Hi, I travelled on flight SG - 1068 from Cochin to Hyderabad on Spicejet at 08.40 pm. When I reached here at 10.30 pm I was not able to find a baggage out of the 2 I gave. Its being 3 days since I have logged on a complaint - there is no resolution till now. I have medicines and some money in my bag. I urgently need an resolution for this. Thanks, Reshma.

      Spice jet is providing wrong information regarding the refund of amount Rs.14, 094 against the cancellation of my flight(PNR-Y35QHL) has yet not been received in my spouse Citi bank account through which the transaction has been done. I have sent across an email to them but there is no response from their till date. This is very disappointing to see that such a big airlines is not refunding back the amount and circulating wrong information that the amount has been credited. I have also shared the bank statement copy through which the transaction has been made on their asking, however, still there is no response from spicejet's end.

      A while ago, somebody just called me pretending to be somebody from Spicejet's team confirming about the complaint posted on Consumer complaint.
      He asked me about the issue to verify the case. Then, he told me that he is going to transfer the call to some other team and asked me to be online. But, he disconnected the call in between and did not call me again. I tried to reach his contact no. but it is not reachable.

        We initially booked tickets on spice jet airways from Delhi to Srinagar for travel date on 12/7/2015 for 6 Pax. We planned the booking well in advance as we were about to visit amarnath shrine. I got an sms from spice jet that the flight has been preponed or cancelled for no reason. So, I called spice jet and rescheduled the another flight with chandigar as one stop from Delhi to srinagar. We adjusted and digested this problem. Again I got an sms from spice jet for another rescheduled ( preponed time ) which is totally inconvenient to us, as we are travelling from chennai to delhi to catch the flight no. SY8IFD and practically its not possible to do so if the flight is preponed. So, When contacted spice jet again, they gave a superb reply that " sir haven't you read the terms and conditions? Spice Jet has the rights to reschedule it's flight timings sir" These people are playing with the rules. Now, I have cancelled that flight with spice jet and booked on goIndigo flight paying Rs. 7, 500/- extra per person x 6 persons. Now, spice jet is selling the same ticket which I cancelled for Rs. 8, 500/- odd... being Rs. 5, 000/- excess of my original ticket fare. This shows that they reschedule the flight so that they want the old passengers who booked flight in lower rates will cancell their tickets and spice jet can sell the same at higher present market price now. THESE PEOPLE EXPLOITING US. I don't know if this complaint will have any importance or would be one among the 1000 other complaints, atleast I feel i have done my part. Rest is left to destiny.

          Spicejet has not refunded the money. I had made a booking on 19th may from pune to Cochin, however no ticket got issued. Had raised the complaint and spicejet had asked to share the bank transaction no. The same was shared on 19 the May. Further repeated follow up was made. On June 23, they had asked to share the credit card no. After much reluctance, I had shared even though rbi does not permit. However till now no credit has been given.

              I had my spice jet flight booked on 17th december 2014 from goa to pune pnr as u8ziqz for flight sg3018. But just 1hr before the reporting time it was cancelled from your end. I had paid rs2403 / - for the booking. When checked at the airport counter was informed will get an online refund done. But till date it has not been done. None of service given from helplines also. When they knew the flight was cancelled from their end then will not that you know which all passengers are to be refunded.
              Want my refund of rs2403 / - immediately. Why i have to suffer for no service.

                Dear Sir/Ma'am,
                i booked my ticket through your website spicejet.com, on 11th may 2015, but the booking status was kept On Hold.
                Rs. 4499 was deducted from my credit card. After that my ticket was cancelled automatically and i have not received my refund yet. i have called your customer call center repeatedly but there was no help. i request you to refund my money as soon as possible as it has been more than a month and has caused me enough trouble mentally and physically.

                  We booked a ticket from Kolkatta to Bangalore and the same was cancelled and when we contacted the customer care we were told the amount has been refunded on 13th May and the amount is Rs.2993/-, but till date we have not receieved any amount. The PNR NO is FYTUFN Please let us know the status of the same.

                    I wish to get clarified on my cancellation against the booking E-Ticket Number of ticket. Airline PNR - HF7EHB, Passenger name : Hemalatha Veeraraghavan booked through Make MyTrip booked on 3rd. June for 20th. June travel @ 2097. I cancelled the ticket and got back Rs.147 and got deducted on various head of Rs.1950. Strangely base fair of this ticket which I booked was Rs.1480 and the cancellation charge is Rs.1500. Clarity required, 1. How can the cancellation price be higher than the base price. 2. What is the difference between refundable and Non-refundable ticket. 3. If I would have booked lesser than 1800 how you would have recovered 1950. 4. Is the cancellation fee & convenience fee decided based on the booking price. 5. Why am I deducted for User development fee of 187 when I didn't travel. At the end of it I feel cheated with various terms spread over your ticket and I would like t get a proper response with which I can decide my future course on this issue. My contact no.                       I alongwith my five family members were travelling from Goa to Delhi with three members having PNR NO.SCZFJN and two members with PNR NO..P7YHMM and one member with PNR NO.O8GFTJ.Two members are minors.I requested the employee at boarding counter to give all the seats together but he flatly refused in arrogant and indifferent manner that no seats at same place are available as PNR NOS are different.As a result all o[censored]s were alloted at three different places which resulted into total inconvenience more particularly with minor children sitting alone.In the flight SG 174 on 19.6.2015, it was noticed that seats 27 ABCDEF were vacant. The behaviour of the employee is totally uncalled for. There may be other customers facing the same issue.

