I was travelling on 14 july from mumbai to kolkata by spice jet flight sg-487 and my lugguge was lost by airlines as the lady in checking in counter was so involved n busy in takeing rs 200 extra lugguge charge and chit chatting with her collegues for same that she did not even cared that she booked my lugguge to delhi in some other customer name and now it been3 days i have recived no response from them and not my lugguge and i called there call centre and there representive nitin verma after makeing me wait for 15 minutes has only to say they r investigating on same n will respond soon.

I have my vaulable in my lugguge and it been sleepless nights for me and when i asked him to put me to his senior so i can have some response if they able locate my lugguge or not and to that also him answer is sorry cannot put through anyone and i need wait only.

This is horrible experince anyone can have and horrible answer from customer care what for they have put people there???

    I have booked return flight vide pnr r8pcuz. flight got cancelled for ahmedabad to hyderabad on 7th july. ticket booking cost was rs. 1, 912 where as refund received for rs. 1, 420 i. e., less by rs. 502.

    If flight got cancelled by airline there should not any deduction and am eligible for full refund of rs. 1, 912 instead of rs. 1, 410.

    Pls. arrange for the balance payment of rs. 502 and do the needful.

      I am very disappointed to inform you about inappropriate response and behavior of spice jet officials. this incident happened at delhi airport while returning to bangalore form delhi.

      I booked round trip flight from bangalore to delhi.
      Travel date : bangalore to delhi - 2 july 2016 and delhi to bangalore - 10 july 2016

      I reached delhi airport at 2:50 pm. to catch my bangalore flight which had to depart at 4:45 pm on 10 july 2016. i got to know that flight was delayed and scheduled to depart at 5: 40 pm. i waited for an hour there and then i got into spice jet check - in counter queue to get my boarding pass.

      Check-in counter queue was very long and i was waiting for my turn to reach the counter at least before 45 minutes. there was no announcement made by them that person who all are waiting for bangalore flight 5: 40 pm, should come forward in queue to get boarding pass as time was passing by.

      Somehow i could manage to reach counter before 43 mins. spice jet official checked my online ticket confirmation (hard copy) and then my id card. but then he said that there is no ticket left in flight. then i said that i have confirmed ticket. again he said that there is no seat assigned to me. i responded that i have traveled so many times via flight but i never heard that seat should get assigned to get a boarding pass. and i just know and follow this procedure every time that i book a flight and then i reach airport and get boarding pass and board into flight. then he told me that counter is closed as i did not reach before 45 mins. i told him that it is only 2 minutes late and i was waiting here itself in this boarding pass queue and there was no announcement made by them that person who all are waiting for bangalore flight 5: 40 pm, should come forward in queue to get boarding pass as time was passing by. he said that they will arrange next flight or something for me. i told him that flight was already delayed by 50 minutes. i cannot wait more than that since i had to go long even after reaching bangalore airport. why should a passenger delay his/her journey with a confirmed ticket even though flight is running.

      Then he spoke to higher management officials on call and they had some conversation. he asked me to contact the counter 1. spice jet lady official was on call when i reached counter 1. i waited for 5 minutes still. time was running as it was already 5:10. then i spoke to lady official that this is the scenario and i have confirmed ticket. please process my boarding pass.
      She said same that madam, it is not about that seat is not there but counter is closed. i told her that i reached on time. first, other counter person took too much time there and giving different lame reasons not to process my boarding pass there and now she was on call and telling me same. i told her that how counter can be closed since i was waiting here in boarding pass queue and i reached to counter also before 43 mins. no announcement also when passengers were waiting in long queue.

      Then after a long and hectic conversation, she gave me my boarding pass to bangalore flight. it was already 5 :20 pm that time. i was bit tensed as i have to cross another long security queue and i had flight at 5:40.

      Spice jet officials should take care of their behavior and proper and timely announcements should be made if passengers are waiting in long boarding pass queue rather than blaming passengers to reach late to check-in counter. else their image will go down and passengers will restrict themselves to travel by spice jet flights.

