Hi i have a standard chartered bank credit card (Manhattan), every year they charge and they ensure that u call them ask for a waiver and they manage such that the immediate customer care executive hands over the call to superior and he waives the charges.
Same thing happened recently, they told it will waived off, initially they could not waive off, then i told them if they dont waive off i will return the card to them and they need disable the card, so they did not want me to return the card rather waived off the amount,
But again i get a messages saying i need to pay rs 383 immediately

If i call the customer care they block the call or they say its busy
Or they divert to ivr saying reversal of charges and call goes blank
Its happening for past one month.

Can any body please look into the issue and try to resolve this

    I have salary account with Standard Charterd bank with home branch sector 18 Noida brahmdutt tower. I received an email to submit my KYC documents on 17th Nov 2017 from Mohd Shahanawaz with the last date as 21st Nov 2017 which was later extended to 30th Nov. I spoke in the Customer care on & submitted my KYC documents through an email on 20th Nov 2017. They did not check my email and despite of my submission my account got suspended completely where I am not been able to withdraw, transfer my money. I have been following up since then and visited bank as well but to no use. Every time I get a response that the account will be reactivated within 2 days which did not happen for past 1 week. I am out of cash now with dues n EMI to pay and still got stuck with Standard Chartered to get my account reactivated.

    Would really need help to get my account reactivated.

    No one has contacted me neither the account has been reactivated again. Such a poor customer service. The worst bank I've ever came across.

      I was a credit card customer to scb and before 2009. I had used my card and later got the outstanding amount re-structured (Not settlement) and cleared even last penny and got no due certificate from them.

      Now, when i checked my cibil score it shows i have negative score because of the scb a/c for which i have received no due certificate.

      After receiving noc from scb, i did not take any of their product nor applied for any kind of scb bank accounts.

      Kindly suggest me as what should i do to have the clear cibil score

        Hi,
        My name is akash shrivastava.
        Since last few day's i am suffering from an isseu with my last imps transtaction.

        Actually i made a traction of rs.5000 in my another dena bank account but till now payee i did't get any transaction.

        I've also received mail and message of successful transaction from standard charted bank.
        I am also trying to get in touch with helpline number but did't get any responsible answer, and also did't get any answer from customer. [protected]@sc.com.

        Can you please help me to find out issue.

        I've also raised complaint against this problem and her representative told me to it will take 8 days to resolve this complaint but after 1month i did't get any responsible answer from your bank.

          The standard chartered bank have unlawfully charges me for the interest for i am not liable i have paid the amount whats ever applicable to me but last since four months they have asking for the money which they have charged me unlawfully and against the banking policies. The bank again give another account number for which they are charging me the amount more rs. 5000/- for which i am not liable. When my account and payment is around nil suddenly they charged the payments fgor which i am not liable. They charged me unlawfully and demanding the payments for which i am not liable.
          My request to the bank to reverse the charges for which i am not liable or i will through the consumer court show the unlawfully payments demands from the bank and disturbing me mentally.
          Hope bank standard chartered will resolve this issue and will like to discontinue with such bank whos ethics is base on unlawfull act and cheat to the consumers

              Hi myself mahesh s from bangalore was a holder of credit card number [protected] and as per my knowledge all my dues were paid and the card was closed, now to my surprise i got a call from one of the collection agent and asked me to pay rs. 14000/-, first of all i would like to mention that i dint get a statement regularly and on the call centre there is hardly any response, now i have applied for a 2 wheeler load and that got rejected due to this issue which is affecting this score, how is responsible for this, i want this to be addressed immediately and solved, i am reachable on [protected]

                I have taken personal loan from standard chartered bank earlier. After completing 1 year again they given topup loan. Earlier it was an ecs deduction from my account. Topup loan they have not done the ecs. The topup loan was started on march 2017. The bank people called and asked me that your ecs not happened so please pay manually. I paid first month manually. So second month also they called and asked pay manually, i paid. Like that every month i am paying manually. I thought the problem with standard chartered bank because first loan automatically they had taken care with ecs. I thought topup also they will take care. But recently i created logins with online and check the statement and i was shocked after seeing the charges. Every month 2 time bounce charges are there. Actually ecs not happened why bounce charges. Every month two times bounce charges are there and late payment charges. Now there is no ecs so how they put bounce charges. Bounce means if ecs is there and no amount in the bank, then bounce charges should be there and only monthly once. I asked the customer care there is not proper reply and i visited koramangala branch office there is not proper reply. If ecs is not happened and they have to call me and inform the rules and charges. But nobody called from bank side simply they made charges in my account. There is customer care they have to inform if any issues or any charges. But i did not get any call from sc bank. The bank want to cheat customers so they have not informed the issues and charges and silently kept in the account statement. How i solve the issue.

                  On 7th november 2017 early morning that is 6th past midnight 5 fraudulent transactions took place in my standard chart credit card and without my due approval through otp process. I block the card instantly;however standard chart explained that these transactions took place from unsecured web sites and no prior approval is needed. I am shocked by this explanation and now it is open that standard chart credit/debit cards are not secured one since any body could frudulantly transact from unsecured but standard chart approved merchants websites by fraudulent means.

