I have been using Spicejet for the last few years and it was smooth in all those journeys.
What happened to Spicejet that I don't know and they had gone wrong with them this time and for my booking for November, 2021, they cancelled the flight, but didn't send me any emails/messages neither called me. When I went to check my itinerary to take print-outs for the next week journey, I realised that it got cancelled due to the flight cancellation on certain days. Most importantly, they had returned the fund only after my follow-up calls on this matter, which is a totally irresponsible behaviour.
What a professional airline is expected to take care of this situation? Spicejet needs to learn this from other players in the market and most importantly, they need to give respect to their users' emotions as people are flying after a tiring long waiting time after many COVID waves.
I would think twice or more times before booking for a flight with Spicejet going forward.
Such a unprofessional behaviour from Spicejet..
