Spice Jet Airlines flight no SG 108 chennai to delhi Total Loss accrued to us : 31378 + 8000 = 39378/- (due to forced buying of other airlines ticket at the last moment ) We had booked Spice Jet tickets Del to Chennai and return during one of the offers released in july 2015 We had a confirmed booking for flight number SG108 on 27th Sep from Chennai to Del at 7:15 p.m. We had started early from our place but got stuck in traffic due an accident but managed to be only 5 mins away from airport at 6:26p.m. We called up spice jet (call log image attached) to request for web check-in or some other mode of holding onto the boarding counter. The call center executive replied that flight is delayed by 20 mins ( new time been 7:35 pm) and we can safely report by 6:50 p.m. and there will be no hassle in getting the boarding pass On this we argued with the person that there is no intimation been send to us for delay in flight neither by call or email whereas all other Air Carriers send a message on flight delays. To this he accepted the system fault and apologized and assured us that it will be taken care as we reach the check in counter before 6:50 pm Upon hearing 6:50 p.m. from the spice jet call center, we got a breather but still asked the cab driver to rush to the Domestic Chennai airport. We reached Spice Jet boarding counter number 05 (pic attached) exactly at 6:35p.m. Which is 40 mins prior to the original flight timings and also 15 mins prior to 6:50p.m. - Timing told to us by the spice jet call center executive. But to our surprise Spice Jet CRO told he has closed the counter and denied us boarding saying we made several announcement at the airport and closed the boarding 5 mins back as all the passengers had reported(which clarifies the over booking in itself ). We kept on arguing and requesting the CRO to let us board the flight as we did not have check-in baggage’s. But For first 15 mins, he did not listen to us and kept moving between counters to kill time, and after requesting him repeatedly, he made a call and said nothing is possible as documentation has been done. We told him about our conversation with spice jet call center, to which he replied that he is not aware why the call center guys gave us wrong information and he cannot do anything. We requested him to let us talk to his seniors and he said he is the senior most person here. However when he was calling someone in his team we overheard him of talking about overbooking to his team member and that’s why he did not let us connect to anyone else. And immediately he tried to push us away saying that there is flight of Indigo at 8:05 pm and we can try there as seats are available there (just a point that no airlines will push his customers to his competitor airlines unless he is at fault ) as he was trying to cover his over booking fault. We immediately ran to indigo counter to check the prices. The prices were exorbitantly high costing us total of 31378/- for 2 tickets. Once again for last time we requested him to accommodate us in spice jet airlines which had still 20 mins left for its departure but refused in spite of that he tried to lure us by saying that he will get us some discounts on indigo and tried wasting our time and finally said not possible. Hence we had no option but to run to indigo counter airlines which was about to close their boarding. We shouted on him last time by saying that you wasted our time and did not cooperate to which he replied very shrudely saying sorry that he cannot help because there are no seats in the spice jet airlines. After this it was very clear that they sold our tickets to someone else on higher premium rates or the flight was already overbooked and hence did not accommodate us. I was shocked to hear this but had no time to discuss as our reaching Delhi by mid night was very critical and I ran on the airport with my luggage to get the indigo air tickets. Upon reaching there the Indigo CRO told us that they have closed the boarding. But just on one single request they re-open the boarding for two o[censored]s and even took our check-in luggage and co operated in the best possible way by arranging for our priority security check and all helping us in all best possible manner like a true professional. So If Indigo cud re-open the counter, Iam very sure Spice-jet could have re-opened too but this was a clear case of overbooking and selling our tickets at a premium. Since we bought the tickets 2 months in advance at just 16000 bucks to and fro. Spice jet made enough profits by selling it again at a premium. This is a clear cut case of cheating and unethical ways adopted to earn huge profits by spice jet. Let this go each and every top official in spice jet and let them compensate us by reimburse our loss to us. Tried to travel for the first time with spice jet and had a very bad experience and will never ever prefer or recommend anyone for spice jet.

    I had booked a flight to and from Delhi to Kathmandu for October in April. Now spicejet says it more operates that flight and has cancelled the ticket. It refused to make any alternate arrangement and neither did it pay any interest for the money it holded for months. Is this careless acyt justified? I would be more than happy if spicejet is penalised for such unjustified deeds.

