Respected sir,

We find a great improvement in indian railways and sincerely thank you for all the initiatives taken by you.

I travel frequently between bangalore and gudiyattam by train no 17210

On nov 7th i had booked to travel in 2tier a/c, i call up the railway station no[protected] at 7.30am and they always confirm (Without checking) that the train is on time, but the train actually arrived at 8.50iam i. E. 35 minute late.

Pnr [protected] - gudiyattam to bangalore 2 tier ac nov 11th. I call up the station at 7.45am and the staff was not able to confirm the arrival time in gudiyattam, he instead asked me to call up after 8.00 am!!! But when i called at 8.03 am the staff informed me that the train left katpadi at 7.55am and is arriving in gudiyattam at 8.15 am. I was not able to reach the station by then i missed the train. I then had to go by road transport to ambur and take double decker train no 22625 to bangalore by paying rs 340.00.

I had to go thru all the hardship and bear additional costs due to carelessness of the station - in-charge. I have complained several times but it appears that railways do not wish to take action against erring/careless/lazy employees.

I pray that atleast this time you will-initiate an enquiry and put this almost dead station alive.

    Hi, Im a commuter of the Chennai local train services. I go to work from Chetpet to Paranur. My work place is at Mahindra City. Including myself there are may people who are finding it difficult travelling when they are working in shifts. It would be much easier if the Chengelpet train that comes to Checpet station by 12:08 PM, comes in advance by 20 minutes or so.
    We are working in shifts and the 12:08 PM train from Chetpet to Chengelpet seems to be very late. So Kindly consider this humble request and help us out.

      I booked train PNR [protected] on 3rd Nov but train reached platform 5 at 23:05 but departed perfectly at 23:15 (its scheduled departure time). I checked with inquiry at 22:45 only to be told that it will be at designated platform 20 min before. I called 138 and made a complaint W/SR/MAS/00016522 and I haven't contacted as mentioned in the automated message till date. Foul smell emanated from coach I reported the same to supervisor (in white pant and whit shirt) who was standing in front of coach and also with TTE who was standing next to him. He called up controls but the train started. I was speaking to 138 while the train was moving and no body listened. I spoke to controller after boarding into train only to be told "what can you do", "whatever possible you do"".
      I returned on 7th but haven't contacted by anyone. I called up again and was told I will get a call back.

      Got a call back from Ms. Gowri who found not all my concerns were not registered in the already raised complaint. She also told as per her records train reached platform at 22:55 (20 min before scheduled departure) but agreed due to lack of time toilets were not cleaned.

      I narrated everything to her and she said the concerned controller will call and apologize. I wanted the same in writing to my registered e-mail id with IRCTC ( she also got it from me). I wonder the pathetic way of dealing by Southern Railways.

      I am yet to receive any update about the action taken. The correct complaint number is W/SR/MAS/[protected]missed the last digit earlier). The complaint was closed without any proper response made on the original complaint. I raised another complaint W/SR/MAS/[protected] but haven't heard anything so far. Please refer the attached images for reference.

        Need pharmacy

        In our Chennai central railway station there is no medical shops are available. Kindly arrange a pharmacy inside. It is very much helpful for all our people's. Our central railway station is one of the biggest station in the world. But inside the station we are unable to get any medicines. So please consider my request.

        Why LHB coaches are fitted only in pandyan express but not in nellai express or Pearl city express ? Madurai division always treats people south of Madurai as second class citizens. Any thing that is new or good will come only to Madurai or Pandyan exprees such things never come to tirunelveli or tuticorin. Coaches in pandyan express are new, modern, clean and well maintained. But coches in nellai express and pearl city express are always old, dilapidayed, dirty and badly maintained.

