Your employee miss soumasree dey, kolkata airport, time 6:00 am charged me rs. 600 for extra 2 kg check-in luggage when my combined (Check-in plus hand bag) luggage was less than 22 kg. I transferred 1 kg after she informed me regarding the excess luggage. I ran out of space in my hand bag and insisted if she could adjust the weight. She was rude in conservation and was not at all passenger friendly and despite my reasoning that my overall luggage is less than 22 kg, she went ahead with the charging. It ain't about rs. 600 but the harassment and the reply from the employee that caused the inconvenience. For an airline company constantly claiming to provide hastle free and pleasing journey, this comes as a mere disappointment.
P. S - i was on a connecting flight and the earlier airlines go - air did not harrass me with the extra luggage issue.

    Spicejet customer (Pnr-): my flight sg 3219 dated 29-nov-17 from kolkata to silchar has been cancelled due to operational reasons. I have understand the situation and i'am waiting in the counter of your spicejet kolkata for last 4 hours and your representative behavior was so rough they didn't provide me the accommodation as i have 4 tickets from patna to silchar connecting and i don't have anyone in kolkata to staying whole night as i have 2 children with me it was essential to have a secure place for staying. And as my flight was cancelled because of operational issue i think it was your company's responsibility to cooperate with us and provide the accommodation but your kolkata division staff named mr. Abhijit, mr. Baruah, mr. Thomas, mr. Sair and there a girl i don't know the name exactly showing so attitude towards your customer and don't even response, so i think you have to see the matter and do the rightful action against the complain.
    I have booked a ticket on dec 19 from vijayawada to hyderabad at 14.25 and from there i have an other flight to goa at 16.50 now flight got delayed by 1hour then how can i catch other flight .If you can refund or else rebook my flight in morning or else dont change the timing

      Dear sir,
      Sub:- complaint against booking id: nf[protected]. Pnr. M7mv3m.
      Spicejet sg-278 from chennai to agartala with stopover at kolkata.

      I, firoz saifuddin joher, a frequent flier with your airlines would like to bring the following facts for your kind knowledge and necessary action in the matter.

      I travelled on your flight sg-278 on 12th nov, 2017 from chennai to agartala with stopover at kolkata, with my wife masooma firoz joher.

      The person at your check-in desk at chennai asked me to upgrade our seats to spice max on payment of rs. 1000/- with the facility of priority boarding, priority luggage receipt at agartala, extra leg space and two meals, one on the flight from chennai to kolkata and other from kolkata to agartala.
      I very much regret to inform you that on the flight from chennai to kolkata of the 4 choices of the meal i gave to the air hostess none was served to me and i was served the meal which was available. On my flight from kolkata to agartala, i was not given any meals or snacks which i was supposed to get as told to me by your check in counter staff.

      At agartala i was supposed to get my luggage on priority basis as it was market priority, but i regret i got it very late and when i received my luggage one of my bags was wet and stinking with the bad smell of fish, due to which all my clothes and packets of biscuits, dry fruits, cosmetics, ladies purses etc got wet and stinking with the bad smell and odour of fish water, because of which i have suffered loss of a considerable amount.

      The matter was brought to the notice of your staff at agartala airport, who spoke on phone with his senior and regretted that spice jet does not carry any fish in their flights and all the above happened due to other passengers carrying fish in their luggage, which is a lame excuse because how can spicejet allow its passengers to carry these type of items in their checked in luggage which is scanned at the airport, this is not the fault of the passenger but of spicejet.

      In view of the above you are requested to look into the matter and make good my loss amounting to rs, 10, 000/- at your earliest and ensure that these things do not happen in future,

        Hi SpiceJet,
        I have booked tickets for your flight through make my trip which I need to cancel as my 7 months baby who had to accompany us has fallen sick with viral infection. Since it’s a small baby doctor suggested we avoid traveling as she’s still recovering slowly and the trip is not far away.
        When I tried to cancel the tickets, the refund amount was only Rs.456 while the tickets costed us Rs.17, 900. I am sure you understand that a small baby’s health was concerned and hence we had to cancel the trip on medical grounds.
        I’m even attaching the medical reports. I’m sure a company of your size will empathize with a small baby health and consider refund.
        You should know most mothers book tickets based on how kid friendly the airlines are and this would be an opportunity for you to prove it to them.
        I have already mailed your customer support and nodal office where I haven’t got any response.

          On 24th. Nov.2017 we (Myself & my wife) was to fly on sg 517 under
          Pnr no. H3g72y from goa to pune.
          I booked 2 meal + 1 beverage againest advance payment. But in flight crew member provide only one meal + beverage, when i asked for second meal, crew said we don't have any other (Second) meal and said you can write a complaint for this.
          Please check & take necessary action.