        Sir,

        Kindly check the attached photo of the boarding pass.

        This is regarding the PNR S6WTQP in the name of Mr Kunjumuhammed EI. As per the ticket The flight SG 607 was scheduled to depart at 9:05pm from Chennai to Kochi on 20/9/2015. The passenger had checked in for the flight and cleared security procedures and was waiting in the Gate 4 which was informed as the boarding gate at the time of check in and also printed in the boarding pass. Also it was being displayed that the flight was delayed by 20 minutes later it become 40 minutes and then 50 minutes. The passenger approached the boarding gate by 9:45 and come to know that the boarding gate was changed to G14. This made the passenger shocked and he ran to the gate G14 which was in the ground floor while Gate 4 was in the first floor. The Spicejet duty staff in the Gate G14 did not allow the passenger to board the flight. He was very rude and shouting that he had made announcements about the change in the departure gate. Since the passenger had less knowledge in English he was unaware about the sudden change. Instead of checking the passengers who were there near the Gate 4, the Spicejet staff repeated that he had made announcements about the same. So I requested the Spicejet staff to change the ticket to the next flight available for which he neglected the passenger reluctantly. As per spicejet policies, I am eligible for free change or cancellation if the flight is delayed for more than 60 mins for the same which he rejected.

        Since the flight SG 3709 to Hyderabad was delayed by 4hrs, the passengers for that fligh were angry to him and he was resolving their queries and neglected Mr Kunjumuhammed's. He had to suffer many difficulties and had to spend a big amount of money to reach his destination. So I kindly request you to look into this issue at the earliest and give full refund for the ticket and provide compensation for the extra expenses incurred and for the harassments he faced.

          I have booked my flight from Delhi to srinagar which booking I'd is 4488 but now dispute is running here so due to this company should refund but company give no response no why recommendation .I think spice jet is fraud nd not supportive for customer. This time is very much risk for tourist so that why company should give my money back. If company is not giving I will sue him so please don't compel me to take any strict action against the company .so please givw my money back
          I had also booked flights for Srinagar for 19th July from Spicejet (The great fraud company), and they are denying full refund . Spicejet want to take benefit from this situation. Other airline are refunding for flights till july end without any question.

          Spicejet should be penealised for that. I have the second time bad experience from spicejet and will never use Spicejet service in future.

              This is tulsi ahuja. i have booked 4 seats in your flight on 06/07/2016 with a pnr-n1rlrb dated 13/07/2016 from delhi to ahmedabad which was cancelled by your airlines due to some operational reasons. when i was booking the ticket i gave preference to your airlines although the price of other airlines were also the same. due to your late information regarding the cancellation (just a day before) i suffered a loss of rs. 3400 i want the compenstion anyhow because when we cancel any flight your airlines deduct an amount of rs. 2000 now when you cancel you have to give my compensation anyhow... very dissappointed from these airlines.

                Dear sir,

                I was shocked from 20.06.2016 (From the start of family tour), now i am able to write my complain with spice jet airline that why they booked my family international ticket to ignore international law. Brief of our hectic international travel history :

                I booked 5 air tickets with your airline i. E spice jet airline (Pnr sfed5r) for my family holiday tour in bangkok with connecting flight ddn-new delhi-kolkata-bangkok. The family details are given below :

                1. Mr. Anil kukreti : myself 46 years old passport no. H8070932
                2. Mrs shraddha kukreti : my wife 42 years old passport no. J7453888
                3. Master adhyayan kukreti : my son 16 years old passport no. J6672990
                4. Master adhyay kukreti : my son 15 years old passport no. J6672991
                5. Mr. Ajit singh : son of my friend

                At the time we did check-in in all three airports by the spice jet counters, check-in officers checked all five passports and gave us boarding pass.

                We all did check-in in ddn airport on 20.06.2016 at 3:30 p. M (Approx) and after travelling with two connecting flights i. E new delhi and kolkata, we reached bangkok on 21.06.2016 at 4:00 a. M (Approx).