      I had booked a flight from Chennai to Coimbatore for the 6th Of September. Scheduled to depart at 6 am. Flight was postponed to 7.30 a few days before departure. After checking in to the airport flight kept getting delayed until 10 am! The flight never took o[censored]ntil 9 am had to book another flight at double the cost to get to Coimbatore. No refund updates from Spicejet what so ever. I want to know how to claim the excess fare i paid and missed my important meeting in Ooty that day in the afternoon. The utter mismanagement on their end not only cost me but a number of other passengers.

        I Mahesh Agarwal, i was booking flight from Madurai to Chennai (7.45 a.m to 9 a.m) and Chennai to Kolkata ( 9.55 a.m to 12.20 p.m) on 11th October, 2015 in spicejet flight with 2 PNRs, after booking then i know both flight are connecting flight. So i request to them (Spicejet) due to lack of knowledge mistake happened, because difference between both flight only 55 minutes so please allow me Boarding facility & Internal Transfer Facility but they are not response properly and two time customer care disconnect the connection without satisfactory response. Both Executive Name & Call time given below :- Someswar 5.26 P.M (13.09.2015) from [protected] to [protected], Rupali 5.55 P.M (13.09.2015) from [protected] to [protected] and Mr. Jagdish & Mr. Pravin they are also not co-operate me. i am facing problem last two days from spicejet, they are harrase. So please suggest if same flight connecting and i had already ticket both flight then why they are not co-operate & allow boarding & internal transfer facility. i also sent mail but not response properly they don't want to give any kinds of services I just want to allow Boarding & luggage Internal Transfer facility in same flight, but they are trained to harrase passengers.             SpiceJet on its online booking portal does a bunch of almost unethical things to get extra money from naive customers - * Spice Assurance and TATA AIG insurance automatically added to each passenger booking. Thus you have to unselect for each passenger and thus creates ways to get money for customers you are not as careful * You have to select an option to not get emails from Spice jet (ie you are automatically added to their mailing list). I think customers should have the option to be add themselves to the list rather than have them be added by default. This is again sneaking up customer consent without really asking them * Prices for seat allotment - it is not mentioned clearly that this is an optional step. "skip to continue" is in very small font * At the end before payment, you dont have an easy way to unselect the add-ons that might have gotten added by default because of the design of the booking form. Thus, consumer has to go through the entire booking process once again to unselect the extra charges for extra services added by default. I would strong urge SpiceJet and other airlines to stop these "by default consent" options on their websites. As website configurations keep changing, it is very difficult for consumers to detect these micro frauds and "forced assumption of consent" for extra charges or extra spam. This is highly unethical. Spice Jet management - I understand there are revenue pressures, please stop being cheats.

              I booked a flight ticket from guwahati to Kolkata on[protected] for September 5, 2015 by spice jet pnr TYEQ4 Q through my debit card [protected].

              The same ticket has been debited to my account 3 times.

              One payment has been refunded.

              One more refund has to be made.

              The problem may be due to erratic internet connection.

              Kindly retain only one payment, and refund one as requested.

                This is regarding the very poor servide and unethical practice demonstrated by Spicejet airlines. I booked a ticket for my parents to travel from Chennai to Delhi on 5th Sept'15. I paid Rs.500 and sought SpiceJet assistance service. Since my parents are old and also new to flight travel, I opted for this with the expectation that someone will assist them from the time they get the boarding pass till they collect their baggages in Delhi. Thats what I was told when I spoke to customer support team few days back. However there was no support provided by Spicejet. I spoke to them in the airport many times to help my parents get necessary support. I realized that spicejet team have asked some other passenger to help my parents and I could see them following the passenger. I spoke to my parents few times from outside and they said there is no one from spicejet assisting them. My repeated requests at the airport fell in deaf ear. The support staff (Subhash) was very rude and infact he was talking in a rude way to few other customers as well. Not sure whether he has been deployed only for that only. He infact asked me to accompany the passenget till they board the flight. I felt this comment was very sarcastic and inspite of taking care of the elderly people and he defended his action and didnt bother to respond to my questions directly. This is totally unacceptable and Spicejet should take full responsibility for this unethical act, apologize to me. I dont need the refund and but I would like to ensure they accept their mistake, dont take customer for a ride and sensitise their staff to behave properly with customers.