            Hi team,
            Very bad incident happened with me for spicejet flight first telling me that it's late to be started from 13:50 and then later getting more late, i had go to delhi by road from jammu on 26th nov. '17
            I had spicejet flight from jammu at 12:20 pm which got delayed due to 'technical fault' the new time was 14:20
            But from srinagar my connecting indigo flight to bangalore was at 14:45
            So had to cancel jammu flight and while doing that got late for cancelling indigo flight. Spicejet employees were busy in many other things rather than helping me get my checked in baggage quickly so indigo team refused to cancel as their flight was on time - and cancellation can be done 2 hours before departure time. No spicejet staff helped me regarding this although most part of the ongoing ticket amount was of indigo's so lost more than 6000 for indigo pnr m9uyqs
            My brother had already started with parents for amritsar after dropping me at airport, after i called him by using a security personnel phone (No outside sim works in jammu and kashmir so my mobile was always not working)- he came back 100 kms to pick up and take me to delhi as there was no connecting flight from j and k at that time
            So couldn't do office the next and more than 15000 rupees loss i faced by having to buy new ticket.

            I need a compensation payment for this 2 hour delay of spicejet that made me miss my important office meeting and lose so much money by missing the connecting indigo flight which i couldn't cancel on time due to spicejet not supporting enough to cancel their delayed flight soon

            I had purchased a chicken tikka meal and got forgien particle couple of times from the meal which compelled me to leave half of the meal . The only courtesy to compensate was a deep apology which i appreciate but no refund not even a penny . I think my money it wasnt professional and fair of the airlines to behave like this

              Boarding time is 30 minutes before departure yet gate closing is 20 minutes prior. Only allow 10 minutes to board and many people missed the Same flight. Did not experience this with vistara or goindia

                Spicejet horror @flyspicejet

                Spicejet [mr. Ajay sing (Chairman and managing director, spicejet] @flyspicejet

                This is the worst experience i ever had in my life. A passenger spending this much money on air tickets and keeping their luggage/belongings (Check in luggage) with them (Spicejet) and we passengers are fool who think our luggage is safe and secure. Actually it’s not.

                I flew from dubai on 17th november (Friday) at 12:55 pm and landed at mangalore airport dated 17th november 2017 at 06:00 pm. After all the security check as usual i was waiting for my luggage (One trolley and one trekking bag) total of 23kg luggage. I waited almost 30 minutes for my luggage and in 5 minutes gap i received my both luggage. Trolley bag was locked and trekking bag was zipped.

                I went outside the airport and started my road journey. I have to travel almost 4 hours to reach my home town and once i reach home i opened my trolley bag and i found my brand new phone is missing (It was sealed) i took everything from that bag and nothing was there then i checked my trekking bag and i found my brand new phone’s empty box with charger socket inside.

                At the same time i called spicejet customer care to register a complaint against this, initial feedback was like sir give us 48 hours then we will get back to you with the update. Sorry lady can’t wait for 48 hours. I requested her that i need an update by tomorrow morning 10:00am (18th november). I received a call from mr. Baljeet singh [senior executive - customer experience, spicejet ltd] at 10:12am and this guy was talking about company policy. Sorry sir i was not waiting for your call to listen your company policy. I can read it from anywhere. Then again and again he was repeating the same and he said we will investigate this case and we will be back with an update.

                Company policy in short: if you lost something then you have to check your checking luggage at the airport. It means if a person is carrying 30kg luggage and after waiting for 30 minutes he/she has to check each and everything then only he/she should go out. I asked one question with mr baljeet sing that are you following the same procedure, then he didn’t answer me about this he was repeating the same thing sir, this is our company policy.

                With due respect to your position and seniority i must say you are well trained. Not only you whoever is handling spicejet’s twitter account you people too.

                If you lost something while traveling then you have to report this at the airport at the same time. I just want to know how a person can report to airport authority when there was nothing suspicious with the luggage. I will suggest please make it simple for passenger and while flying you people can announce that we have 2 or 3 robbers in our loading/unloading section please check your luggage while leaving the airport and if you missed to report before leaving the airport then it’s ours.

