We want to bring your attention to the most horrible experience that we just faced with Spicejet. We booked a 4 night-5 day Maldives package with Make My trip that included our return tickets via spice jet and hotel accommodation. Travel dates were : July 2 to July 6 and more details are enclosed with this email.
Since there are no direct flights from Delhi to Maldives, we had a connecting flight from NEW DELHI to KOCHI and then KOCHI to MALDIVES with same PNR number (Q54PFF). On June 30, we received a message from spice jet that they cancelled our return connecting flight from KOCHI to NEW DELHI and either they would refund our amount or give another flight for July 12 which was completely unreasonable for us. We contacted Make My Trip and booked Air India flight return flight from KOCHI to NEW DELHI.
Now came July 1, at 10:30 pm, we received a message that our NEW DELHI to KOCHI spice jet flight is delayed by 2 hours. When we contacted them regarding further flight, they said it's obvious that further connecting flight will have delayed take off too. But since they did not give us any specific information, we asked them for confirmation on twitter after which we received a call from them saying Kochi to Male flight is cancelled. We were stunned. Our hotel bookings were confirmed, lots of money(more than 1.2 lacs), our sanctioned leaves and time were involved and they just cancelled the flight without giving us any option. Besides this, they asked us to enjoy Kochi and committed to give next day flight to Male if POSSIBLE. After half an hour, we received another message that our NEW DELHI to KOCHI flight was cancelled too.
Spice Jet has committed to return our 48K amount but what about our trip, money and time. Above everything, the mental stress that we are suffering due to their highly unprofessional behavior is unpardonable. We understand that flights do get cancelled but it is mostly due to weather conditions. How can they cancel flight due to operational issues not giving consideration to the passengers loss?
We sincerely request you to look into this. Ideally, we must get additional compensation of the continuous mental stress but we are, at present, just aiming for the refund of our paid money. Any help from your team will be greatly appreciated.

Spicejet should be penealised for that. I have the second time bad experience from spicejet and will never use Spicejet service in future.