                When we reached bangkok for immigration we were faced a very big problem. The bangkok immigration officers told us that because of international laws, both my minor sons cannot receive arrival-visa. They told us that as per international laws the validity date of a passport must be at least 6 months while the passport of both of my sons were expiring next month only and they sent us back to contact to spice jet airline. We searched for spice jet airline office in airport but due to long process the inquiry counters couldn't help us.

                We again tried to contact to immigration officers but they asked me to depot my both minor sons. When i asked them that how could i leave my minor sons for depot, they took me and my family to the immigration office (Far-away).

                They asked me in thai mixed with little english which i didn't understood, i tried to explain my problem to them in english but they didn't even tried to understand my problem then they put me and my family in their custody for 5 to 6 hours hours and after many requests they called the airline officer and pressured my minor sons to sign some documents which were in thai language. At that time i again tried to explain my problem but they didn't understood my problem. After taking signatures they handed me and my family over to spice jet airline officers who were also thai and knew little bit english. They asked us to return back to india by next spice jet flight which was available on next day i. E 22.06.16. They don't give us our languages.

                Then they pressured me to put my minor sons in cell-room for night. I told them that how can i put my minor sons in cell - room as they were innocent. After many requests, they took us to louis' tavern dayrooms hotel in airport and said us to take room in that hotel and instructed us to don't go outside the hotel. The hotel was too expensive and the rates depended in hours. We all were very shocked and helpless at that time.

                I took a room and paid 13800 baht and felt as we were in custody. I asked them to book next flight as our returning flight but they denied. At that time we were hungry and were awaking from long time and didn't knew how could i return back to my country.

                After many contact and request at night approx 10:30 pm spice jet officers came in hotel and demanded 200 dollar fee each person i. E 800 total to pre-pond my returning air tickets. I didn't had enough money as i paid much money for hotel room. I requested them to help me but they didn't understood me and threatened me to put my family in cell room.

                Then, i took help from my india friend to pre-pond my tickets after a long and hectic exercise and monetary loss.

                When i went for check in from gate to flight, the airline staff didn't gave me my son's passports and said that i would be handed over to me in flight but they didn't even gave passports to me in flgiht and said that it will be handed over to me in kolkata airport. At kolkata, the airline staff didn't gave me passports and handed my family over to immigration office. They were not worried about my connecting spice jet flight which was about to start. After many requests and long exercise, we took our flight to new delhi.

                Sir, in light of above hectic, mental harassment and economical loss, i want to know :

                1. Why spice jet booked my international ticket by ignoring international laws?
                2. Why spice jet officer ignored my sons' passports validity at the time of check-in in all airports specially in kolkata where one officer deeply inquired all details of
                My tour related information?
                3. Who is responsible for ignoring the international laws?
                4. Why did spice jet staff of bangkok demanded me 800 dollars for pre-ponding the air tickets while the airline are responsible to depot us.
                5. Who is responsible for compensate fulfilling my economical loss and metal harassment of entire tour?

                I request spice jet airline to compensate my economical loss and mentally harassment of my family of entire tour.

                  Two month before i was taken flight ticket from cochin - delhi. ticket one no: z4j7sy. i got an information from spicejet on 29 th jun the flight was cancelled due to oprational reasons.
                  My complaint is the flight ticket amout is not credit my account. i contact one - two times at customer care centre spicejet, people says it's taken above 10 days to take credit to your account. normal flight will cancelled cause of company passenger need to take another ticket.

                    I travelled from dubai along with my family (wife and 2 kids) from dubai to pune on 5th july 2016 by flight # sg-52 [pnr #a91z4d].

                    This is to bring your attention that i haven't received my luggage yet and along with me there were 30-40 more passengers who haven't received luggage on arrival.

                    Upon complaining mr. prashant gave us a deaf ear.

                    I have all necessary items including medical reports which i needed for further travel as well as doctors appointment. my complete travel plan was a failure as without luggage was not able to move out of pune.

                    We have no option but to cancel the travel plans. children are really upset with failed vacation trip.

