Hi team,
I happened to book spice jet (Sg422) from hyderabad to mumbai on 10th july 2016.
Now i happened to receive a voice mail stating that my flight has been cancelled.
I have asked for full cancellation.
I had booked it early so that flight rates were not to much and now at the last moment i am being told to rebook.
Such behavior from spicejet was not expected and would rather have expected them to book on same date for other airlines.
Spicejet happened to be my first priority for all destinations but such attitude would make me rethink about travelling with spicejet again.

    On 5th april 2016, i had booked 3 spicejet tickets from udaipur to mumbai for travel on 11th july 2016 for rs. 3080 each. This flight was to depart at 14:35 hours. On 17th june 2016 (After 10 weeks), i was informed that this entire flight has been cancelled due to spicejet’s scheduling / operational changes.

    When i called customer care, they suggested that the only option was that they could shift me to an earlier flight from udaipur in the morning (Around 10am) which would go to delhi and then i would have to change flight from delhi to mumbai. Should i have opted for this flight, i would have reached mumbai by night, having left udaipur early morning. I was given the same option for the next day as well. I spoke to the escalation manager mr. Gaurav sharma and there was nothing else he could do.

    For me to book another flight at the same time, there was option for indigo of which the fares were rs. 5500 per person. When i wrote about this issue to the nodal officer, appellate authority & other concerned people (Mr. Ajay jarsa, ms. Suman, mr. Kamal), i only got one response from mr. Vikas poonia from the office of the nodal officer that they can only provide me full refund of their ticket and can neither put me on another flight nor compensate.

    I asked for compensation if they put me on next day flight for the one night stay in udaipur for all 3 passengers + the loss of pay / salary / work of all 3 working passengers equivalent to 1 day. Alternatively, i asked them to put us all on alternate flight (Different carrier) on the same date on their expense, since spicejet did not have any direct flights operating on the udaipur-mumbai route. Both these solutions were denied.

    I had to book tickets on indigo myself as they did not assist at all and the fares were going even higher. I incurred rs.2400 roughly on each ticket, which for me was a total loss of rs.7200. To top these expenses, spicejet refunded the amount of their cancelled tickets ‘after cutting convenience fee of rs.200’ on each passenger. So, in total i lost rs. 7800 because of no fault of my own.

    Spicejet charged convenience fees from customers to give them the highest inconvenience possible. Why should customers be liable to pay extra when the flight is making operational changes? Spicejet cannot even as much as accommodate passengers in a hotel for a night because of their cancellation!

      I would like to inform you that flight is delay from Madurai to Dubai today i.e. 25th June 2016. There is no proper information and response to the passenger about the delay. One of the passenger was asking about the delay the respond from the Air hostess was if you can't wait please go out from the flight. Is this the way you guys will treat the passenger. We are not travelling free of cost we are paying all the fares including tax. I am gonna miss a conference meet tomorrow because of flight delay. Please compensate the loss. Flight SG 23 PNR LDDBGX.

          I had booked the ticket With spice jet to travel from Ahmadabad to Dubai on Dated:14/06/2016 with Flight No SG 015. They had issued me the boarding pass but they didn't allow me to board the flight and they had given the reason that you have to 2 hand baggage including 1 laptop bag. They were forcing me to pay for 2 kg extra which is wrong...Due to this reason, they had not allowed me to board the flight... I was ready to let extra weight on airport but they also didn't allowed me and they behave very unprofessionally. It seems that they just want to earn money by hook or cook. I also want to mention name of few employee of Spice jet who behaved very badly (Ms. Kinjal, Mr Badresh, Ms. Nidhi, Mr.Brajesh and many more) Even Airport authority of india manager didn't help us and we have to suffer...

          I just want to say that Spicejet is cheaper flight and their people also very cheap...They harass people for few bugs...I don't refer spicejet to anybody.