                        Money debited but no ticket issued

                        Dear Sir/Mam, I have booked ticket from Mumbai to Chennai for morning flight. And Chennai to Mumbai for evening flight. My Both flight has been cancelled. I have called costumer care and checked from next flight availability. But the flight timing was very inconvenient. I am very dis satisfied that the Spice jet service provided. We people are booking tickets before 6 months but the same schedules are not reliable. I am not able to come to Mumbai and Not able to come to Chennai from my origin place. And the connecting train timings also very incontinent for new schedule.I would be wait on railway station for more than 12 hours.                             I booked a roundtrip flight for my brother with Spicejet through Makemytip - onward journey date was 29-Dec-2014, return journey date - 08-Jan-2014. The onward flight SG 894 (which was a morning flight - 10:45 AM) was cancelled and my brother was rebooked by Spicejet on flight SG 832 which had a departure time of 5:20 PM. The onward flight SG 893 was 'cancelled due to operational reasons' and no alternative booking was provided by Spicejet. Since he had a conference to attend in the evening on 29 Dec, the rebooking provided by Spicejet on SG 832 was useless to us. Also, the return flight had already been cancelled by Spicejet. So, I cancelled the entire Spicejet trip through MMT on 28-Dec-2014 and applied for a refund. The Spicejet flight fare was Rs. 11465 and including the MMT convenience fee, I had incurred a cost of Rs. 11755. Since applying for the refund, I have received Rs. 4430 on 18-Feb-2015 and Rs. 715 on 23-Apr-2015 only. Since it was Spicejet who had delayed/ cancelled both the flights, they had promised to refund the passengers in full. However, I am still waiting for the balance to be refunded and it has been 6 months now. How soon can I expect a full refund? Thanks, Suchetana Das [protected]