                  I raised a dispute and on the process to claim the amount. We should warn all standard chart customers not to fully trust their credit/debit card.

                  Similar incident happened for me on 8th Nov Mightnight, 9 transcations happend,
                  i also blocked my standerd charted credit card on 9th Nov 2017.
                  When i checked with Customer care they informed that these transaction were done with Itunes

                  I am still wondering Itunes charges INR and does not abide by RBI rule for OTP

                    Hi,

                    I am planning to close my personal loan in standard chartered bank.

                    In my letter it mention as per closing charge as 1%.

                    But now bank saying like need to pay 5%.

                    I already complained and forward the respective documents to bank.

                    There is no proper reply from them.

                    I raised complained on oct 30th and planned to repay my pl on nov 4th.

                    Still now no reply from them. I am forced to pay interest for delay days and 4 % extra for pre closing charges.

                    Refer the attachment.

                        I was lured by an attractive offer from scb whereby they disbursed a loan of rs 3.5 lakhs against my existing credit card. The monthly emi was fixed at roughly 8990 and i started payment of rs 9000 against my monthly emi. Scb started apportioning the emi between credit card and card loan without seeing the balance in the card and in the process they reduced the emi in the card loan account and started levying interest on my loan account. I had to repeatedly call phone banking multiple times and get my charges reversed and had asked them to only consider the balance in the loan account. My card was lost and applied for replacement no card came. Because of this i became unable to access phone banking for making monthly calls for charge reversal which became like a routine starting march 2017. To put a stop to this i visited the bank branch at m g road bangalore in august and got a monthly ecs mandate towards my emi amount not exceeding rs 9000. Scb made a demand of rs 9975 in september against the ecs of rs 9000 and an amount of rs 20108 against the existing mandate in october. This was done intentionally knowing fully well that their debit instructions for an amount exceeding rs 9000 would be returned by my bank which is vijaya bank r c road bangalore. I had very clearly specified that the ecs was for 100% the card loan account emi of rs 9000. Because of this deliberate ecs bouncing action of scb my account is reflecting as deliquent in the cibil rating and my rating has plumetted to 638 due to the mala fide action of scb and has caused undue loss to my financial standing and prestige. I am unable to access any other financial institution for personal loan to get my loan closed with scb due to the above cibil rating. My card loan account is [protected] and i have raised complaints numerous times but the basic issue of reversal of illegal bank charges unfair trade practice by the bank vide ref no[protected] dt 08/08/2017 conversation with sahana of phone banking, complaint number [protected] dt 31/10/2017 in m g road branch and complaint suo moto raised by one of the bank staff vide [protected] dt november 3rd 2017 to name a few main complaint references remains unaddressed. I am looking to raise the balance from some other bank and make an exit from scb. Request other customers to not enter this bank as this is a bank that indulges in massive unfair trade practices and cheating the customer through levy of illegal charges. Request consumer forum or consumer advocacy group to take up my case and file case for damaging my cibil credit rating and damages for rs25 lakhs and refund of followup costs totalling rs 15000/-

                            The bank employees are very unprofessional and lot of lies and false promises. They won't give anything in written and ask you sign empty forms. They will say cash back and they won't pick phone after loan processing. They will keep pre-closure period to not allow you to escape.

                                Fake commitment from standard chartered bank executive while applying credit card he committed at least 10 times before submitting documents.
                                He promise me he gives me to jbl wirless headphone worth 3500 rs.
                                I ask him at least 10 times to please confirm the same and then ask me the documents. I never see like fake commitment in my life. Very pathetic service by standard chartered bank.

                                  I get a loan from standard chartered credit card. They only fixed the loan amount. Now every month they charged over limit charges everymonth before billing date. I paid regularly before due date only.. Eventhough they charges over limit charges and gst around 1000 every month. I spoke to custimer care person he said bank will return the over limit charges. But i didnt received yet. Two months gone

                                    Hello team

                                    I've been using the manhattan cr card since 4 years and till now i'm paying the amount without fail or in prompt and also i used to pay the amount more than the billed amount.

                                    Two months back i purchased a product from flipkart worth rs.10000 in emi and immediate day i cancelled the same and the amount got reversed. Even though amount got reversed they are charging me..

                                    Even though i spoke to customer care or written a complaint on the same to customer. [protected]@sc.com no one is giving the correct resolution. And only thing they are saying i need to pay the amount which is ridiculous. Why should anyone pay the amount for which it is not being used??

                                    Please check in to it and process the refund amount which i've paid excess (3000/-) and i have not paid the 7090/-..
                                    I need my 3000/- back.

                                      Recently i did some purchases through scb manhattan card and total amount i spent is around 51000 while the limit provided on card is 54000. B2over limit charges of 500 are imposed on it further by scb. I don't know why this cheat by bank where i can see the credit limit is not crossed yet. I need this over limit fee charges to be widthdrawn on it.

                                        I requested a pre closure of personal loan, for which bank debited EMI from my Standard Chartered (SC) account and also from my ECS account, that too exceeding the installment amount.
                                        Later they credited EMI amount that was debited in excess but did not refund the erroneously credited amount (in addition to EMI amount).