              Today (14/06/16) i with my family boarded sg-623 from kolkata to bagdogra. We boarded as spice max customer. The flight was running 10 minutes late. The journey to bagdogra was hassle free except for few turbulences. The flight landed at bagdogra at the right time but at the end of the runway we heard a sound and suddenly the plane was made to a halt. After 7-8 minutes the pilot informed us that a snag has occured with the landing gear.In between air force authorities rushed to the plane and in next 15-20 minutes the ladder was placed for the passengers to get down. The evacuation started and was completed in an hour. The luggage didn't reach the conveyor belt till 4:15 pm (Flight landed at 2:10 pm). The entire crew along with the station manager didn't ask the passenger for any help. The flight comprised of elderly people, ill people and quite a number of infants. The entire ground duty staff was busy with the other flight of spice jet which came from delhi. No one was there to look after the passenger who came by sg-623, the time of getting the luggage and also the announcement regarding luggage availability and the conveyor belt number. Though we had purchased the ticket and upgraded it to spice max but then also we got our luggage in general way. My father was supposed to go to darjeeling today for a meeting but due to the delay he couldn't do so.
              We therefore request spice jet people to refund our money given for spice max facilities, which was not availed by us.

                Booked round trip tickets from Ahmedabad to Pune & Pune to Ahmedabad on 23 june and returning 26 June.Week before got an sms from spice jet that tickets are canceled due to operational issues.Which is not at all acceptable.
                We have planned everything hotel bookings and place to visit everything got booked.
                Now they will refund money which is not all right saying sorry for inconvenience.
                Who will bear charges for all cancellation.Booked tickets through yatra and spice jet people are saying we will refund money to them and you need to follow up with them for your money.
                This is not a way, either going for cancellation they have to make another arrangements for the passengers who are traveling on that date.
                I want spice jet to refund all expenses incurred on y traveling which is near about 20, 000.

                  My family travelled on 6 th june 2016 to Madurai from Dubai. I booked two chicken biryani for my kids. But some kind of sandwich roll served to my kids which they never like. They started from my room at 08:00 am ( Dubai time) and not able to have proper food till reached Madurai airport. I am totally disappointed and need proper explanation from your side.

But they served sandwich roll which my kids never like and they informed that biryan ialready finished. How is it possible? Earlier my ticket booking was without meal but I made re booking for food on May 28, 2016.This is not acceptable.

                    To the concerned. My experience with spicejet has been devastating u r the most irresponsible people running airline services .on june 6th flight sg 3404 vijayawada to chennai was supposed to departure at 5pm . At 4:30 was actually waiting for the boarding call n they announce that flight is delayed by 2 hrs. Nothing but at peak frustations we pass the 2 hrs and try to hear the call for u . But u irresponsile dont even bother to inform that the flight is even more delayed. We had to call the manager n ask him and he says the flight will departure at 8 pm for sure. And at 8 pm u say that the flight is cancelled. How does it work for u.do u think we are fools to wait for 4 hrs unattendend paying 6 200 for a one way ticket. Pathetic india not even an apology from the airline staff or any curtosy of providing water or coffee for the passengers who have been waiting soo long. Wondered how the air india staff apologized fir their 40 mins delay twice n the spice jet didnt even bother to attend their passengers. Actually how do u hire ur staff are they even qualified and trained.we understand that technical difficultues may arise sometimes but they should be atleast trainedto handle such situations . Many people missed their connections n international flights. It really wonders me how u can ask the passengers to wait for 3 hrs and the flight is cancelled . At 8 30 pm how can we find an alternative. This leaves me with the worst airline experince and spice jet is the worst airlines i have ever travelled in.

                      I had flight no sg211 from delhi to srinagar on 04.06.2016 pnr no peg8th, id6b4h, k3jkvy, mfi7jr.

                      The scheduled departure time was 8:40 am. But the flight departed only at 10:45 am.
                      In this 2 hour ordeal what we had to face was:
                      1) standing in the queue for indefinite period with no announcement, no airline staff to tell anything.
                      2) they asked us to board the bus to aircraft. And the bus kept standing and we had to remain in it for more than 35 min and it again dropped us abck at the terminal gates for reboarding.
                      3) again we kept on waiting and remain standing.
                      An enormous amount of harassment, mental agony, loss of peace, extreme discomfort we have suffered today at the hands of spicejet airlines

                      4) finally we had some bookings in kashmir and had to leave onwards from srinagar for that. All those plans have been shatterred now incurring us a loss of rs 20000. All because of spicejet.

