and got rejected as CR Repudiate with reason Invalid TDR Timestmap : DELAY

                  I travelled with family by Train No: 12672/Nilagiri Express from Mettupalayam to Chennai on 29/12/2016. PNR No: [protected]. The bedsheets provided seemed to be washed but they had stains. Two sheets had to be returned as we did not feel like using them. Kindly look into this. When we pay so much for our travel we expect cleanliness. Kindly ensure that clean sheets are provided so that we can sleep peacefully during the overnight journey. Thanks.

                    Today I was travelling from Tambaram to Guduvanchery. I had my season ticket from Tirusulam to Guduvanchery in the UTS mobile appliation. Suddenly my phone crashed i.e., the touch screen didn't work in the lower left region. I tried to reason with the ticket checker for about half an hour that I can't login to my account to show the ticket due to the touch screen failure. I finally paid the fine of Rs. 255. I tried resetting my password and after many unsuccessful attempts I finally managed to change the password and successfully opened my account and I returned and showed the ticket to the same ticket checker. But he refused to refund saying that once the receipt was given the money could not be refunded. This is unfair. I mean I was fined since the checker thought I didn't have my ticket. But even after I showed my ticket I was not refunded. I want justice and nobody should face this problem in the future. I hope that you would take the necessary measures.

                      Dear sir/madam,
                      I am from ramanathapuram. Regular passenger of madurai to rameshwaram passenger train on regularly. Every week three days madurai to rameshwaram passenger train (Train no-56725) was stop on 8.40 pm -9.50 pm one hour for ramanathapuram railway station for crossing two trains.
                      So passengers of old peoples, pilgrims, children's & babies, workers all are faced lot's of problem that time. Why they are crossing two trains in ramanathapuram?. Please solve the problem to future.

                      There was delay every day for 1hour each time I travel from khammam(KMT) to mahabubabad(MABD).
                      and even the updation of train spot I come to station on right time and wait approximately 80 minutes which pains a lot, may I know the reason atleast why there is no updation.

                        Today five adulys and two children reached tvpm railway station to travel as already booked.. We came to know that train is late by 2 hrs. So we checked in to the waiting room after paying rs10 per adult. After 2 hours we got to know that the train is being further delayed. We were asked to pay further 10 per person to continue using the waiting room. We are being charged again and again for a reason railway is mresponsible. I feel this is gross injustice shown to passengers. Please look into the matter.

                          I had bought train ticket with cash payment on 9th nov16 from Chennai to Nizamuddin. By some personal emergencies had to cancel my travel plan at night 10 pm, so called 139 for cancellations, they didn't accept it n chart got prepared by night 2am. Ticket Counter classes at 8 pm an opens in morning 8am. Train starts in morning 6.55am. It was highly impossible for passengers to cancel ticket on counter in between this timing. When I reached station counter in morning 9am for some solutions they told once chart prepared nothing can be done and no tefunds. This is really not fair and correct for counter booking passengers. People buying ticket online can claim for tdr. But ticket booked on counter doesn't have any option. No TDR nothing. I want to know under which rule this comes. No were ur is mentioned about this. I want to claim for refund as well as compensation for trouble as passengers I faced.

                            On 8/12/2016 my daughter swetha alone was travelling from cherthala to trivandrum at 6. Pm in jan shathabdi train no12075. The ticket was booked by me online vide pnr no [protected]. She was coming from cherthala engineering college after surrendering her college id card since she had completed her studies. She was travelling in d12, seat no 84. She was bit tensed since train was already late by almost one hour and no other ladies were in the coach. Before reaching alappuzha a tte came and verified her ticket. He then asked for the id. She was having her driving licence colour photocopy. Then the tte suddenly got angry and started shouting at her with high voice. And he asked her to get down at alappuzha. It was almost dark and there were not much train to trivandrum. He asked for 400 rs and she gave that amount. Still he was shouting at her. Everybody was looking at her as if he had caught a thiefs. She started crying and called me. I was in kozhikode for an offical tour. Then i called one of my tte friend in trivandum. Mean while every travellers in the compartment came and argued with the tte for threating and make crying a girl especially in the night. One more tte from another compartment also came and he also started threatening. And he gave a white paper and asked her to write something that they have not taken money etc.. That time he given back 400 rupees since the passengers were telling him that they will give complaint about threatening and buying money.
                            My daughter is still mentally upset. So i request an urget action against him and please let me the know the actions. I am ready to come along with my daughter and ready to give evidence.