          I am a railway employee. my aunty is a cancer patient. she is resident of chennai. she is taking treatment at meenakshi mission hospital in madurai. my uncle on 3.11.2016 thursday midday went to reserve ticket at madurai railway station booking counter for return journey. One booking clerk asked my aunty that means patient id proof. without proof of my aunty my uncle has been waited for one hour near the counter. clerk also told not to come to booking the tickets. at last most requested to the clerk and supervisor of booking room he got the ticket.             I am Dr P.P. Venugopalan, 70 years old and my wife 63 yrs old resched Shornur railway station on 27th october to board Garib Rath Express 12202, .The train was late for more than 45 minutes and the local authorities were not able to inform the concerned passengers where the train would enter- I mean the platform number. Webeing, senior citizens need more time to reach the allocated platform.On enquiry, the porters and vendors, taking pity on us told the train may come to any ofthese platforms- 4, 5, 6 or7 . We were then waiting on the overbridge at a strategic location to reach to any of these platform numbers when the divine announcement is heard.
            Our coach no was J2 and our attempts to find out the coach location also failed, as none could give us the exact location.The train streamed in and we were more or less placed in the mid location of the platform and we saw J1 immediately after the engine and presuming J2 as the next coach, we lifted our bags and started running to J2 but then to our surprise, we found the coach that folllowed J 1 was G 1 and then folowed G 2 to G 10. As the train started moving by then, we asked the fellow passengers there who revealed that J 2 Coach was at the terminal end of the train, then we both started carrying our bags and walking through all G serial coaches to reach J2 coach, which took us about 15-20 mts. of hard toiling to keep our balances steady.And the AC Chair car coach J 2 was in two divided parts and with hardly any space to even sit properly.( it was a much smaller chair car coach)
            Somehow we got into our seats and cursed our fate and " congratulated" railways for their brilliant idea of seperating J1 and 2 COACHES wide apart with 10 G coaches in between.
            Even the rail authorities at the station fail to inform the exact platform number, how does the 139 magic number supposed to give us the platform number etc.?
            Will remain grateful if the authorities could apply common logic instead of an unnatural logic in placing the coaches in a haphazard fashion and also ensure that the coaches positioned are travel worthy, so that the minimum comfort is provided to the passengers.

              I booked online ticket for TVC to ERS, PNR Number [protected] by Train No. 22648 / KORBA EXPRESS, date of journey 29/08/2016. But
              this Train was rescheduled by 14 hrs .
              I couldn’t wait so long due catch the flight from Kochi. Hence I filed TDR for the same as per rule. And I travelled by bus. I HAVE NOT TRAVELLED BY Train No. 22648 / KORBA EXPRESS ON 29/08/2016.
              But now after one and half month later TDR was rejected saying that I was travelled on same train. Which is not possible.
              I have also SMS received from IRSMSA in which it is clearly mentioned that Train is delayed by 14 hrs.
              Also I visited TVC station to make sure and there I heard continuous announcement from Public announcement system about delay of Train No. 22648 /KORBA EXPRESS due to Train accident near Kochi .
              I have sufficient evidence to show that I have not travelled on this train on
              29/08/2016 PNR Number [protected] due to train late. Amount of refund is not so much but I suffered a lot on this particularly date
              due to delay of this train on 29/08/2016, I have wasted more money and time by bus and over that you people telling lie to reject TDR
              by giving false reason .

                Mannai express @kmu was to have arrived at23.20 hrs.It was delayed and was [protected]@23.40 as per announcement.Suddenly there was an announcement that Rameswaram express was to arrive and the display board was also changed.All of a sudden from Bolt from Blue Mannai express arrived.There was no announcement either.The display board was showing details of Rameswaram express.People ran helter skelter and many had to board the train in different coaches and wade through to reach their coaches.I understand that some who had booked by Rameswaram also boarded MannaiI It is possible that some would have missed mannai becuse of the goo[censored]p

                  HA1 F cabin 19.10.2016 TPJ departure. Arrival MS 20.10.2016 PNR [protected]. The attendant Karuppusamy was of hindrance blocking gangway picking up quarrel. If not of any help at least should not be of problem to alighting. Needless to add the non care attitude and behaviour of one Mr.Mathews of SMR office who was engaging him in gangway and recording to passengers in most arrogant way as if passengers are of no concern. Both action needs to be condoned and suitably punished.

                    16316- Kochuveli Bangalore express train starting from Kochuveli station at 4.45 pm and it used to lag behind a passenger train 56304 which is usually late. The passengers of express train is having the previlege over the passenjers of passenger train to travel faster. But here this express train moves like tortoise behind the passenger upto kayankulam junction (KYJ) which makes the journey in Bangalore express a tedious one. Please do the needful to delay the passenger Train(NCJ- KOTTAYATM) at koĺlĺam or some other staion and thus positively address our grievance .Recently this is becoming worse and your interventìon is needed at this juncture

                      This is a kind request to the railway department to change the Maveli express timing from trivandrum to mangalore or change the name of the train. I am saying this, because of frequent late arrival of Maveli express many other trains are getting affected like some passenger trains. People including in the affecting trains are cursing the name Maveli who is a hindu religious asura king.