                      I have entered at the airport before 1 hour on 8th July holding a one number of x5q98s.but at the entrance not allowed when I showed the SMS to the security.i went to the spice jet counter and asked for the print.they asked for extra 100 for reprinting the ticket and all this process took 15 minutes.when I went inside they didn't allow me saying check-in closed.
                      When SMS is not allowed inside why are sending SMS???I cannot see anywhere that print out of the ticket is mandatory???
                      Why are you charging additional 100 for just reprint??
                      There will be very urgency that people will opt for flight ..why the hell you are not allowing...will you pay me the money back and my cab charges...who the hell you are asking me to go by next flight by buying another ticket.
                      I hate the service and response of the people and I am not interested to choosing this flight again.

                        Gar rule says airline should hive minimum of 3 hrs before cancellation of any flight.today sg3593, spicejet said intailly 1 hr delay, later 2hra after original departure time they cancelled for technical reason without offering any soulution for the planned journey.airline should have contigency plans like arranging aome other mode of transport like bus, taxie because we trust you.making alternative arrangement as an individual in the last minute is too stressful.

                          Hi,

                          I travelled from dubai to pune on 2nd july with family (6 members). i checked in 4 bag of total weight 56 kg. on pune arrival, i received only 2 and i was told remaining will come tomorrow. next day i was told same story again. i was told to call before coming. i tried 2 hours, staff is disconnecting call so i decided to visit pune airport office again. as soon as i asked the counter, they told me same story that it will come tomorrow. is this the way to treat customers? when i argue with staff he went in and found one bag. i am still worried about missing bag which has my mother's medicines and clothes.

                            Yesterday i travelled dubai to hyderabad (5 july 2016) with spicejet.

                            When i reached to hyd surprise that my checked in baggege offload, no proper response from spicejet ground staff. they said baggege will deliver after 1 or 2 days.

                            Worst service i expired with spicejet.

                              Bangalore to Hyderabad flight : sg1039 by 1 hour 25 mins, there is no prior intimation and staff is rude. No respect even the mistake from the spicejet.
                              Even not providing the proper information and rude behavior from the staff.

                                My daughter madhura and mother in law aged 75 are awaiting for sg524 flight from pune to ahmedabad which is delayed by 3 hrs. No assistance from spice jet airport staff. No announcement for food fro passenger due to daily in incoming flight.
                                I am very sorry to inform that we have three per so s booked on 11.30 p. M spice get flight pune to ahmedabad on 27th oct. Reaching ahmedabad at 00.20 hrs on 28th oct. I am compelled to cancel the three reservations due to such delays and bad service at pune airport by spice jet staff

                                  My daughter travelling from Europe had a connection flight in Delhi - Morning 6.55a.m. she was not able to catch flight because your terminal is T1- Their terminal is T3 no proper shuttle services and when she cleared her immigration reached checking counter it was 6.30 a.m. the boarding closed by 6.29 a.m. Sir, your people were very rude and international flights after the bombblast in istanbul ataruk airport the flights were delayed and they were laid there for more than 22 hrs and they are mere students coming home from Europe to India after 1 year you could have shown some consideration in helping these kids come home. I absolutely hate to say when international flights like ethihad, turkish airlines show consideration and humanity in helping our indian students to board even at the last minute why cant we indian show the same consideration for our own kids. 1 minute doesnot make much difference still there was about 25 minutes to catch that flight if your people were willing to take that small step towards humanity and consideration which would have saved her and me another round of Rs.8000/- for the next flight from Delhi to Chennai. Why i am anxious to give you this details atleast now is another batch students are travelling to India through your airlines cancelled and going through some other airlines because you are absolute no help at all.

                                    I reserved a ticket to fly from chennai to vishakhpatnam on 5th July'16. The flight no 502 is scheduled to depart at 12.45 and was delayed progressively as 1:30, 1:50, 2:05 and 2:10.

                                    I first contacted the Spicejet customer care counter upon reaching the airport at 11:30 to inquire about the updates on the schedule, for which they responded that they've no further updates. The communication source at the airport which displays the security, check-in and boarding status continued to remain as delayed even at 2:10pm.