                  Today I was booking my tickets from Srinagar to Delhi for 4th Oct, 2015. Spicejet deducted money from my online account & haven't issued any tickets to me. Moreover there customer care executives mentioned that we can't help it & you need to wait for 15 days for refund. Attached ticket which shows this is not a special condition ticket i recived post my booking - ever since then we have been harassed by Spicejet authorities and customer care . We have written to that airline as well but no help other than falsifying information .i would want an explanation from Spicejet and provide a resolution to this at the earliest

                      Booked E ticket booking ID No NF[protected] from Hyderabad to Ahmadabad. we booked three tickets through make my trip on 11th July 2015 @ 4:51pm there is nothing mentioned on the ticket that only 7kgs luggage allowed & at time of taking boarding they asked us to pay Rs.750/- each o[censored]s. CHAKRABORTY I would like to know : 1/ How could your staff desert my mother in wheelchair and advised her to climb the stairs herself ? 2/ Despite mentioning 10 times, how come there was no FRAGILE TAG in the bag ? My bag contained a Vase that was destroyed due to your carelessness and other stuff were severely damaged. Who is responsible for this carelessness ? Day by day your services are deteriorating beyond any conceivable standards. I am thoroughly ashamed to have taken a SPICE JET Flight. While travelling to Delhi and Srinagar during the same trip, I had used GO Air and Indigo and there has been no chance of complaints. Your airline was horrible

                          I keep a spare cell phone in my bag. Everytime I travel, i carry it in my check in baggage. It is missing from my bag. With no other airlines I travel, it has ever been stolen. I have regsitered an FIR and will make sure the employee responsible is found and also spicejet for not monitoring the employees.

                              I booked 5 tickets (to and fro) from kochi to goa on 26.10.2014 . The journey dates are on 26.08.2015 and 28.08.2015. They changed the flight 4 times or so. Each time i called the customer care and talked for 30 minutes or more to change the flights. But each time there was another option available for them. Now that the date of travel has arrived, they have sent another message that the flights from kochi to goa is misconnecting. I called them and they now say that there is no other alternative other than to expand the journey between a night. ie, i have to board one flight (connecting flight) on a day and then continue with another flight to goa on the next day.

                                It have been one of my worse experience in 2 months of travel. . The last 11 of July I decided to buy two flights with spicejet: 1. From Bangkok to Delhi (5504, 10 baths 10000 INR approximately) 2. From Mumbai to Bangkok (11015 INR) Some days ago I asked about the airport from Bangkok to Delhi and the airports from Mumbai to Bangkok. I received a confused email but I could understand my airport of departure in Bangkok. After that I just received an email about put some add on the flight, anything else. When I did my check in at Bangkok airport, I asked about the time with my connection because I had just two hours to do that, even immigration. The first think was that the person who was in the counter didn't have idea about my visa and couldn't give me any instruction, another girl arrived and she said that it was ok, that she could call to someone to be attending my arrival. Actually they changed my sit to one in front (6C) for doing easy my connection. When I arrived to Kolkata, the first thing was that in Bangkok anybody gave us an immigration form, so almost 15 people couldn't going out from the arrival section. In this moment I just had one hour for doing my connection and I asked to a girl who helped me with the immigration form and sent me to the counter in Kolkata. When I arrived to the spicejet counter, it was the first time who someone mentioned that my flight was canceled, and I already paid a tour around north of India which started at 1:00 pm, so I couldn't arrive to Delhi at night because I paid for this. In this moment I asked a solution an two of their employees said to me that the only thing that they could do was return my money for buying a new ticket with the company that they recommended there, but I had to pay the difference. I asked how much difference it was and they said to me that approximately 36 dollars because they will refound almost 6000. In that moment I accepted and in that moment another employee of you started to do something in the computer (I attached his picture) but the other who spoke with me before, in their language said to him something and said to me that I had to pay first the new ticket for continuing with the process, I asked why? they could do everything at the same time and they said that I was a request of the company, that is why I paid the ticket to Go Airlines which cost was 7850 INR. As soon I paid the ticket the people from spicejet container said to me that they couldn't refund my money, maybe just 2000 INR. In that moment I started to complain about why they did that, they did me pay and the lied. It was so bad, they made me feel like I have been cheated. I believed in you and your stuff but they just was playing with me, my first time in India and they showed me a really bad face. Finally a new person arrived and he tried to do something and finally he said they will refund me just 4, 967, but anybody gave me any formal document or something serious and the difference is almost 50 dollars. After this horrible situation I met some people at the airport who had the same flight and they told me that they received more money. I have been traveling around two months with low cost airlines and this is the first time that something like this happened, I can't understand how this company have people like them working with them, I trusted because I though that I was safe there but obviously no, and the way how they are working is embarrassing, sad and unacceptable. I'm a customer and they just playing with me. Also different Indian people said to me that theyalways do the same, that they are the worse airline in this country. If they won't to do a good job is better don't do anything, because companies and stuff as them is that the country just stopped the touristic development, and that is bad for this beautiful country. Now I'm really worried about my next flight because unfortunately is with them as well, and now I can't trust in them. Also I didn't receive nothing from them.