                      I want refund of all my 4 tickets in lieu of compensation for the mental harassmanet and financial discomfort which this bloody low cost carrier has brought to me.

                        I travelled from spicejet sg2516 with my family today from amritsar to delhi,
                        The flight has a major defect regarding to ac.
                        No proper ventilation.
                        Temperature was the worst ever.
                        Around half an hour before boarding flight we were told ac would be repaired but the same didn't happened.
                        My cousins including one infant had suffocation problem because of such ac defect.
                        We were told within 15minutes after boarding temperature would be proper, the same didn't happened,
                        Around 40-50 minutes again there was same problem.
                        There was no alternate option available made to us and we were said to board this plane.


                        We reached late by 30minutes.
                        We were served hot water, there was not proper water service on board.

                        My family had the worst experience ever.
                        In my opinion travelling by bus would be more better than travelling by spicejet.
                        I deserve an compensation/refund of the fare for 8 passenegers and 1infant.
                        I know i board the flight but it was the worst conditions ever, and by saying sorry by spicejet staff will not change what we passed on through.
                        I will think 10 times to travel again by spicejet.

                          Pnr no:- j1m6xb flight from gau to ccu time:- 15-10.
                          Due to car break down we reached only 1.5 minutes late [ i. E 14:46:30 ]at your airport boarding pass issue counter but your representatives did not issue any boarding pass. My parents are senior citizen [ 76 yrs & 70 yrs ]. But in spite of repeated request they couldn't get the required boarding pass. They are suffering a lot in this age.
                          My question is, on sympathetic ground really it was not possible to issue boarding pass. For only 1.5 minutes late?
                          This type of behavior only creates distance from customer.
                          You may check the truthness of the above mentioned fact in cc tv footage.

                            My name is Rajeshwari Pillai. I was travelling by spicejet to dubai from Mumbai on 30th may night. My flight was at 1:35pm. I was stuck in the immigration queue hence I could not reach the boarding queue on time. I wanted help from the spicejet staff but there was no spicejet staff available near immigration section. Later when I saw a few staff of spicejet althea, Rashmi who were responsible for getting people on board said to me the flight is gone and that it was My responsibility to rush in the immigration section n board the flight. My name was not announced neither I saw any spicejet staff around. I had the boarding pass and I was waiting for immigration. The spicejet staff Rashmi, althea and supervisor nisha said that there is nothing we can do.. it's your responsibility to clear the immigration fast n come to the boarding section. We will not announce your name. I'm still surprised that despite of having the boarding pass they let the flight go even without checking if there is anyone stuck in immigration. To top it up there was no airline reporting manager available at that time to guide me. I was waiting Like a fool at the airport restless and all that the staff was doing was getting my luggage back to me. If they could remove my luggage before the flight boarded they could have atleast come once near the immigration to check wat is going on with the passenger. Immigration is something which is not in our hands. But despite of reaching before time and missing the flight even after getting the boarding pass and clearing the immigration is shocking... And when I requested the spicejet supervisor nisha to book me on the next flight she said that should I pay for your ticket it's your fault do wat u want to do... I want an action to be taken against the airline and specially the three staff reporting on 30th may at Mumbai international airport althea, nisha and Rashmi for their incompetence of helping a customer and to top it up laughing at the passenger who lost the flight due to their inconvenience. I did not get any concession neither any help from the spicejet staff. I was even told by Rashmi ti go to domestic airport and report the complaint. I went to domestic airport n even at the domestic airport there was no available to report the complaint. I do not understand how is this airline functioning if they do not even have a airline reporting manager on duty. I want my money refunded 400 Uae dirhams...