                              To SpiceJet Ltd., 319, Udyog Vihar, Phase IV, Gurgaon - 122016 Haryana, India Dear Sir/Mam, Sub: Complaint regarding sudden breakdown due to technical ground, sudden stalling of flight and Terrible service leaving passengers stranded, stressed and without alternative I, Tirthankar Das, am a lawyer by profession. I am highly agitated, annoyed and aggrieved by callousness and unprofessional attitude on part of Spice Jet. On last Saturday 13.06.2015, I booked a flight SG 252. I paid extra Rs 1000/- for booking Seat 1A as your flights are usually cramped up. The flight was originally scheduled at 5.40 pm from Kolkata to New Delhi. Instead we started at 8.25 pm. This plane was coming from Bagdogra. I want to lodge a strong complaint based on the fact that the flight got delayed by three hours with no proper information to travelers, terrible guidance and terrible service from Spice Jet’s employees. First the flight gets delayed by 45 minutes for some unknown reason and we customers got notified at the very fag end. Then after baggage check in and security check in AT THE TIME OF ENTERING THE AEROPLANE ITSELF that the tired, eager, anxious unsuspecting customers get the shock of their life on the breaking news that the flight had been indefinitely delayed. We got notified that there were some problems with the plane, some serious technical problems. We could clearly see that the crew were talking amongst themselves about some smell and some wrong readings. They called the technical team to detect the problem. They scrutinized some stuff, while we waited for around 30 minutes in the aerobridge itself, and came to the conclusion that there had been some serious problem with the flight and flight has been indefinitely delayed. Spice Jet people started running helter-skelter. There was absolute mess. We, the customers were LEFT STRANDED. We were not notified at that time about the impending problem. Then there were more chaos amongst the passengers while standing in the non AC aerobridge. At that point of time, a nice Bengali gentleman came from Spice Jet and talked with us. Neither was he a senior officer nor a technical person. He had no clue. Then we requested, nay, implored him to help us. He then informed us that the flight has been indefinitely delayed as they will try to fix it, that we have to go back to the departure section once again and wait for further information and guided us to the departure section. In the departure section after much chaos, bad behavior of certain persons at the baggage check in counter, we were notified that they are trying to fix up the problem though they were unsure about the final status. Then they told us problem might be fixed but it would take some time. It is a massive shock and sad fact that a nice passenger detected a burning smell and reported to to a crew member of SG 252 Spice jet. Apparently something had/was burning which created further technical problems. This nice person and we went to the Airport Manager to request as well as lodge complaint to help the passengers traveling by the Delhi bound SG 252 Spice Jet. The technical problem should have been detected by the technical crew and the normal crew on board as and well during the flight was grounded and usually checked for problems and cleaning up. My Complaints are – 1. Sudden breakdown of flight on technical reasons which comes within the purview of your technical know how, legal and moral obligation. It is YOUR DUTY to check and solve technical problems before the flight takes off from the Ground. 2. The problem was technical not Act of God. There was no person to check it, detect and explain to us. 3. There were serious technical problem with the plane. Non adherence to strict rules and regulations of proper checking of inside the plane well as well as technical equipments CHECKING WHETHER THE FLIGHT IS AIRWORTHY AND READY FOR TRAVEL It directly put the lives of all the passengers into jeopardy. What if the flight had taken off. THIS AMOUNTS TO SERIOUS BREACH OF TRUST 4. Chaos within aerobridge. Noone was there to give us proper information, hope and guide us about process and procedures. Spice Jet was seriously understaffed unprofessional and UNDER PREPARED. This is serious breach of trust. 5. Chaos within Airport. There was no crew to explain us the process and procedure of to repeat check in OR GIVE ALTERNATIVE BOOKING OF FLIGHT AS WELL AS EMERGENCY ACCOMMODATION. 6. There were no alternatives for females onboard. 7. Misinformation or Negligence and lack of duty of care to inform customer before or during the problem. 8. As passengers we are customers and consumers we are entitled to certain rights which have been seriously breached here. 9. BREACH OF DUTY OF CARE 10. BREACH OF TRUST There are clear Guidelines And Statutory provisions under the DGCA, the Consumer Protection Act and the Contract Act safeguarding the consumers and even under IPC where passengers as consumers and human beings are protected so that Institutions like you cannot cheat us and abuse us. We had put our faith, trust, life and money into your hands for safe, proper and timely arrival at the destination. This was completely breached. Spice Jets actions needs to be highly reprimanded. There could have been serious repercussions for your costly mistake. This is unprofessional unjust, unfair, and ridiculous treatment of your customers. This is stressful and strainful and did amount to contractual and emotional breach of trust. DGCA should not have reallowed your license because you are so incompetent, unprofessional, under prepared, irresponsible and callous. We suffered mental trauma. I am deeply disturbed and anguished at these type of actions on your part as a customer and as lawyer. I expect better and higher standards from Spice jet. If you cannot raise the standards, at least try to maintain them. Congratulations, we you have been the worst career on air even beating now defunct Deccan Airlines. We suffered mental trauma. I had a meeting at 9 pm on Saturday which got canceled and got postponed to Sunday morning. Have suffered massively. Actually we all have suffered massively due to Spice Jet. This was a mentally devastating experience for all of the passengers which would leave us traumatized for rest of our lives and a serious bad repute to Spice Jet. I want the proper authorities to take notice of this serious issue, address it and address my grievances. Otherwise, I would be compelled to take serious legal steps against Spice Jet.                                 Flight ticket booked, a month before through SPICEJET, for travel from Hyderabad to Chennai on 19th June, 2015 was suddenly cancelled by the airlines authorities; when, only 3 days are left, behind. It was informed, that they would return the fare charged within 7 days. While moving for other flights, they do charge 3 times over the booked rate; but through other airlines. If they are unable to operate, they could not have started for booking on the specific time and date. Thereby, the passengers like me to choose some other airline, for better rate. There is no morality by the SPICEJET authorities, who did not think of the passenger, who are supposed to pay higher amount of charges, if they book at neck of the time. Atleast they could have made arrangement for booking of ticket with some other airlines on the specific date and time under internal-MOU with them. Or, they should come forward to pay the difference amount. Nothing done by them. Government regulations are also not in favour of general public; here, passenger, as a whole. Whether it is Congress or so called, BJP. O Lord Krishna ! When, the fate of the poor general public's fate would be changed according to dharma? May I see in my lifetime? Please answer Lord Krishna...

                                  Hello Journey 1 SG - 345 from Pune to Bangalore date : 25th Dec 2014 Passengers : Rahul Kulkarni and Snehal Deshpande. PNR: Z733VP flight got cancelled and SpiceJet confirmed full refund.                                     Spicejet services gone worst, it should be stopped immediately. Government should take immediate action to this airline. It has no job except harassing passengers, comparatively low fare attracts passenger, but it is a total trap. I strongly condemn it .

                                      I had been charged Rs 1000 extra for Spice Flexi seat with certain extra benefits . My luggage was delayed and complain registered as attached . Mr Anandi Krishna Maity was the officer then . I was inconvenienced by the whole things and would like FULL REFUND of my tickets money PAID .