                Finally after investigation i received a call from mr baljeet sing again (I received this call after multiple follow up through twitter) his response: sir we went through all the steps and we didn’t found your phone.in a single line he closed my complaint. I request him to send or share with me the complete report what you guys have done to share with me this report. Then again he came up with his company policy. I don’t know who wrote this policy but it’s not at all for the passengers. Then after my continuous request he disconnected the call, because as i said earlier he is well trained and when i asked him out of the syllabus questions he disconnected the call.
                Then i received an email from the same guy mr baljeet sing with same policy which shows that don’t trust us we are robbers and cheat company. One thing came to my notice i sent one email with the subject “complaint regarding stolen iphone while traveling” and they replace stolen iphone with mobile missing.

                Yes, it’s not at all one person’s job there will be multiple people involved and it’s very normal things for them and even they know passenger can’t do anything, because we have support from our higher authority and it’s a truth the way mr. Baljeet was talking with me it was clear. That they don’t want to spoil reputation of the company. If they are earning reputation after doing this then spicejet will fly high forever.

                Moral:
                1. Theft is the gift you get if you travel with spicejet.
                Questions:
                1. When you can’t keep your customers luggage safe, why the hell you provide flight service?


                Spicejet’s policy: we will steal your stuff but won’t take the responsibility and compensate.
                I recommend few people earlier to fly with spicejet no more blunders like this. I am gonna pass this message only : please never ever fly with spicejet. They might steal your belonging.

                Received a fake call letter

                I and my mom are travelling to Dubai from Ahmedabad on 23rd of Nov and I am being charged for my check-in.

                This is supposed to be free and is an additional service provided by the Airlines.

                Please guide me through the same.

                  After that also your spicejet staff didn't given me boarding pass and my ticket is gone west today.

                    Incident happened, while i was travelling from agartala to guwahati by flight no. Sg169, with the said brand new luggage (Suitcase), which was flagged as ' fragile', as it was carrying some sensitive and important official documents. On reaching at guwahati airport, in the conveyor belt, i found my said suitcase in a deformed position in the way with extracted and missing wheel.in no time i contacted with the staff of spicejet, who took me to the office in the lounge. After going through the fact, your staff (Agent id - 116469) filled up one "baggage irregularity report" bearing serial no. 6884 dated 29.10.2017, duly signed by me. The said agent also took a number of photograph of the damaged portion of the luggage, with an assurance that the authority will look after the matter. But, unfortunately till date no communication the side of spicejet has been made to me.
                    The luggage costs me rs. 2000/- (Rupees two thousand) only and it was just newly bought. Without its wheel, the said suitcase has become useless. Hence, it is requested, either it should be repaired as it was or refund me the full purchase value of the same, denial of which will led me to approach to the consumer forum.

On reaching in the guwahati airport, in the conveyor belt i found my baggage which was flagged as ' fragile' de-formed, in the way extracted and missing wheel.in no time i contacted with spicejet staff, who took me to the office. After going through all documents, the said staff (Agent id - 116469), took few photographs of the damaged luggage and filled one baggage irregularity report bearing serial no. 6884 dated 29.10.2017, duly signed by me, with an assurance that the spicejet will look after the matter. But, unfortunately till date no contact from the side of spicejet has been made with me.
                    The luggage was a brand new one costing me rs. 2000/-, which became useless without its wheel.
                    Hence, it is requested to make it repair as it was, immediately or refund me the purchase cost. Denial of which will led me to approach the consumer forum.

                      I am very disappointed with your staff service. At the check in time[protected] goa to hyderbad) i had intimate about liquid glass bottles in my bag. When i received my bag i got with broken bottles. All my clothes and bag got damaged with broken bottle. I got huge lose with this issue. Broken bottle, clothes, bag and my happiness.

                        Please be informed that i have booked a flight ticket from new delhi to patna scheduled to be departure on 05.12.2017 at 16:55 pm. As i have to attend court proceedings on 05.12.2017 in the morning and there after i had a very urgent business meeting during lunch hour, i. E. At 1:00 pm and there after i i was to rush for the airport. But due to your rescheduling of the flight timings whole of my business schedule is being hampered and causing a lot of hardship and accordingly i am unable to use the flight at rescheduled timings i. E. 05.12.2017 at 8:35 am. However the rescheduled timings for my return flight can be workable for me.

                        It is therefore requested you to kindly do not prepone my flight timings or adjust/ provide another flight after 4:30 pm same date i. E. 05.12.2017.

                            Hi, i'm dr anand sagar frequent customer of spicejet. I have been receiving mails from some unknown id calling themselves as spicejet hr and telling me to deposit money. I know it's a fake so i wanted spicejet to take dis as a serious issue bcs these ppl are ruining the name of spicejet. Its my duty to inform as a trusted customer. I have added that fake mail into add photo.