                                  I had booked a return flight from (Delhi-Kolkata) and (Kolkata-Delhi) with SpiceJet on a special offer ticket. Both the flights have been delayed. Delhi Kolkata flight by more than an hour and the Delhi bound flight which was supposed to take off at 9 AM in the morning will now be flying at 5 PM in the evening!! Are these guys seriously running an airlines business or something else because we choose airline over train to save our time and they screwed the time part badly here!! And I think this is not the first time such things I am facing with spicejet. Why do they come out with such 'cheap' offers when they cannot manage it? Why play such dirty tricks as we cannot change the flight because the ticket is non refundable? And even if they have to change the time then at-least give us the option to change our flights by 'charging' us whatever the required amount is..why can't they at-least do this much for those from whom they robbed their precious time!! Why?

                                    I had a booked a ticket from Kozhikode to Hyderabad via Chennai for 30th July.
                                    After repeated rescheduling of chennai to hyderabad flight i decided to cancel the Chennai - Hyderabad sector journey only. I called up customer care and requested to cancel only Chennai Hyderabad ticket executive has confirmed and
                                    however the customer care executive has cancelled the Kozhikode to Hyderabad, today 29th July when i logged in for web checkin i dont see travel details from kozhikode to chennai, immideatly called up spice jet customer care executive badal said the complete return journey from Kozhikode to hyderabad has been cancelled, until then i was under assumption that i have my flight for 30th July from Kozhikode to chennai as per the initial itinerary.Executive has raised a request to check call recordings and asked to call back after 2 hours.

                                      Hi, My PNR is- C9B16Q, Kindly process our refund amount asap in the same account we have made payment to book our tickets. This is truly unprofessional, the way your customer representatives (Poonam & Anu) talk to me and provide wrong information, i have called up 3 times to customer care and the info have been provide to me 3 times were absolutely incorrect. 1. We have booked our tickets on 16th July from Delhi to Mumbai 25th Dec- 2 nd Jan '16, - ECT63U after booking there was some error have been shown to us and we have not recd. any further e-mail or message from spice jet, but amount 14, 738 has been deducted from our account. we thought may be there was some error but may be our money will get transferred in 24 hrs just because our booking has not been done. then we have tried to book again but there was some sever problem so we thought may be the Rs. 1 offer not valid or creating problem at new year time, so we have Re- booked our tickets from Delhi to Mumbai 19th Dec- 27th Dec' 16- C9B16Q, and our tickets have been booked this time. 2. When we have not received our payment till 21st July we have called up customer care, then what we got to know that our booking is confirmed for both the time schedule, 25th Dec and 19th Dec. and our tickets is not refundable only taxes will be get paid to us, rubbish...this is such a fraud ... you are just cheating people, deducting their money and not giving any proof for further use and when people are calling you to confirm such kind of activities you guys are not taking our calls, your customer care representatives keep busy. I want reply on that why we have not recd. any email or message on our booking and how we can travel at same time to Mumbai, who will be responsible for it, if we will not recd refund from C9B16Q tickets then we will have to take legal action on it and will publish it on everywhere where ever we can publish it online.very pathetic experience first and last time and very poor services must say... Kindly reply asap and refund our money asap.

                                        I am hasan I reach Dubai air port terminal1 9.45am they said counter closed already you go and check with spicejet office. after I go there office nobody was there.after I call burdubai office they told me to wait in the office outside I inform somebody to meet u like that I am waiting 10. 20am he come and told me he cant help and he cant change the ticket also I spent already 1150dhs. I said try to help me in this case .they said not possible I told him to change ticket next day and give me some discount they said not possible. again I book ticket 1680dhs. I loss 2830dhs only one way you think we are going one month vacation after 2yrs if you are doing how we will enjoy with our family .please help me to claim some amount and send it to me it is really helpful for me to enjoy with my family. please do the needful.