                        I am a Senior citizen of 68 years old female .I booked one A2 ticket on[protected] at 16.11 hours in Nagerocil (NCJ) to travel form Chennai Egmore to Nagercoil Junction ( NCJ ) in Train no 12633 on 22.10.2016. I wanted a lower berth and I had made the request in the application form. The lower berths were available as we had already checked in online .Even after several requests orally the booking clerk did not allocate the convenient berth to me. With this, It would be difficult for me to travel .I want to bring it to your notice and request you to give any suitable action

                          When i done the booking, it was under waiting list, also i checked the dynamic fare rules where it is mentioned no dynamic applicable for wait list ticket.

                          But i have been charged with dynamic fare for all the 3 tickets booked from my end.

                            Regular Commuters and office goers are facing lot of issue due to the scarcity of suburban electric trains to chengelpet and paranur during morning office peak hours from tambaram . Commuting in morning hours has becoming a tedious task as there are less trains to chengelpet after 8 AM .
                            Trains which are currently running are being heavily packed as there
                            are lot of educational institutions like SRM University, Manufacturing industries like Ford, Mahindra etc and IT companies like Infosys, capegemini etc in the stretch between potheri and chengelpet.
                            There is a good scope for introducing new train between 8.00 AM and 9.45 AM as there are less trains running during this hours which would really help public a lot. Hence pleading southern railways and concerned authorities to introduce new trains in this stretch to help general public and to avoid untoward accidents due to the immense crowd during travel .

                              Sir,
                              I am 40 year old lady and was traveling alone from chennai to mysuru by train no:16021 kaveri express on 11/09/2016 by sleeper on s13 coach seat no:60 pnr no: [protected]. After the train left chennai central station the tte came and checked tickets of passengers including mine. There was a lady on the lower berth opposite to my berth who alighted at the bangalore station. (There was a male passenger sitting on the window seat who was allotted a different berth after checking the tickets at chennai) the lower berth opposite to mine became empty and after the train left bangalore station the same tte who had checked my ticket touched me inappropriately while i was sleeping and when i woke up he told me that he is the tte and asked me for my mobile phone number. When i threatened him that i will call the police he ran away. After some time he came back and threatened me if i made a complaint to the authorities. I request you to take immediate action against this railway staff to prevent him from attacking other women traveling alone.

                                I catch chelgalpattu train from saidapet at 8.47 am to work. This train comes late atleast 3 to 4 days a week in peak hour. We do not have train for about 20 to 30 minutes whenever it comes late. It causes a big inconvenience to all o[censored]s. We could not reach office in time. In this week itself yesterday (13.09.16) and today (14.09.16) train is late by 20 minutes. Please solve this issue.

                                    I am regurarly travelling by train at chegalpet fast in chennai. There is no proper time to reach the station at peak timings. All the people are working who are travelling the train. Chennai is one the metro city all the people residing over here. Every body looking for fast to reach the office correct time, but train is not coming properly at correct timings. We people are waiting for 45 minutes for one train. Even we can get the train frequently from tamabaram only. Many of them coming for chengalpet, vandular, guduvancheri, perungalathur they can't get the frequently because train will come by 45 min once. Perungalthur is now one of the peak area can't imagine so many passengers are waiting for 45 min for this train because for late train at peak time. Two timing passenger combined together rushing over there. Women compartment can't able to adjust together and didn't get the space for standing also and curshed people together. The reason behind from 8:20 train will come at 8:40 then 8:40 timing people are merged together fighting over there. Why don't consider about passenger at peak time. We always looking for fast train to reach the office soon but the train always coming late chengalpet fast trains are worst for coming at peak times. Please take the immediate action for this daily people are suffering a lot for late coming train.

                                      I am regular passenger, travelling daily from ernakulam to thrissur. It is very sad to inform you that there is no train regular train service from thrissur to ernakulam between 4 pm to 5.50 pm which is most peak time and lot of passengers like teachers, government servants, bank employees, students, private employees (Lot of female passengers also) are depending nilmbur ernakulam passenger for travelling to ernakulam after their hectic office hours. If you can start a memu/demu service from thrissur to ernakulam at 5 - 5.30 pm with stops at thrissur - chalakkudy - angamali - aluva - ernakulam, that will be a great relief for many regular passengers. Now the nilmbur passenger is reaching ernakulam at 8- 8.15 pm and the unfortunate passengers again to catch buses, autos etc to reach home and most of them are reaching home 9 to 10 pm. The next day early morning they have to start their journey to their work places... No life... No relaxation... Who can see this???