                              Hi.. My refund amount rs. 3597 has not been credited yet and spicejet's customer care executives are telling me that refund has already been proceed and asking me to check with the bank, i have already checked with the bank and also provided the bank statement still they are making the same false claims. The spicejet executive are very very slow in response.

                              I send almost 3 mails per day but they even do not acknowledge my mails.

                              It is very very frustrating as many times i informed them that i am facing a medical condition at my home and any small amount has meaning to me, still no one in spicejet even bothered to ackonwledge my communication.

                                I paid amount rs 11314 for my return flight on[protected] &[protected], through www.goibibo.com my pnr reference number is x8m85m spice jet flight sg823 surat to delhi..& a6hvfp spice jet flight sg474 delhi to surat... I wanted to book this for 14th nov 2017 (Departure) and 15th nov 2017 (Return). However when my uncle went at the surat airport on 14th nov; it showed that vouchers are wrongly booked (Unintentionally) for 14th feb 2018 (Departure) and 15th feb 2018 (Return). By the time the error for realized; it was too late for them to board any flight today; hence they opted to take a train for evening... Now your customer service representative says they can only offer me a refund of around rs 1100 (Total) against rs 11314 (Paid by me). Their travel date is still too far; this for a genuine error and its not fair to charge so huge for a mistake caused. At the end we all are humans and we all make mistakes. Please help me.

                                  I had a flight at 215 pm. For which i had done a web check in. I reached the airport 35 min prior to the departure with one bag which i could carry on as well as it was 6.5 kgs. The moment i entered the airport there was an announcement made tat people travelling to patna hurry up. N i rushed to the spice counter within a few seconds of the announcement. There was a lady by the name of shyamli at the counter and she straight refused to help me there and said the counter is closed. I had my mobile boarding pass n everything. I told her of check in bag is an issue i'll leave my bag out as my husband is still there. But to my surprise there was another employee sitting beside her who told her to allow me but she constantly refused. My husband was in the drop off area and he got a call from spice jet asking if i reached the airport. He said yes she is at the check in counter. They asked him rush me as it was the last 10-15 min.. He called me and told me the same. When i informed shyamli she refused stating tat it isn't possible and she said let me see any other help and kept me waiting till 215.. At 215 she said the only option now is a flight of tomorrow for 8000.

                                  I want to understand how can spicehet employ such employees who have such a big role in making customer miss their flight.. Does spicehet and their employees understand and emergency with which someone might have booked a flight to travel..

                                  This is ridiculous.. To add on when i called make my trip and spicehet, when they attempted to verify the check in time was shown as 2 as opposed to 140. And they said they never called my husband too whereas he has the number and call duratiob in his phone. Many trip harpreet and mehtab were of no help too..

                                  Both make my trip and spicejet showed a lot of arrogance and refused to help me in anyways. Not was an alternate flight arranged and neither was a refund issued.. It looks they run a scam in partnership to rip customers off their money..

                                  Absolutely disappointing..

                                  After boycott indigo i think it is next boycott spicejet..
                                  Fabulous by spice jet to ignore this complaint and not respond at all

                                    Hi i traveled from delhi to kochi on 9th nov.2017. I found in spice cafe catalog on my seat that the details of alcohol available on board with brand name and price. It is also written as a star item. It is available on internationals flight only. I felt offensive to see how children and people who does not want to drink are being exposed to drink alcohol. I request you to remove this page since in the public interest. According to me it is a full page advertisement promoting alcohol when alcohol is not permissible to buy in domestic flights.

                                        I have booked chennai to hyderabad flight on 02 nov 2017 and return on 06 nov 2017 in spicejet flight via YATRA. The total fare was Rs. 2988.
                                        And according to spicejet policy for seat booking seperately Rs.200 each up and down i have paid for seat booking. The total fare including seat was for Rs. 3388. Since it is an official trip i was supposed to claim for refund for the total amount of Rs. 3388.
                                        But to my surprise the ticket invoice i have received for up and down including seat booking was coming as Rs. 2888 chennai to hyderabad - Rs. 1220 and hyderabad to chennai - Rs. 1668 which is Rs. 500 less than the amount i have booked.
                                        without seat booking amount of Rs. 400 the ticket rate is coming to Rs. 1468 + Rs. 1020 = Rs. 2488.
                                        There seems to be a disappearance of Rs. 500 which i suppose must have gone as service charge or booking fees.
                                        When enquired with yatra customer care they are pinpointing spicejet for missing money and spicejet also saying that yatra is responsible.
                                        In spite of spending money, I am unable to figure out where it went and I need a valid receipt for this.

                                        The receipt issued by spicejet is having a shortage of Rs 500 from the money I have spent including seat booking