                              • i booked a ticket from bangalore to kolkata (Pnr : w7jqyp). This ticket was booked for 4 passengers (And an infant). I paid seat and space assurance for all the passengers. I got seats 28c, 28d, 28e, 28f. I have attached ticket here as “initial ticket w7jqyp. Pdf”.
                              • due to name issues i got to cancel one of the passenger’s ticket (Mr natarajan) and book him a new ticket exactly in the same seat. For this i paid the seat and space assurance booking fee separately again. Seat 28d was booked for him again. (Ticket a8k26t. Pdf).
                              • at the same time i got my ticket for the rest of the three passengers (And an infant). This ticket also shows i have seat and space assurance booking for all 3 passengers. I had seats 28c, 28e, 28f. Attached as “final ticket w7jqyp. Pdf”.

                              Today while i was trying to retrieve my details from the spice jet website it shows me i have no booking for 28f. (Attached image below). I still don’t know how the seat booking can be changed without my knowledge (That’s too only the window seat)?

                              I called the helpline for information, which was answered by mr. Karan from gurgaon. He only informed me that the seat is not booked and he can’t say me any detail why it’s not booked after i booked it particularly. The support from him was really a painful experience. For asking for any more escalation he kept on saying me to drop a mail to [protected]@spicejet.com.

                              It is really painful to see after i paid money for all conveniences how badly i am treated.

                                I would like your kind attention towards the matter that i had travelled from new delhi to hyderabad on 20th may, 2016 by spice jet flight number “sg-125” at 06:50 pm from new delhi. The air conditioning system of the flight was not properly working.In this regard, i had intimated to your crew members but they didn’t provide any solution. Due to this, all the passengers including myself were not feeling comfortable and were suffering from suffocation.In a hot summer season with the temperature of around 44 degree celsius, you can imagine with what situation we had travelled. So i want you to please just put your foot in my shoe & feel that embarrassed situation, which i had suffered with.

                                We had also written to customer care support team. But i didn’t receive any positive response.

                                  Today I went to book a ticket and cancel my previous ticket, 1 the guy sitting there was not helping and the girl with him was abusive.
                                  2. Even after bunch of customers explaining they still did not apologies. If this is the case I will recommend every person not to you this airline cos it has people serving to them with abusive. Staff is illiterate they don't understand the meaning of cancellation and rebooking. This incident took place at domestic airport Mumbai. If my complaint is not resolved and I don't get the apologies letter, next person talk would be my lawyer.

                                      Today i am travelling spicejet and it's my least liked airlines due to reasons bellow:

                                      . I whenever i fly i but priority seats and there is no space to keep luggage in row no 1. There is always some equipment in all first raw. This is inconvinent for those who have paid extra 1000 per seat.
                                      2. Priority luggage has never come first historically and had launched a complain but nothing happens.. I am not happy with paying priority seats since it has never been worth it... Please refund.
                                      3. Your eastern european staff is quite rude to us...

                                      Please get back to me for sesolving this issue

                                        This is with reference to sg 16 flight from dubai to ahmedabad. The checked-in baggage of several passengers was left at the dubai airport without giving advance information to the concerned passengers. We poor passengers came to know about this only when we kept waiting at the baggage belt at the amd airport. Spicejet staff came only after around one hour to tell that baggage of some of the passengers is not loaded at the dubai airport. It was informed that baggage will be delivered maximum by evening of 20th may. The ordeal didn't end here. Till today evening on 21st may, after several follow up calls and asked to contact one pillar to other pillar, the logistics company tied up by spice jet is also calling the shots saying that if it is urgent come and collect the luggage from their office as they could not deliver the luggage due to lack of resources. This feedback was also given to mr ashok at spicejet ahmedabad office. This is totally irresponsible behaviour on part of your logistic company as well as spicejet. Now they are saying they will deliver tomorrow by 11 am but it is very unlikely being sunday on 22nd may and difficult to believe such irresponsible persons. Now after pushing us on the wall first by spicejet and now by their courier agency, we have to take lot of trouble to go personally and collect the luggage from courier office. I hope spicejet check what went wrong in this incident and try to prevent reoccurrence so that other passengers do not get repeat of such bitter experience.