                            Exorbitant Rate charged for a ticket .

                            PNR[protected] .Train No: 82631 - Chennai - Kollam Suvidha Special. Date of Journey -02/12/2016. Class 2nd AC.Rate -
                            Ticket was purchased from the reservation counter at Kottayam railway station.
                            I was charged this exorbitant rate of Rs 4910/ for a ticket booked under general quota .When I checked the rate online later on, it showed as Rs 1690/ only. I could've taken a flight instead by paying this amount !!
                            I would like to know why I was charged this rate . If it was an error, I would like to have the additional amount refunded.
                            Expecting an immediate action from your end.

                              Hi my name is Ashish shetty. I am based in united states newly married we decided to visit Munnar for our honeymoon destination. Had a great time in Munnar for 6 days. Thereafter I had reserved train tickets from ernakulam to mangalore to visit mangalore for a day and fly back to states the next day. There was a 4 hour delay in the train first. No one informed us what really happened. No one offered us any food been starving since 5 in the morning. Really upset with the services this would be my first and last time travelling in this route. A/C wasn't working. In all a devastating experience with southern railways.

                                This local train reaches 8am at tambaram station. Reaching time at kancheepuram at 9.32 am. It never reaches kancheepuram in time. Daily late. Today it reached at 10am, departed from chengalpattu at 9 am. No time control and full of mismanagement. The daily official commuters suffering a lot. Request to take suitable measures that this train adheres reaching time at kancheepuram so as to enable passengers to reavh office in time.

                                  Yesterday I have traveled in Malabar Express with my father from Aluva to Trivandrum. On Sunday night I have enquired about timing and informed it is on right time (2.59 AM). But upon reaching Aluva railway station Monday morning I came to know it is late by 2 Hours.

                                  We were going to RCC Hospital, TVM related to treatment of Cancer for my father there.

                                  All our plans got affected by this sudden change. We have booked 3rd AC tickets for both side travel in Malabar Exp & Bangalore Exp (Return)-12.45, the same day.

                                  The return journey in Bangalore Exp. was not possible after RCC review of my father, since Malabar was 2 Hrs. late. And Return Ticket cancellation was not possible at station. We have opted KSRTC for return.

                                  I have got the information that Malabar Exp. started 2 hours late at Bangalore due to track not available situation only. I think, such situations are to avoided by the railway staff. We are not expecting such from Southern Railway in future.

                                    Uts mobile app payment gateway restricted with paytm

                                    This is kowsigan i'm a first class season ticket passenger (uts : c2fcblyoe1)

                                    I would like to understand why uts moble app payment gateway is restricted only with paytm. and why other payment gateway for net banking & plastic cards are not available.

                                    And why paytm collects service charge:rs. 10/- per transaction.

                                    This creates a strong doubt that does southern railway is...

                                    We find a great improvement in indian railways and sincerely thank you for all the initiatives taken by you.

                                    I travel frequently between bangalore and gudiyattam by train no 17210

                                    On nov 7th i had booked to travel in 2tier a/c, i call up the railway station no[protected] at 7.30am and they always confirm (Without checking) that the train is on time, but the train actually arrived at 8.50iam i. E. 35 minute late.

                                    Pnr [protected] - gudiyattam to bangalore 2 tier ac nov 11th. I call up the station at 7.45am and the staff was not able to confirm the arrival time in gudiyattam, he instead asked me to call up after 8.00 am!!! But when i called at 8.03 am the staff informed me that the train left katpadi at 7.55am and is arriving in gudiyattam at 8.15 am. I was not able to reach the station by then i missed the train. I then had to go by road transport to ambur and take double decker train no 22625 to bangalore by paying rs 340.00.

                                    I had to go thru all the hardship and bear additional costs due to carelessness of the station - in-charge. I have complained several times but it appears that railways do not wish to take action against erring/careless/lazy employees.

                                    I pray that atleast this time you will-initiate an enquiry and put this almost dead station alive.

                                      Hi, Im a commuter of the Chennai local train services. I go to work from Chetpet to Paranur. My work place is at Mahindra City. Including myself there are may people who are finding it difficult travelling when they are working in shifts. It would be much easier if the Chengelpet train that comes to Checpet station by 12:08 PM, comes in advance by 20 minutes or so.
                                      We are working in shifts and the 12:08 PM train from Chetpet to Chengelpet seems to be very late. So Kindly consider this humble request and help us out.