                                    I went to the spicejet counter at 1:50 to check further updates, they toiled for a while and realised that the boarding is on. By the time, i reach the check-in counter at 2:02, they said the flight is about to depart and they cannot allow us to board the flight.

                                    We're denied to board the only flight service on the day and the response of spice jet - Mr.Suresh and his team is pathetic. First the female representatives said that they just changed shifts and unaware of the status and then they started giving reasons that one should not follow the board but just proceed for security check even if the only mode of communication(i.e. led boards) don't mention proceed for security and whatever they can quote.

                                    We missed the flight, lost money and the worst is the indifference of Spicejet to communicate properly.

                                      Last June 2015, I checked in one television set when I went to India. Upon arriving to my destination, the television set is broken already. I complained that time and staff said that it will be replaced. It's been a year now and I didn't receive anything from their side. I have all the necessary documents.

                                        We want to bring your attention to the most horrible experience that we just faced with Spicejet. We booked a 4 night-5 day Maldives package with Make My trip that included our return tickets via spice jet and hotel accommodation. Travel dates were : July 2 to July 6 and more details are enclosed with this email.

                                        Since there are no direct flights from Delhi to Maldives, we had a connecting flight from NEW DELHI to KOCHI and then KOCHI to MALDIVES with same PNR number (Q54PFF). On June 30, we received a message from spice jet that they cancelled our return connecting flight from KOCHI to NEW DELHI and either they would refund our amount or give another flight for July 12 which was completely unreasonable for us. We contacted Make My Trip and booked Air India flight return flight from KOCHI to NEW DELHI.

                                        Now came July 1, at 10:30 pm, we received a message that our NEW DELHI to KOCHI spice jet flight is delayed by 2 hours. When we contacted them regarding further flight, they said it's obvious that further connecting flight will have delayed take off too. But since they did not give us any specific information, we asked them for confirmation on twitter after which we received a call from them saying Kochi to Male flight is cancelled. We were stunned. Our hotel bookings were confirmed, lots of money(more than 1.2 lacs), our sanctioned leaves and time were involved and they just cancelled the flight without giving us any option. Besides this, they asked us to enjoy Kochi and committed to give next day flight to Male if POSSIBLE. After half an hour, we received another message that our NEW DELHI to KOCHI flight was cancelled too.

                                        Spice Jet has committed to return our 48K amount but what about our trip, money and time. Above everything, the mental stress that we are suffering due to their highly unprofessional behavior is unpardonable. We understand that flights do get cancelled but it is mostly due to weather conditions. How can they cancel flight due to operational issues not giving consideration to the passengers loss?

                                        We sincerely request you to look into this. Ideally, we must get additional compensation of the continuous mental stress but we are, at present, just aiming for the refund of our paid money. Any help from your team will be greatly appreciated.

                                        We are sorry to read about the issue, In reference to your complaint regarding refund for hotel.
                                        We would like to inform you that we tried to get the refund from the hotel, but hotel denied for the refund because as per cancellation rules by the time flight cancellation the hotel was already Non-refundable.

                                        Hence we regret that no refund can be processed for the booking.

                                        This is the most expected reply that I had in mind as it was very convenient. I first want to know more about the flight refund which as per email to me from spicejet dated 4th of July 2016 has been done to Makemytrip for Rs. 48224. I want to know the status of this amount as I have not received it.

                                        Now on the hotel part the cancellation rules are applied on me when i make the cancellation on my part but here the hotel cancellation is due to flight cancellation and as a travel partner its your part to either arrange another booking or provide refund. If this is action is not taken on your part what is is the point of having a travel partner, people should rather book flights on their portals and give a call to hotel for bookings.On my part I tried to call the hotel on 3rd july to request for reschedule but they said they would have done it if I had booked it directly but now i will have to come through the agent only.

                                        I do not deny the truth in your above statement that hotel may have denied refund but why should i get penalized, when it got cancelled for the flight issue and I have a travel partner to take care o the situation.

                                        I hope my message was clear on what was expected from makemytrip & i believe to receive a positive note on it from you.
